Mission Feeding
I have been camped out at my parents house for the last couple of days. My parents are leaving for Angola, Africa, soon and I wanted to make a visit before they left. We've had a wonderful time together. Melissa's 25th birthday is tomorrow and we've been celebrating all week. Right now my parents are busy cooking a Thanksgiving-in-July feast and we are looking forward to sharing that together in about 1 hour and 55 minutes. Not that I'm counting.
I plan on writing a post later with more detailed prayer requests for the Angola trip, but I would love to ask for your prayers now. As many of you know, it takes a lot of energy to get ready for an overseas trip - packing, getting immunizations, getting projects finished, and preparing spiritually. And the enemy is infamous for stirring things up right before an important work takes place. Here are a few things we would love prayer for before the trip.
A) Keith's dad, John Moore (Pappaw to the grandkids), is in very poor health. He had an extremely serious, risky surgery last week and has been in the hospital ever since. Yesterday he developed a painful complication that could require more surgery if it does not correct itself before Monday. What was already working against him was the fact that his flesh has a hard time healing due to radiation he endured with prostate cancer years ago. He is desperate for prayer and for a work of God. As I was typing this he called my mom and she assured him we were asking our prayer warriors to lift him up. Please pray for complete healing without further surgery, for relief from his pain, and for a better quality of life for him as a result of his surgery last week. Thank you so much in advance!
B) My mom is having a reaction to one of her vaccinations that is causing a health issue she deals with to flare up. Please ask God to extinguish this flare up.
C) Pray for peace over the ministry and over our whole family for the next week as they prepare for this important trip. Pray for the peace to remain as they travel. The travel dates are July 27-August 5.
My parents have partnered with James and Betty Robison of Life Outreach International to help feed hungry and malnourished children in Africa. Because of the generosity of Life Today viewers and the amazing provision of our loving Father, Life Outreach International is currently able to feed over 400,000 children per month. This is what the trip is all about. I will have more details for you later, but for now you can read a little more about it here.
Thank you, sisters, for standing in the gap! You have no idea what it means to all of us! We love you.
Amanda

John 16:33 reminds us Jesus has overcome the world...all these problems that the devil would like to use to claim victory, Jesus has already defeated...and he's brought us peace instead! Praise His glorious name! Let's pray to live in this victory as we lift up the Moore family in our prayers. Thank you, thank you and Glory to God! Love in Jesus, Kim in PA
I am crying out to God with these important requests. Much love and prayer....
You know I'll be praying for y'all.
And I'm trying to figure out if I could make it from here to there in time for supper. If you don't mind me inviting myself, of course. And if you could teach me how to flap my arms and fly via email.
And by the way - if you COULD do that last thing? You'd be covered up with anointing, sister. ;-)
Love y'all!
It never fails. The devil always wants to try and stop us when he knows we are going to be doing something great for God. How awesome it is though that we can go to God with our troubles and it all works out for His glory. You all are in my prayers.
Yes! We (my family) will be praying for all of these requests. I too support the ministry and missions of Life Today. In fact, I am so excited about the opportunity and honor to attend the dinner in Nashville with the Robison's. It is actually scheduled the night before your parents leave. I hope that one day I will have the opportunity to serve in that ministry, rather than just giving money. I know the money is important, but what a priviledge to be able to love on the people. I know that God must bless you with much joy when you love His children in Angola.
Thank you for sharing your heart with us Amanda. I will be praying.
Happy Birthday to Melissa! I know these family times together are very special. Our daughter and her family live in So.Ca., our son in Co. Springs so our time together is a special blessing. Amanda, our prayers are with all of you during this next several weeks--with your Pappaw, your Mom, both Beth & Keith for safe & healthy travels in Africa.
Thank you for all you do for this blog, it's such a special place for us all to gather, regardless of the thousands of miles that seperate us.
In His love,
I'll be praying for this exciting trip! I love the Robisons and tape them on DVR. They are so neat and are doing amazing things in Africa!
Prayers especially for your grandfather as he struggles with these health issues.
Bless you, Moore family!
