Your Responses to PMS
OK, you guys have given me speaking material for MONTHS. Or at least once a month. You are the funniest things. I have a hard work week well under way but I jumped on line to see if you were engaging in the echo: Please More Spirit! I am happy to see that you are fully engaged. Your acronyms were hilarious.
Our dear Star, I join so many of your sisters in saying how sorry I am for such a tragic and complicated loss. I was just floored. We extend our love and compassion to you in the bonds of Christ Jesus. My Beloved Ones, I paused just a moment before I mentioned Star's prayer need because I am afraid to raise the expectation that I will always (or even often) be able to articulate specific responses on this blog. I will have to try really hard to keep this blog what it primarily is (a fun and personal way of connecting) in order to keep up with it. I think most of us can imagine that something like this blog could become all consuming and keep us from getting to the things God has called us to absolutely prioritize. I want to write a personal letter every time I see a personal need among your comments but I have to resist it or this will become a ravenous beast I can't feed. I have to keep in mind that we really do have a prayer board at LPM and every single one of those requests DO get lifted up before the Throne of Grace. HOWEVER, I simply could not overlook Star's need today. Please know that whether or not I mention something painful you wrote in your comments, I did hear it, feel it, and process it before the Lord Jesus. Know that I care so, so much whether or not you ever see such concern articulated. I dearly love you.
PS. Yes, Midol really works.

Beth,
Prayers are going up for you as you tackle this hard work week. I'm especially praying that your week will end on an enormous spiritual high note in Detroit! Words can not express the thrill and anticipation of this weekend. His Spirit confirms in me daily that this is going to be a weekend to remember! Until then, I'm praying you there!
Beth, I am so glad you mentioned that. I love to get to the computer and read the responses but it can also become an addiction if you are not careful. Sometimes when I have been on the computer for too long I will feel a nudge from the Holy Spirit reminding me of eternal things I should be doing.
Thanks for letting us in on your life a little bit more. It feels almost like we are at Starbucks getting to know you a little better.
My favorite acronym was the one Abby had for Keith...Pass My Shotgun!
Beth, thanks for sharing your concerns about the blog becoming a beast you can't feed. None of us want that to happen.
I think it is awesome that we have this media to connect.
God bless you, dear one.
Beth,
It is my prayer that you have the freedom to pop in to read our comments and not feel the need to respond.
I am so thankful you focus on what God had called you to do so we can reap the blessings of those anointed Bible studies you write.
It would be impossible for you to pray for all your "best friends."
Can hardly wait until we get to study Esther together.
See you in Tyler in two weeks and then in Bossier in 6 weeks!!!

Sweet Beth, I would dare say that most of us Sistas, if not all of us, feel so honored that you have chosen to share yourself with us via this blog, that it matters not in the least you are unable to respond as I know you would like. As thrilled as I was to see this blog up and running, I must admit my concern for you and Amanda that this would be a burden for you and keep you from keeping the "main
thing" the "main thing".
We all (us Sistas!) gather here because we are the fruit that has been born out of your obedience to God's call on your sweet life! We want to bless you as you have blessed us! So don't you concern your pretty little blonde head about us....just keep doing what you've been called to do....THAT will make us happy! And if this "blob" ever becomes a hinderance...girl you drop it like a hot potato!
Love you to pieces!
Tammie

Hey Beth - this is why i love you so much and have so much respect for you and what God is doing through you. Instead of just not addressing why you can't comment and leaving us to wonder if you care - you address it in such a wonderful manner. Us little gals - as i like to refer to myself - want so badly to know that the giants are real and do feel and do care. Because so many are wanting at you all, there naturally becomes a disconnect. But Beth - you open it up and are real and keep the connection. Thank you thank you thank you! You inspire me far beyond your wildest imagination! You rock! hee hee (I think i can still say that at 34.)

I "AMEN" Tammie's comment...Beth, we are blessed to share this with you, but so desire to keep from being any kind of hindrance to you or Amanda!! Hey, us sistas can carry on our own conversations, too!! But we must all keep from having to do "Breaking Free" from the blog!! Love you, Beth!!
Raleigh Sista!
amanda, another comment* Not For Posting*.....these were the concerns i was having when i mentioned the open line thing...concerns for Both you and Beth...i love you guys so much
I echo Tammie's comments. Well put!

