Esther Poll
Hi Siestas! Several people have suggested that we do Esther for our Siesta Summer Bible Study. I've added a poll to our sidebar to see how many of you have already taken it. Would you mind taking a second to give us your answer? The poll will expire in a few days.
Also, I'm excited to tell you that our LPM web site is getting a much needed makeover very soon. My hero, Curtis Jones, is working on that project. (Picture me looking very relieved.) And we have changes in the works for our blog, too. Yeah! Will you pray for us as we go through this process? I will speak for myself and say that I need God to make me much smarter than I am when it comes to all of this. Thanks, sisters! We want to serve you with excellence!

We are getting ready to start Esther on Sunday, March 29. I am sooo excited!!
I would love to do Esther with the gals!!
We are doing Annointed, Transformed, Redeemed at my church right now. I was soooo hoping our leader would choose Esther - I have been dying to do it and was actually thinking of doing it on my own this summer, so Siesta Summer Bible study would be great!!!!!
We are just about to start it in our Bible Study group.. the Soul Sisters!!! This would be great and added help as we go through it ourselves!
Just finishing up Esther with our church! This next Wednesday is the final video.
And I was so proud to point out that I used a chiastic structure in one of my blog posts last week! I typed it and then realized what I'd done! LOL
You do serve us with excellence!! Our Lord is honored!
Will the archives of the blog still be available? I have a few things I look back on time and time again...especially the siestas scripture memory. that's a fun and healing scroll worthy of time spent reading a blog!
Many thanks to all of you for all you do!

Yes, our group has taken "Esther" and it was wonderful! (I also voted on your poll.) Even now that we have finished the study we still enjoy sending each other our "It's tough being a woman" moments. I know that others will be extremely blessed by this study just as our bunch of Siestas was.
Although I am doing it now...I would LOVE to do it again in the Summer. I have missed a few weeks because of sick kids. Also, I have been doing bible study with your mom for years and she just keeps getting smarter... that makes the homework harder! I could use some coaching from you!!
Serving Him with you,
Allison
Amanda,
I know there are many things to learn when it comes to website and blog design...my prayers are indeed with you and all others working toward this goal! :) Praise God for your precious Curtis to jump in a work on the LPM website makeover! You are a blessed woman!
Rebecca
p.s. I've been wanting to do this study, so having it as the Siesta Summer Bible Study would be AWESOME!
This is very exciting! Hopefully we can do Esther together, I think that would be great.
Blessings in Him,
Siesta OC
I would LOVE to do the Esther study!
I haven't done it, and I'm dying to! Would love to do it this summer!
Just finished Esther study last week.

K...this is really hard for me to say BUT...Could we do a summer study from another author? I KNOW, I KNOW..Probably not a popular idea here...Here is my logic...I have done all of Beth's studies and LOVED THEM!! Last summer I did Kelly's and LOVED it. I try to make myself branch out to other authors but it is VERY HARD. When you guys recommended Kelly last year I was very hesitant but thought if LP recommends it...it must be good and it was! I learned so much! I pick up other studies but don't know if they would be good. I would love to participate in studies that you guys recommend. It just gives me a little reassurance before I purchase. I am logging on anonymous because I don't want hate mail!!! HAHA Love to you all!
I'm doing the study now, but would totally work through it again over the summer. It might even be nice because you can often gain even more the 2nd time around.
I have done it ... loved it and would enjoy taking it again.. Always willing to learn something new.
Lichelle
If you feel Esther has been done by too many of us, I would like to toss out the idea of doing the new Breaking Free...
I haven't done it yet, but I definately feel the Lord leading me to it. How cool to do it with Beth?! However, y'all may feel it's not the best to do online.
Just a thought!
Love Y'all!
We are going to be doing the Esther Study at our church this Fall. As a leader for our evening study I would love to do a summer study before hand.
God Bless you all, this blog has been such an encouragement in my everyday life so many times. I love you all.