I TOTALLY understand where you guys are coming from and will be in prayer for you and your parents and their parents during this time. My husband and I are preparing for a trip to Kenya at the end of August. We are going to put on a marriage conference for fifty pastors and their wives. We have already had our first round of immunizations and go back on Aug.3 for the rest of them. We meet with an attorney on Aug. 2 to have all of our will papers drawn up. (we have two small girls, 1 and 3 we will be leaving in the care of their grandparents) We are still waiting for all of our support money to come in which is a bit of a concern because we cannot make up the difference ourselves if we don't get the support, due to the fact that I am a stay at home mom and my huband is a minister. All of that to say I know where you are coming from and will be in pray for your family and I ask that you be in prayer for me, my husband and our family as we too prepare to go and minister in Africa.
I am praying Psalm 138:8 The Lord will perfect (accomplish) that which concerneth me; thy mercy O LORD, endurenth forever...
Lord, please keep Mr. Moore in your care and heal his body. Thank you that he asked us to pray for him. It is a priviledge to come before Your throne to make mention of his needs as well as the needs of physical healing for Beth. I also pray for Keith as he is preparing to leave the country. Give him Your peace that passeth understanding. Thank you for all the times he has prayed for us. I also ask for favor in their travels. We remember Lord, how good you were to them when they went to Israel recently. Do it again, Lord.
Thank you for Melissa and help her to enjoy her 25th birthday. Thank you for Amanda and her sweet spirit, loving spirit. God bless The Moores. In Jesus name, Amen
Goodness gracious - thank you so much for allowing us a peek into their lives through these prayer requests. it is an honor to lift them up to the Lord - a privilege!!!
thank you and have a great week and thanksgiving feast!!!
In the name of Jesus we claim healing and health over Mr. Moore and Beth. I am praying for the trip and for God's hand to be in all they do. God bless you all!! Jean
It is a priviledge to pray for your family.
I have been to Africa and know what it is like preparing to travel there.
Remember:
"The Lord is our deliverer. Our present help in time of need."
Blessings to all of the Moore family!
Happy Birthday Melissa!
Love ya
Kristi B.
You are all in my prayers. May the peace that only God can give fill your hearts. Lots of love and prayers.
Father,
What a privledge to pray with this family as they put their hand to the plow to serve you. I ask for a hedge of protection. I ask that you would send your mighty warring angels to watch over them and lift them up in their hands so they will not stike thier foot against a stone -- that includes the stone of strife, confussion, fatigue, danger, illness, unbelief, temptations or obstacles. We ask that you would release your power into the lives and the land of the people you are calling them to serve. We ask for the power of your blessing -- that whatever they put their hand to would prosper, that whatever they ask for in prayer would be granted and loosened or bound for your Kingdom. We ask that you would make your Name known throughout the land. Lord, there is power in your Name. Please reveal that power to these people. May every knee bow and every tongue confess you as Lord. Lord, you care for the hurting. You have compassion on the weak. Your hand is not too short to save. Please send your healing power. Send your rain. Let your face shine upon the land until they are all healed and leaping like a calf let out to the pasture. Lord, we could ask for just one but because of who you are we ask for a multitude. We ask that you would pour out your Spirit on all flesh -- on their sons and their daughters, on old and young. Lord, we take time to you. Time is short. The Day is closer now than when we first believed. Your servants are in that land. Find your lambs, Good Shepherd, and fill them with your power. May they be given the honor to labor for your Kingdom b/c the harvest is plentiful. NOTHING is too difficult for you so please strengthen our faith so we can believe and see your glory.
Thank you Jesus. Send them out with power and peace.
Amen
Praying now and the upcoming days for all of you. My our awesome God bless you, protect you, and strengthen you.
Beth and Keith - You are on our minds, in our hearts and uplifted by our prayers. Blessings to all of you!
Many prayers will be sent up for the Moore family. God bless
Will be glad to do it.
I'll be lifting y'all up in prayer...
Sweet Moore family,
Know that our family will be lifting you before the Throne of Grace. Beth and Keith, our prayers will be with you as you go with Life Outreach to help feed children. I can't think of a better picture of Jesus himself than the one of James and Betty feeding those precious children.
Blessings,
Jan

We will certainly be in prayer for your grandfather and for the trip. Thank you for sharing with us how to pray. I have already lifted these things before the throne as well as Beth overcoming the reaction. Bless this trip and may God receive much Glory. May these many children and families in much need know the lavish love the Father has for them and the great sacrifice Christ gave on their behalf. They may not have much earthly wealth, but they are loved by the creatorof the universe, may they know Him and receive all His riches in glory. We love you guys.
Keysh...