Dear Bloggers and Beth,
As a former Internet addict (and nope, I don't mean that in a humorous way, I'm serious!) in recovery, I highly encourage you to keep the mindset you have about the blog, as wonderful and unifying as it is. When our main staple is Jesus and His Word, then everything that flows from that should keep us on course. I have so enjoyed and been uplifted by what I've read here, and I've also found much to think about and pray over, including "star"; I am praying for His glory, peace and purpose to be manifested through these difficult circumstances in your life. All the best ladies...!
Beth,
Thank you so much for all that you do. My prayer is that this does not become too overwhelming for you. Hopefully, everyone understands that you cannot respond to each of us personally and will just be thrilled if you ever do. You are such an inspiration to each of us and have taught us well how to trust Him and how to study the Word.
Love Ya,
Lisa
You know, I was thinking this morning about the blessing this blog has been to me...we all hunger for connection, don't we? Above all, I think this blog is a blessing for Beth from the Lord (a way to connect with those who are friends and sisters in the Lord). I have often heard you say, Beth, how hard it is to maintain friendships in these busy years of ministry...but the precious heart of God for you wants you to know that you have so many friends who love you and and want ot bless you (alright, we're also like a bunch of kids trying to see who can make you laugh the hardest!). You bless us right back! I hope that you feel the Spirit of the Lord pressing you on in laughter and joy.
You're in my prayers this weekend...may God's Words flow through you as you go.
In His Love,
Holly Smith

AMEN and DITTO to my SISTAS!
Mama Beth--
You bless us way too much through your obedience and steadfast heart for the Lord for us to EVER expect you to do even MORE! We would be hindering you from the very thing that makes you who you are to us in the first place!
So you GO GIRL. DO the thing. Stop in when you can. And KNOW that inbetween visits, you have left permanent Jesus-shaped footprints on the hearts of your very own PMS'n, deliciously ditzy, hair-dyin, coffee-lovin, capri-wearin, Mexican-fanatic, SISTAS in Christ!!! WE LOVE YOU! :)
Beth, at risk of sounding cliche and trite, you have been the mentor for me that I prayed for, the constant source of exhortation and counsel that I needed to be free and to believe God for that freedom. I grew up in a cult (worldwide church of God) and made some BAD choices, but I've always felt the mark of Christ upon me, even in the darkest times. Because of your faithfulness, I now TEACH a bible study for young girls in a residential treatment facility, and my 2 small girls know you buy voice and name:) You have given me the model I've needed to live wildly for Jesus, dancing with my girls, face to the sky, hands outstretched, trusting and believing in an almighty, personal, loving and soon coming King. Thank you from the bottom of my heart till I meet you in the kingdom.
His Princess, Kacey

My dear Beth,
I am so glad that you enjoy reading this blog as much as most of us do.
I want you and the LPM gals to know that Y'all are in my prayers on a regular basis. But for you, Beth, in particular, that the Lord would guide your work, and bless your socks off, but also that He would help (or highly encourage) you to take advantage of some restful periods with Him, too.
I think it would be fun to see you blogging with us even once a week, as I know that you have other more pressing work to do than to "play" on here with us "sistas", but I sure have been enjoying "hearing" from you in this "new way" for now anyhow.
I am praying especially hard for the Living Proof Live Simulcast Event that will be taking place on Feb. 24th. There is a church nearby me hosting the event, so I will actually be able to take part in this event. Hurrah!
As a former volunteer for the LPM Prayer Team on Tues. nights in Houston, I have asked to be able to be take part in praying over the seats in the sanctuary where I am going to be watching from here in Wisconsin. Know that even if they choose not to allow me to do exactly that (as I am not a member of that particular church), I will be praying for the dear ones who will take those seats, and also for you, for the Spirit of the Living God to rain down His Word to you and through you, and for all the electrical equipment where you will be, but also for the equipment in all the other locations, as well.
My dear Beth, I pray that you do not have to worry your little head off about any little thing that day.
Just imagine how many prayers are going up to the Throne of Grace on your behalf already. Let that "fall" upon your sweet shoulders...
I have a feeling that the Lord is gonna do great and marvelous things with that book AND with this live event! I DO so believe that it is "on His Holy calendar" ! :)
Love in Christ,

