My neighbor & I have decided that this is most definitely worth the drive from College Station and will be there this evening. I cannot wait! Praying for no traffic.....oh well, guess we can always hope, too!
See you soon...again! I'm still walking on air from the SSMT. I'm amazed how many times a day one or more of my verses pop out of my mouth! I love it!
Can't wait!!! Y'all are wrapped in prayer.
Looking so forward to it!!! It's been WAY too long!
I will be there and hopefully bring a friend. I have been studing 2 Samuel so I am really looking forward to this study.
I'll be there!! (-:
ok... this is great! My family and I just started doing this study, we are at the end of our 2nd week. My little girl, Abbie (I have sent pics to Amanda before of her imitating Beth) has had such a hard time concetrating on the video messages because "Beth's hair is so big..." :) at 10 years old and a tomboy, this just seems to be such A BIG DEAL! LOL!
She will be relieved to know that the videos are being updated...
I want to share that I did this study the first time in 99 when I was expecting Abbie. The Lord used the lesson on Abigail to confirm the name He wanted her to have. Th name means "My father rejoices." She is Abigail Joy and she has given everyone who has met her, much laughter and joy.
Thank you once again for your faithfulness to the WORD.
I will be there!
I'll be there. I can't wait to see you, and thanks for the text message! :)
Ann
I will be there "in spirit" since I live in Missouri. But Oh, David!!! This was the first Beth Moore study I ever did, and I can't wait to see the "remix" after you do this. Please do a video for the rest of the world. God bless you all.
I am praying for y'all tonight!! I can feel the excitement from here. ;)
Love you Siestas!
I have also decided to drive to Houston from College Station, living with my daughter and moved from Illinois. I have done all of Beth's Bible Studies in my church in Illinois. This was the first one we did many years ago. It is great!!
Can not wait.
See you soon!!
I'm thinking of moving my family to Houston for 11 weeks. Why not?
Praying for you and your mama, Amanda! And the whole wonderful crew! I know God is going to do an AMAZING work, and I look forward to watching it all someday on my tv screen.
Do you think I could fly in on Tuesdays from VA?? Love you guys! Siesta Sister Michelle :)
I heard the ad on the radio while I was in town for the SMT Celebration and I so wish that I could be there. Haven't done this one yet and to do one live and in person would be so great! Too bad Minnesota and Houston aren't just a tad closer together . . .
Blessings,
Shana
I would love to have stayed for it, but had to get home to take care of my baby girl (15 1/2 yr old dog)
definitely praying for you and continued recovery for MamaBeth!
Wish I could attend! But I'm happy to say that I'm currently doing the new & improved "Breaking Free" study and am loving how God is already using it in my life!
I'm assuming since Lifeway will be on site to film we can catch this like 'day after or week after' so we can keep up?? I'd love to live closer to Houston right about now! =)
Think my husband would notice if I "road-tripped" it from Alabama to Houston every Tuesday for the next 11 weeks??????? Never felt so far away from Houston!!!!!!!!! For all of you able to attend...ENJOY!!!!
WHY CAN'T I LIVE IN HOUSTON!? I WANNA BE THERE - PRAYERS FOR A REMARKABLE STUDY TIME FOR ALL!
y'all ever considered a live up-link for folks who want to watch a webcast but live to blessed far away?
I will be there!! And I'm so, totally excited!!
I guess this means that Lifeway is rereleasing this one, too, huh? Love that because I think this study is fantastic and often gets overlooked for some of the others.
I will be praying. I always wish that I were a Texas girl when Houston Bible study time rolls around.
Blessings,
Dori
I am ready to pack my bags and move to Houston. All the fun goes on there.
I'll be there! All the way from La Grange! Tuesday night Bible Study is the most looked forward to thing on my calendar! Thank you for leading us in the study of the Word! I am so pumped!
I'll be there!
I guess I will just have to do this study via video Beth!:) Too far to drive from my house! My prayers for you that God gives you strength and you have a great turn-out for God's glory!
I'll be there! Can't wait! I so look forward to new studies starting up in the Fall and in the Spring!
I prayed already this morning and I'll continue to do so throughout the day... So many people will be blessed through this!
I've been looking forward to this since the last night of our last study! A co-worker will be joining me for the first time - I told her to hold on, it would be a wild ride!
I WANNA COME!!! Don't think I can get there from AZ every Tuesday! I'm enjoying my first journey through "Jesus the One and Only" right now, though! Just finished week two and am so upset that I'm having to miss the video today to be home with my sweet, sick little guy. Love you, Beth! Praying blessings over your Tuesday night study.
