I go to church for dinner and teach a Bible Study. Tonight is our last week of Priscilla's "Can We Talk" Bible study. It has been good, however I really need to concentrate all my energy on Daniel which I am doing on Monday nights.

Hi Amanda.

We go to church on Wednesdays, too. There is a before church meal that starts about an hour before. My girls go to a combined class that has 3 year olds through 5th grade in it. I work in the media room helping the teachers. My husband either goes to class or helps with the computers as needed.

In fact, funny story. As a stay at home mom and as a one vehicle family, there was a point that the only time my youngest got to leave the house was to go to church. If we got in the car at any time, she would ask if we were going to church, even if it was Thursday morning or a Friday night. LOL She's a cutie.

Your family is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing pictures with us.

Hugs,
Melinda

We are just starting at a new church...well somewhat new. I have worked there for 2 and a half years and decided it was time for a change as our church was making some choices we didn't believe were very Biblical. We are going to see the Lenten Dramas that they put on every year depicting the life of Jesus leading up to Easter! We have a soup and sandwich dinner before the service! We are so excited!
Thanks for the pictures of the your beautiful babes!

In Him,
Andrea

Sweet pictures! We go to church for supper at 5:00 and then I go to the youth room for 542 (based on Acts 5:42), and it starts at 5:42. Sometimes we have ladies Bible study and right now I'm torn between the youth and going to hear my pastor teach through Colossians. My children are in AWANA.

We have AWANA clubs for the kids on Wednesday nights. I teach Cubbies, the 3 & 4 yr olds. Favorite Cubbie moment of the year: When one little girl just before Christmas looked at me earnestly: "Did I already tell you that I asked Jesus into my heart this morning??" "No, you didn't, I'm really happy to hear that!" I answered. The child next to her asked her what she meant, and she went on to tell him, "Oh, you HAVE to love Jesus and ask Him into your heart -- if you don't, He won't bring you any presents for Christmas!"

I love the kid photos. :) Little girl ponytails are so adorable, especially when they stick straight up or out! We'll be having our third girl any day now, so I guess it will be our last go-round with little girl hair...until grandkids, anyway.

On Wednesday afternoons, we have an afterschool program for the kids. So I take the girls to that and, until recently, ran the nursery. But being 37 weeks along, I'm having to take a break. Wednesday nights, my hubby leads youth Bible study. He's the student minister at our church.

When we only had one child, I was at every youth function. But now that we have (almost) 3, I have to miss out on most of the youth activities. :(

It's been a hard transition, but God has shown me that I'm doing my own very important ministry at home with my girls. I'm a stay-at-home mom and a homeschool teacher to our 7-year-old.

Yes, we go to Church! I arrive 30 min. early to pray with a committee over an upcoming women's conference to be hosted at our Church. At 6:00, our Pastor leads Bible Study--currently it's the book of Daniel. My husband attends the study while I help with GAs. Our daughter is in GAs (Girls in Action--a mission focus group for girls 1st-6th grades) and our son is in RAs (Royal Ambassadors) same as girls group, only for boys. I think the fellowship supper sounds awesome!

My small group of ladies meet on Wed nights. We meet for 2hrs from 6pm to 8pm, the first hr is dinner. I mean dinner...usually a hot main course with salad and then dessert. I've suggested we limit the dinner hr to a shorter time period and the ladies will not hear of it...they want their grub!!! Currently studying Lamplighters Proverbs 1-9 by John A. Stewart.

This is the first year in a long time that we (as adults) haven't had Wednesday night responsibilities at church. So, we drop the 4 big kids off at church (not the church we attend on Sundays, actually, but one just down the block from our house where lots of their friends attends the great Wednesday night programming) and take Anna and either go to the Y and workout together, go to the library or run a few errands as a couple (well, a couple and a toddler . . . but when you usually have 5, having just 1 along feels quite a bit like a date!)
blessings on your evening!

Hope you have a great time at church and thanks for making my day with the baby pics. ;)

We moved to Rhode Island this past summer from Atlanta. In Atlanta we went to a huge church. When we moved up here my husband found this brand new, TINY church. I promptly told him we would not be going back there because it was too small. Lo and behold, we go every week and LOVE the energy, mission, and vision of our new church. On Wednesday nights, a smaller group (than the 30 or so on Sunday) gather and we literally pray for every member of the church by name, and all those that visit. I've been so blessed being a part of a church that is brand new and am so thankful that we are there!

Wednesday night church....I'm just gonna be honest and say what I've been thinking for a while now but haven't said outloud -
We used to do the whole Wednesday night church thing. But since converting to the Catholic church a number of years ago we don't. I miss that. There is much that I love about our Catholic faith but there is much that I also love and miss from my Baptist background. It's hard sometimes.
I think I really needed to admit that outloud.

What precious children - Annabeth is darling of course but those eyes on Jackson!!! Oh my - there are women who'd pay millions for those! He's a lady killer for sure - start prayin now!!

I have Women at the Well with 13 women thirsty for more of Jesus. We're studying Song of Solomon with Mike Bickle from IHOP and seeking our Lord through in depth prayer and worship. It's a coveted time of "soaking our feet together in the warm water of God's word" and saturating ourselves with Him. It so prepares my heart to facilitate the study of Daniel on Thursday mornings - another incredible blessing!

I take my 6 year old boy to Kids for Christ (like AWANAS, but less competitive), and I sit in the church library and read/study a current book of need/interest. I am working on Cloud and Trent's Boundaries in Marraige right now. I look forward to the time of study and God always teaches me a lot! :)
Those kids are adorable! Thanks for being so faithful to share pics! :)

Wednesday Night is youth night at our church. My husband drops off our youngest - the last one living at home - and tries not to get a speeding ticket to get back home. He knows I have lit the fire and drawn the king size bath accented by candle light. Even after 30 years of marriage, we LOVE Wednesday nights.

Our church does what we call Journey Groups which is like small or cell groups. There are over 100 of them and they meet different nights during the week and do Bible study and life together. Of course there is usually food since a lot of folks come from work.
it's a great way to be surrounded by "family".

I go to church for dinner every Wed. night. I usually go upstairs and hang out with my youth Sunday School kids for about 30 minutes. Then, at 6:35, I go to adult choir rehearsal. I love going on Wednesday nights. It is such a good time to spend with my church family.

Church, though we never make it to the fellowship meal. And half the time there is something going on that I can't get to class, though I always get my mother there to teach hers.

I can't believe I admitted that on the LPM blog. I think I won't sign that!