Not only will I be personally praying...I will have a prayer card made for your parents, Betty and James regarding this trip to Africa and our church will cover this in prayer. Can't wait to hear the reports!! Love you guys! Thanks for Serving Him so faithfully.
I am lifting all of you up in prayer for these needs. Isn't it awesome and comforting to be a part of the family of God? The most powerful thing we can do for each other is to pray. Love to you from Oklahoma.
Face down in prayer for you all!
So much Love I don't know how to tell you!~

What timing! I met just this morning with my friend who, she and her family just returned from Africa, they are with Wycliffe translating the Bible, the book of Mark should be finished SOON! As she shared, she expressed the 'loneliness' that can take place, and all the demands made on you while living in the village among the people. They are here for one year to rest and heal. I gave her the study "A Womens Heart, God's Dwelling Place', you should have seen how she handled the workbook - cherishing with love. She said she REALLY needed to hear from God in this season, I assured her He would speak, and to seek Him, in the 'specifics'. So this bush bible translator will soon be preparing and positioning for His presence!!! Thank you for the study!
Have a wonderful trip
Going off to pray now! Can't wait to hear how God comes through!! Greater is He...Greater is He!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA!!!!!

Oh Gracious, Merciful Father! Please comfort and watch over this beautiful family who adores You so! Mr. Moore needs your comfort and healing, Lord; please wrap him up in Your arms so that he feels Your presence, Father. Lord, take Beth and her family to Your heart and keep them close to You, Father! You are the Mighty One Who breathes life into all of us, Lord, please be with these most valiant warriors, in Christ, Your Beloved Son! We ask these things in Your Sons' Name, AMEN
Hi ladies & Keith!! - We are packing for a vacation too and the enemy is on us also - so I do understand, but I am singing loud this song of as a prayer "I am pressed but not crushed, persecuted not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed, I am blessed beyond the curse for His promise will endure and His JOYS gonna be my strength"
You are definately in my prayers. Love to you all and looking forward to a GREAT praise report where we can all sit and clap like crazy giving the Lord a clap offering at our monitor screens!!!
You all continue to bless me.
Much love because of Jesus

Dear Lord, I lift up this sweet sweet family to you. Beth, Amanda, Melissa, Keith, and beloved PawPaw. I ask that you give them health, strength, and peace. The kind that passes all understanding. I lift up this amazing mission trip to you Lord, and praise you for the generous givings that have made it possible to feed so many. I ask that you bless this trip for Siesta Beth and her sweet man and that you use them in an extraordinary way. Please give Amanda and Melissa peace and comfort while their parents are away. And most of all please protect and heal thier loved one. We know that traveling is hard, and even more so when someone at home is sick. We lift him up to you Lord and ask for your amazing healing touch. Thank you for the wonderful blessing this family is to so many people. And Lord I ask that you send them heaping helpings of blessing upon blessing while they travel and serve in such a wonderful way. Please keep them safe and healthy, and bring them back refreshed and renewed in your service. Forever loving you, Amen.
Your whole family and ministry are in my prayers. God Bless you all.

Oh Amanda...
I will join the army of siestas (now that may make us sound a little week, but really if we're resting Jesus can come and be the strong one anyway!) in prayer.
And thank you
I bring all of you, and your extended family, to His Throne. He is able...
And Happy 25th to Melissa!
Chris and I commit to pray for all the things you listed and whatever else the Lord brings to mind. We also commit to continue sending support to Life Outreach...we love. love. love their hearts for these children!
Love,
Chris and Holly Smith
We have had more prayer request at camp just this week for sickness and surgery than I've ever seen before. We will certainly be lifting up Pappaw!!
I have a special place in my heart for Africa, as my parents were missionaries there for 2 years long before I was born. It's tough to know about all they are facing over there and feel like you can never do enough. I sponsor a child through Compassion International name Lizzie...it's comforting to know that so many others are being helped through Life Outreach International.
Blessings to the Moore family, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Miss Melissa!! :)
My prayers are with you. Thank you for all that your entire family does for so many. You are such a light in this world and an encouragement to so many.
God Bless,
Kim in Katy
You have no idea what it means to US to be asked - blessed - to be praying for you all in such a way!!! I have felt a burden to be praying for Beth lately and now I know why and what to be praying for. Thank you Amanda!
Love ya all and am so happy to be praying for all of you.
God Bless!!

