Email Beth and let her know you're coming to San Antonio. Please include your mailing address (and why not go crazy and give us your phone number too) so that we will have several options for contacting you when we have further instructions.

I would LOVE to come! Is it something where if we don't sign up right away we can't come? We're supposed to be transfered early spring (we're hoping for Dallas, anything is better than CT though). I was just wondering if I waited until we knew where we were going if it would be too late?
Oh, Sweet Jesus. I can not fathom how I am going to make this happen, but Lord willing--I will be there.

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, no way, no way, no way!!!!! I just went to sign up immediatly and now had to comment. I won't even apoligize for it being so long, cause I just don't care right know! I am beside myself with excitment!! That video was the BEST! You guys are so funny! O.k. 1st, how long will it take me to drive to Texas (if that's even possible-there might be an ocean in the way you know!) Should I leave now?? OHHHHHHHHHHHHH I just cannot wait!! O.k. I just don't know what else to say. If I have to fly I'll do it but I'll have to be knocked up! I only flew to FL (3 hr.) trip and that was bad enough but it's o.k. I can do this. Oh my I'm soooo excited!!!!! O.k. I need to start breathing now lucky for all of you who now think I'm crazy! Oh yea, I still haven't got over the fact that you all are coming to NH next year. What a year that will be! I so hope I can help. I would just LOVE it!!! o.k. enough already!

I can't wait either!! I have sent the email and I am waiting on LifeWay to open so I can call and get tickets. I can't wrap my mind around all of this, Deeper Still next Friday and meeting a few siestas there and Texas next year. What a blast!! As Beth says, There ain't no high like the Most High!!

I just signed up for the Siesta Fiesta. Are we supposed to go ahead and make hotel reservations, or will there be further instructions from Beth on that? I can hardly contain my excitement!
Well as one Texan to a couple of others... I cannot wait either! Praise the Lord. We have been making Christmas lists at our house this week and this conference is on my list (I did tell them they would have to be early with the gift though). I posted on Beth's August 23rd blog that this day is a very somber and special day, with the day before being my wedding anniversary. Since my man patiently endured my trip to Boissier City in March and was wonderful to pick me up and drop me off - I thought I would invite a siesta of my own to make the trip with me. In 2004 I took the women's group at our previous church to San Antonio twice for conference events. We went to the Women of Faith National Event in March of that year and to the Lifeway Women's Convention in December. I can navigate the streets of Old San Antone quite well. Yippee!

I just want you to know that I am suffering from GODLY jealousy!!!!! Oh I hope that's in the Bible somewhere lol - I won't be able to attend - oh but I want to with all my heart - have a BLAST together - and don't worry about me I'll get over it with a pound of chocolate:)
I just may sign myself up for this "siesta fiesta"! It's just a jog down the road from Austin and the thought of attending an event rather than working an event sounds mighty appealing to me!
Now, I am counting on some sort of Tex-Mex buffet for the siesta fiesta bunch, okay? Can we wear sombreros just to make sure we all stand out?
This Siesta Fiesta sounds great, but what if we don't know if we will be attending yet. I've already made plans to take a group of our ladies from church to the LP event in Jacksonville, FL in March. San Antonio is so far away from us (East Alabama) that it may be months before I know if I can come. Will we still be able to sign up by then? Can you give us more information as to how this will be different- how us siestas will be getting together -etc.? I really hope I will be able to come!!
By the way Beth, we started the Bible study Living Beyond Yourself at church last night and I loved it. Can't wait for the next 10 weeks!

Amanda - please let the Siestas know that hotels do not take reservations this early! Most start about 11 - 11 1/2 months out . . . just tried!

What great idea--a "Fiesta"! Actually I am writing to thank you for coming to RI...I am from NJ and had been looking forward to this for months. I brought along a couple of friends who were so encouraged! I cried for most of the conference...it was just the presence of God! This whole week has been the same. I keep saying to myself remember "DISPATCH"!!

Sounds great! I want to come, but can't really sign up right away. How long will tickets be available and what's the maximum capacity? In other words, if you're only making 2000 available, I might be a little nervous to wait to long!

I'm in. Registered for San Antonio 8/08. God has used your Bible Studies, your words, to help me realize that it is my God standing in my path. Number 22:34. You have so helped me to find my God in ways I never imagined. Can't wait to be a part of seeing you live in the presence of these bloggers who love you and in His Presence. We know you will do Numbers 22:38 "speak only what God puts in your mouth."
I probably won't be able to come unfortunately. My husband says the only way would be if we gave up our family vacation for the year. And San Antonio in August. This Northwestern girl would die of heat stroke for sure!

Hey siestas! I am so pumped about our fiesta. In fact I'm already here getting San Antonio covered in prayer. I think I am most excited about corporate worship with other women who adore our Savior! I am praying for y'all to get here, for safe travel, healthy families, and prepared hearts.

Just getting back from a brief weekend time with hubby (we went camping!!) and saw the sign-up for the "Siesta Fiesta" next August!! Oh! I'm so sorry that I will NOT be able to attend!! :-( Since I do not fly, I'm afraid the trip from NC might be rather lengthy....but nonetheless, my thoughts and prayers will be on each one that attends! Maybe some year it will be here in NC....Charlotte would be just dandy!!!

This has nothing to do with the siesta fiesta but it's the coolest thing, so I am sharing. We began our 'A Woman's heart....' new study today. We had 7 new women to our group who have never been and several others who have never done a Bible study or a study with Beth before.
At the end as Beth was praying that God would cause our eyes to see and that He would 'strike' us with an awesome presence....help us feel it.....and as she said 'in the mighty name of Jesus'....a huge lightning and clap of thunder shook us all out of our seats and turned off the projector. It actually made the hair stand up on your arms!! woohoo.....we all just smiled and knew God was there with us this morning! Thanks Beth and Thank you Jesus.
Hello Siesta's...Road trip from the San Diego, CA area is in the works right now! We have 3 of us so far. We are seeing Beth in April in San Diego, and then we get to do this trip in Aug!!

Ok, I am all registered! It is a step of faith, because I do not like to fly alone and I have NEVER done something like this. (Fly alone to a state/city I have never been to, to attend a conference by myself, and to stay in a hotel all alone...do I sound like the biggest baby yet?) But I am excited!!! This Yankee is heading south!

Waiting for the airlines to see if there is an affordable flight from Indy...they only book through July right now...don't they know I have a fiesta to plan...what is up with that?!

Just got back from Atlanta, with Beth and Women of Faith. How awesome, and what a blessing. The four of us from Killeen, Texas are registered for Siesta Fiesta next August. Whew! just got hotel reservations today. If you don't have them, do it today. They are already booked...Saw the video, Beth..snoring away. My friend and I are coming to Esther on Tuesday for Bible Study for the 10 weeks. My daughter lives right down the way. Can't wait..Phyllis Bishop

I hope it wasn't too late to register. I registered a couple weeks ago and followed all the directions :) Last night I booked the hotel and today getting the plane tickets. WOOHOO. I am SO looking forward to this. I really hope it wasn't to late to join in on the fiesta.
