Some Blog Business
I need to do a little survey if that's okay. Please use this post to tell me if you have been leaving comments that never show up. I approve 99.9% of the comments, so if you're having trouble with it, it's got to be something else. Unless you said something tacky. And I'm sure you didn't.

Amanda,
So far (after I finally figured out what Iwas doing wrong) mine have all gone through..It may just a fluke that some are not posting.
I think you are doing a wonderful job with the blog site...keep up the good work..it is wonderful to get to read all the different thingsgoing on, both in the lives of you and your family and the other people that visit the site.
again, keep up the great work and know we love and appreciate you and your Mom!

Hi Amanda,
I left a message on the blog entitled "Prayer Time at Newark Airport" but it never showed up. Just wanted to respond so you would know.
Blessings,
Jax
Amanda,
Yes, I have left 4 posts that have not shown up.
Thanks,
Laura
Thanks for sharing this! I left a comment after the Detroit conference and it never showed up. I'll have to admit that I did go over in my head again what I had written to see if it was anything that would have been taken incorrectly. I feel much better now! Anyway, I was at the Detroit conference and words cannot express how uplifting it was for me. I was there with a group of bible study friends. We were all wearing our "Break Free" t-shirts that one of the girls had made for us during that study. You can imagine my surprise when I watched the video of Detroit and there was one of my best friends, (you know the kind of friend who can eat lunch in my kitchen full of dirty dishes and toys), and I with our arms around each other singing a "friends" song. The weekend message could not have been more fitting for all of us. The best thing was that we got to take God home with us. Thank you for this blog. It is great to be able to pray specifically for you and your family. I am praying for your parents while they are away.
Thanks!
Heather (& Erica)
Ususally my posts go right through. I did have one or two that never appeared, but that was early on, and I assumed I did something to screw it up :)
My comments have appeared...however, I left a prayer request that never appeared and now I've noticed the prayer request page is non-existent. I'm sure this was initiated by ya'll, but just thought I'd mention it.
I have left comments that didn't show up and I'm pretty sure that they weren't tacky! I haven't taken it personally though. :)
Amanda,
When I send a comment I have to enter the word verification, my Google password and click "publish" and then repeat.(a different word appears to verify the second time) It always goes through but you have to keep entering the information until your comment disappears from the comment box. A few times, I've had to do it 3 or 4 times.
Just a thought as to why some might be having trouble.
Angela In Abilene
All my posts have gone thru....thank you and God Bless.
Amanda, I've only tried to leave a comment once and it was regarding Anna Nicole - I don't think there was anything offensive in it.
Yes, I left a post after participating in the simulcast in Vienna VA, noting that I've taken Beth to women in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center for the past 2 years [Jesus the One and Only] and it never showed up. Assumed I didn't post correctly. Will try using "anonymous" this time. What a blessing to have been present among 200 women in praise and worship of our Lord and a another good dose of learning from Beth. Eleanor Duffield emd901@msn.com
All of my comments have gone thru though I must admit I don't comment regularly...and that's HUGE for me...I'm a woman of many words!!
I love the blog it makes me feel like I'm finally getting to know my best friend and her family!! haha She is my best friend, right?! ;-)
Hi Amanda,
I replied to the "D-Day" post that your momma entered. It never showed up but I figure it was an error on my part.
If it happens again I will let you know.
The essence of my reply was a BIG thank you to Beth. She is the "real deal" in Christ. We see His glory in her life and we are encouaged to know Him more. She encouarages us to take Him at His Word and get to know Him too.
God speaks to us and if we seek Him we will find Him.

