Photography is my passion in life, whether it is the incredible creativity of nature God made for us or the incredible creativity in people. Thanks to Rich Kalonick for these pictures. They are truly worth a thousand words.

I am presently doing the Daniel study - downloaded the videos from Lifeway. Talk about bringing a study to life - through videos and, thanks to Rich Kalonick, pictures as well. Thanks for your wonderful gift and talent. Can you tell I'm a visual learner? hahahaha I have noticed Beth highlights things for us visual learners.

I just came home from the Providence conference. Beth said she hoped we would not recover from what God would do, and that has got to be true. What a wonderful message. I loved every minute of it. I feel like I can't wait to see what next step God has for me. I know he will help me out of my pits, and live victoriously! What a message of hope and a clean new life she gives. Thank you, Beth.

Beth, words can't describe the mighty work that was done on me in the last 24 hours...you said to keep my eyes fixed on Him in RHODE ISLAND and as much as I wanted to focus on you and how hilarious and gentle you are in your delivery of God's word---I stayed fixed on God. I've written you not one but 3 very large books on the challenges of my life-I wish I had given God the same letters instead of burdening you with them-I know you'll say they weren't a burden: Thank you God for speaking these words through Beth:

GOD HAS GIVEN US EVERYTHING WE NEED TO DO LIFE AND TO DO IT HIS WAY...
LIVE A LIFE THAT GIVES MORE THAN IT TAKES...
GOD'S DIVINE POWER IS DISPATCHED INTO MY LIFE BY ME HAVING MORE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM...and SPEAKING IT!
FAITH IN ACTION...
OH AND FINALLY---ABOUT THOSE THINGS IN LIFE THAT ARE IN THE GREY--- IT SPOKE VOLUMES WHEN YOU SAID EVERYTHING (that isn't a definite NO!) IS PERMISSABLE TO ME BUT NOT NECESSARILY BENEFICIAL TO ME..AND I'VE COMMITTED TO NO LONGER PARTICIPATE IN THE THINGS THAT WERE DEFORMED DESIRES FOR ME!

PRAISE GOD!

I had the privilege of attending the Rhode Island event and was blessed beyond measure. I am a recent New England transplant, and as a Southern woman (Louisiana) it was very lovely for me to hear another Southern accent! Thanks Beth! I came to the event wondering how on earth I was going to accomplish all that God is asking me to: adjust to a whole new culture, new husband, new stepdaughter, new church, new job, etc., etc. And then I heard the Word God gave me from Beth's lips: He has given me EVERYTHING I need.

Praise God. I am "dispatching" Him in this situation already!

His,
Jennifer

Thank you all who prayed, and thank you for planning to come back to New England!! We need you!! Does anyone know how I can get a copy of the commitment Beth had us stand and say to a partner at closing??

Everything You Need
II Peter 1:1-11

“Could you please be more quiet?” the bed-headed lady asked after knocking on our hotel room door at 11:35 p.m. She looked tired. We, on the other hand, were wired. After all, there were nine of us moms in our pajamas sharing our labor and delivery stories while eating chocolate and drinking Coke. Okay, we were loud. But what more could we want for a weekend getaway?

Actually, we wanted much, much more. And we got it.

We had spent that evening watching Beth Moore on the big screen in the convention hall, squinting to see the tiny speck of her frame way up on the stage from the back. And we had been so blessed. God spoke to us in that tiny spot in the universe called Providence, Rhode Island. We worshipped, shed tears, and learned. And when the session was over, we did what anyone would do…we scoped out better seats for the next morning.

So at 11:45 p.m., we hashed out our plan. Four of us would get up at 5 a.m. and stand outside the convention hall in order to be first in line for the doors to open at 7:30. The event began at 8:30. Brave, selfless women these were. I was not one of them.

I lay awake most of the night in anticipation…partly caffeine-induced. When I heard the alarm go off at 5:00, I listened as my two roommates quietly rose to go stand outside for two hours. I admit, I felt a little guilty as I drifted off to sleep. At 7:00 I got up and began getting ready for the morning, wondering if my roomies were going to be successful. I thought about the verse, “The first shall be last and the last shall be first” and prayed that in this case it meant the last to bed would be first to be let in.

At 7:25 I got the call. Row Four. The very row we had scoped out the night before. Right behind Beth and the Praise Team. Wow. WOW!! Totally elated, I rushed to check out of the hotel and get to the convention hall to be with my friends.

It had been a nail-biter. They told us they had been first in line at one of the doors, but there were four doors and each was mobbed with eager women by 7:20. They didn’t know which door would open first. Then it happened. Their door opened first, and these women—these beautiful, God-fearing, Bible-toting, Jesus-loving, well-dressed women—RAN! I wish I had been there to see it. Really, I do. It’s my one regret of the weekend.

For a split second, I questioned our motives and our desire to be close to Beth, the worship band and the stage. Were we idolators? But quickly I remembered why we had left our families for the weekend in the first place. It wasn’t about a person. It was about the power of God displayed in a person so sold out for Him, it was infectious. Why were we there? To meet God in that place with thousands of other women who love Him. And meet Him we did.

We raised and clapped our hands in worship. We listened as God spoke His Word to us through a gifted teacher. We searched our Bibles with 4,000 other women and learned that God has given us everything we need to be productive and effective for Him. And then, in a marvelous display of God’s power and love, we watched as 42 women from all over New England came forward to accept Christ as their Savior and Lord, and we wept and worshipped some more.

I haven’t cried that many tears in a long time. But I have to admit, a few of those tears were because our seats were so good.

And so, if you’ve never heard someone with a Texas drawl, who is so demonstratively passionate about our Lord Jesus Christ that she shouts things like, “I dig Him!” while analyzing and comparing words from the original Greek text of the New Testament, you may enjoy Beth’s teaching. Know this: You will be changed.

And if you’re really brave, you may want to venture to another state next year to hear her speak in person. If so, I recommend you pack running shoes.

Psalm 68:35
You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!

How powerful and awesome! I will never forget that weekend and the impact that was made on my life! I have missed the other events that have been in NC and SC since then, but am hoping I will be able to attend others that will be in our area in the future! God's greatest Blessings on you, Beth as you continue to serve Him and He uses you to reach other women for God!!

Still flying from Rhode Island! 4 girlfriends from Delaware went on a road trip with Jesus and HE didn't disappoint. After Saturdays session we had an opportunity to pray and encourge some people at a bus stop on Atwells street in Federal Hill-INCREDIBLE! Then Sunday morning wen stopped at Brooklyn Tabernacle for church and Pastor Pettrey told us to remember Ephesians when God said He gives us everything we need! Coincidence? No way, that was God. Blessing to Beth and the whole LifeWay team for another amazing weekend. We can't wait to serve with you (if you want us:) ) when you come to Delaware.
