After viewing the comments on the Deeper Still blog, it is quite evident "SOMTHIN' BIG" is going on in Nashville.

Thank you God for Your mighty presence in that place. May everyone walk away having been forever changed by You.

You alone are worthy of glory, honor and praise. We love You, Lord.

Looking forward to hearing what Beth has to say about the event...she can paint a picture with words the way no other can.

Been prayin' for Nashville for a couple days now, from here in Wyoming. Last night our church started our annual 3 day missions conference. In the midst of it, our pastor reminded us of the mission field in our own neighborhood. I immediately prayed for you guys in Nashville. What a blessing to see all those women!! Don't you know how much that sight must please our God, and really really really angers satan. Will continue to pray for today and all the blessings that are in store for all the siestas, and of course everyone else too!

I'm excited about what God is doing and up to in other parts of the country. It is refreshing to hear about it because we are under such oppression spiritually here in the Northwest. God is so gracious-all the time! Michael W.Smith sings a song titled "Grace" and part of the lyrics say,"it's Grace, grace, I'm nothing without You. It's Your Grace." Thankyou Jesus for bringing my siestas in Nashville such grace!
Love to all of you and prayers also!

God is so good. He used all three teachers this weekend in a powerful way to get my attention and to let me know how much He still loves me. I feel so blessed to have received those tickets from Cindy. Thank you,Cindy, for listening. :-) I know that God had planned for me to be at that conference all along.

You see, I have been ready to give up on having a relationship with God. (Just being honest here) It seems that whenever I feel strongly that God has given me directions for decisions with my family, my husband believes we are to go in a completely different direction. He is a man who prays and reads God's word, so I know that I am to trust him as the head. I WANT to trust him as the head. But I end up feeling like I am either being disobedient to what I thought God wanted for us to do, or maybe I did not really hear from God. So I was ready to just throw in the towel and forget it, which is disobedient and rebellious.

Beth's teaching caused me to realize that I have a pattern in my life of letting my disappointment in the results of my obedience turn into my disobedience. My thoughts become, "What good does it do? Where has it gotten me?" I realize that this is very selfish and INCORRECT thinking.

Priscilla reminded me about who I am and who I belong to. She reminded me to be patient, that God's plan for my life is a lifelong process. I can't expect things to happen over night.

Kay reminded me about how important each decision is that I make at the crossroads in my life. I have to choose to go deeper with God instead of that old pattern I just described. Otherwise, I go somewhere I really don't want to go and it costs me more than I want to pay.

The praise team was absolutely awesome, every member so wonderfully gifted. I joke about wishing my daughter could sing with them. My daughter has been given the gift of leading others in authentic worship. She has been leading others, youth and adults, in worship since she was 12. She is now 17 and as she approaches those years where she is trying make decisions on the direction to take with her life, college, career, etc., it is simply my loving momma's heart that causes me to wish for her to be mentored and molded under such Godly leadership as this praise team, and Beth Moore.

Thank you all for giving your lives to be used by God and for ministering to us. I needed the Word spoken and the songs sung so badly this weekend. I am ready to go Deeper Still!

It was an awesome conference! God showed up and He showed up big. I feel priviledged that there were people praying for the conference around the country and I got to reap the harvest from those prayers.

I cannot thank Beth, Priscilla, Kay, the worship leaders and all the people who worked so hard to pull this off enough. I was truly blessed.

To Him be the glory!

Oh what an incredible message I have heard over the past 24 hours in Nashville! WOW! Thank you, Beth, for continuing to be obedient to what God has gifted you to do. I know that with this incredible gift must come a huge amount of warfare. Please know that I am praying for you to stay strong in Jesus - there are still so many women (and men) out there who so desperately need to hear the Truth, as I did several years ago. THANK YOU!!!!! You are precious!!!!!

I was wondering if any of the siestas who were in Nashville could share how Kay Arthur has been healing. I recall receiving a prayer request from her son at Precept regarding her having broken a leg/foot/ankle not too long ago. I have been praying for her and would love to hear how she is doing from those of you who were able to attend.

Thank you, Siestas, for all the prayers on our behalf in Nashville. They weren't in vain!

God was waiting for me. My Mom always so thoughtful & creative with her gifts. My ticket was a birthday gift for 2 ~ my bday was January!! I have been looking forward to this weekend all year =) My Mom & I went together and shared this weekend, the first of many to come I'm sure.
And nothing was disappointing! God was waiting all year for me to come too... He spoke to me on several issues/levels. I was touched by Priscilla, Beth, & Kay. Ah, ladies ~ keep your heart & eyes on the Lord so you can help spread the word! Great Job! AMAZING yes! Praise and worship ~ AWESOME!! Once I got home tonight in Clarksville (not far drive) dinner, unpacked, & to bed. My 16 year son comes home and awakes me with a hug & kiss & telling me he missed me. Once I awoke, my heart&mind was still singing Praise to God from this weekend! Hallelujah!!

