Nashville Commissioning

Here is the Nashville Deeper Still commissioning. Thanks so much for your patience! Our sweet Beth has been swamped. This comes from a blend of all three messages. It was based on the life of David and his summons of the Ark toward the end of his life.

My Dear Sister
Now it's your turn
Take your Rhema
And obey it NOW!
No matter what awaits you
Or who doesn't believe you
You are at a crossroad
Don't miss God for the world!
Move past your offense
Forsake every stronghold
And go with God.
You are dearly loved
Completely forgiven
Deeply called
And thoroughly equipped
When you study God's Word!
Get out there and live this thing
To the glory, honor, and supremacy
Of Christ Jesus, the King.
You go, Girl,
Deeper Still!
Because you are not a sissy!
God is with you
And your sister loves you.

At the Nashville event Beth said to us, "Let's have the courage to see the fulfillment of Gods promises to us".
It really does take courage to not act like a "sissy" at those crossroads. How trajic to think of missing Him for this world.
Thanks for the commissioning to live this thing to the glory and honor of our King!

I'm so thankful for Beth's encouragements to us to be strong. There's a mindset out there that says it's okay to sit down and give into weakness but that's not truth. God gives us a spirit of strength and tells us to be strong and courageous! Keep preaching it sister!

Thanks Beth. Once again, your commissioning is a timely word. Our God is so amazing in the way He gives a word, right when it's needed. And let me say, I can hardly wait 'til Atlanta '08 Deeper Still! I'm praying for ya'.

Amanda,Thank you for the Commissioning. The words;

You are dearly loved
Completely forgiven
Deeply called
And thoroughly equipped
When you study God's Word!

Hit me like a ton of bricks. Ladies I must confess studying is not my strong suit. I love the Lord with all my heart and I desire your prayers that I'll get fired up and really learn to study Gods word so I can know him better and better everyday.

Thank you!!
I was in a group of 3 (one girl was a dear friend and the other girl had come alone and I grabbed her and brought her into our group)
It was precious to be able to look into each of their precious faces and verbalize this truth!
I love the part that says "I am not a sissy"-hehe!!
I am still enjoying and living out my Rhema I learned at Deeper Still!!
God bless,
Kim

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! There was SO much to take in over the weekend, I could not remember exactly what we stated (it was just too "DEEP")! Since returning from Nashville, our group has resumed our fall Bible study but I wanted (I should say needed) more. Amanda, I too started Jesus, 90 days with the one and only! I am so excited!!! Blessings and love to you all! Aimee

I know these commissionings are intended specifically for those who hear Beth's messages at the different events, but they speak to me EVERY TIME. Oh, the strongholds I hold onto as if they can offer me any protection...when God is my one true fortress and shield.

Thank you for reminding us of these truths...

You are dearly loved
Completely forgiven
Deeply called
And thoroughly equipped
When you study God's Word!
Get out there and live this thing
To the glory, honor, and supremacy
Of Christ Jesus, the King.

In answer to Mitzi's question,

If I understand these terms correctly, "logos" is God's word in its entirety, His whole revelation and "rhema" is a specific word He has for us. I think I'm right, but would welcome anyones correction if I am wrong.

Praying for Friday!

Mitzi,
This is what I understand "rhema" to be:

The RHEMA, word from God, is when God speaks directly to you as you apply the Bible's teaching to a specific subject in your life. When God takes something general and makes it specific to you.

This was so powerful for me to hear today. My husband and I believe God clearly called our family to be missionaries in Guatemala, and in the long and faith-testing process of raising support and selling our home, we have had many people tell us we are crazy! Including people in our own family! I'm believing God...thank you, Beth for your encouragement!

I agree with our sista Diginee - I was not in Nashville but your words could not have been more perfect. In fact I emailed a friend immediately and said "God spoke directly through Beth Moore to me this evening!" The "move past your offense"...spoke to me SO loudly. This commissioning was posted this morning yet I was offended this afternoon...then read the words this evening. Thank you ladies for being so delighted in the Lord that He is able to use you to touch the hearts and lives of others!

