Rowdy in Rhode Island

My Beloved New England girls who attended the Rhode Island Living Proof Live event this weekend,

I have cried with the Lord in gratitude and great joy for you several times this morning (i.e. every time I really think about you again or picture your darling faces). I'm not even kidding. Even now I have such a lump in my throat, but all the while I'm grinning with a deep sense of gladness. A few of many highlights: I will never forget the sounds of your voices when Travis had you sing without the team or the instruments. It was breathtaking. I'll never forget all those teenage girls who came forward to receive Jesus then, to top it off, at least a half a dozen senior adult women came, too. And will any of us EVER forget (I'm not sure how to spell her name) "Shana" with those darling pigtail braids, matching scarf and dress? She knew how beautiful she was to Jesus. Oh, that the rest of us would be so smart.

I loved every single one of you. It was literally the worst room ever (the arena in the area was under reconstruction. It was all we had) with all those terrible columns but you were patient, gracious and completely plugged in. In fact, you were down-right rowdy. (Hmmmmm. Is that what we can expect out of New England next fall?) I will keep you on my heart forever. Thank you for one of the best times I've ever had and for getting the message amid my scatter-brain, all over the place, throw-up "style" that drives even me crazy. God's power and Presence show all the stronger in weak environments, thank goodness.

New England girls, let's never forget our theme from 2 Peter 1. Here is the commissioning we did at the end to keep you reminded. For the many of you who were not there, take a moment to first read 2 Peter 1:1-11 and meditate on it and I believe you will still be blessed and challenged.

Rhode Island Commissioning

My Dear Sister
God’s Divine Power
Has given you everything you need
To do life and to do it His way
God has given you
Great and precious promises
Start believing them
And acting on them
When circumstances overwhelm you
Or people annoy you
Turn your faith into action
Dispatch what you need
From the holding tank of the Holy Spirit
And God will blow your mind
With what He can do through you
Never ever forget
You have been cleansed from past sins
Go FREE from this place
And live on purpose
Pour out your life for others
Then one day
When you close your eyes on earth
You will open them and see Jesus
And with arms full of riches
He’ll say, “Welcome Home!”
“Aren’t you beautiful!”
Now, go out into this world
And live like crazy!
Because your God
Is everything you need!

Hi Beth,

I had the extreme priviledge to be in Rhode Island with you this weekend. I'm still singing and am ready to "dispatch". The three friends I went with sang praise music all the way back to Philly! You are such a blessing!

Ministering to teenage girls is a burden I have had for a while. God confirmed this weekend that this is where he wants me to focus on in ministry. I'm starting by getting a group of girls to go to the Women of Faith Revolve tour in Philadelphia in November. I'm so in love with Jesus and I want Him to be their first love too!

You used my Bible at the conference to read Duet. 6:5-6 which was such a God moment for me. With four children of my own and many other children God has brought into my heart and life - I felt like it was kind of a comissioning for me. I'm crying as I type. He is Soooo good!

Thank you Beth for letting God use you!

Love in Christ,
Gail

That's really amazing to hear how great RI was because I've never been so led to pray for one of your events as I have that one. Keep in mind, I have only been on your prayer team several months, but still I felt I was praying "without ceasing" from Wednesday to Saturday night. Glad to hear it went so well.

WOW!!
Rowdy Rhode Island girls - when I was praying that is not what I pictured - haha
How wonderful that they were so on fire!!
I think one of my favorite things is when Travis lets all of the women sing without instruments ot the team - it is all I can do to keep from being face down on the floor!

I also love the commissioning it really touched me!!
God bless,
Kim

I don't know what a commissioning is but when I read this it brought tears to my eyes. WOW! I am not even sure what to do with it. But I felt so strongly when I read it that I should comment on the powerfulness of it. As a mormon I wish that we had more strong, grounded woman to point us toward God. I will continue to read this blog it's amazing!! Does living proof come to Utah? If so I would love to see them.