Hi Amanda,
I have been out of town most of the summer with all-star baseball tournaments (my middle son is 13 and a pitcher) so I haven't had the chance to blog and I've really missed it!! It's like missing family.....that to say, I can already hear the "I'll miss you's" in your words asking for their prayer covering. I will be praying for you as well!!:)
God is such an amazing God and He CAN and WILL do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine!! I still remember the story of the first trip your mom and dad were to take to Angola with the Robison's and Betty had that bad flare-up with her back and they couldn't go and your mom was sooo...disappointed and concerned about the food and provisions getting to the children if the trip was canceled. God absolutely floored her as your dad came home from I believe getting a haircut?? and a women had given him a prophetic word from God about something that was pertaining to Angola and your dad says to your mom, "now isn't that funny that God would go to all that trouble to get a word to me about what I'm to do in Angola if we aren't going. Needless to say, they went and God did amazing things! Ps. 78 is all about us remembering and not forgetting all that God has done in the past, and as we do we move forward in confident assurance of all that He plans to accomplish in our tomorrow's.
I will be praying for every concern and need and waiting expectantly to hear a good report of the goodness of our God!!
Love to you all!
Angela in Redmond, WA
One last thing! :-) Yesterday I was thinking about our Ladies Class starting soon and thought "I can't wait to start Esther! Oh Wait.. that study's not written yet!" I guess I got over anxious about it. Peronally, I'll be reading the Book of Esther till then. God Bless you all.
Kara
The enemy is such a robber and thief, he would like to take any good gift from the Father and mess with it to try to take glory from the LORD. I got a good word the other day that I will share, though you probably already have it in your index cards. Here it is:
Psalm 118:10-12
All the nations surrounded me, but in the Name of the LORD, I cut them off!
They surrounded me on every side, but in the Name of the LORD, I cut them off!
They swarmed around me like bees, but they died out as quickly as burning thorns; in the Name of the LORD, I cut them off!
Let's cut him down to size! Our God is HUGE! I will be praying. Are you doing a sign up on a per hour basis like in Israel?
Love you all-
Lisa in Kirkland
Thank you for sharing these very heavy trials with us Siestas. My heart felt prayers are going out for you all and look forward in hearing all about how God shows Himself in all this. I love you all!
Okay those are some big prayer requests that I will earnestly pray to God about. Healing on 3 and joy on 1. Happy Birthday Melissa! God wants us whole and healed so we cry out for His will to be done, even in feeding the children. God bless the work and workers of the trip.
In all things remember that the Lord said in II Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in your weakness."
So, for Keith's father, I claim the Lord's promise that where 2 or more are gathered in His Name and ask according to His will, it is done. So, Lord, we are asking in agreement for total healing and restoration for Keith's father, and claiming Your promise. Lord, we also claim this same promise for Beth, and ask You, O God, to remove any reactions to any vaccinations for the trip, in the Name of Jesus. Lord, pour Your perfect peace over Mr. Moore and Beth that You are in control and that they will be healed; pour Your perfect peace over Beth and Keith as they prepare to do Your work in the mission field to Your glory. Lord, we plead the Blood of Jesus over Beth, Keith, Betty and Jim Robison for Your protection as they travel, as they spread the Gospel of Jesus, and as they give these children life-giving water. O God, we bind Satan, and cast him to the place that Jesus desires, and we ask You, Holy Spirit, to fill to overflowing every vacant place in the Robisons and Moores. Let them be a reflection of You, Lord, to all who meet them on this trip. Thank You, Lord, for always supplying their needs, spiritual, physical, mental and emotional. You have promised never to leave us or forsake us. We claim that promise today! We thank You, Lord, and give You all the honor, all the praise, and all the glory! In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen!
Go with God, Beth and Keith! We cannot wait to hear all about it!
Much love to you...
Happy Birthday Melissa!
Thank you Amanda for the prayer request information! It is so nice to be able to pray specifically!
Enjoy your family time Moore's and we'll keep you all lifted up! You all are such a blessing to so many!
:) Teri
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA!!
The gap is so full of all of the siestas who are lifting up and will continue to lift up prayers on behalf of your family and this mission trip.
As I was praying I felt God's comforting presence in regard to the requests.
It is so reassuring to know that Jehovah Rapha is our healer and this is the one we call upon right now for Beth and Papaw.
Jehovah Shalom will cover you and the family with peace.
How I love God and His many names. He is our All in All.

The Accuser certainly does like to steal, kill and destroy, doesn't he?