Let me share that I am SO tired of being "tweaked" Thank you God for laying that down on me through Beth speaking!! And giving ME affirmation that YOU, dear God, Almighty High CAN MOVE mountains and will for YOUR GLORY!!

Ladies, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you to your families for sharing & supporting you.
Mrs Kay ~ I pray that you are healed & recovery comes quickly so you can dance on that stage! Can I come & sit at your feet!?!
Priscilla, It was an honor to hear you speak. I will be looking for you more & checking out your bible studies! You had us at "HELLO"
Beth, I first saw you 10 years ago, you "aw" me then through your sincerity and deep desire to love each one of us to teach God's word & love. Thank you. When I speak of you, I tell people, "Girl, I want her phone # so I can call ya as girlfriends do..." You ROCK!!
I can't wait to take this deeper still hunger back to share with my ladies at church whom I serve with & lead.
I receive affirmation to begin a separate Bible study in my home. My struggle was how many? 12? 5 is OK! Thanks ladies for sharing that. 1 or many ~ God speaks.

Bless You Many

Hi, Amanda. I have a question for you. I was at the Deeper Still event this weekend at the Curb Center -- simply amazing is all I can say. I tried going online to the Deeper Still blog but don't know how to comment there. It said something about a closing challenge -- after Kay finished her strong message our screens went off like the event was over. Many people left including myself but when I got to my car I realized we were finished an hour early -- four instead of five. So I don't know if the feed came back on or not, but I would love to know the challenge or how they ended things at the Sommet.

I was so glad to be there at the Curb and thought they were so great to send everyone over to us -- Mandisa on Friday night, Anthony on Saturday morning and all three of them at lunch Saturday -- we had a wonderful time -- all 3500 of us! I was really so caught up in what Kay had taught us, I just needed to process it all! Which I got to on a five hour drive home which normally only takes three hours! Traffic re routed on 65 North! I listened to the Travis Cottrell cd I purchased but also my Watermark CD -- love Holy Roar, which Beth mentioned. Well, enough chit chat. I will keep checking Deeper Stills blog to see if they mention anything but sometimes you post the commisionings on here too. Thanks!
Kristina
PS I left some cocktail napkins for your mom at the event. They said they gather things and send them. But they were just perfect for your mom. They read: The higher the hair, the closer to God. And it has this old time photo of a lady with a 60s hairdo. Too cute! When I saw them in the store, I immediately thought of Miss Beth and bought them for her! Love you both.

I was fortunate enough to attend the Deeper Still Conference in Nashville. The presence of God was amazing! All 3 women are so passionate about teaching the word of God. Seeing the knowledge these 3 women have of the word of God flowing out of their mouths brought me to tears. Travis Cottrell and his band, Anthony Evans and Mandisa gave me chills as they sang. It was such a blessing to be a part of this weekend! Thank you Beth for all the heart and soul you put into speaking God's word.

In the midst of all this praise, I have one AWESOME prayer request. A girlfriend of mine, and her husband, are not believers. She recently lost her job, and is struggling with a myriad of things (you can imagine!): like being in the middle of a house renovation, health problems, etc.

I am praying that God provides a job right where they live, that is just right for them, and doesn't require a move.

Over time, they have allowed me to talk a bit more about our JESUS and the family of believers, but it's still very challenging. They know I am praying for them. Will you pray with me for God's answer to this prayer, for their eyes to be opened, and for both of them to be overwhelmed with the love, forgiveness and blessing of God Himself? Will you pray for me? Also, please pray that I would know when to speak, to speak the words the Holy Spirit feeds to me, and to know when to stay silent-if that's indeed what I should do!

I would so appreciate any/all prayers, thank you my siestas! I want these dear friends to be rejoicing the way you all are on this blog! Isn't God good to put is in this body together!

ladies,
I just have to leave this post here. Beth, you'll never know how the Holy Spirit carried you right off that stage and up to the third level of the Sommet Saturday morning. My husband and I operate a ministry that works with families enduring the life-threatening illness of a child. Oddly enough, a few months ago we began work with the family of a down's child with ALL. We work most specifically with displaced families - those that have left their home community to seek treatment for a child at a hospital far from home. This weekend, we were there with a group of 18 - several of the ladies with us had lost their children to cancer or genetic illness. We were all in absolute SHOCK (through our tears) as you came up there to the third level and "sat down next to us". We had some awesome healing work begun this weekend at Deeper Still, and I just want to thank you for your openness to the Holy Spirit on your life. There is no doubt in my mind that our little group was meant to be there and hear that message. One mom IMMEDIATELY turned to me when you were done and said "Did you KNOW what she was going speak on????" Nope...but God did. Be encouraged that He is using you as an important and vital presence in the lives of women you may never meet. Thank you for blessing us.