Thank you Princess Beth for your teaching and obedient heart in Providence. I was there, and you did stand next to me a couple of times. Travis and the worship team was awesome! Honestly GOD was huge in there, and the room soon was not very important at all..the message was very personal, and only God can take a message and make everyone of 4000 women find it personal. I heard endless testimony to the Power of God on my way home (tour bus), and spent part of the weekend with a missionary from Portugal, who uses your studies to teach women. Very incredible time!! God was showing off everywhere!! I got to meet Shelly and Travis, and tried to hook up a couple times with Stephanie, but I kept missing her
:( Your message seemed taylored to me, and still today the teaching is processing in my brain. It was a very long ride from PA to RI, but I didn't hear one complaint because we were all so blessed. Thank you for coming. Princss to Princess

And yes mam - the moment of hearing just the voices in worship took my breathe away. Did the Spirit not break down some walls and cause His people to praise our Jesus' sweet Name or what!??? Oh my heart...

He IS Everything to me...

Hi Beth,
I was there! WOW! What a time! Thank you and your team for coming to New England. I have a quick testimony...During the ministry time I huddled with my group and we prayed with tears over my precious mom who has been an alcoholic for a long time. Without going into detail she has been VERY distant from me for a while...I am ashamed to say for the first time I looked at her with compassion instead of anger and I broke down and asked God to forgive me and to help her. I have felt hopeless for her for so long. My friend who was praying kept saying there was hope for her as long as she has breath...I didn't believe...I am ashamed...I called her today and she was crying...sobbing. She said she was sorry, although she didn't admit what she was sorry for she made excuses, but I do believe this is a start and that God is moving.

Thank you for explaining what goes on with the alcoholic. I knew, but I need to be told again...

Thank you for being led by the Holy Spirit and laying your life down for your sisters.

I Love your heart...I love YOU!
Your Sister in Christ

Thank-you for the commissioning Beth. You know, I had just re-highlighted that section of scripture in the last week from a devotional time I had. And yet this afternoon, I read it again and shook my head... It was like reading it again for the first time. Thank-you again and again for your steadfastness to The Word of God and for reminding me to do the same. Very great and precious promises...Thank you Jesus!

Hey Beth!!
Thank you so much for coming and sharing with us in New England!! I will never ever forget it, and the message you gave. What an awesome time, and what a beautiful vessel of the Lord you are!!

I asked on last night's Blog if there were a way to get the commitment we shared (one of the hardest thing I ever did) but so needed for my fearful soul, and I signed in this morning and there it was. Thank you, thank you. May God give you hours in the day that don't even exist, as you so unselfishly share and give to us all.
Blessings,

I have truly been changed , and know can walk out as a true WARRIOR for God....

It was a great joy to experience His presence with you! I don't ever want to recover from this weekend!:) My precious siesta Beth -I love you! You have truly demonstrated over the past five years of studying with you how to love Jesus with all my heart! All praise and honor and glory be to GOD! My prayers are with you!

Dear Beth,
THANK YOU for coming to Rhode Island. I had prayed for this event and I brought 7 ladies from a new church plant to the event. They had never been to anything like it and none of us have quit talking about it. My husband asked them to share this morning in service about the event and it humbled me to hear what the Lord has done in their lives in the short time that we have been here. We were thrilled when it was announced that you would be coming back next year and we all plan on coming and bringing more with us then. It always amazes me the different impressions and lessons that people receive even though each person heard the same English words. If all 7 of us were given the chance to comment on all that we learned, we would be talking a very long time!
Thank you again for coming. We thank Travis too because the music was incredibly worshipful and the event wouldn't have been the same without his gifts as well.

I was at the conference and it was wonderful. Last year I attended the one in Maine and thought has she been reading my journal. And this time I think you were in my van with me and my girlfriend. You so touched the areas of our life that we were struggling with. I brought 6 of my friends that have never been to one of your conferences before. We came away from this conference different from when we got there. I am so praising God!!! for you and your ministry. I am so looking forward to next year when you will be in New Hampshire and Vermont. I live in NH and am very close to the border of VT.
I just loved Shana. She is so beautiful!!! And the 44 ladies that came forward. Praise God!!!