I would love to do the Esther as a summer study....PLEASE............I am begging.
How does the Siesta summer Bible study work? Is it only if you're in Houston? I was thinking about trying to get a group of BSF women together over the summer and buying a leader's kit for it, so it would be nice to "coordinate".
You all do serve us with excellence! We are so thankful... you all are such a blessing : )
I have done it, but will gladly, happily, cheerfully do it again.
A.Ma.Zing.
I'm currently taking Esther - one week to go. This study came at just the right time in my life and has ministered healing.
Sylvia, Georgetown TX
I did it twice but it just got better and better!! I am so thankful for all of you!!
I would vote to do something else. I haven't done Esther yet but will be doing it in the fall with my ladies at church. I really enjoyed doing the study last summer with all the siesta's. I would think that this would leave a lot of siesta's out that really enjoyed last summer and would love to participate again this summer. Just my thoughts! Thanks!
It would be alot of fun to do Esther with Beth and the Siestas.
Candace
I was going to do it this summer so that would be great with me!
Esther
Yes- I got it for Christmas and haven't been able to do it yet.
Praise God for doing this Poll! I just ordered my "Esther" book from Lifeway.com last week with the intention to do this study (minus the videos) on my own over the summer. How Great it would be to do it along with fellow Siestas! I will pray it works out : )
Also Praise God for Curtis! Can't wait to see the web and blog improvements. Love you all... you're all in my prayers!

I actually just finished Esther this past Tuesday and loved it. But I am so incredibly excited about taking Breaking Free and about fell out of my chair in bible study last week when it was announced Beth had revised it. And we are suppose to be starting it in the fall! I can not wait!!!!!!!!
OH yes please lets do it. What fun it would be. Willing to pay for it.

I just wanted to say that, while I have done the Esther Bible Study, I was already planning to do it again this summer (even if it was by myself). I just feel like I didn't get everything out of it that was waiting on me... so, I'd be happy to do it all over again!
Not yet, but we are planning to do Esther for our fall women's Bible study.

we are in the middle of Ester right now
Finishing it soon. Love it!
Almost finished with Esther. There are no words to describe the change it has made in the lives of every single woman in the bible study - starting with myself. We even had the privilege of witnessing first hand some "reversals of destiny" in some women we were praying for. One woman MIRACULOUSLY healed of liver cancer. Another woman in the middle of nasty court proceedings on Friday - got a new judge on Monday - and got some unexpected favor.
We finish next week but it absolutely worthy of doing again and again.
Can't wait to see the changes God is bringing.
Love you all -
Kim
We have a summer Bible study in my home, and we'll be doing Esther. I've been "chompin' at the bit" to do it since it was releasesd! Can't wait!
My Mom and I are in! We are thirsty for a good study!
Starting week 8 -
I took a little quiz on facebook yesterday titled "What woman of the Bible are you" and my answer was Esther! I guess it is wearing off on me!
My favourite so far is the illustration of God letting us get on point, in order to turn us to His purpose.
I would LOVE to do the Esther study this summer!! I have heard so many wonderful things about it from the many women in my church who are taking it now. If you do offer it, please let us know the most cost-effective way to follow along (many times I don't do these studies because I cannot afford them - but I'm thinking that maybe I just don't know enough about how to do the studies on my own in an affordable way).
You are all such a blessing. Much love! :)stacy
Praying for you guys! Those are two huge projects you are taking on, but with God's wisdom ya'll can do it! Can't wait to see it!
Taking it right now!
I would love you to lead us in "Esther", Beth. Count me in!
LPM,
Eventhough I have already taken Beth Moore's Esther Bible Study(will complete Session 9 this upcoming week) with a group of women at the church I attend, I would welcome retaking Esther as a Siesta Summer Bible Study.
I have recommended the Esther study to several women who were not able to participate with our group & had several women say, "I hope the Esther Bible Study is offered again soon"& " From all the wonderful things I am hearing about this Bible Study from so many people, I am sorry I missed out this time around!".
To get insight on Esther from the writer(Beth Moore)on a possible bi-weekly basis similar to the No Other Gods Bible Study this past summer would be welcomed.
Thank you for suggesting Esther as a Summer Siesta Bible Study.
Amanda,
I am blown away by the richness of this book. As we wrapped up Esther Session 7 today and began our "Turn Arounds" I got really weepy and truly don't want it to end. Not because I don't want to move on to the next thing God has for me. Somehow I just feel like there is more I need to learn here.
As a facilitator I would love to see the 50%+ of the women who haven't taken this study yet experience it here on the blog during the summer and I would be delighted to revisit it if it meant they would see something for the first time. And I am never quite foolish enough to think that I've learned all I can about a subject. :)
Do you know what I mean?
Blessings as we serve Him
shoulder to shoulder,
Dori
I have not done it, and it is being done in two groups at my church right now...just not at a time that I can go. So I would love it to be the summer one!
I have not done Esther, but would love to. Just wondering though if we would need the videos as I am not able to purchase them, nor is my church.
I feel your pain with the website I am lost when people start speaking the language of the internet. Am I the only one that misses comodor 64? All I had to do was put in a disk (floppy) and type load "*", 8,1 and the game or whatever would pop up. Oh those were the days!
I completed the Esther study this morning. (There are 60 women in my group who can say the same thing come Tuesday.) Can I suggest Margaret Fineberg's book and study "The Sacred Echo"?
Oh it would be so wonderful to have Esther as our Siesta Summer Bible study! I can't tell you how excited I am about that! I have had a couple of opportunities to do it recently and just didn't feel free to do it. The times or child care didn't seem to work out.
Let me tell you this blog and your website have been such blessings to me. And I am so excited to see that there is going to be a simulcast again this year... praying for a church near me! Though I live only a couple of hours away from Green Bay, I just can't afford to go and stay overnight. So THANK YOU for opening up this opportunity to so many more people!
God bless you as you continue your ministry. You all have been such an encouragement to me, to all of us!