Deeper Still goes well beyond Nashville to this heart needing a rhema word of hope and forgiveness and future. This world is not for wimps, is it! So thankful we have such a sweet Savior to walk these stony paths together with us. Blessing Him for using you so mightily. Love, Annette
I think I may need a poster for my desk out of this commissioning!

A Rhema is a verse or passage of Scripture that the Holy Spirit brings to your attention with the application to your current situation or need for inspiration or direction.

Is that right Amanda?

Dear Mitzi,

You asked about what the "Rhema" word is, so I hope this helps:

Rhema is the living or live/active word of God....And we are to take those words to be our weapons as we fight against this world and our enemies.

I am a child of God, born-again, filled with the holy spirit, redeemed by the blood of the lamb-I do not live by bread alone but by every Rhema Word that comes out of the mouth of God. John 1:12;3:3,7; Ephesians 5:18; Revelation 5:9; 1 Peter1:18,19; Deuteronomy 8:3; Matthew 4:4; LUKE 4:4
I will not be conformed to this world, but I will be transformed by the renewing of my mind so that I can prove the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2
I will overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb by the word of my testimony and by not loving my own life even unto death. Revelation 12:11

RHEMA IS THE SPOKEN WORD OF GOD APPLIED TO OUR PERSONAL SITUATIONS
WE SPEAK THE "RHEMA WORD" OF GOD THE RHEMA WORD IS OUR WEAPON IT'S OUR "SWORD OF THE SPIRIT" AND WE CAN TAKE OUT ANY ENEMY THAT TRIES TO COME AFTER US!!!!!

Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Rhema-Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

Let it be to me according to your Rhema-Word. Luke 1:38

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Rhema-Word of God. Romans 10:17

And take up the sword of the Spirit which is the Rhema-Word of God. Ephesians 6:17

Let these words be your weapons as you fight. 1 Timothy 1:18

Rhema is taking God's word literally, believing and understanding that the spoken Rhema word is powerful and stuff begins to change in your atmosphere and in your life when your walk with Jesus includes these disciplines. It's POWER BABE!!

To Mitzi,
Rhema is Greek for "word." It's used in the context of God's specific word to you as you read His Word or listen to someone teaching His Word. It just jumps out at you or hits your heart hard with its Truth. That's God speaking to you...your Rhema from God. I hope I explained that right.

Mitzi,

Rhema is like when a word of God hits you and it speaks into your life. Like as if a light bulb was turned on!

I have been waiting for this to be posted. I was at Deeper Still N'ville and was blessed more than I can even express. God revealed himself to me in a mighty way and I am sooo thankful. He knew that exactly one week later I would be told that I have breast cancer. I am a 33 year old wife and mother of 2 girls and breast cancer was not part of my plan. But, God is being glorified through my journey and I am determined to keep it that way!!! You can check out my blog for more details...www.singmehome.wordpress.com. Blessings to all!!!

Can I just say that I am literally shaking as I read this after the weekend I had with the Lord. This word just further confirms what the Lord is calling me to and I am blown away by how real (and clear) He has been on this one. I have certainly gotten me a RHEMA! I am definately at that CROSSROAD but I am so comforted to know that my loving Father will be holding my hand as I cross. Thank you Beth. The Lord has used you to nail this down in my heart. It's time for me to go eat some carpet.

Deeper still had a dramatic impact on my life. When Beth spoke I felt as though the entire Somet Center went black and a bright pillar of light shined straight down on me. The Words of God spoken by His precious servant pierced through bones and marrow and way down deep in my heart! Life's circumstances had caused me to unknowingly stop trusting God. NOT ANYMORE!! I gave all of my heart back to the Only One Who can handle it! Praise Him!