Beth, Travis and all His servants,

This was only my second time attending one of your events and if I wasn't hooked before, I am now! Last year there were only 5 of us that went; this year we dragged 11 and next year I hope we'll have to rent a bus! God always speaks if we have ears to hear. We prayed for miracles to happen over the women that went with us and I believe in faith that He will work out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will.

We so wanted to get your attention at the conference! We came from Downeast Maine, a 7 hour drive and it was well worth it! We saw you for the first time last year in Lewiston, ME. Please come to Maine again sometime! We will see you next year in NH.

You will never know this side of heaven the impact your willingness to serve in this way has had on thousands of women and consequently thousands of husbands, children, friends, etc.

P.S.
You asked a question Saturday morning about what we learned Friday night. My friend said she learned this:
"Always take a flashlight with you to the bathroom."

Hi Beth,

All I can say is Wow! I had the extreme honor to attend the RI conference this weekend. I have never been to see any Christian speakers before, and boy did I pick a great one to start with.

From start to finish you were truly inspirational. During the last song before break when you invited us to come up to the front to accept Jesus for the first time I sooooo wanted to come up. Tears were streaming down my face and I really wanted to, I just couldn't get my feet to move. As soon as we began break however, I marched right up front to get some healing. Crying like a baby I poured my heart out to your prayer team member and together we prayed. It was a breakthrough moment for me. Today I feel such peace because I know "that He will work it all out".

Thank you, thank you, thank you for being YOU and doing what you do. Thank God for showing you that this is the ministry He wants for you.

I'll NEVER forget this weekend, Beth, I believe it has changed me forever.

He has given me EVERYTHING I need to live life, and live it HIS way!

with much love,

Donna from RI

Thanks so much to Rich Kalonick for the pictures and for the video. After viewing the video it is easy to see our God was all over that place. He was on the face of each dear one attending. In the smaller venues, Beth, I love the freedom you have to walk out among the croud and hold a baby, cradle the face of another, and the opportunity you had to greet Shana with a holy kiss as she came to Christ.

The video ushered me to the feet of the Lord in gratitude for His touch, His tender care on each of our lives.

God uses the videos as a tool to keep on blessing each time it is viewed....kind of like the Energizer Bunny it just keeps on blessin. Thanks so much for giving us a glimpse of God's hand in that place.

Love in Christ,
Mary

Dear Beth, Beautiful Servant of the Lord,

I stumbled on to your Pit book only months ago and have spent most of the summer listening to your golden voice on the CD version of that book while driving around in the car. Only weeks ago did I discover that you were coming to Providence (yea! I'm a rowdy Rhode Islander). So with single ticket in hand, I went to the city not knowing what to expect. God was all over the circumstances that led me to you and Travis this weekend. He wanted me there. But you know that! Thank you for bringing me His gifts. I am so filled up! I will NEVER RECOVER!

So grateful for you, your ministry, your family who support you in this work. Can't wait for your return to New England!

God bless you. GOD BLESS YOU!

To My Dearest Siesta Beth,

I just love you so much and can't thank you enough for coming to Rhode Island.

I'm one of the "Princess's" from NH...and I had an incredible time with all my NH Siestas as we got a chance to get to know one another.

Your right the convention center was not great but I don't no if there was one women their who really cared. I thank Jesus for the Holy words he breathed over and through you. You touched on so many important truths for us to hear and gave us God's tools to get through anything and EVERYTHING.

What an absolute blessing it was for me to be there and to see all those women come down the rows to accept Christ as their savior and be welcomed into "our" family. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking of it. God is so stinkin good, I just can't stand it!!

Lastly, I just want to add how incredible it was to worship with Travis and his team. When I went to L.P.L. in Maine it was just Travis and his guitarist... what an amazing treat it was for everyone to be there in RI.

Thank you Beth for being "Living Proof" of what God has done and continues to do for you.

Your Siesta in Christ,

Good morning everyone:)

I wasn't there, Lord, I wish I was, but the awesome thing is I have from now until March to pray that God totally shows up for the conference I will be attending in Jacksonville.