I did the study of Esther on my own and, also, with my church group. We just finished.
One of my most favorite segments was the interview with the Jewish rabbi. What a wealth of information. I fell in love with the Jewish people all over again. Thank you.

Our ladies Bible study group is planning to start Esther in early May. We are looking so forward to it!!
I'm in the middle of the Esther Bible Study, and it is awesome!! (Thanks for explaining "G.P.")
Tonight my group wraps up the study of Esther. Loved the ride!
I would love to do the Esther study especially since we are a couple of weeks away from finishing up our Daniel study with our ladies at church. Also, when will there be another online study available? love all you do Carla
I vote for Esther!!! Please!
Hey Amanda,
I don't know if anyone is doing Esther in our church coming up. I have not wanted to do a in depth Bible study this bad in a long time. So, I just went to Lifeway in Katy 1 week ago and bought it. I am doing it at home by myself and loving it. So, yes.
Also, I will pray for you all as you update the site. You already serve us with excellence.
I do think y'all should do Esther for your Siesta Summer Bible Study. I would do it again!
No
Amanda,
I am taking Esther now, but would love to go through a second time this summer. I have missed three sessions in a row, so to repeat would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I will finish next week. It has been one of the "meatiest" (don't know if that is a word but meaningful) studies that I have ever done! I'm not one that likes to watch movies more than once or read books but I think I could do the study over and over! Loved it
I'm so excited to start Esther!
I've really been enjoying learning all about Paul in To Live is Christ. Amanda & Melissa were teens when Beth did that study - I love hearing about things you did then and knowing how y'all are now! FUN!
Hi all, I'd be up for anything to study with the siestas this summer. I haven't done the Esther study yet and am axious to do it, but whatever is decided will be fine. I am also glad to hear you are tweaking the website some, especially the blog. The left margin is sometimes hard to read with the pink font on black. These eyes ain't what they used to be. Love you all in Christ. Roseanna from Bloomington, Indiana
I have and loved it!!!
I'm so excited, I can't wait to see the new look of the LPM blog. I will definitely keep this in my prayers. Thanks for this blog, it is a blessing to me.
Our group just finished Esther this morning. I think it was the best one yet! Taking my "turn it around" cards with me in my purse! You never know when a woman needs to "turn around" during her day!

I am in the middle of Esther right now. LOVE IT!!!
YES! YES! YES!!
Did I make that answer clear enough? (grin) I vote "for sure YES!" on doing Esther, with Mama Beth and the Siestas for the Summer time...
I've been dying to do it, but can't seem to find a group, or fit it in with homeschooling schedules and kids.
LOVE THIS IDEA! So once more, just to clarify, that would be a "yes" vote for me. :)
I am currently taking Esther. It is awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone.
I voted, saying that "I'm currently doing it". However, I'm doing it really, really slowly right now, and if it's decided that Esther will be the summer siesta Bible study, then I'm very willing to hold off on it for now. It would be much more fun to do it with other siestas than by myself right now.
I would love to do Esther. My hubby bought me the workbook for Christmas because we thought I would be able to take the study at a local church in February. But their plans changed and the church decided to do a different study. So I have the workbook and it's just waiting to be done! How would you do the study being that it's a video driven study? Just curious!
Take care and I look forward to seeing the new website and blog changes!
Karen
We are getting ready to start Esther in 2 weeks.
Pam
I am in the middle of Esther right now - I would do it again if that is what we do, but would prefer something I haven't done so recent. Thanks for giving us the chance for input.
I was JUST telling someone this morning that I want to do Esther but may have to wait until my church has it next Fall! Sooooo excited that this might happen right on here this summer! Woohoo!!!!! :)
I think that would be awesome !
I am trying to do the study right now. However, it seems to be quite a different type of study, as I have been having some difficulties following along with the homework.
When would the Siesta Summer study begin ?

