My Man
Hey, you sweet things! It occurred to me that I've posted pictures of everyone in my family but my man. Here he is with his two best girls. Of course, he really has four best girls because you'll never meet a man crazier about his daughters but these are his day-to-day, live-in best girls. I am one blessed woman because that man loves me dang-near as much as he loves that birddog. They are inseparable. While I'm showing Keith off, allow me to say that he is one big handful but God picked that maverick just for me so that I would not be insufferably self-righteous (and go explain THAT tendency with a stinking past like mine). Keith is uncontrollable. Utterly untamable. And he is wonderful. My man. My miracle. To God's great glory, NO ONE on earth has had more impact on this ministry than Keith. He has zero tolerance for pretense, pride, and false piety. As he often says, "A Texan can smell a varmint a mile off." Because of Keith and the inconceivable patience and diligent work of my Christ, I no longer smell like much of a varmint. With Keith, it's real or no deal. He holds me to an excruciating standard of authenticity. How blessed could a woman be???

(Amanda writing now. My dad actually wrote the foreword for Get Out of that Pit. Melissa and I were so proud!)

Beth,
You and Keith make a beautiful couple. It is so awesome how he supports you in ministry and how involved he is in it. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us. I know you are the real deal and it makes such a big difference. What an encouragement you are!
Love you,
J
BETH MOORE I love you a million non-fat cappuchinos :)
...and I love Mr. Keith for loving you the way he does...but in a Godly, i-"love"-my-friend's-husband-for-the-
way-he-loves-her kinda way...and THAT'S IT ;)
...and you are holding up to his standards pretty well :)
oh my heavens...I don't think God makes a more beautiful couple.
now THAT is Jesus right there :)
(ps...i don't mean the dog picture...although she's beautiful)
I thank you, Keith, for undergirding and loving Beth...for sharing her and allowing her to (as Philip Sandifer says), "Always
Let Her Dance." My Chris enjoys the hunting stories and just about anything having to do with shooting. I always share these little gems with him to make him laugh and remind him how fun you can be and be a Christian. Amen?
He knows there will be shooting in Heaven!

Beth, It is one of your houston girls. I just wanted to let you know you have a lovely family. I love all the pictures. Thanks for writing "Get out of that Pit" I am reading it and listining to you teach on it on life today. I just happen to catch it tonight. I know it was GOD. I have been it a huge pit this year and it keeps getting bigger and bigger. Just as I felt like I have started to get out something happens and I get pushed back down. The hardest blow came when I lost someone that was very dear to me this year. The devil is really trying to do a number on me. Because like you said last night at bible study. God is about to do something and the devil is sptiitng mad. Thanks for all you do.
love you,
a houston girl
When they love you as much as thy love their bird dogs, that is true love indeed. You are blessed.
How cute are the two of you! Beth, because of your example of how to treat your man, I have become more and more conscience of the way that I treat mine. And, I must say that I happen to have the BEST! I can't imagine my life with anyone else. Besides, no one else would put up with me, I can say with confidence. I PROMISE you, Beth. I am MUCH MUCH blonder and weirder than you. If you ever meet me on this earth you will find out just how true that is.
Thanks for sharing photos of Keith. I am doing the Patriarchs right now and I cried when you told us (in Session 2) how Keith was standing in the gap for those of us whose husbands don't pray for us. Thank you Keith! I am crying again just thinking about it. You don't know what a blessing it is. Funny, I never thought about my husband not praying for me until Beth said you were doing it. Now I am counting on it!
Thanks again Keith and Beth, you are indeed a rare couple. Now I am praying for all of you!
I often remember Keith when I need prayer simply because I don't feel as if there are ever many people praying for me. I think too many times my friends and family think I have it all "together" and so I end up at the bottom of the prayer list. Truth be known, I think I just wrap it up with a smile and so folks assume. Anyway, on days when I really need intercession.... I mean REALLY need intercession.... I remember Keith and know that somewhere, somehow he is standing in the gap for me and doesn't even realize it's me he's interceding for. Thank you, Keith. I have felt every one.
You two make the cutest couple and what an inspiration you are to all of us. It was a treat to see Keith with you in Phoenix! I still can't believe he got up on stage and spoke to us. There is no hiding that you two are in love! I want to thank Keith for his support and prayers. I, too, was touched when you told us Keith prayed for those who don't have husbands to pray for them. Thank you! Thank you to your whole family for ministering to us. You all are one special family and it is a joy to pray for you all every morning.
Love,
Patty
Beth,
I am also married to an incurrable hunter and dog man. I knew he had a problem when one morning, thinking that I was sound asleep, he kissed the dog and patted me on the head. You gotta love 'em.
Love you!
I am reading Get Out of the Pit with two of my dearest friends, and Keith's forward to the book touched ALL of us. What a testimony he has to God's grace! The three of us have been, or ARE in different kinds of pits, but thankfully, God's grace is a "one size fits all" kind of thing! Thank you Beth, AND Keith for being willing to share your very personal stories of God's miraculous healing and grace in your lives.
Love the pictures of "your man". I call him "your man" because I just watched a session from the "Beloved Disciple" Tuesday night and there were pictures of you and "your man" as you called him in the segment. I can relate so much to your studies and they speak to my heart and I know that God is using them to give me understanding of His Holy Word.
Thank you Beth for being devoted to Him and His Word and helping women like me to grow in my faith walk.
Blessing and prayers,
Linda
Beth,
You and Keith are truly blessed to have one another! What a beautiful couple! Thank you for sharing your life with us! It brings so much encouragement to me, you'll never know...
God bless you both!