I loved the studies, but more than that, I love that I have had a chance to be blessed with so many siestas that have appeared out of the blog:-)

I started my Disciple class at my church; and I am really excited about it; I want so much to learn more of the word, and more than just from your studies; I want to learn how to really read the bible on my own; I do love the studies, but I think you know what I am saying:)

Be blessed my Siestas,

Our weekend service centered on it...now I come to your blog and you've got a message asking us to meditate on it. Sometimes God is just outright blatant about what He wants to teach us, isn't he? I have tears pouring down my face and my heart is so comforted as I have been reassured that the Shana in my life is in the Lord's hands and care till she meets Him in glory someday. You see, after being her foster Mom for 18 years, I have just this past month had to release her into other care, as her and my health demands increased. The Lord orchestrated that part of your clip for sure for assurance and healing to my heart. Thank you for this hug from the Lord after the most intense summer I have ever had with other major life issues also - I am thanking the Lord also for Beth's reminder and commissioning of 2 Peter 1:1 - 11, as that was the Scripture used to honour the legacy of my dear godly mother at her heavenly home-going. Thanking Jesus, and you Rick and Beth and the awesome Team.

What a blessing to see so many sisters who - given we're on completely different corners of the nation - I'll probably never meet during my days on earth. But my, heaven is going to be SO MUCH FUN -- and eternity ought to be just about enough time to get to know everyone real well. I can't wait.

My dearest Beth,

Your ministry has truly touched us all in RI. It's fantastic to see God use the music and message for each of us personally. I couldn't wait to share my key learnings with my husband so I spilled it out over the phone Saturday afternoon on the drive home. PRAISE GOD! What an answer to prayer. My husband needed my absorbing your message and then passing it on to him in order to "Break Free". He is on his way to a changed life in Christ. Halleluiah!

In Christ Alone,
Linda

Dear Beth,
I am one of the Princess' from NH that was "Rowdy in Rhode Island" (very fitting name!) There is so much to say about this event that I don't even know were to begin or how to tell it so I won't. I will say,THANK YOU for coming to New England and bringing Travis & his whole worship team! This comment is very "lame" but you just don't know. Maybe some day I'll be able to write it down. SORRY- you REALLY DO love us don't you? And if you love me this much I can't imagine how much God must love me!

With lots of love,

Tears brimmed in my eyes as I read this commissioning & scripture. Once again, God has used you, Beth, to drive home His point to me in a specific situation He & I are dealing with this very day. He knows I 'get' you and He's been using you to make sure I 'get' Him for over 8 years now. Hallelujah to our amazing God! Oh how I love being His child!
Thank you once again Beth. I love you.

Mrs. Beth (or her scattered-on-the-floor pages of notes) or my fellow siestas

Question: What was the 'subtraction' part of 2 Peter 1 regarding?

I attended the conference, but was there after 21+ hours of driving by myself for a move up here for seminary. Maybe I was zoned out when you discussed it, so please forgive me if so! But the Spirit is not releasing me from it. I've been reading over the chapter, and had some ideas, but wasn't sure where the Lord had led you with it. I promise I am more than thankful, joyful, and humbled about what the Lord led you to deliver to us, but He's been pressing this one upon my spirit, so I thought I'd be obedient. I don't want to break blog etiquette, but I posted it on here in case another siesta was there and could tell me. So don't worry about having to answer necessarily :)

Grateful to not be over Him
Love y'all

Ok, I am writing this for the second time because my 3 year old just pressed the Esc button after I had painstakingly written a letter of thanks to you Beth. I am a Rowdy RI girl (actually Massachusetts). Well, since there is about a 90% chance that he will get to that button again before I finish..... Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love being your sister in Christ, and was tremendously blessed as a harried mother of 4 escaping the madness for a few hours of recharging. What I will hang on to.... Deut.6:5,6 will be posted on my new little homeschoolroom this fall. God pointed out to me: "On Christ the solid Rock i stand - all other ground is sinking sand" Staying in the word and out if the sand pit. I know many thousands of women have been blessed by your studies. Well, add me to the numbers. God has been bringing me to a place of healing for quite some time (10years) and He used Breaking Free to make the Break Through for me. I appreciate your honesty as I too was a victim of terrible childhood abuse. Thank you for your transparency and I thank God for the light that shines through your brokenness.
Well, I just had to use my quickest reflexes to save this message from another Esc. button catastrophe. Thank God for His ministry through you.