I am a former Houston girl who misses being there on Tuesday nights!! Wish I could join all of you! Have a wonderful evening!! Prayers go out for all of you!
Dana
Wish I could be there, but I think the commute from Kentucky will be a little much:) I will lift you all up in prayer though!
I pray this will be a time of glorifying God and fellowshipping in His name...I know it will! My heart will be with you all from Montana!
Praying for tonight! And praying that I can get our schedules worked out by next week!
Would love to be there, but live in SC.
We started our Esther study last night. I had 27 women in my home. Half of them never heard of Beth Moore Studies.
Oh! and we normally do not have food, but one of our young ladies brought OREO TRUFFLES!
BETH MOORE ESTHER STUDY, GIRLFRIENDS FROM CHURCH & OREO TRUFFLES!!!
DOES IT GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT!!!
Can't wait to go to the simulcast next Tuesday and start SO LONG INSECURITIES!!
We are praying for you Siesta Mama! Go bring those ladies some Jesus!!!!!!!!

Clarksville, TN
I don't think my feet touched the ground all day Sunday from the SMT celebration. Several friends at church told me my face was radiant and I said 'it's the Lord.'
I'm still trying to plant it in my heart and it's been a struggle b/c everyone wants to know how my trip was so I feel like I've been passing it too much. I want to cling to it myself.
Praying for you Mama Beth for tonight-have a wonderful time Amanda.
PS-Melissa has the most beautiful eyelashes I've ever seen. She needs to be an ad for that mascara!
Heather G
Charlotte NC
I'm going to do it along with you guys from Oregon!
I would love to come...but I'm thinkin' the drive from Brentwood TN to Houston TX may be a little much... ;0) I started a new one last week. It is with a group,It's been a while since I done one with a group.
Let's all dig in.....and learn what 'He' has to say to us.
I haven't missed one since she was doing them on Thursday mornings with small groups!! (Sabrina and I were in the same group) I will be there with a smaller group this time. We had 84 years young "Aunt Peggy" until she moved away last April. Can't wait to study David again!
Cami in Tomball
I will be praying for the study and also for someone to decide that a live webcast of these tuesday night studies for Siestas is a GREAT idea!!! So wish I could live in Houston on Tuesdays...and during special events like SSMT.
:0)
This was the first Beth Moore study I did. I loved it but several women in our group just couldn't get over the big hair. I told them just forget the hair and get into the Word!!
So is this an updated version? I am praying. In fact this morning, I woke up with Beth and tonight on my mind. Beth, I LOVEd your shotgun story in "Breaking Free" week three this a.m. My Chris is going to "eat it up," when I share with him tonight!
I will be praying!
Love,
Anne
I can't wait. Never done this one before. I'm also very excited about having homework again (never thought those words would come out of this mouth). I've missed it.
Thanks to so many who posted pics and comments about the memory verse celebration. I felt like I was there.
To Beth and her fab team of ladies, I prayed for you and the study last night before bed. I believe God is going to do a POWERFUL thing......AGAIN !! P.S. Beth, don't overdo it...you are still healing. We'll understand!
JoAnn-Houston, TX
A Heart Like His is the first Beth Moore study our church did. It was several years ago and we all fell in love with her anointed teaching.
What a pleasure it was to go into the sanctuary Saturday after the SMT event and see the stage where Beth brings the lessons for the studies and also for us to be able to be present at the Sunday 9:30 service this past Sunday.
It's an honor to pray for this series, for those participating & of course for Beth. I'm so thankful for all I've learned from her and count it such privilege to lift her up to our heavenly Father.
I wish I lived closer and I'd be there in a heartbeat!
Will be praying for tonight. We are on our 4th week of Daniel and have to say we are all loving it!! Our group grows with each new semester. there is something special about gathering with other ladies who are hungry for God's word and learning from a wonderful teacher!
Enjoy Houston Siesta's, wish I could commute. My feet haven't hit earth yet from last weekend(don't think they will any time soon!).
Jan
We just finished that study this past fall. We all loved it. We are now doing When Godly People Do UnGodly Things. We felt it fit perfectly after the study of David.
These are the day I want to live in Houston!!!! SOOOOO bad. Praying for Beth and everyone. XOXO, Bethany
I am SO excited about the bible study tonight!