I find myself really struggling with an issue, much more than I ever expected, and I know that it is no coincidence that it comes at a time in my life when I am growing in faith and healing from my past.
The evil one sure is persistant, but thank God his failure has already been written!
Lord, lay Your hand on the Moore family as they prepare to be Your hands and feet to the world. Thank You in advance for the victory that is guaranteed to them when they stand their ground in Your power and strength. AMEN
holding you all up in prayer right now!! when are your mom and dad flying out? I would be honored to pray on that occasion as well, particularly as they fly over London, where I am! :)
In Jesus' love,
maria cristina
Praying for your pawpaw and his recovery, and your momma for health, and all of you for a hedge of protection from the evil one. I will continue to lift you all daily, and stand in the gap. Thank you for letting us know, and just help to confirm the thinking that I must pray more for the Moores...God is awesome how HE does that. Bet that turkey dinner was awesome...the waiting makes it so much better!! happy birhtday Melissa! Princess to princess
I will be lifting all these things up in prayer! We can't go with you physically, but our Heavenly Father knows no boundries, we will all be there in spirit!
Blessings,
Georgia Mom
I am praying for all the requests!
Please keep us posted.
I wish Beth and Keith had time to come on over here to Mozambique after they visit Angola!
We stand ready to thwart the plans of Satan....we will not be moved! Prayer support is our tool against the powers of darkness, and I will be remembering all these requests.
Safe travel and blessings!
Wow, I was just going to pray and not write then I read anonymous's prayer "Find your lambs good shepherd and fill them with you power" and I had to lift her up. She needs to pray more here, its quite up lifting.
Isaiah 26:3&4 - You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD is the Rock eternal.
I am praying this over all the concerns of the Moore household.
Janis
I pray today that, "...the Lord will guide you (always); he will satisfy your needs in a sunscorched land and will strengthen your frame. (That) you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail."
Isaiah 58:11
And, Happy Birthday, Melissa!!!
To the Moore's family.
I just wanted you to know that I got your back in PRAYER.
God is a FAITHFUL God, he hears our cry as we pray.
I'll be praying for your whole family everyday, I even sent an email out to some of my friends with your prayer request.:)
As a family, we stand as one.
Beth, you are lovely. YOU ROCK
I just listened to your mother's teaching from the Precepts Conference the past couple of days, so I'm about to go face down on her, her grandfather's and LP's behalf. Let Beth know she's reaping what she has sowed! God bless you all!
Love,
Jan in NC
Dear Sisters,
I am praying and will be praying for each one of you over the next few weeks.
Can't wait to hear what God does on this trip!! He must have something spectacular planned.
praying
My husband and I both are praying as well as my little ones. Ryan prayed this morning for 'PawPaw Moore' and Mrs. & Mr Moores trip to Africa and Mrs. Moores 'fairup'. We will continue to pray and please let us know other ways when you can that we can pray!
Thank-you Amanda for the privilege to offer prayers on behalf of your family and their ministries. I have always appreciated that about the blog.
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus through-out all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Phil 3:20-21
I will definitely be praying!
It humbles my heart and fills me with such joy to share in prayer with sisters I don't even know and yet love. I will be in prayer for your family. It is a great privilege.
Amanda,
I will begin to pray for your papaw and your parents. I know about the enemy rearing his ugly head before going on a mission trip or any trip or task God sends you on. It happened to me yesterday and I wanted to explode but as your mom taught me, I can panic, be paralyzed or pray. That has helped me more than anything in life difficulties. I am in Nashville right now and visiting a friend of mine and attended Christ Church to hear the premier of their newest cd and God was glorified and I sat there and soaked in all the worship and Lici sang a song last night called He Still Leads,,,, I know as God leads your parents to Angola, HE will protect them and provide for their every need. He is faithful!!! Have a blessed weekend and the Thanksgiving in July sounds wonderful!!!
Love,
Patty
Praying, praying...
I am praying for all your requests, and am so honored to do so. Our God will supply all your needs.
The Siesta Warriors are fired up and ready to do battle. What an honor. There sure are some awesome prayers in the comments. I was edified and ministered to myself. love, love, love you.