Sincerely,
Angie

I was there with 5 of my Liberian friends. Many of you so graciously greeted us since my friends' dresses did make us quite eye catching. It's so much fun to take them to events like this where everything is brand new, but the love of Jesus remains constant. My friends cannot read and only speak a little English. These older women sensed the spirit of Jesus and rejoiced with us all as we worshipped together. Even with their limited English, when I asked them what they had learned, they replied, "Jesus gives me everything I need." Truly these are women who have lived that as they came from a war torn world into the safe place we all call home. Thank you Beth for blessing us, and allowing me to share this with my sisters in Christ.

Beth,
My fellow Houstonian. I am a homesick Texan living in Connecticut (can't wait till you come next year) who traveled to RI to hear God speak through you this weekend. God has such a sense of humor as I lived in Houston my whole life, attended First and Second Baptist and passed up many opportunities to see you when I lived there. Four years ago He brought my family waaayyy up here to the Northeast and to my surprise HE lives up here too!! I was at LPL at the Meadowlands in 2005 and now in RI. If you can stand another "God non-coincidence" -- the girl I came with this weekend and I went to High school together in Houston and we met doing The Patriarchs at church this past spring in CT. Who says God is not a master weaver of beautiful, amazing tales. Thank you for a Revival in RI in every sense of the word.
Thanks y'all for an awesome time.

Hi

I'm a nice quiet English girl, who married a Rowdy Rhode Islander and moved here....!

This weekend was amazing and I know all the ladies in my church who went would say the same!

What did I take home? Among many other things, that I need to stop living in the shame of my former life of habitual sin and hold my head up as a daughter of the king, knowing that one day He really will look at me and say, face to face, "Aren't you beautiful?" (yes, that would be when I cried on Saturday!)

And as for those 42 new believers....theres nothing like seeing that for giving you back a right perspective on what is important!Whoooohoooooo!

So thankyou Beth, from one former pit dwelling siesta to another....and Travis and the team, you ROCK!

Wow! I was In Rhode Island, and words cant even express the healing I received! My friends and I talked, and sang the whole way home to Pa. We also now know a wonderful signal to each other for whenever we are overwhelmed. We just put our hands our and wiggle our fingers - "Come get me, Lord!" My group and I especially liked the song that goes like this - "Jesus, He can move the mountains, My God is mighty to save, He is mighty to save...." Does anyone know if that is on any of Travis's cds? I am thinking it is new, bc I have all of them, and havent heard it before. Will it be out soon?

Dear Beth,

I was so touched by the picture in the video of you kissing the downs syndrome girl on her forhead. WHAT A SWEETHEART! What WAS her story? SO, SO touching. It made me think of my sister, who also has DS, and what a crack up she would be if she ever met you on stage with that many people watching. She would have you and the entire stadium of ladies rolling with laughter all over the floor. Maybe my sister will come with me to the Minneapolis event next July. Her name is Tanya!

Howdy from one of the Rowdy!

Thank you, Thank you for letting me be rowdy for my King! Before I knew Christ I was a rowdy girl, now I'm never quite sure what is okay. I love being able to express my joy fully!

The Rhode Island conference was incredible. I remember feeling this huge lump in my throat everytime one of the 42 woman passed me on the way to giving their life to Him. The Spirit was SO present in that place.

Beth, you are truly inspirational and annointed by God. It has been very difficult for me to talk in Christian circles about my life prior to Jesus. I too have a story that would create permanent curls in some people's hair! Thank you for being so transparent. In some ways, I feel a huge weight lifted off of me. I know I can live a genuinely free life standing in the Light of the Love of my God. Can't wait to see you in NH!

I will never be the same!

Oh, my keyboard was out of commission for the last 2 days, and I've just about had the shakes to be able to post here.

I was totally blessed this weekend to hear you for the first time in person this weekend. I drove about 4 hours from NJ with 2 other beautiful, godly women, and we had a blast! Beth you humbly bring the Word to us in such a way that I feel like I know you and your heart for Him. You are so open, honest and REAL--thank you!