Beth,
Boy are you one wise lady. I think were I you, I would burn myself out like a light bulb trying to be everything to everyone. I am an encourager like you and sometimes I fall down weeping at all the people I cannot touch. I want to help them all. I want to bless everyone who's path I cross, and the paths two feet away, and the small bike path ten feet west, and the highway three miles north!:) I have to be reminded by the Lord that I can only do what He gives me. I can only touch those He has called on me to encourage. I remember you speaking on this in your Breaking Free study. I also feel that sometimes I try to minister to those that the Lord has prepared someone else for. Despite any ability I have, if it is not ordained, it is just plain not RIGHT. I know you are a woman of prayer, and I know the Holy Spirit will prompt you as the Father wills, and I know we all feel ( even if it hurts just a little because after all we're all a little starstruck sometimes) we wouldn't want it any other way. I lift you up sister, the mantle of leadership, even that called by the Lord can be hard to wear. I thank you again for your humility, and encourage you to continue seeking the will of the Lord God Almighty. Way to go! Julie B, Tucson
Amanda,
Please don't post this. :)I just want to thank you for all of your work moderating. It must be a bear to shuffle through all of these responses with all that you already do, but I just want you to know you are doing a terrific job! Really terrific. Thanks for your encouragement to women of the kingdom, it's a real blessing. This forum is a place of sweetness. Great idea. Julie B. Tucson
Amen Amen Amen - to what my sistas have said -
Beth - you just keep walking in the Spirit as you have been - that's what we really want you to do. And if this blob is not where He is leading you then RUN from it Sista!
It has been sheer delight and pure grace for me. thank you!
Girlfriend, please! Do what you do and stop worrying about us. We can babysit ourselves. We're just thrilled when you can pop in and say, "Hi!"
Last night I was in our ladies Bible study at church. We are on week 8 of Daniel. A couple of us shrieked and shrilled as we recounted that we have found your blog and then I said that I had even posted on it. A friend in the class, said she just was too nervous to post on your blog, she just couldn't decide what to say. I also wanted to know if I was being counter productive to the message of the first 6 weeks of Daniel by wondering what cute outfit you are going to be wearing for the next segment, your clothes are so fun!
Thanks for allowing God to use you in a way that brings Bible study to our hearts in such a meaningful way.

Beth - tammiefay couldn't have said it better! No hindrances allowed! :-) We need you to be on track!
On a lighter note...
This week I noticed the sign outside of White Castle... "Now accepting reservations for Valentine's Day"
Is that not the funniest thing ever??? :-)