While I love love love Beth's studies it was kinda nice to do another study with Beth as part of the group. So...my vote would be for something else. Also, for individuals who are studying along it is cheaper to do a study that is just a workbook because I know I wouldn't be able to afford the whole Esther study right now.
We have loved Esther - the book, the woman and the study. We're in the last week and I put off doing my homework because once it's done, it's done!
But reading Chapter 9 verses 1-15 made me think of a turnaround. It's hard being a woman when you have to do a man's job! I don't mean this in a male-bashing way. But Esther had to clean up a mess that Saul was instructed to do.
I think women encounter this problem from time to time when our men won't step up and be the spiritual leader or be the husband they should be...it's a sad, frustrating feeling. We have a difficult enough time doing our stuff much less their's!
Thank you for the gift of "Esther".

I have not done Esther yet, however my ladies Bible study group would like to do it together in the fall. We will be taking a break over the summer while I go to India in June then become a Gigi (grandma) in late July. ya'll have fun! Maybe next year I can join the summer group.
If you all chose to do the Esther study online would there be anyway you could include closed captions on the videos? I am hearing impaired and I can not tell you how much the captions help! Even if you don't caption, it won't keep me away!

I will pray for you as you work in changing the blog. Trust me sister, I pray all the time God will make me smarter than I am in designing and changing my blogs. :)
Have a great day!
Love,

I have NOT done Esther yet and have heard GREAT things, so I'm all for it!
Oh please, please, please. I am moving this summer and I am SO disappointed that I cannot do the Esther study with my usual church group. I was hoping to find a way to still do it somehow. So please, please, please!
For the record, I've done Esther, but I can't think of a single BM bible study that I wouldn't be willing to go through again.
I have heard about the summer Bible study but don't know how it works. Is it on the internet or is it done in Houston? My group just finished The Patriarchs and I have to say I think it is my favorite and I didn't think I would like anything better than BELIEVING GOD! We are not starting another study until September.
I feel so blessed through LPM. I love you all more than chocolate (and I can't say that about a lot of things!!) I am looking so forward to OKC in December. Between that and the January gathering it is sure making my year fly by.
Thanks for all your love and encouragement!
Jan Witt
Ok, I took the Esther poll and this is why I don't like polls, you have to give a definitive answer. I had to answer that I have already taken it when I want to say, I have already taken it BUT would love to do it again. We did not break into small groups or even have a good discussion of homework so I missed out on that.
Done it- thanks- wishs there was some way to study the Inheritance series just finished in Houston-
I would LOVE to do Esther for the summer study. I purchased the study guide, but have not done it yet. I would love to host a group of women to do this study.
We're doing it right now and enjoying every minute of it.
You got 'em, Sister! Can't wait to see the fun things you have in store for us!
I have not taken Esther yet but have heard it was so awesome that I actually bought the workbook just to read over it. I would love to do it this summer! We really enjoyed doing Kelly's last summer!
I voted, but I just wanted to say that even though I just finished it, I would be happy to do it again. I learned so much and I'm sure that there's lots more to learn. BTW, I'm still celebrating!! Praise God!
I am currently in Week 8 of Esther, and LOVING IT!!!!! This study is fabulous. I have learned so much about the book of Esther, and God is showing me so much about myself. Thanks Beth, and all of you who work so hard to make studies like Esther a reality.
Please let's do Esther!!!
Yes, I would LOVE to do Esther for the summer study. I am doing it right now and was thinking that I wanted to spend more time in it with commentaries and thought about doing it this summer myself -count me IN. I really enjoyed the study last summer.
BeBe
I'm in the middle of it and I have to say it's been such an encouragement for me. I honestly think one could do it multiple times and receive new teachings from it each time. Someday I'll write to you about what it has done for me!
Look forward to a new look!
I'll be praying for you! Can't wait to see the new creations!
I think doing Esther this summer would be so cool! I could do it before I facilitate it in the Fall!
Sending much love your way this day!
We just finished Session Seven, and let me just tell you, Miss Texas, I am enjoying the heck out of this study. Never before have I been so excited, nay, so ECSTATIC, to read (and study) God's Word. However, I so look forward to the next time I crack it open to find out what new twist or turn has taken place.
And the DVDs... well just don't even get me started. Anyone who willingly admits to "fixing" her hair with a small, black, plastic fork is OK in my book! I almost fell right out of my chair from laughter.
Your zeal for the Lord and His mighty Word translate so purely through those DVDs. True, you know how to have a good time and laugh it up, but you know when it's time to get serious and meditate on the Scriptures.
I thank God for using you as a vessel to promote the study of His Word in such a fun and exciting way. Thank you for dedicating yourself and staying the course. I can't wait to do another country style, Beth Moore, Bible study.
our local women's Bible study just completed it and it was WONDERFUL. I found out I handled relaying information of the step children's misbehavins to my husband WAY wrong (pointin fingers, tattlin, like I said WAY wrong) and YES it is ALL about GOD's timing in our lives.
You and your girls done good with that study, Beth!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am more interested in getting my church to be a host for the simulcast in August....... please email me with pointers to sell it to my church council and my pastor.