The northeast is not the most 'Christian' area of the country. It was so wonderful to be filled up and commissioned to continue to be a light to this dim area. I can't wait for you to come back again next year. (And if you think we were rowdy in RI, I think it might be even more so along some of your other stops next time. He, he, he :)

Thank you for serving our great God!

Thank you for sharing that video with the song Lord, You're Holy playing...that song is so
incredibly powerful!
It might have been you, Beth, that told the story of a little boy that went to Sunday School and came home talking about all he had learned and his mother asked him what his Sunday school teacher's name was and he looked at
her and said, "I don't know but I think it might have been Jesus' grandma because all she
talked about was Jesus."
That story has stuck with me for several years because it reminds me that if I am really doing
my job as a "Sunday school teacher, Bible study leader" they won't remember my name because my name doesn't matter but HIS name is what sticks!.
I say all that to say that I heard that song for the first time when you were in Detroit last February and I kept telling people "you have to hear the new song Travis sings." Well one day as I was listening to it for the hundredth time it dawned on me that Travis would have a hard time singing those high notes...I was at Detroit...I saw the girl sing
the song...I heard the notes...but all I really heard was JESUS! That is how it should be!
By the way, my sister-in-love received Christ as her Lord and Savior during that weekend
too...PRAISE HIS MIGHTY NAME!

Dear Beth,
I know it's been said thousands of times..(41,000 in this instance) but again, THANK YOU for coming to RI!
I want to share a testimony of the power of the Holy Spirit during the call to commit and re-commit lives to Jesus Christ. In all of my 23 years of attending Christian Womens events I have never experienced this...
I decided to go to the ladies room at the onset of the alter call in hopes of avoiding a line but one had already begun to form so as I waited in it, the women there continued in their praise and worship praying for those about to go forward and as the line moved forward, it did so with uplifted hands and song. As I entered the doorway, the singing did not cease. The song was being sung in the stalls and continued over to the wash basins and back out the door only to witness women still in line with tears streaming down their faces and singing...Not ONE bit of conversation to be had! In the Ladies room! I have never witnessed such a move of unified "entering in". He truly is EVERYTHING WE NEED!
Bless You!

I can only pray that this reaches your eyes. I attended the powerful weekend in Providence. I had been yearning for encouragement and renewed faith and I definitely found it! I am 27 weeks pregnant and my water broke on Sunday after attending your event. I don't know that I'd have the strength or the faith to go through this if I hadn't have gone. You were so inspiring and I know that God has equipped me with EVERYTHING I need to keep this baby inside my body as long as needed and to believe that she will be healthy and happy as soon as she decides to join this world. Thank you so much for beins so inspirational and reminding me to LET GO AND LET GOD. Thank you for your heartfelt outreach to other countries, especially to the children, it just blessed my heart to see what you and your wonderful team are doing.

Dear Sister,
Satan knew something was up...the week before you arrived my daughters and I commented on how things were "weird"--from increased road rage to angry customers at work. The spiritual forces were preparing the way and the enemy was NOT happy!
Thank you for bringing the refreshing Living Water to this spiritually thirsty place we call home: New England. It's tougher than ever to live-out the life God has called us to here in a land (New England) where you are in the minority if you attend church or acknowledge that the living God is Lord of your life. It's tough...but we are refined through the fire of such persecution and your coming to visit us with a word from God brought us renewed hope and strength to stay strong!!
Please come back again! God used you and your team in a mighty way! Don't forget about Providence! Pray for us!
One of the Warriors...
Sandy

Dear Sister,
Satan must have known you were coming to New England because the week before your arrived, he turned up the heat! My daughters and I noticed an increase in road-rage and angry people at work. We thought, "What's UP?"
When we walked into the convention center...WOW...we felt God's presence and it made tears well-up in our eyes! NO wonder the enemy was scared out of his MIND! HA!HA!
Thank you for bringing God's word to our dry and thirsty land! It's tough being a Christian here in the Northeast! Here you are seen as weird or out-of-touch for attending church, or declared weak for declaring the Lord as your personal Savior! My oldest daughter is a Resident Advisor at the dorms at the state University here and during training this week she was told to NOT FORCE HER BELIEFS on the students! HELP!
Please pray for Rhode Island and all those here who struggle daily to live out the life God has called them to!
And please...come again to our little state and bring a fresh dose of the Living Water to this dry land!
Thank you!
Love, your Rhody Sister...
Sandy

When I read this verse this morning during my devotion time, I thought of you saying that some of your neighbors think you are a crazy religious person.

