Pretty Clever Staff
My staff's pretty funny, posting my second office, now aren't they??? IT'S TRUE! I ADMIT IT! I check to see if there are any ministry opportunities in the Starbucks near our office every single morning. Grin. And I might add, I never fail to be ministered unto. Never underestimate what God can do through a grande non-fat cappuccino. He leadeth me beside the Starbucks and my cup overflows.

You're so funny!
HA HA HA!! You aren't the only one, my friend! I look forward to the cup of Java with you in glory!! Love and blessings from NC
Dearest Beth-
My best friend and I (who became such because of our common bond in having done "Breaking Free") are certain that God is putting in a little coffee shop just around the corner from your heavenly mansion! I hope the three of us can one day share a little of that heavenly brew and we can let you know how radically your teaching of the Word has changed our earthly lives! Waiting expectantly for that glorious day...

I hope this means you have put the Starbucks gift card that I sent for your birthday last year to good use. This Mocha Frappacino girl loves you.
Hi Beth,
This is Brittnie Wilbanks. I discovered your blog site today. I have enjoyed reading it and catching up on all that God is doing in your life. You are a blessing and I pray God will use my life as He has yours to reach others for Jesus. Let's have a Starbucks together someday soon. Blessings, Brittnie
This is hilarious...maybe they will let you put a desk in there Beth!!! LOL...I am so glad you are doing this blog, lol, so we get to see you more often, and feel like we get to be a part of your life...I have it as my home page now, so when I get online, there you are and I get to see what's happening with you. FUN, FUN, FUN...
My favorite is a 16oz White Chocolate Mocha with one shot and whip cream...how about the rest of you, if you had a chance to go to Starbucks with Beth, what would you order?

You guys are fun! Now, I reiterate, I wish I could be snowed in with you guys. I'd porbably be hospitalized afterwards from all the laughing. I believe that is a perfect picture of our Christ.

Beth~
God confirmed the call on my life during "His" Patriarchs study and then again during the Daniel study. He is giving me a passion and a longing to know Him so much more. I long to be one with Him. My heart hurts with a desire to know Him. Through my husbands wise words, God showed me that He can use a willing and "empty" vessel. Empty of self and my desires and will. Thanks for being that willing, "empty" vessel. You truly inspire me to be all that God wants me to be. I completely feel connected to you through the love of Christ. He is the absolute best and I cannot wait to see what God does next.
Your sister in Christ!!
PS We have a mutual friend in Birmingham, AL
I love your second office! I was a Raleigh girl (and a Greensboro girl and a soon to be Boone girl :). My mom, sisters, & I are God's girls and love going to your conferences. I loved the Psalms of Ascent, but am embarrassed to say that I never sent you a letter upon completion! Oh, you should have seen me trying to pray with my face on the floor after that weekend. It was pretty funny, considering that I was seven+ months pregnant with my fourth child!! I knew God would understand that I got down as low as my pregnant belly would allow :).
Thanks for all you do for the Lord!

Dear Beth
Thank you for being so down to earth. Each time we start a new study I tell the new girls they are going to love you just like we do--and they do. Some have even decided to go the extra mile and do some homework-- I feel like a proud parent. We pray for you each Thursday night before we begin our Daniel study. Actually I have prayed for you for over 10 years--I just didn't know your name. I prayed for a mentor and I thought His answer was no. Now I know God was fixing your heart so you could pass the medicine along. He is so good and I love Him so. Now it is my turn to pass the medicine along.
Shoulder to shoulder we fight the good fight.
I love it...and I love the non fat Cinnamon Dolce Latte! :)
Very funny!! I think God wants us to shine brightly wherever we are working at any given moment!! I'll support you 100% while I grab my grande non-fat white mocha!!
Ever Onward,
Fran
Hi Beth! I just wanted to say Hi and let you know that every time I am at the local Starbucks I think of you! Knowing how much you love it and how often I have done your daily homework, I can't help but think of you!! What I would give to share a cup of lovely coffee with you!! Or for me, a ToffeeNut Frappacino! Mmm, tasty!!
I also wanted to say that I was at the taping of the Psalms of the Ascent in Nashville. I loved your teachings and am so excited to do the study when it comes out! Thanks ever so much for doing this blog!! I just found it today and its great!! And your grandson is tooo adorable!! He would get along great with the kids I nanny! Especially the baby, Sarah Grace is always looking for a new buddy!
Okay, I will shut up now!! Hope you have a great day!!!