Have a great week!!
The blog is wonderful and I am loving hearing from you and others' comments. Don't worry one little bit about being able to respond. We all know that's not what this was intended for.
Our ladies will begin "Jesus the One and Only" tonight and we have 25 signed up. Please keep us in your prayers. This is our seventh study to do. Love ya!
Beth,
I am glad you mentioned Star because I did not see her post. I have prayed for her, so thank you! Thank you for sharing with us in here and we understand that you can't comment on everything. I am just glad God has given this avenue for you! I will be praying with my Sistas about your work week and your conference in Detroit. I always pray that God will do something different at each conference that will blow your minds!! May each lady going be touched by God the way they need and may their lives be blessed beyond measure!
So, I drive for a living, my cell phone has the internet....you get where this is going. Problem is, I can read all the posts but can't comment. So, each day by the time I get home I have my comments perfectly planned, then I get here and everyone has already said anything I could have thought of. All I have left to say is DITTO. We understand your time constraints and are beyond blessed that you take the time you do to speak truth to us through this blog. And fear not, internet surfing aside, I'm a pretty decent driver.
Beth and Amanda , I just returned home from being at the National Pastor's convention in San Diego with my husband. I thought I'd catch up with the blog to see what I missed. I laughed about the lipsticks all starting with "P". Funny! At the convention, I meet Anthony Evans. I think I scared him with my enthusiasm . I said,"I will see you in San Francisco next month with your sister!" He had a puzzled look on his face. I said,"with Beth and Travis!" He said," Oh, Oh ,Deeper Still!" I replied, "YES! I can't wait!" Then I realized that my excitement was a bit much! He was very kind, but I'm sure He walked away thinking,"What a strange women!" Anyways, We are asking God to "delight" us in S.F.(we start Beloved Disciple tonight!) Blessings and safe travels.Thank you both for the Fun! p.s.Beth, see you in S.F. I'll be the one with the pink lipstick!
Beth, Tammiefay and Leigh Gray expressed a response so much better than I.
:)
Last Wed. night we began Believing God as one of our Bible study choices at church. When passing out the blue bracelets, one lady looked up and said, "I wash too many dishes at the resturant to wear this. Do you have a longer one that I can wear around my neck? Of course!... Just wanted you to we have created the "sanctification" necklace. What ever works!
Connect when you feel led and we will all do internet high fives when we see you and Amanda post a new post for the day. I really can't explain how much I enjoy coming here and also reading other blessing off the LPM Website! It's a treasure...one of those really wholesome pleasures that feel so good.
Also, to all of our Anonymous Sistas:
Can we name you a color or something? How about anonymous magneta, anonymous lilac, anoymous peach? Think about it.
Beth,
Ditto what Lucy said!
You have not only connected with us but you've connected us with each other. Went over to BooMamas Blog today and saw that they were starting a book club. Their first book is "Get Out of That Pit!" I started the book yesterday and am almost done. (could hardely put it down) AWESOME!
Anyway, I'm going to start my own blog so I can participate in some of the fun bloggin things all the Sistas do. I did not even know what a blog was 2 weeks ago! You and Amanda Intoduced me to your blog through the online "Believing God" study.
Thanks for the connection to many wonderful Sistas!
Angela in Abilene
Beth,
You are a peach! We all love you SO MUCH. And we believe you when you tell us that you love us so so much! We are all BEYOND THRILLED that you are willing to share a little piece of yourself with us. I'm sure I speak for all of us, sistas, when I say, I can't even beging to imagine having your life. I've pondered it MANY times. Let's see. She writes Bible studies, has a Tuesday night Bible study at her church for 3,000 women, has a husband, two children and a grandson, writes books and does her "Wednsday's with Beth". Not only that, but you also travel AT LEAST twice a month to do conferences. How do you even have time to sleep? We just want you to keep doing what God has asked you to do. PLEASE don't put too much pressure on yourself because of this blog. You're only one person, after all. Like I said, I can't imagine having your life. I want you to know, though, that I'm in LOVE with Jesus because I caught your fire and I can only pray that other women will catch the fire that I've caught from you. Since high school, I've had such a heart for women. Like you, it's not enough for me to be free and to love God with all that I am, I want EVERYBODY to be free and to love God with all that they are. You are beautiful, Beth. Inside and out and WE ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
Dear Beth - I heard something tonight and felt I needed to share it with you and my sistas! There were a lot more words around it but the basic teaching was this -to pray to reach a point where we are indifferent to anything but God's will. To reach a place where we desire it alone -"nothing more, nothing less and nothing else." May it be so for all of us.
Blessings to all - Lynn
Beth- we LOVE YOU regardless of whether you post or not!! Being as sanguin as you, I know you want to reply to it all... and can't! We love every bit of insight you give us- however often or much!! Keep doing what Goad blessed you with- encouraging us SISTAS in christ! Love ya- Jackie
Beth and Amanda, please do not worry about us "Sistas!" on this blob thing! I believe I speak for all of when I say, that this blog has been a blessing, and being able to hear from y'all on regular basis only strengthens our bonds as spiritual sisters. I love it so much that I even created my own profile and blob!
thankyou for pointing out "stars" request, i glimpse through this occasionally and saw your note today and found her comment and feel so heart broken for her..
star, if you read this, you're in my prayers, draw near to the Lord and HE will draw near to you.. it sounds so simple, but in something as tragic as this He can seem really far away.. a really close friend of mine was killed a little over a year ago in an apartment fire at her school.. i don't understand losing a parent, but I do know that losing someone in a tragic way can throw alot of things at you. satan will throw everything not nailed down at you, He did with me, and I was blinded by guilt, and nightmares of her, I wasn't able to sleep, and ended up falling into a depression & completely shutting down emotionally.. I ended up feeling really ashamed that I was angry or mad and felt like I couldn't bring that to Him (stinkin legalism). I have learned through this, that God is a God who sits by you, and just holds you, at all times, he doesn't leave, he doesn't have other things to do, his main interest is you, and holding you, and loving you. He lifts your head, and brings you to your feet, he sings over you as you sleep, and battles out whatever your feeling with you, he shields you from satan, and is the ultimate provider, protector and friend.. He has shown me the true meaning of faithfulness.
Sorry to have rambled, I just want you to know that whatever you feel, God can handle, nothing is too crazy for Him, he will pick you up each day as you walk through this.. Worship music always helps me, down load Bebo Norman's " I will lift my eyes" and Selahs "Faithful One" also, Nichole Nordeman has a new song called "Sunrise" those all have really ministered to me.. Again, while I don't understand what it's like to lose a parent, and can't imagine, I just want you to know you're not alone, and I committ today to keep you in my prayers.. it's hard to get over things like this, but I promise, you will get through it.
Beth,
I will keep this short and sweet b/c you are one busy woman...(I know busy...i have 4 kids and one busy hubby)....
I know you hear this often...but thank you. THank you for surrendering to your Father daily...and thank you for making that so real...so we can identify...I bought your new book today...for my girlfriend and I to read and talk about together. Ohhh the journey that I'm sure I've openened myself up to!
My journey has had me persevering like Moses in the desert for the last few years...and praise God he's blessed me so as a result of it...knowing that i cannot make it through one second without His grace-filled guiding hand.
Blessings -
Beth,
I have had a hard week myself teaching on the other side of the country from where I live, and my hotel bed is not so comfy anymore(it's way too big without my man along!)and they say the tornadoes are coming again tonight! I've passed my evening hours praying for your trip and teaching this weekend. I will be back in MI and on my way to Detroit as well on Friday. Can't wait to be there with all of you and praying that God will temper the weather so we can all arrive safely. God called us to MI not long ago to help start a church and share his love with many lovely people. Thank you for answering his call to do the same. We are looking forward to being with you and for a wonderful outflow of His Spirit.
Beth, I am so proud of you for even trying this blog. An addiction? Sure. What couldn't be?! Seems as though we all want you to feel free, truly free, to pop in and out of here as your time allows. Don't worry about us....we will entertain ourselves just fine. Moody? Not me! Not even when I apologized to my husband tonight for biting his head off multiple times yesterday....he just looked at me with that knowing smile on his face.....Mine is just a bad hair day. It ruins the rest of my day. It highlights all the other things that are wrong with my body, and as I approach 40, those "wrong" things keep adding up! BTW.....Beth....You've got the haircolor going on....it looks great....everytime I see it...I comment on it out loud (no one is in the room, usually). Keep doing whatever you're doing. That color is fabulous!
This is my first time to post. I've been lurking for a while. I felt led tonight to post and say how much I respect that you, Beth, know how to set healthy boundaries. I am blessed tremendously by your willingness to let Christ live His life in and through you. I'm praying for you! Can't wait to see you in Tyler, TX. Green Acres is my home church and I'm working as a volunteer at the event! Can't wait to see what God's gonna do!
My cousin "Saly Sister" got me hooked on this blog. I have never done this in my life but I am loving reading it every day. Star, if you read this know that I am praying for you too. I have lost a parent. My dad died when I was twelve and I just found out two weeks ago that my step dad of 22 years has leukemia. He has been in the hospital since we found out and will be. But, through all of the craziness I have found no safer place than in the arms of my Abba Father. My Daddy. My earthly daddy was my best friend and I felt terribly alone. I learned at a very early age that God is so faithful. Romans 8:28 and Joshua 1:9 are our family verses and I know that God has incredible plans for you and your family too. When my sister lost her 10 day old baby last year we claimed those verses again and also Jeremiah 29:11. God has great plans for you and they are not to harm you but to give you a hope and a future. Know that and rest in that. We love you with everything we have and are greatful that we have the honor to pray for you and lift you up during this hard time. "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." Need I say more? Thanks Beth for being you!!!
Beth,
Just wanted you to know how much a blessing you are for all of us and we do not in the least expect you to contact -even on the blog-each of us! you are God's gift and you taking the time to do this blog is so meaningful to me! you are an awesome lady and you have a way of making each of us feel so special! Thank you for being a sista!
love ya,

