A Miesta's Getting Married!
Someone very near and dear to all of us is getting married this weekend! Can you guess who? It's none other than our incredible Living Proof Live photographer, Rich, and his beautiful fiancee, Gretchen. Let's be praying for them this week as they get ready to join their lives together and celebrate with friends and family. Rich and Gretchen, I am praying for lots of joy and lots of peace for both of you. Blessings to you guys!

I am just so excited and had to share it with somebody~ so even tho todays post was about an upcoming wedding; I had to let you know.... I am a pastor's wife and we undertook a new postion recently that involved, church planting, well anyway to make a long story short- we launched yesterday~ we had 208 people at our very first service! Is it not incredible? I am still flying~ anyway, just wanted to share that, 208 people that may have heard about Jesus for the first time! May have seen church done in a new way for the first time! I am still amazed at what God is doing!
Congratulations to Rich and Gretchen! Keep Jesus as your foundation in all aspects of your marriage and He WILL bless you with love, respect, lots of forgiveness, a good sense of humor, plenty of tolerance and many other tools you will need to make it through this life. I pray that you have a long, joy-filled life together. Oh and that is one awesome couple/engagement/wedding picture!!!!!!

I am a photographer for fun and I am always touched by the tenderness in the pictures Rich chooses to shoot. They have such depth and humanity. I know that is talent, but I also know that is proof of a good man. I pray they will be blessed with love forever.
I LOVE more than most things, to see a good man and a good woman find love. We so rarely hear about it anymore and I'll tell you what, it does something to the soul. We were meant as Christ's followers to long for what is right and when we see it, do we not feel our hearts burn!

Congratulations! Did he shoot his own engagement picture? I loved interacting with him in San Antonio, even if he did come up with the goofy "jazz hands" for our group! (Smile!) May God bless them both, he sure has blessed me with his video's and pictures from all the LPL events! Thanks Rich for all you do to open our eyes to the lives of all the other women out there! You are a true Miesta!
Enjoy every moment of the ceremony, and then your lives together. And apparently, great female brains think alike - who in the world is going to take his pics. And, of course, we would welcome seeing any that he would like to share. Because we're women - and that's what we do!

I want to offer Rich my apologies for being a bit creepy this past weekend when I told him congrats (before this announcement). He is marrying my friend's friend's cousin (Gretchen). I know - bad country song! And I know my congratulations came out a bit weird.
We are very happy for both of them! Thank you, Rich, for using the amazing gift that God gave you! And I promise I'm not wierd - just a pastor's wife with six kids - okay, a little weird! :-)