i only had one post that didnt show up but i think it is because i always have trouble with the word verification code! i never seem to get the letters right on the first try....maybe i have blogger-dyslexia:). not to mention i usually blog at night...not my most alert time. ok, no more excuses, maybe that was my one tacky post LOL!!!
thanks for all you do to keep this blog so fun and uplifting!!! you must be a great speed reader!
Around the third week in February I left two prayer requests on the prayer request board that never showed up, but I've never had a blog comment not show up........but, there was that time in high school when my date didn't show up....what was his name?......
Thanks so much for asking -- I've successfully left one or two, but one in the "Please More Spirit" session didn't make it.
you're doing a great job with this blog ministry! thank you for sharing your heart with us.
no probs here. I get that green line at the top that says something about awaiting blog owners approval.
I know there are times when that line never shows up...those are the few times what I posted did not appear.
I assume I didn't enter the word verification correctly.
This is the green typed sentence I seen when I know I did it right.
"Your comment has been saved and will be visible after blog owner approval."
I have had trouble getting my username and password to work properly. And typing in that word verification - I have had to do it 3 and 4 times in a row to get it to post. Or maybe you got it 3 or 4 times!? Sorry if that is what is happening!!!
LAUGHING MY HEAD OFF at those last two sentences.
That's all.
All the comments i've written have showed up, but it always asks me twice to type in the word verification and each time it's different letters. Not sure if that's normal or not.
I seem to have better luck when posting anonymously than when using my blogger id. I figured it was me!
But mostly my posts have gone through.
Thanks! - lynn
In addition to the 2000+ ladies that are praying for this trip please add an additional 24 ladies from Edmonton, Canada bible study. We are new to Beth's teachings and are excited to "be on board", thanks to my Beth Moore Live event that I attended last Tuesday (Wising Up. I was visiting my girlfriend in Houston and was invited to come along!! Such a wonderful welcome and precious time of worship and teaching. May God richly bless LPM and Beth's entire family. Y'all come up and see us in Canada, ya hear?
Val
I've only had two comments not posted. I assumed I said something tacky, I wasn't trying to. Although I didn't take it personally. I trust you and know that you are discerning in what you allow to be posted. Maybe what I did say wasn't tacky, but all the other ones I've posted have gone through.
Still love you,
Kristi
PS...Glad things are going well for your parents in Israel. I've been praying. By the way...the number of pink lipsticks your mom has keeps going up! It started out with FIVE now it's up to TWELVE! I want to know EXACTLY how many pink lipsticks she has in her purse! Hee! Hee!
Amanda,
Blogger.com gives info on why some bloggers may be having trouble posting. Type "word verification" in the search box and it explains "blog spam", server overload protection, and several potential reasons for trouble. (You may already know all this)
Angela In Abilene
Good to go here Amanda! Thank you for asking.
For the ladies that talked about having to enter the word verification code a couple of times, I *think* it may ask you to do that if it took more than a certain time period for you to 'leave your comment.' I know for me, there have been times when I'd start a post, and come back to it later...or I'd stare at it for a bit trying to figure out how to keep my chatty self from writing a novel! It's on those occassions that I've had to re-do the verification. I could be totally wrong though! Love you girls!
Each time I leave a post, I have to repeat and enter the different word as was mentioned earlier. Sometimes it looks like it might have gone through, but the little note doesn't appear at the top. Those never post, but I don't take it personally.... I think the Lord invented the filter to help me keep some of my thoughts to myself! haha..
All my comments go right through with no trouble.....however, I too have lots of trouble with the word verification code...usually have to enter it several times. Seems like that's a problem for several sistas.

Amanda,
I left a comment, but it never showed..I just thought I did something wrong or it takes time to show it :) since you have to proof read that first, which by the way- you're doing an excellent job!!!
so....hopefully this will show up :)
To be honest Amanda, I haven't checked to see. However, I will do so and let you know if I "appear".
Amanda,
Sometimes I have difficulty when signing in. I am not quite sure that it is not MY error...actually, it probably is! Thank you so much for working with this blog. I know you are super busy, but this blog is a major blessing!!!
I have tried posting twice lately and it had an error message show up. Hopefully this will not do the same.
I dont post very often but the ones I did have shown up. I also have to input the code twice and make sure it gives me the message at the top saying it's waiting for approval.
I've found that just using "anonymous" is much simpler. Although, I generally have to type the "word verification" thing twice before it states "awaiting blog owner's approval" too.

amanda-i too have to enter the verification word several times before my comment disapears from the box. (maybe i take too long?)a red alert tells me to input the scambled letters as tho i forgot the first time. i figured out no problem as long as i see the comment box emptied.
enjoy today!