I'll be there! Can't wait! Am even bringing some of my Senior girls with me. Since I've never studied David, I'm thrilled for this semester. Been praying and will continue to!
My husband just will not agree to us up and moving to Houston! Besides the traffic, I think Houston would be a great place to live! I so enjoyed the weekend there! Would absolutely love to attend the Tuesday Bible Study.
Man I wish I lived in Houston but I don't think a commute from Columbus, Ohio is going to work. Darn it Beth! Could you move to Columbus?
Can't wait for tonight, will be the first Beth Moore Bible study I attend. Two of my friends are coming with me.
Praying...
I am doing the Devotional Book by Beth and am on day 30...I love it!!!
Wish I lived closer :)
Deborah from CT
praying for a totally inspired and blessed Study! I am looking forward to the re-release myself :)
I will be there with a group from my church - First Methodist Houston Westchase. If any other Siestas would like to join us, we always meet for dinner beforehand and then carpool to the event.
Tonight we are meeting at Cafe Express on Woodway and Voss next to Second Baptist Church.
Can't wait!
Blessings!
Roxanne
Woohoo! I can't wait!
I WILL BE THERE with my Sister and her friend!!! :) So exciting to be starting a new semester..!! Hopefully I can find parking close by (wishful thinking!!!) :)
How jealous am I for not living in Houston? Praying for you ladies!
I'll be there!
I am so praying for all of those ladies to be on fire tonight... as I know their leader will ... May God come in and love on everyone of you!...
I will be with my bible study group tonight and remembering Beth's encouraging words to me from Saturday... I will not allow the enemy to come in and take away what God has ordained and maybe just maybe that flame will be lit for some of the other ladies as well...
I love you all and wished I was going to be there too. I will be in Spirit...
Blessings as you triumph in the Lord!!!
Lichelle
Can't be there in body but will be in spirit........please consider live streaming for us who are far away.......
Pat from Kansas
I am right beside you all in my heart! Praying!
We went to church there Sunday morning... and I am SO excited I can picture exactly where you all are now!
(What a great church! Great praise! Loved your Pastor his sermon! The prayer time! And it was my first Baptist Baptism!!!! It made me cry! Precious!)
Emmy : )
See you there.
Amanda:
Can't wait until tonight! I enjoyed the Siesta SMT weekend and talking with so many sweet Siestas. I was afraid that my mind would go totally blank when I recited my scriptures, but I said all of them and didn't have to peek..often...(totally GOD)to get me back on track. Still have my spiral at hand and have kept reciting them this week. Thank you for encouraging us to keep faithful in this journey.
Amanda, a friend I have had since childhood and her Sunday School teacher (who has lead Beth's bible studies) are coming from Waller, northwest of Houston, to see Beth LIVE for the first time. I've told them there is nothing like being in the house with Beth! They are excited and I can't wait for Praise and Worship to begin tonight. See you there!
Mary F.
Can't wait!!
Won't be there this week. I don't get home from a business trip to China until Thursday! I am SO bummed about this by the way! If only I could be there!!
I moved from Colorado to Houston last year. One of the best parts about the move was that I got to attend the Tuesday night study in person! The videos and small group setting are great - and I loved studying Esther with my small group this time last year - but there is nothing like live. I think my favorite part is starting in worship for 1/2 hour! Seriously! It made a hand raiser out of a conservative singer like me! :) It sets the stage for bible study like nothing I have ever before experienced!
So - won't be there today - but will see you all next week!
Kelly
I want there to be an Air Force base in Houston so we can get stationed there and I can attend these studies! Oh man, all you Siestas that live nearby, have a blast taking in the Word!
Praying for your momma and the entire team right this minute!!!!
Hugs,
Fran
I would if I could :O)
Father, please sustain Beth anoint her with Your power to endure and deliver Your word to the willing hearts awaiting to seek You tonight. Lord be found for You are ever-present Bless and keep Your chosen. In Jesus name I pray amen.
Guess if I'm gonna be green with envy it should be over you gals attending this study on David!!!
Grateful for the videos to download Beth! I'm almost finished w/ Esther and have loved it. Looking forward to the next one...can a man get a lot out of "David" too...?
Little Monkey's Mama
Oh how I hope this comes out on video like the Revelation study!
I just finished the original David in December but would love to go through it again. There is so much in there!
Praying for all.
Michelle in VT
I am a missionary in Mexico (Baja California) and as it would happen, me and some other missionary gals from different ministries have started this bible study just last week! I'd love to be there with the live teaching going on - but know that we are with you and all our state side sisters in this! Blessings!