Beth,
May I just 'ditto' the comments about being grateful for Keith standing in the gap. My Dad passed away several years ago when I was 20, so I readily receive those prayers when offered. Thank you for letting us know! Oh how I love our sweet tender Jesus! And the pictures are absolutely precious.... Much love sisters! May He be given much much praise today...
Beth,
Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us! You and Keith are truly blessed to have each other!
You make quite a cute couple! No wonder the rest of the family are all beautiful; it's in their jeans!! Even little Jackson inherited some of those good look jeans!
God bless you all!

You two are so cute! you really do look alike! I kid my husband that we look alike...kind of like a dog starts to look like its owner:)
I am just so darn excited to be on here! I think I'm nervous...
Beth, have you ever thought of doing something on the topic of marriage/intimacy? You've mentioned praying to thrill to Keith's touch, which had a huge impact on myself and my girlfriends. It doesn't sound like that's always been the case and it seems like this is such a common issue. I'd love to learn more from God's point of view.
I so thank our Father for your love for Him and His Word, and for you. He's used you and your ministry to transform my life. What a gift from above!!
for me.. God bless.... my finger hit the wrong key, which is a good sign I was through! I talked too long! Have fun this weekend.
PRAISE GOD for amazing men like Keith! Good husbands are HARD to find, but when you do, it's like the most precious pearl at the bottom of the sea. And it takes God to pry open the ugly crusted shell for us to see the beauty inside!
Love all of you ladies!

Beth,
Charlie Parcus asked my husband this week if he knew Keith and they had a long talk over email about how Keith hunts more than my husband,Cy. Being a hunting widow every Friday and dealing with bird dogs in my clean house was bad enough before he had this excuse "well Keith gets to go every weekend and Keith has bird dogs"... We past you this morning at church when we were leaving and you were walking in and should have stopped you. The ironic thing is that I have been giving Cy a hard time about wearing jeans to church and his new come back will now be "well Keith gets to wear jeans".... Thought you would get a kick out of that...
I loved your dads forward in the book. I bet he could write a book of his own, he has got to have some good stories =)
Loe ya
lori from florida
and now we have seen Keith's office too....his desk as full of his life as yours is with yours! I could read the titles of your research books but what is that logo on those caps?!! LoL!(that is for Lots of Love!)

I love the that you stand and show marriage real is awesome,My is to.Thank be to God for great man.We are a young couple so nice to hear your encouraging story in your marriage. Thanks again
I am so thankful for the two of you. You've encouraged me in so many ways. I just wanted to share something...
If an ounce of pretension is like a pound of manure, I’m certain we were “smelled” for miles. I looked up the definition of “pretension” and found the following: 1. a claim or title to something 2. a claim to dignity, importance, or merit 3. the act of pretending or alleging.”
One of my parents grew up with an alcoholic father. The other grew up trying to win a father’s approval and love. Both of their fathers died before giving their respective child what they needed - a father’s love. I know our Heavenly Father will make up for what their earthly fathers didn’t know how to give with much more than they could ever hope for or imagine. I know, I’m their child and grew up on such broken ground that my heart cried, “Lord, I want to be whole. I want to be authentic. I want to be the same at home and in public.” Praise God, He came to my rescue and is setting me emotionally free.
So if people stink…please love them. They are trying so hard to display their pretty mask and don’t want others to see that they are deteriorating underneath. If the wind blew too hard and caused their mask to fall off, they would probably crumble and not have the strength to gather themselves together again. I speak from experience. Please pray that the “stinky people” have the courage to come out from behind their mask to a loving, Heavenly Father who loves them for who they are. A Father who can hardly wait to love all over them, be their everything, and give them whatever they need to be emotionally free.
Beth,
I am kicking myself in my *ample* rear because my password seems to not be recognized and therefore I am posting 'anonymously'! arrrggh!!! just wanted to say you and Keith make such a gorrrrgeous couple!!!! you put *ALL* celebrity couples to shame!
Maria Cristina (GratefulBambina)
I have to say the thing I noticed first was your dog! I also have a German Short haired Pointer
and she is my baby. I knew I connected with you for some reason!
You make such a lovely couple. I too am blessed with the most incredible husband who also hunts. The best part about that is that we hunt together and it's a special bond we share. Most don't believe a girlie girl like me actually hunts but I do. My husband taught me to hunt and I'm sure your husband will agree, it's not all about the kill, but it is all about the hunt. One sees some of God's most incredible creations when you spend time in the outdoors. That's one of the best parts of getting out of the city and into the mountains. God Bless You!
Okay so can I just say... He's a Hottie! You have yourself a fine lookin' Texas man there Beth! YOU ARE BLESSED!!
My husband, Thom, tells me that he loves me more than his Hockey equipment... Now that is some serious LOVE!! Phew! Thank the Lord for blessings of Christian men who love us! :)