Amanda,
I'm trying once again! Hopefully, this one will make it through! I do often have to type in the antispam word 2 or 3 times. I'd like to think I'm not typing the wrong letters each time, but maybe I am? Hopefully, the blog host can iron out the kinks for you.
You are doing a great job on the website...we appreciate your efforts SO much!
Kristen
Amanda,
Mine have shown up just fine...that you for all the work you do on this. I know it takes a lot of time, but I love knowing how it is going in Israel. Your mom's Bible studies have blessed our family so...I have a 16 year old daughter with cerebral palsy and one of her very favorite things to do is to sit in her wheelchair and listen to "Beth Moore" preach...she cracks us up by how much she loves to watch her. We have to TEVO Beth on Wednesdays...so she is loving the information I am giving her on what is happening on the new study. I am sure it will be at the TOP of her Christmas list. Anna Katherine loves people with a sense of humor and your mother is definitely FUNNY!!
Blessings to you,
Stacy
Let's try this...
hope it show up
it says will be visible afterblog owner approval...shall I check back then?
I second Angela in Abilene's post, I have had to enter those pesky leters for the word verification 2-4 times and then it will disappear and I get the green notice and I know my comment made it through. I just figured I kept hitting the wrong keys that by time the letters left my brain and came out my fingers they forgot what they were supposed to enter! LOL
Hello Amanda! Thank you for all you do in keeping up with this blog. I check in frequently.
I only posted one thing, on Valentine's day, and I have wanted to respond ever since; I just don't know how this all works.
I was (am) Weary. And I am blessed. I thought I would be blasted with judgement or "get over it" or that my not-so-positive comment would be "filtered" through rose-colored glasses and not make it to the blog. BOY WAS I WRONG! You guys rock! Really. Thank you for your prayers. You blessed me and my husband, whom I showed the blog. I still struggle with believing marriage can ever be good, but I know I'm not alone. And I know some of you can testify to God's deliverance of your marriage. So testify! I'm reading. Thanks for being examples of His love and grace. I so appreciate ya'll.
The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He awakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. Isaiah 50:4
Lord, I'm still listening. Teach me!
Hi Amanda-
My comments have shown up but in order to post, I have to first sign in the Google blog on the bottom page and then come back to post the comment. From here (this page)the blog says that it can't read my password, but in Google it can-very confusing. Thanks for doing this-you are so sweet for trying to help us all-
It must be a common thing to re-verify the words a few times. I to have had to do this everytime, but like others I am a virgin-blogger and just thought it was my mistakes. Everything I have posted has shown up and I do pray that I never say anything tacky, but please feel free to not post my comments if I do! I feel a little safer expressing myself knowing that it will be read by you first Amanda. Thanks so very much---My baby turns five next week but I still remember how busy a little one keeps you and I had plenty of help from my older children, so I know this blog is a sacrifice of precious time for you. God sees it all! I am sure He is pleased with you for your sacrifice. Enjoy your baby as much as possible because before you know it he will be off to the movies (driving himself) like my daughter is for the first time tonight! Sorry, just had to get that out y'all!
Love in our Precious Saviors Name
(and especially to all the moma's who know how I feel right now.)
Yes, some of my posts have not made it through, but I think it might be b/c of 'technical difficulties'--on my part:) But some have made it, so who knows!
God bless you and your family-you mean so much to so many of us. Thank you a million times over for sharing and giving to this sista, you are a blessing to me!
Hi Amanda,
I only posted once after Beth's prayer for marriages on Valentine's Day and my comments didn't appear. I'm not an experienced blogger, so I figured I didn't do something right, but I have so enjoyed reading on this site. Thank you so much for such a great job keeping us updated.
Dianne in Alabama
I believe all of my comments have been posted. I don't always look for them later on. But, the system seems to be working OK for me. A few times I have to type in the Word Verification twice, but that's no biggie. Please know that I have been praying for your mom, dad and the Lifeway team. We are going to do a three-part study of Esther during March. It just gives me goosebumps (Jesusbumps) that she's there for the festival of Purim. I can't wait for the completion of both the Psalms of Ascent (I was in Raleigh) and the Esther Study. We are so blessed by the work of God through Living Proof Live. I pray you are all blessed in return.
Amanda I do not see one of my post. I know the other day I was really having problems and then the next day it went through fine but it is not posted.
A sista from Houston
The only one that didn't go through was the D-Day one, so far the other 2 have been posted.
Sarah
Amanda,
I have had trouble getting a comment through so I am going to try again after reading the troubles everyone else had. I love reading this blog daily. I am keeping you all in my prayers. I attended the Detroit conference and was so incredibly blessed! I tried twice to leave a comment, and I have to say I did wonder if what I wrote was questionable when it didn't go through. I was thankful to read this post. So here goes, I'm going to try again.
Heather
Most of my messages have appeared. A few have not made it. Thanks for all you are doing!
All of my comments have posted, but like many others, only after I have re-entered the verificaion code a couple of times. I figured it was a time-limit situation...not that big of a deal to me, sweetie. Thanks for all you do to keep this going. I bless you and highly esteem you in the name of Jesus!
Amanda:
I have the same exact experience as "Angela in Abilene". It usually takes 2 -3 times comfirming the word verification. But, when the note screen is blank -- I assume that it takes.
All my posts have been posted doing it this way.
Thanks for all you do for us!!!
Terry in Tucson
Amanda, I left a post and didn't get posted. I'm new though so I wasn't offended.
I have read the blog only one time so this is my first time responding. Great work and glad to hear the trip is going well. I am one of the many praying so it's wonderful to hear things are going so well.