My Women's Bible Study is in the middle of Esther and loving it. Thanks for clearing up the GP.
We were discussing what it meant yesterday. Can't wait to share with them.

I am one of the women who is just near the end of Esther - actually we only have one more week to go. IT IS AN INCREDIBLE STUDY!!! If you continue to get at least a 50% poll of people who have NOT yet done it - I say DO IT FOR THE SUMMER SIESTA STUDY!
The study and the teaching videos are just wonderful - and I've done nearly all of Beth's studies.
Yesterday - watching session 8 - I'm telling you - that was some anointed/right on teaching!!!
I had just been battling some fears that God seemed to point out were simply in my head!!!! Now, I'm just working with my scripture cards and looking for those reversals of destiny!!!
Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you - God is using your ministry - All Glory, Praise and Honor to HIM!!
I am working on the last week of homework this week. It's such an awesome study!!! I'd take it again! Thank you for letting God use you in such an amazing way!!
I took Esther when Beth first presented it at our home church. LOVED it!
I loved, loved, loved Esther!
Praying for technology updates. Thanks for keeping everything fresh, exciting, inspiring, and fun!

We're halfway through Esther right now. What a GREAT study! I've told some friends we need to have a "Meanness Party" and show Video Teaching #3 and then have discussion time for any woman who wants a good, hearty, fresh word from the Lord - not just those in the study. Seriously, that is one of the best teachings on a subject matter that matters to every single one of us. I think every woman could/would benefit from it!!
Trying to be nice (smile!),

I'm in the 4th week of Esther right now--I would love to do something else, though!
We are taking Esther right now so I probably won't do it again this summer, although it is good enough to do just that!!!
We just started Esther and I began my second week of homework this very morning!! Loving it! Since I'm somewhat new to this blog I'm not familiar with what you are talking about but repeating a study is always good!
And technology I have found is a love - hate relationship!! I'll pray for you and I hope you'll remember to pray for me!! I definitely need more wisdom and understanding - I don't know if this is a new word but I call myself a "tech-illit" (say it fast, it's kinda cute!) I am getting better, byte by byte (little cyber humor there!) Have a wonderful day!!
PS I have found it really helps when working on computers to walk away for a time...if you know what I mean :-)
I haven't done it yet!! Would love to do it with the Siestas!!
We are going to do the Esther study at our church this fall.
I would LOVE another Summer Siesta Bible study, but I have ALREADY done Esther. It was GREAT by the way...thanks for that! Loved doing Kelly's book last summer. Will pray for the final decision to be EXACTLY what all of us need to be doing together!
We are beginning Esther in April in church but having 4 kids on 4 different ball teams is going to prevent my attending most of the sessions. SO, maybe between my invisible friends and my home girls I can get the entire thing in! :))
Beth thank you so much for the Esther study the last sessions 4-6 were so life changing for me and YOU Beth have changed my life!you have an incredilbe talent to bring Gods word and love for me for who i am you make it so real and reachable.i love you dearly for what you do for us women (siestas)
God is so Good! blessing always

I am presently doing the Esther study.SOOOOO good and convicting and challenging and comforting. In Jesus' Love Kathy Knoblock
Amanda,
Can we still do Esther even if alot of us have done it already? Your Mom's studies never get old.
I had the most amazing reversal of destiny/fortune and I've had alot!