How immensely blessed are all of us who attended the conference in Nashville. Powerful words, challenging us to have a God-consciousness in every detail of our lives, be transformed! The anointing gives us everything we need, from the moment Jesus is invited into our hearts. The realization of what God is going to do for us is our pinnacle moment. We can move past the devastation in our walk - our calling is on the other side!! The Holy Spirit gives us power to make the right decisions at the crossroads of our lives. God will always give me more following Him than I can ever get doing it my own way. Grace is previous!!! Holy Holy Holy, the Lord God Almighty! Beth, Kay and Priscilla were vessels filled with fresh words straight from the heart of God this weekend. I am changed. Thank you so much for these conferences. Deeper Still was my fourth and I pray God leads me to more. I can't wait to really dig into my study guide and share with my cell gals.

This weekend was absolutely incredible. I went feeling like I knew Beth from watching her so much, but I was also blown by the truths taught by Priscilla and Kay. Oh my! I was blown away. After Beth's teaching on Saturday, while I was singing In Christ Alone to the top of my lungs, the Lord absolutely blew me away with the realization of how far He has brought me and how it was only through His work and not by any effort that I could have made on my own.

I've been a Christian since 9 years old (I'm 31 now). I have read the Bible completely in order 3 times, I'm in Jeremiah 37 now, in my 4th reading. Only this time have I grasped anything about the Old Testament. I am so thankful for the Daniel study, the Lord has enabled me to understand things in Old Testament that I never would have had I not asked for (and received) discernment in that study. Praise the Lord that He hears and answers in spite of me!

Anyway, the reason I was so blown away by His work is because 5 years ago in October was the last time I was in Nashville. Even though I had journaled prayers since 11th grade and seen some answers, and read and studied my Bible since then, I still had the huge idols I put in front of the Lord. 5 years ago when I went to Nashville I was chasing those idols, that not coincidentally at all, I put in the way from the moment of my salvation at 9 years of age. I put those idols before everything in my life. It was a rock band. I wanted nothing more than to meet those people and put all of my energy into that. The enemy made certain that all of those wishes were granted and it drove me deeper into desire for that instead of the Lord to fill me and also drove me deeper and deeper into dissatisfaction. 3 years ago I laid that at the Lord's feet and asked him to change my desire. Not only did He take that desire away, He gave me one for Him like I've never known in my life. The very fact that I could raise my hands and praise Him with those songs we lifted up this weekend could have only come from the Lord removing those shackles. Also, even though I new that those 3 ladies were speaking truth many years ago, I had no desire to hear what they had to say, much less go to an event where someone was preaching truth like that. He alone gave me that desire and He has spoken directly to me in ways I never thought possible because I have let Him have His way.

I have in no way surrendered everything to Him, but I know as long as I'm breathing, He is still working. I am so thankful for this event and for the Lord never giving up on me and for the previous Grace that Kay taught on as well.

Praise the Lord for bringing me THIS FAR and for using Beth to show me that. I know this is extremely long, but I definitely received words from Him that I would have never thought possible just 3 years ago.

Slightly off topic here, but I must know where to get the skirt that Beth wore on Saturday. It was sooooo cute. I can't even describe the event in words....absolutely fabulous...sure would like to see assigned seating in the future though.

It's so amazing to read the comments from the Nashville siestas! I've got tickets for the Atlanta '08 Deeper Still and I can hardly stand the wait! I've already got my tickets and my two best girlfriends are going with me. I want so badly to go to the San Antonio Big Siesta meeting, but I'm not sure I can do two plane trips in one summer! I'm praying 'bout it 'cause our God is Able! I was prayin' for ya'll Nashville ladies everytime ya'll came to mind. And ya'll came to mind a lot Friday and Saturday and Sunday even. I love reading of your experiences there. My heart quickens to read of the power of God moving among the women of this great country of ours. Can't wait for Atlanta!