Amanda: Tuesday night Bible study means so much more to me because I can pray for you all with my heart and VISUALIZE you in my mind since I was just there for the Scripture Memory Team Celebration!
Blessings all around to you precious ladies!
GA Jan
I will be there next week - my life is so behind from the weekend I had to take off tonight and try and get caught up. So pass me your crib notes, okay?
Oh, and get this - I won a Lifeway gift card today at my moms and mentors, so I can buy the book with it! How cool is that?
I would love to.. but it is a far commute from Illinois! Have you ever considered doing one in a different state?
Hope it went well! It's a little bit of a commute from Nashvegas to Houston on Tuesdays... but hopefully, we'll get to do the study whenever it gets rereleased by Lifeway.... :) I have the book! :) YAY!
I'm such a Beth Moore junkie now! LOL
Looking forward to seeing/meeting? you guys in Franklin soon! :)
Bitz
wish I lived closer.... would be quite a drive from nc. I hope everyone that attends never takes advantage of the rich teaching from the Lord's humble servant. I know all will be blessed who attend, especially if they go to meet Jesus and hear from Him about a man after His own heart!!! Praying for you Beth, I know you will bring Truth to the hearts and ears of those listening and praying the Holy Spirit will open those hearts and ears and just bless you as you teach! Have fun!
I actually went tonight and it was my first Bible study with Beth Moore. SO amazing. I am very much looking forward to the next 10 weeks of studying David and listening to Beth. Such a blessing to be able to be there.
Thanks Beth!!
Thanks, Beth! It was great tonight and I can't wait to start the homework.... Thank you for your tenacity in teaching us the Word. You amaze me.
I'm praying for you.
Sharon in Katy, TX
So glad you are back to your ol' self Beth:) Loving the pics of Houston:) Even though I couldn't go to SMT, I loved memorizing so much scripture:)
AND " A Heart Like His" I love that, have it on audiobook and listened to it many times, I wouldn't know about " David" or pretty much anyone in the Bible except Jesus if it wasn't for you! God bless you!
:)ang
Oh I so wish I could fly there with wings from Nebraska for the next 11 weeks and just learn from Mama Beth. But I will be praying for God to work tonight. I look forward to doing the book study. My book is ordered and I am so needing something right now. I am still a little pouty about missing the memory celebration. But I have already put my January verses in my notebook.
love to you all
Sigh...there is nothin' like your first indepth study and this was mine. I still remember the proud accomplishment I felt drawing in David's armour. That hair was somethin'...:)I dare Beth Moore to show up with that retro hairdo!
So I would totally love to relocate, and even have the flexibility to do so, however, after a weekend of trying to navigate the roads I realize that this is just not a possibility. But ya'll let me know if the church ever builds dorms onsite and I'm so there :)
Prayed for ya'll tonight while my sweet group was watching the video - we started Revelation last week.
My first live Beth Moore event. Felt like a little kid going to the toy store. Rich revelation. Can't wait until week 2
Will pray for you and all there in Houston as you dig into the study of David's life and relationship with God.
I've joined several women in our church here in Florida in starting your revised "A Woman's Heart - God's Dwelling Place" study tonight. Please pray for us as we dig into this study and seek after God in this way for the next 10 weeks!
I just got home from Bible Study! It was so good to be back in the word with everyone! Yipee!
Beth, your hair looked good girl!
Was there tonight and loved every minute of it! Will miss the "big hair" this time - JK

I have the book, so I'll "do" the study from OK. (I love this book, Beth, BTW)
Oh, Beth, I hope your back is feeling better. I have a disc problem myself and know how tiring and painful that is. Have you tried Biofreeze? It's my best friend these days.......
Love ya, praying for ya!!!
What an amazing place, FBC! What a pleasure it was to be there this past weekend with the Siesta Scripture Memory Team Celebration. Amazing!
Lovingly,
Yolanda
I must say, if all those who really wanted to drive into Houston every week for Tuesday nights could drive in for Tuesday nights, the state of Texas couldn't hold 'em!
I am a missionary in El Salvador and just started two Bible study groups both doing "A Heart like His" so far it's going great...we are on week two!! One of the studies are for young teachers that just got out of college and commited to teaching here and the other is ladies in my church...
Blessings, your "creeper" siesta Paula in El Salvador
I wish I could've been there but Perry GA is a little bit of a ride! I'm with Michelle - wish i could hop a plane once a week to join ya'll!