Thank you Beth, Amanda, everyone here who are praying for me. I most definitely feel the Lord's protection around me and the peace and clarity that only God could give. Without it.. I don't know where I would be.. what I would do to myself.
I love you all. Thank you so much for this blog and being so wonderful and gracious. My respect for you Beth is deepened everyday.
I echo jgm's comment: I've been online for a while, and had a blog since 1999, and had my own struggles with Internet addiction. I, too, highly encourage you to keep the mindset you have about the
'blob', as wonderful and unifying as it is.
I think what you're doing here is important: the Internet is part of God's world, not separate from it. But it's so easy to spend too many hours online. I pray you keep the balance you've found. Without guilt.
Praying with you for Star. What a sad time for her. Let us all take a moment to reflect on our own relationships and see if there is anything God would have us do to make them better. Life can call your number up so fast, I dont want to be left with "I wish I would have" What the other person does or recieves it up to them, But I want to do my part.
love you all sistas
Lori from Florida
My husband was just talking with me several evenings ago about how he noticed an increase in my interest with the internet. Out of love he gently warned me how this could grow into an addiction if I was not careful. What he did not know was how I was feeling a check within my Spirit about the same thing. God has a purpose and plan for each of our lives. The enemy knowing this tries to distract us through every avenue even when it is good. So ladies, I have to admit to you how much I do enjoy reading your comments and being able to laugh especially during those down days. So like other things in my life that distract me so easily, I too must discipline myself in this area. My time spent with my Blogger Sistas is now listed in my planner at a scheduled time along with the rest of my plans for the day.
I love you Sistas...you add another sweet melody to my life. I may never get to meet you here on earth...but know this you are on my heart and in my prayers.
Thank you Beth and Amanda for allowing me to be able to communicate with other Sistas around the world.
Loving you Sistas in Christ,
The little gal in West Virginia