Well Satan you always think you have the last word in everything, I know you'd like nothing better to mess up this trip for the Moore's, but you won't and can't because The Lord had hedged protection around Beth and Keith and their family, especially John. Lord! lay your healing hand on him and take away all his pain and heal his whole body so he won't need any further surgery. Lift him up to you Lord and give him HOPE! Lord I know you have not finished with John here in this life, so help him to have the best quality of life, so that he can continue on with your plans here. Please also help Beth. Lay your healing hands on her and help all this reaction to just disappear. Give her the strength to get ready for this trip and do what it is you want her and Keith to do. Obviously, this trip will be a powerful one Beth and the Lord will use you strongly. I always know I'm going to be used of God when attacks come my way. I also pray for all the children and families that will be effected by your visit. I pray they all come to know you Lord and that they rely soley on you.
Blessings Sarah - Prayer Warrior
I represent those that never post but we are out there. We will be praying for the whole Moore family.
I will be praying.
And, oh, how I would love to join y'all for dinner!!! Have some wonderful family time!
I'm praying that Keith's dad will be fully recovered!! Finding no need for further surgery, all pain gone in Jesus name!! I pray his dad will be restored to full health with NOOO pain!
I pray for safe travels for Beth and everyone heading out on this mission!! I pray all of Beth's symptoms would be gone and that her body would be in complete peace!! I pray divine health on all family of those going on this trip and divine health on all going on this trip! I pray for supernatural wisdom to pilots flying them and to guides leading them to their destinations. I pray that salvation would come to all who drink of the Living Water being supplied!! In Jesus Mighty and Holy Name!! AMEN!
I'm praying for your family, Amanda.
love you,
Kristi
"...we have confidence before God and receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him."
1 John 3:21-22
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know He hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked of Him."
1 John 5:14-15
Prayed, praying, will pray--

I will be praying for all of you. Your family is always such a blessing to others, it is no wonder the devil is worried about what good will be accomplished through all of you. But we know the devil doesn't stand a chance against our Lord and Saviour. May God bless you with traveling mercies and heal your grandfather and your mom from these health problems the devil is trying to use to derail and discourage your family. My thoughts and prays are with you all.

Amanda,
What a privilege to lift up your family to the Lord's loving hands and care. Walk boldly, knowing He hears you in the storm.
grace and peace,
kt
Dear Siesta Amanda - Your family will be lifted, up to our Gracious Lord, in my prayers and also the African trip. Happy Birthday to my Siesta Melissa. Our Lord already sees your needs and will answer with His perfect peace and comfort. Much love from your Siesta in Lathrop, Missouri
My favorite verse as of late is John 2:14 -
I repeat this as a covering when my circumstances seem overwhelming-
"I am srong, the word of God abides in me, and and I have overcome the evil one.."
I have no doubt your family will overcome and God will accomplish great escapades through your work on His behalf!
Give lots of hugs to those precious children for me! And of course I wouldn't be mad either if you set me a plate at the table..that is if you have turkey n dressing. Otherwise I'll just stay home and eat the obligatory Friday night pizza...:))
Dear Amanda, Thank you for all the updates. It is an honor and blessing to pray for your family. Our women's bible study takes a collection each week for the Life Outreach water wells. At the end of each series, we send it off. This started when we did the Daniel series .("Have mercy and give to the poor")Your mom and dad are setting an excellent example. In the summer , we meet weekly and watch a "Wednesday with Beth" DVD. In the fall , we will do "A Women's Heart". I would like to encourage other groups to give weekly to Life Outreach. When everyone gives a little, it makes a big difference! Blessings! Ann
You can count on my prayers. Thank you for sharing your requests.
Happy Birthday Melissa!
You're all in my prayers!
God is so faithful- He's ordained this, He will walk you all through every step and guard you in His hands.
Love,
Sue
Consider them all covered in prayer! I am so jealous! I wish I could go! I watch Life Today and love it and what they stand for! I support through finances and prayer and hope one day to be able to go. Bless your family! :) Enjoy your feast! Will there be chicken and dumplings?
Just stopping by to wish Melissa a very Happy Birthday today. I hope you do something special and celebrate. Have a piece of cake for me!!

I'll be praying too...before...during...and after. I love you all so very much and am grateful to be able to give back in prayer.
Our prayers are with you always and esp. now with so much going on. May the Lord be with Mr. Moore as he goes through this struggle with his health, with the Team before, during, & after going to Africa & the poor children & adults that live a life most of us can not even imagine.
I also ask for prayers for a good friend, Donnie, & his family, as he recovers from injures due to a motorcycle accident four weeks ago.
Happy Birthday!!! to Melissa who was apparently born on my birthday, July 20.