P.S. Did I say I CAN HARDLY WAIT! :o)

God is so good! I had been planning to be at this event for well over a year, coming up with my best friend and just being free to praise the Lord. Last week my 24 yr old step-daughter Jennifer almost lost her battle with bulemia and anorexia. Satan thought he had won. She was hospitalized on Tuesday and her potassium level was not conducive with life. From a medical standpoint, she should have died. I watched her struggle Thursday night with debilitating cramps in both hands and arms, even her face was drawn from her body trying to get used to being given the nutrients it needed. Her body was in shock at a lowly 86 lbs.

As with any event like this, I fully expected God to show me all the things I needed to confess and fix in my life but on this particular day, He told me "I just want you to rest your mind and body and let Me wash over you with My Spirit and fill you up with My love. No matter what happens, I am in control of it all." He was so sweet and kind. And what about that music? Every song Travis and the team sang, it was just for me. Mandisa's music and testimony was just for me. El Shaddai was for me. The Word spoken through Priscilla, Kay and Beth was for me. The Rhema was came through loud and clear. There are no words to express how sweet God was this weekend. I had never been as free to worship and praise Him as He walks me through this storm. Thanks for your prayers. Beth, I sent you a prayer request in writing by the sweet girl in the praise team. (The one with the little baby) Would you lift my girl,Jennifer, up for me? I love you and I thank you in advance.

According to my friends at the Curb center, Priscilla said she got her jacket at TJ Max...
(Amanda, sorry if my previous comment was too much info.)

It was overwhelming. I am still floating after experiencing this banquet where God prepared a table for all His girls. Isn't that just awesome! God drew us to Him like a hen gathers her chicks in a storm. Thank You, God.
I missed the commissioning, too. We had no praise team after the Q&A session at the Curb Center and things seemed to just end. So off we went to head home.

For Beth & Jennifer,

Father in Heaven, pour out Your extravigant love on Jennifer. Rewire her emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally to be an OVERCOMER. Stand Your mighty angels over her, protecting her from the evil that seeks to steal, kill and destroy her. Thank You for ministering to Beth, her mom, through this event. Thank You that You SPEAK! Praise You, Father, for showering us with Your Spirit rushing before us before we even go in for battle. Thank You for sending Nashville rain! Amazing Grace, we will spend eternity forever praising You. In unison. Amazing.

And to Beth, Kay and Priscilla...the greatest compliment I can give you...my sister came with me and spoke these words..."I am convicted." Me, too. Thank you for your courage to share God's message to women who are hungry for His Word.

I went to the Deeper Still event with my mom. All I can say is wow! God is so awesome! I needed this fresh word from God. There were so many times throughout this weekend when I could feel God speaking to me.

Oh, and I'm one of the single girls that was in the crowd. So, thank you Mrs. Beth for giving advice to the single girls:) Oh, and Mrs. Beth, you can dance!

God Bless,
Chelsea

I am still in awe of what God did thiw weekend. I travelled to DS in Nashville with two of my dearest friends. We each one were carrying a different burden that the enemy was using to try to pull us away from Christ. Let me tell you that God showed up and spoke to each of us in a mighty way.
My friend Julie had just lost her mom 2 months ago from a cancer, a very quick and horrible death. Julie was angry with God and did not want to be there with us this weekend. I wathced her fridya night just sit in her seat and cry as Priscilla spoke. On sat am, we were just amazed as Beth said the words "when are you going to get over your devastation with God? When are you going to get over the fact that he did not physically heal your loved one even though you prayed?" Then she walked down off the platform and she said, do you hear me Julie? I don't know if anyone else heard that, but the three of us did. Perhaps it was our Rama word from God. My precious sister knew God was speaking to her. The floodgates opened, and when the end of Beths message came and Travis started with El Shaddai, precious Julie stood and sang to God with her arms raise to the heavens wroshipping for the first time in months. Thank you Beth, Priscilla and Kay, but most of all thank you Jesus for using these ladies as your vessel to speak to us and reach us right where we are.

It is so exciting to read how all these women are on fire for the Lord. My calling and desire is to see women find their complete satisfaction and joy in God. To the point of where nothing else in this world matters. I want to see people fall head over heels in love with Jesus. In John 17 Jesus prayed that God would give us the same love for Jesus that He has. Wow!! Imagine if we loved the Son the way the Father loves the Son. Ladies, it's time to change the world with the fire of God!!!!!

I would love to see Deeper Still come to Savannah, GA where there really needs to be a great revival!! If people could just taste and see that the Lord is good, they would come feast on Him!!! I'm ready to rock this world with the love of God.

Hi Amanda,

I was wondering if the commissioning or challenge from the end of Deeper Still would be posted here? It was so beautiful...

Thanks,