Let's do study again if you guys feel led by the Holy Spirit.
Love and prayers,

I am currently doing the esther study.
I'm facilitating it right now with our ladies Bible study group but I'd be thrilled to go thru it again with you guys. I'll be in Poland on a volleyball/mission trip mid-June to July 8 but count me in!!!!

I thought one of the kind of cool things about Summer Siesta Bible Study was that Beth was facilitating another author's study. Don't get me wrong - we rarely waiver in our loyalty to LPM studies - we've done 11! But for her to suggest and recommend another one was pretty cool and we really enjoyed it. (We're also just about to wrap up Esther, so I could be being selfish!) I also have a daughter getting married this summer, so me and summer siesta may be moot point anyway! Just my two cents!
i would love to participate
Is the summer study something that you do online that anyone can participate in or is it at your home church in Texas?
How can I be involved if I live someplace like.... lets say.... Wisconsin? :)
Oh I would so love to do Esther this summer! I'm starting a new job on Monday so I have to drop out of my Study on Thursday mornings!!! I'll be happy with anything, but I'd be over the moon to do Esther with everyone! Love you all. Praying for smarts (I really need them for my new job)!
Judy
Yes..yes..yes to the Esther study. I did it at home-alone and would love to do it on-line with everyone.
Praying for Curtis and all of you at LPM while the changes occur. It's my favorite place to come each time I come to the computer. It will look like a whole new outfit for LPM!!
I voted - Have not done.
But my Bible study is doing it next fall.
I wonder how many other "have not done" are have already got in on the calendar for the near future.
Lauri
All the best for the techie updates. I know they will be beautiful!
I check already did Esther on the poll but would like to choose "Already did it and would love to do it again"!
Deepest thanks for all the work you do. I love you Moore siestas bunches.

Sending prayers from Germany for your new site, it's a HUGE blessing for us overseas!!! I know I've stayed out of the pit by the accountability to stay in the Word, especially when it's cold, dreary and rainy for months...and months...and months.... Did I mention it's a HUGE blessing? :)
Would love to particpiate via blog on Esther! I lead our ladies bible study at church and we are planned out for the next year, would love to have this "feeding time" for me! Great Idea!
I'm new to the blog, and I've done a few Beth Moore bible studies and have been so blessed by them. I've been wanting to do Esther since I heard about it. How do the summer studies work? Thank you so much for all you do for us women!! :)
I am loving the Esther study!! Eight of us meet in my home every Wednesday night. I also love the blog. I don't comment often, but read it daily. Recently when I checked it, my 6 year old daughter, Isabel saw the small picture of Beth on the LPM home page and exclaimed, "Mommy! There's your teacher!!" I smiled and replied, "Yes, Baby, there's my teacher."
Love from snowy Colorado,
Christy
As much as I would love to join in on the study of Esther with all the siestas, I cannot afford the DVD's on my own. Our WOW group may do Esther as our Bible study in the fall if the new "Breaking Free" isn't out by then. Is it (Breaking Free) going to be ready by this September??? I am so looking forward to it! We will do Esther in January.

I sing in our church choir & our practices are at the same time as the classes, so I am not able to see the videos. I would love to read Esther this summer when choir take a break!
Thanks for asking,
Jamila Crawford
That would be awesome - haven't done it yet.
Just started "No Other Gods" with the Wed. night group I facilitate...it impacted me so much last summer I wanted to share it again!
I'd love for you to do Esther. I've purchased it and have already thought about doing it this summer! Perfect timing...God's timing, of course:)

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to do Esther this summer. I have been praying about a way to do this study. Yippee!!
I have not taken the Esther study. I would LOVE to do it.