We started "To Live is Christ" last night at Grace Church and it was GREAT! I was CRAZY excited all day yesterday to get back in the word with a bunch of women/siestas!
we love your bible studies sooooo much. may He
continue to bless, protect, and enrich your family
with His abundant grace!
if you know any young mommies, who need some
encouragement, please send them my way. i write
as a titus 2:4 ministry for them.
thank you!
Yes, I was there last night!!! Awesome, as usual!! Love to Beth and all of LPM for doing that for us!!! See ya next week!!
Hi Amanda,
Well, we got just what we "asked for" last night....a fresh word.
As always, it was so good to see you, hug your neck and chat before study. As I told you, nothing short of death keeps me from these studies. Beth, you were all over it last night. I am seriously thinking about pasting a current picture of you over the photo in the homework book after your discussion of the hair thing. Many of us turned to the picture in our books when you were speaking of this issue so out of respect I think I must. LOL Beth you looked simply MAAAAAHvelous last night.
Love & Blessings
Christine Roskamp
Houston Siesta
I hope Bible study went great last night!
Blessings on ALL of you!
Shana
Our church has just started A Heart Like His too. Maybe we can share comments.
Oh, we are starting that same study at our church next week! I am leading it and I watched the first few VHS tapes and WOW I am so excited to see the tapes each week to learn and grow but maybe even more so to see Beth's HAIR! Its HUGE :)
First, I pray often for your family and for Living Proof because this ministry has been such a vital part of my faith journey, which has just today taken a new turn toward healing and recovery. I dare say that when the book I'm writing is published, readers will find a heaping portion of the influence of Beth's teaching in my life and on my writing.
Thanks so much, Amanda, for posting the links to the recaps of the weekend. I'm enjoying reading them and now know that mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, financially,(and any other "ally" that I might have missed) I wasn't prepared for such a weekend as this. I know other siestas would beg to differ with me, but it's possible that for me it might have done more harm than good.
Suffice it to say, I'm at this place of healing and recovery because of the knowledge I've gained through committing to heart and memory the 24 specific verses/passages of God's Word that I learned last year. My season of celebration will come - in God's good and perfect time. For now, it is enough that healing is coming.
Now, speaking of siestas, I would love to connect with any of my Scripture memory team siestas who may be coming to LPL at Idlewild Baptist, my very own home church (insert high pitched scream for affect) in April. I am so excited, and you can be sure I'll have more to say on my healing and recovery process.
Thanks again Beth, Amanda, and Melissa for all you do for the cause of Christ to serve the body. We really are all in this together and you make the sojourning a bit easier.
Much love and blessings to you,
Patti Hayes
Lutz, Florida
My prayers are with all of you all the way from Nashville. I am truly moved by how many of you are posting that you are bringing others with you to the studies. It beautifully illustrates our desire to have those we love to have what Jesus has given us. Share the love Siestas! Pray for our group as we are currently "Breaking Away" (some of us-"again!") All Praise to our Deliverer!
My mom & sister live in Houston wonder if my husband mines if I fly there every Tuesday? (Just kidding) I would soooo love to be there with ya'll! Prayers & Blessings!!
Praying for a great study for all who can attend and praying that I will be able to attend a video version!
Beth,I have to say that I just got through watching you on Life Today. You were teaching "Do Not Through Away Your Confidence". Oh, how that is what I have been going through this last several months. I thought that I was going crazy. I could not even explain to my friends and loved ones what I was going through. My anxiety about one thing bled into everything in my life.
I Praise God for giving you the ability to articulate what has went on with you. And you being open enough to share. Thank you so much. Please know what a God sent help you are.
Praise The Lord!!
What I would give to be there in person! Am curently co-leading the Esther study at my church in CNY! LOVE IT! Oh my dear Beth, what The Lord reveals to me through your teaching! I LOVE YOU!
Katie

I want to move to Houston so bad I can't stand it!! Hope to see it on video soon.
I just recieved a tag line on my FB from Lifetoday, where you said in essence...if we are living at the mercy of our past, we are not realizing the power of the HOLY SPIRIT! This is so true - When under attack, it is hard for me take a full breath, because I might give a moment to let a shameful image or distortion of the truth fill my mind's eye. Major break-throughs are happening with GOD, so this is a blessed report, but this was good confirmation from the Father. Thanks Siesta Mama! U ROCK!