I don't know if this will get through, but I have tried several times to post on this blog and also to leave prayer requests on the LPM prayer request board. Nothing I submit ever shows up. What am I doing wrong?
Holy Father, just as You led Moses to the Red Sea and parted the waters for him to go on mission, part the waters for this team of humble followers seeking to do Your calling. Father, don't let them miss a single thing in preparation. May they go in Peace. May every step they take be taken in the path of our Prince of Peace. Stir up an excitement in them...an anticipation for seeing Your Glory revealed in this mission. Go before them, Lord, with Your Favor and Blessing. Cover them with Your Divine Protection...physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. But let them follow You with ABANDON!! And Holy Abba Father, take care of all the heartpulls they are leaving behind them for this mission. Heal Keith's dear father, speedily, by Your beautiful and wondrous MERCY. Restore Beth's health by Your Tender Compassion and Love that is beyond measure. Watch over their peeps! But knowing all that will be behind them, I pray earnestly for what lies ahead of them. Give them the holy opportunity to touch lives with the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I pray that they will remember the story of The Starfish Thrower who just because so many starfish were laying helplessly on the shore dying, it didn't stop the mission to save the ones that could be reached. Yes, Lord! You are On Mission! May this team be so close behind You that they are overwhelmed by Your Beautiful Fragrance. We praise You for answering before we even call on You. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Definately praying! May God hear each one and answer. May He richly reward your faithfulness.
In His love,
Angela
Amanda, and all of the Moores...
I know that first and foremost how hard it must be to know your other grandpa is ill. I will be praying, i know Beth just lost her dad not to long ago.
BELIEVE me I will be praying.
I also would imagine traveling no matter how many times your parents have gone overseas or even another state...it probably still brings some anxiety.
You are all prayed for, but I thought I would leave a PROMISE from God too...
Phil 4
" Be anxious not for ANYTHING, but in EVERYTHING, with prayer, petition and thanksgiving, let all of your requests be known to God, and the peace of God, that transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus."
I was told to memorize that long ago, and let me tell you it has gotten me through so much!
Be Blessed my Siestas...and Happy Birday Melis...so I am now stuck in the middle...Melissa you are one yr younger than me, and Amanda is one year older...:-)
Lifting up all these matters! There must be something really great in store during this trip!
Just as sista beth reminded me in my daniel study..the devil is always trying to woo us and tempt us from being the holy vessels we are. So I will be lifting you all in prayer and praising God for each of you and asking Him to meet each of the needs. Nothing is impossible for Him.
love in Jesus to you all
I just prayed for all of you and will continue to pray for you.
I will be praying for you all
Your family will most definitely be in my prayers. I will pray specifically that God will resolve all the health issues and pave the way for lives to be changed in Africa.
Much, much love,
Heather
Dear Amanda,
I am praying these requests over your sweet family. When I was praying for peace I was looking at your words and I prayed that God would give "our family" peace, meaning your family. Made me stop and think and realize that you are our family. What a wonderful thought.
God bless you all. I will continue to pray.
Love,
Jax
Happy Birthday, Melissa!
Kathy
What a blessing this ministry continues to be to me. God has spoken so clearly to me so many times through the different Bible studies. It will be a privilege to stand in the gap for this trip to Africa and for your family.
bless you all Moore family!
kat
I am praying for all of you and will continue to more than ever in the next few weeks. The Moore family means a great deal to me and love hearing from you. Keep us posted. We love you.

Just wanted to let you know that I would be praying for you and your family. I made a note of the trip and will keep them uplifted in prayer through the trip, I am sure great things will happen during the trip. God Bless You All!!!
Father in heaven, envelope this mission trip with Your Presence. Provide wisdom, discernment, and knowledge...as well as physical ability to accomplish every need. LORD, when Your Word says that we can quench the Holy Spirit, that must mean that we can also FREE this same Holy Spirit. That is my prayer today for this trip. That Your Holy Spirit would be FREE to move with a fresh wind, fresh fire for this mission. Remove all doubts and fears. I humbly lay down every inadequacy at Your Feet as a gift to You, O God. Take these human inadequacies and use them for Your Glory. Let Your Spirit have freedom to work in and through every human limitation because it is YOU working in every need and not the person. Quench evil. Extinguish evil. Bind evil here on earth and in heavenly places so that Your Work can be accomplished. I thank You for hearing all our prayers and for answering. In Jesus Name. Amen.