I just finished the Esther study and LOVED LOVED LOVED it.
This is one that I will bring to memory many times!
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard on this study...man it showed!
Not that my opinion will sway anyone, but it was really refreshing to do another author's study with a Beth Moore twist. It just added another layer to a great study and encouraged us to branch out. Maybe a Priscilla S. one this time???
I'm taking it right now. And loving every minute of it! God is doing big things in me through it.
Fellow Siestas:
Ester, It's Tough Being A Woman........It's a good one, you don't want to miss this one either.
Wow Baby!
I now know what the book of Ester is about. Before....I didn't....Now I do. :0)
Becky/Brentwood
I think that is a fabulous idea!
I haven't done it, but would LOVE to!
What does it mean for us to do a "Summer Siesta Bible study?"
Esther summer Bible study...the thought makes me smile :)
would love to do it.

Amanda,
Please cancel my previous post. After I left my comment, I discovered the sidebar poll that you had indicated. I'm just LITTLE slow some days!! Sorry.
I am right in the middle of the Esther Bible study and loving every minute of it!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't as saavy with the blog scene. I'm blessed to be able to update my blog and post pictures. That was an amazing accomplishment that took me months!! Thanks for the encouragement!!! Our bible study group will probably offer Esther in the Fall - I hear it is AWESOME so I can't wait!!!
I am currently taking the Esther study.
I would suggest that there is no better time than now to jump in and experience this wonderful bible study. Although I feel pressed on every side daily, there is a happiness in my heart that can only be explained by being in His word and in the book of Esther at such a time as this. I'm so thankful for Living Proof and the transparency of you ladies. I love each one of you dearly.
God Bless you all in a mighty way!
Yes! Please do Esther for Summer Bible Study. Change is good right? Just keep the picture of the paint can for the blog. I LOVE it! Love you too!
My Bible Study just started it.
I was so excited when you mentioned the survey in the first video....I looked at my sisters and said, "I was in that!".
No, I haven't done Esther yet!
What's the Seista Summer Bible Study? Is that something I can do right here online at the blog? If so that sounds great, and I would love doing Esther.

I am a missionary in Mexico. I have done all of the previous Beth Moore studies with my siestas in Canada but since moving here, I usually have to do studies on my own. I miss bible Studies in English with people committed to them. This would be such a blessing and I actually bought the workbook on my last furlough. Bring Esther on!!!
Amanda, I for one am grateful for your blog page. I have only discovered it recently and am thrilled by it. Congradulations on your baby-what a beautiful family.
Unfortunately I do not live in Houston-maybe someday God will move us there. I would so much love being involved in your Tuesday night studies. I do however partake of Wednesdays with Beth and wouldn't miss them for the world.
Blessings and favor to you and your ministry. Beth is such a beautiful person. If she only knew how much impact she was having on my life alone, what a blessing.
Beth, we are best friend's you just don't know it, ha ha! I LOVE the Esther study we are finishing it up and it is my favorite so far. I just LOVE it! I saw the spittle too in the video, I was laughing so hard because I remember you talking about that on the blog. Thanks so much for all you all do! I am blessed by your ministry so much! Hugs!!
Even though I am doing I wouldn't mind one bit doing during the summer too :)
Just completed the Esther study with a group of about 50 women from the First Baptist Church in Steelville, Missouri. It was great.

I am currently doing the audio CD study and workbook, but by myself! And I'm missing siestas to discuss all the wonderful lessons with! So I think a summer Esther would be great.
I would be very much interested in doing the Esther Bible Study.
I haven't done it and was considering it for my next study...so I would LOVE to do it this summer.
Thanks,
Amanda B.
Even though I am leading this study now, I do believe it would make a great study for the summer -such a good study for younger girls who may have been so busy with school they could not take the study. My vote is a YES!!!!
I just finished Esther, but I've already told my husband that I was diving back in again!
My life has already gone through so many changes since I started it that I NEED another go!
:)
haven't done Esther yet... would love to do it this summer!
I think that's a great idea!! I've bought the book, but I haven't done it yet because I didn't have anyone to do it with.
(My church is doing it, but it's at a time that I can't make)
We are smack dab in the middle of Esther at my church. However, I would be glad to study through once again for the benefit of our dear siestas who have not yet done Esther.
I am looking forward to the changes on the LPM website and blog site.
Hugs everyone!
Mary
Hi Amanda,
If you do the study, will you be showing the video sessions as well?
I would LOVE to do the Esther study!!! My friend Gwen is doing it with her ladies Bible study in Richmond, VA, and she's really enjoying it! PLEEEEASE????
No, I haven't read the Esther study/book. Would love to.