Loved every minute of it...can't wait until next Tuesday...feel so blessed to be able to attend in person! Thank you for making this such an awesome experience!
I see in the ad Lifeway will be taping each session...does this mean there will be an updated version of "A Heart Like His" to be coming out? This was either my first or second Beth Moore study that I have done and I have been 'hooked' ever since. Thank you Beth for all your dedication to teaching God's Word.
This study profoundly changed my life. My "take" from it (that I soooo desperately needed) was that I can't change the past, but I can learn from it, become zealous for righteousness in my life and family, and AFFECT THE PRESENT with God on my side!!!
This study is not bearing fruit in my life.. and consequently, the lives of others. What an amazing God.
Thanks, Beth!
Linda
I was SO excited that I got to go Tuesday night! It was a last-minute decision, and I haven't been able to attend the Tuesday night studies for the past few years (scheduling issues). And I've never done this study on David before, so it's perfect!
Well, hearing Beth's voice teaching us again was so ahhhhhhhh for me. :)
Thanks LPM staff!!!
Oh Beth I so wish I could just fly in every Tuesday to the class. I am in such need of some teaching. I do a lot of teaching but I need some time with my Father and some sister's in Christ in His Word. We have a lot of snow in Lubbock right now so I will just stay here and pout and whine cause I can't come. I'll just try to make a conference somewhere this summer if you are anywhere close. Ya'll have fun without me and I'll go ahead and pray for you God has good stuff coming for you so enjoy and be blessed. Love Nita
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORAY--
Will the new DVD's been on the shelf by the first Tuesday in June? You have no idea how thrilled I am that you are doing the David study...I LOVE this one...and have done it by myself in the past. I am thinking that it may be our summer study pick-- Every summer I host the "ladies on the porch"--it thrills me to think David is an option! Thank you:)
Kimberly Orr--Zionsville Indiana
Tuesday night Bible stury at HFB with Beth keeps me going. I look so forward to it. I am one of those that gets there at 4pm to get a seat up close. I love it.
OMG... I can not wait. I will be praying for y'all.
Oh, Oh, Oh, David is my absolute favorite study. It was my first Beth Moore study and I have been madly in love with God's Word ever since. I caught the Holy Fire of Passion for God's Word from Beth. I actually say that my favorite is which ever one I am doing at that moment because God knows what I need. I am literally doing the happy dance in my seat. I have wanted to do the David study again but thought that it's so old and so many hair styles ago that perhaps it would be a distraction. God answered the desire of my heart for a David remake. HALLELUJAH!
Bless you Siesta Mama Beth. I pray that God gives you a double portion annointing to teach. I am so H-A-P-P-Y
We are starting A Heart Like His in the Garden State on Tuesday nights! We are running out of your wonderful studies--write more!
last night's class got me thinking ( as usual) i was blessed with this thought re: your "unusual" comment....Once we find our IDENTITY in Christ Alone we have FREEDOM....we can be interested in all kinds of things without having to cling to anything for an identity..ie- we aren't our job, our family, our likes/dislikes, our vacation or decorating style....we can play with so many things- we can enjoy so many things because we no longer have to hold tightly to them for our identity - we no longer have to defend an identity- Christ frees us!!!...i'm talking too much but your comment really blessed me!!!!
p.s. which lets us love freely because we aren't loving to make ourselves feel better (another of your brilliant points!! lol) which in turn make us moore(!!) unusual because we can love so many different things!!!!! now i will zipthelip!!!
It is crazy to reflect on that Steve and I have been in Spicewood west of Austin for 5 years! Beth, sometimes I think back on the ladies prayer meetings you had in your living room so many years ago. Ha! It brings tears to my eyes reflecting back on how God knits lives together for many different reasons. Sometimes we are always in touch and sometimes now and then, but what you can always count on is for your peeps in Christ to pray for you and be there for you 24-7. Right now we have about 15 ladies from our church in one of your studies "The Inheritance". It is powerful and we are only on week two. Love the pictures on your blog. I had a blast seeing Nancy Mattingly as well. I know you love being a grandmother as I do as well. We have two little dudes filling our heart with joy. Praying for your health and ministry as God uses you to bless many on your walk. Blessing and Hugs, Cindy Schneider
Beth: I am attending your Heart Like His study and just got an email that fits perfectly for the situation we are studying with Saul and his jealousy - I want to share with you:
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
"One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
"The other is God - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied,
"The one you feed."