In 2 Cor. 5, Paul says:

"If it seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God...Either way, Christ's love controls us."

Love it!!!!!! Call me crazy, but when you do, know it is bringing glory to my daddy!!! And not only that, Christs love is controlling my craziness for Him!!

Have a God-filled day, radical, crazy day!!

God works through you in such an awesome way to touch the lives, hearts and souls of so many people! It was a truely memorable event for us all especially one of the girls in our group, my friend Shannon, who was one of the 42 women in Providence to Receive Christ as her personal savior! I have spent quite a bit of time with her since we came home and she is still so on fire!!! What an exciting time for all of those women who were saved! I am quite certain there is still a party going on in Heaven! Thank you again. I will be there next fall when you are in New England again...without a question!

Hello Beth,

I received an extra helping of blessing at your Rhode island conference last weekend. In addition to all of the Bible-banging worship that I was delighted to take part in, I met a very special lady named Judy. Judy was with her foster, soon-to-be adopted daughter, Emily. Judy and I met in the bathroom, (of all godly places!!) and I had the pleasure of chatting with her and holding her sweet child. She blessed me with her story about Emily,(9 months old),and how they came to be connected. I shared my own adoption story with Judy as a result. I would like to share it with you so you know the mighty power of God was working in countless ways all over Rhode Island last weekend..... and yes, even in the bathroom!! I am a birthmother who placed my own daughter for adoption when I was fifteen. Twenty-six years have passed. Judy blessed me with a hug at your conference and a "Thank you" for being a birth mother who could surrender my child for adoption. What a blessing that was to my heart! Thank you Judy and thank you, Beth. What an amazing conference!!

Hi Beth,

Thank you so much for coming to
New England; and I am so excited to
see u say you'd be back next Fall
again. Your book "Breaking Free" began my deliverance from daily despair and hopelessness...and you continue to speak His life and power into my life....thank you; I
took great hope from "everything has a divine purpose" (especially in light of my prodigal son, Timothy). It makes me think of a song ..."scarred, scorched, tattered...vessels frayed and frail...the shield of faith is battered..but it will NOT lie down..to let defeat prevail"...
Hallelujah to the Lamb!

love you,

Beth,
It has been over a week since I was in Rhode Island, and my heart, mind, and soul has not stopped yearning for more of HIM. I'm so glad you mentioned how the 'acapella' singing effcted you. All I could think when I heard our thousands of voices lifted in praise is that this was but a small glimse of how it will be in heaven as the multitudes worship He who sits on the throne.(Rev 7:9-12). The conference so challenged me to 'align my reality to my theology'. I have begun your online study 'Believing God', and although I just started week 2, I already see my faith growing, and have a better understanding of the difference between believing IN God, and believing God to be who He is.
God Bless you Beth for giving yourself to be His instrument in this world. Your Faith is invasive. I can't wait till the next conference near enough that I can get to. (I'm from Long Island)
I Love you

What an experience the weekend was! In the wee hours of the morning that we returned home, I woke up and wrote this e-mail to the women with whom I'd attended the Rhode Island Conference. Thought I'd share. It says it all. Can't WAIT till you come back, Beth. We'll be bringing every gal we know!
With such PRAISE to our Awesome God,

Here's the e-mail:
Ladies,
I woke up about an hour ago and started thinking about a whole bunch of things. I ended up weeping with gratitude for what God did this weekend and praising and thanking Him for being SO obvious to us! Honestly, I love God so much, but my love has increased between Friday and now in a way that is amazing. And I just wanted to share my overwhelming feelings with my three travelling sisters!
PRAISE GOD! I LOVE YOU, LORD! THANK YOU!

love, phyllis