I would love to do Esther this summer!!
I'm too new to this blog to know how a summer study works, but I know I'd love to do it, whatever that means!!!!
today we finished up the esther at our ladies bible study at church and i have to day it was very bittersweet!
thank you beth for all you do!
blessings to you mr friend!
Would love to do this but can not afford to purchase the leader kit on my own. Would it be possible to post groups that would have access to the leader kit DVDs in our area? I would LOVE to do this study this summer!!
Slidell, LA
I would be greatly blessed by a summer siesta study of Esther! I am so excited!!
There was a chiastic structure on a marquee at a local church a few weeks ago and it was so neat to recognize it!
It was:
Don't tell God how big the storm is,
Tell the storm how big your God is.

I'm in! I'm missing being in a study right now.
We're doing Esther in the Fall for our Thursday morning bible study. I'd love to do another Bible study from another teacher this summer - it was so wonderful to be introduced to No Other God's last summer.
On that note, I sooooo love Beth's teaching but would love to know other bible study leaders that are wonderful, too. I just don't know many others . . . Any suggestions?
We just finished the study of Esther at my church, it has brought a togetherness in our group of ladies plus some that were not members. We have so much to learn from each other. As I shared with one person, I have wallowed in it, absorbed it in every way. Another lady said the study had answered a lot of personal questions for her. It helped her to see the "Hamans" in her life and how to deal with them.
Thanks, Beth, my heart overflows!
I would LOVE to do Esther this summer. Several Siestas on twitter... would that make us twittering siestas... anyway, several of us are talking about doing Esther together -- in the virtual sense.
Short answer -- this works for me!!
WE are half way through Esther, great study! suggestions for a summer study? something refreshing and not too long, since summers are always busy especially for minister's wives who run summer camps and BVS.
We just completed Esther and as always...it was awesome...
Will be finishing Esther next week prior to Easter vacation and then having a Bible-based movie of Esther as a closing finale the following week after vacation. Having already previewed it, I think it will be neat for the ladies to see what we have so vividly read and listened to Beth's teaching describe be put on the screen with actors and actresses depicting the conflict and subsequent reversals of destiny. Absolutely in favor of doing Esther for the summer study also. There was so much... With 7 ways thus far it is tough being a woman who... one is bound to need encouragement as we encounter another one of those seven. As Beth says, "Amen, anyone?"
We just finished our final session on Wednesday. It was great! I am continually amazed at Beth's ability to put into words the questions, fears and desires that I have or have had throughout my life. I am so thankful for her and her team's passion to study and share God's word. I highly recommend it!
Also, I would love to know where I can find a copy of the poem that she read in the last session (about the small town high school girl).
I did Esther there in Houston with you. :) Great study!
My church has just ended it two weeks ago and it was incredible! Praise God for giving Beth Moore the tools to write such life changing Bible studies!!

We are in the middle of Esther now. I should be doing week 6 homework but I'm reading the blog. I would take this study again in a heartbeat and especially if it's with Mama Beth and the Siestas. I love this study. Mama Beth gets better and better with every study.

I voted, but wanted to comment too. I am currently doing Esther and it is absolutely awesome. We started in late Feb, so we just watched session 3 tonight. Beth, your story about the guy "ordering" his Big Mac at the McDonald's trash can still has me laughing uncontrollably. This has been an amazing study. I look forward to diving into God's Word each day. Love you all,
Susan in OKC
We are just about to finish. 2 more weeks left. It has been wonderful. I am so enjoying it and you are just a hoot and a holler.
We just finished (on Purim)leading 2 Esther studies (one at night, one during the day) at our church, with a total of about 55 women. It was great!!!

My sister and I are hoping to borrow Esther series from my church and do it together this summer. How fun it would be to do it with all the siestas! Can't wait! Sure hope you select it!

I'm right there with another gal's post.
We did Annointed, Transformed and Redeemed and are doing Esther in the future.
I had planned to buy the CD's and do it myself this summer.
I figured it was a good one to do twice.
I assume each group or individual will have to come up with the CD's or purchase the download videos or DVDs.
Count me in!
Couldn't wait... Started the Esther as soon as we got it shipped to us. Loving the peripities!
We're doing the Esther study in the fall. I so loved doing the Kelly Minter study last year. The accountability was amazing.
I wish your poll would have had a button that said "will be doing the study in the future"
and/or
Haven't done the study and would or would not be interested in doing the study in the summer...