I'm writin' quick because I'm afraid comments will be closed before I'm done...and this is off-topic, but Beth, tomorrow I'm going to celebrate my one-year anniversary of being free of nicotine. It took me months--truly--of slowly slogging my way through Breaking Free and all the lies the enemy had lured me into believing. After over 25 years of smoking--and trying every other "method" of quitting, turns out the only thing that worked for me was Truth. I'm free of "that" pit! Does that make sense? (That was a rhetorical question ya'll!)
Sometimes the enemy still whispers in my ear that a cigarette will cure my aches, so I just ask myself which part of smoking I want back. Do I want the expense? How 'bout the stench? No, I know--what I really want is The Shame.
Obviously, the Lord has been in the middle of this fight--it's not my strength that holds me here.
But, seeing as how tomorrow is going to be a day of celebration for me, I had to raise an Ebenezer here and say, "Thank you, Beth--for your faithfulness to the Lord; for your obedience to His call. You are a part of my victory, and I'm so glad."
While I'm in the midst of another pit right now, I can see my standing stone. I believe I'll name it Elizabeth.
Thus far the Lord has brought me!
In His unrelenting grip,
trblmkrtess
I just need to wave to my cousin! If you don't come up with a nickname...I'm going to have to do that for you. hee he!
Can I just say that our relationship as cousins is much deeper. She married my cousin and is a dear darling friend and Sister! Our kids call eachother "Aunt"!
Our families have know eachother for years and the testimony she gave is right on! They are a strong family in the Lord. They have always given God the glory and have always pressed on. Praying for you and loving you.

i'm going through the crayolas to pick an absolutely perfectly-personal shade to use as an alias..until then...Krista a's comment, which is echoed by just about all us sistas, reminded me of bible study 2 weeks ago when Beth started SPEWING HER HEART all over us...A heart-spew here...a heart-spew there....and before you know it we've all got a bit of that heart-spew! I would have chosen the word GUSH instead of SPEW from a "writerly" point of view...GUSH does sound a lot "purtier" but when she was walking around up there her heart was justaspewing...it was not gushing! You all KNOW what I mean or to be more writerly: Y'all know what i'm sayin' ps. i am not addicted!...i just happened to be doing some research at BLB and snuk over here for a quick peek!!! and oh yeah i'll pass the crayola box to salty sister's cousin when i'm done!!!
For Star, maybe we can apply a different acronym using PMS...Pray more, Sistas! The amount of hurt in this world is staggering. A great way to focus on what really matters? Pray more, Sistas!
Ok, this has nothing to do with anything, but I'm so excited I had to share....!!
My girlfriends and I are taking a road trip to Detroit this weekend to see Beth. We had to settle for a hotel outside of town because the downtown hotels were all booked. I was reminded this week by a friend that God cares even about the trivial things of life. Well, I started praying for a downtown hotel room. Today I found a cancellation at the hotel RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE ARENA and was able to book a room there!!! It truly amazes me how God does care about even the little things of life like a hotel room! Thank you Lord. I can't help but think this is the hotel Beth and company will be staying at and think it would be an absolute riot to run into her on the elevator or something!! Maybe I should start praying for that to happen??!! LOL!
Thanks for letting me share!
Beth,
You've been an inspiration in so many ways- books, DVD's, Bible studies, etc.
Now you've done it again!
Your blog has inspired me and my women's director (I'm a Pastor's wife) to start a blog for our ladies to help get them connected. It's only 1 day old and already we are hearing from ladies that are not "plugged in" much.
Thank you!!