You will find a Starbucks everywhere around here in Seattle!
I love Iced Decaf Mocha with cream...
Dear Beth:
As was reading on the BLOB tonight (and I love reading the blob, because my sisters say the most amazing and inspiring things!), I realized the reason your ministry means so much to me. I have been in church all my life. It’s been a long 44 years! I have heard all kinds of speakers/teachers, but none of them made me feel as though they were like me and God lavishly loved them (and me)! I always felt as though God’s love was for someone else, someone who got it right. Someone who got it right all the time – after salvation. A gifted somebody, a blessed somebody, somebody that God had created that way, almost perfect. To me the fact that they were speaking/teaching doing some kind of ministry meant that God loved them . . . more, after all he created them more perfect than I was. It seemed more like a club with a secret codebook and I was an outsider looking in.
Then God did something amazing, he moved me off my pew (another story). After he moved me, he introduced me to your ministry; through you, God convinced me that He loves me! That He has plans for me - that He loved me all along. That He can and will use somebody who hasn’t always done it right (and has no ability on her own to do it right!). I had no idea it was about the relationship - I had no idea how to Love Him the way I do today. God has convinced me through your ministry He loves me and it’s all about Him. I have learned to “pray to!” I have prayed to love His word “like Beth does”; I have prayed to love Him more today than yesterday and more this afternoon than this morning. And, I do love Him so!!
Why the revelation tonight –the photos of you, Celebrating God’s Faithfulness (over the Psalms of Ascent) and in Starbucks (one of my favorite places!!!) and bowling, reminded me again of how real you are, how transparent. And, how much you love Him. I just want other women to know the freedom that comes with knowing and loving our Savior- thank you for introducing me to that freedom!
Linda
I use to be strictly a latte' baby but now I'm a cappucino woman! I know what it is Beth. I can hardly say it and contain myself. It's the FOAM! It's the FROTH! Not only does my favorite store Target have Starbucks but they have coffee holders that attach to your cart! Praise Jesus! Diamonds won't do for this girl. My wonderful husband gave me a Starbucks gift card for Christmas. What a man!
Tall, white-chocolate mocha please! *smile* I'm watching my figure!
I love Starbucks too. We live in a small town so there is no Starbucks here! We keep hearing rumors of one but nothing let. Hearing that Starbucks is coming to town is one time gossip gives a little hope!
I'm planning on seeing you in Atlanta this summer, I can't wait!
Love ya!
Jenny
You speak truth over us! :)I'm just hoping Starbucks is giving you some promotional fees, but I know you well enough to know you wouldn't accept. You're precious. Can't wait for tonight. Love, Annette
My favorite is White Chocolate Mocha Grande no whip!!! There are just some things too good to pass up. Good coffee is definitely one of them. Barb
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” - Marianne Williamson
I love this quotation - it reminds me of what you ahve done for so many of us. Your liberation in Christ gives us hope that we can achieve the same. God bless you.

My DD is in college and a barista -- I love when she comes home smelling like coffee! I give her a big hug and inhale deeply. Do you come home smelling like coffee?! :0 :)
I just found this blog site and am so thrilled. What an inspiration you are. I know to God be the glory. I pray my faith and love for God will be as contagious as yours, Beth.
I do have a question. With the help of the Lord, you have raised two godly women who love the Lord. What advice do you have for someone who has two young teen girls? They are christians but are going through changes and the world is tugging and they seem to want to go that way. I want them to start the godly legacy in our family.
I love the pictures that you have shared on your blog. I too am in love with coffee. Right now I am participating in the Daniel Bible study at my church. We are on week 8. Pray for us as we study God's Word.
God Bless from MARY in Alabama
I'll have a tall Awake tea, please!
I'll have some tea with Amanda - Irish Breakfast, please. The World of Women is run by more than coffee, dear sisters!!
May God bless the cup in your hand AND fill your heart to overflowing...
I am shaking my head at some of the new words and phrases our family has learned lately. "Texting and Blogging". I acutally had to "google" what Blog meant not long ago and look at all of us here...blogging. In our home we are experiencing life with a precious almost in a few weeks Teenager!! While eating lunch after church on Sunday...a little "ding" went off in our darling daughters purse. She was being "texted"! I'm pretty sure she had taken a poll on who was going to choir in a few hours.
Ha! I shall raise my non-fat latte!
I'll have a caramel Frappuccino (sp) please.
Beth I love the Blog and the way I can hear from you as if it were a personel message to me. I feel like one of your home girls even tho I have never met you in person. I have been all over the states to hear you in person, done both on line Bible studies, and been to all the simulcast and I am overjoyed each time I hear the way you teach God's Word. You are so anointed and know how to make me want to know more and more about Jesus. Sometimes when I haven't heard you for a while, I know that I just need a good dose of Beth's teaching to get me back on track. I love you and I love Starbucks..onya
Carolyn
Hey all you starbucks lovers. I get to spend numerous hours in starbucks every day! I am a starbucks barista and believe me we need prayer!! Everytime you go in say a prayer for the workers it will be a great thing. I love the job and my team members. Beth we loved you at passion as three of us went from my store!!! God is good all the time. Starbucks rocks!!!
We have several things in common. I too have a second office at Starbuck's and spend my lunch hours there illustrating the patrons and then post them on my blog. When we recently moved from California to a new city and state we made sure there was a Starbuck's- a prequisite to moving!
