Here are the username and password so y'all can see Rich's pictures until we get the slideshow up and running. Thanks!

Rich just sent me this panoramic he made of all the Siestas together.

Hi Siestas!
I have a couple of links for you today. First, for those of you who attended the Siesta Fiesta, go here to download the group pictures that Rich Kalonick took for us. They are full resolution and printable. Use the username and password you were given on Saturday and make sure they are typed in lowercase letters.
Second, if you have written a Siesta Fiesta recap on your blog, you can put a link to your post on the LifeWay All Access Blog or on Kim and Patty's Siesta Fiesta Blog. It's been really neat to read all the posts about the weekend and see pictures.
I honestly don't know where to begin when it comes to my own recap of our big weekend together. I could not have imagined how fun it was going to be to meet all of you in person. What a thrill! I left with a big smile on my face and an ache in my heart for MORE TIME.
So here's my play-by-play. Mom and I flew into San Antonio and immediately met up with Melissa. We went to lunch at J. Alexander's at the Alamo Quarry Market (such a neat place!). After that, Rich and Ron drove us to the Alamodome for Mom's sound check and prayer time over the arena. When we walked in the dome, I honestly got dizzy and nearly fell over because of how massive the place was. Luckily the team had set up the event in one end of the dome and because of some giant curtains, it seemed like the appropriate size. I can't even imagine that place filled to capacity.
A few minutes later we checked into our hotel room. We happened to run into Melanie/Big Mama while we were unloading the car. She is so much fun. We had a little problem with my mom's room because, hello, the people wouldn't check out of her room! (And it was well past checkout time.) So she had to hang out with Melissa and me for a while. This was not a good thing because she needed some solitude to prepare for that night. Melissa needed a nap (having not slept at all the night before), so I called Melanie and asked if I could come hang out in her room for a while. We got to chat for a while about everything from how potty training is the great equalizer to her husband's and my dad's love of Texas Trophy Hunters magazine. I enjoyed it so much.
Then it was time to get ready and head over to the Siesta Fiesta check-in! It was so exciting to walk up and see everyone in action. I got to meet Patty, whom I have corresponded with for about six years, for the very first time. How fun! I loved getting to meet so many Siestas as they checked in. What a joy to connect a face with a screen name! It seemed like just the blink of an eye before I was whisked away to dinner. Y'all know Pregnant Girl can't skip a meal. I have to feed the fig/lemon/Nutter Butter/apple/baby!
The conference began at 7:00. I have to say that the praise team was so anointed the entire weekend. Wow. I asked Travis at the end of the conference, "If y'all can sing like that, what must God sound like when He sings?" They led us right to the throne to worship the Lord.
Mom taught on the theme of Inheritance. There are so many things she said that I can't stop thinking about. It was a feast of the Word and personally, I left the conference feeling so loved by God.
After the third session concluded, our family got to have a very quick lunch and prepare to meet with our Siestas. The Alamodome catering staff served us THE best quesadillas I've ever had in my life. Seriously. What is sad is that I can never go to a restaurant and find these quesadillas again. Travis was sitting next to me while I went on and on about their goodness and he said, "I am witnessing a blogable moment right now." Truly. Travis, I hope I did not disappoint.
The clock struck one before we knew it and it was time to begin! We went out into the arena floor where the Siestas had already gathered. They were arranged in smallish groups and Mom, Melissa and I just jumped in to each one while Rich did his magic with the camera.
For the rest of the time, the Siestas sat in a section of seats and Mom, Melissa and I sat on three chairs on a platform. We gave away some door prizes and in the process met a Siesta who had flown in from Tokyo(!!!), a Siesta who had been married 58 years, a Siesta with eleven children, a Siesta with my same due date, a Siesta who got engaged on Thursday night to a great guy on the Event Team, two Siestas who had road-tripped from Wyoming with "Miesta Moose," a newlywed Siesta, and several Siestas who celebrated birthdays that weekend. We also got to meet three Siestas whose hard work, creativity, and leadership made the weekend all that it could be. We spent the rest of our time doing a Q&A session. I don't know what it was like to listen to from the Siestas' end, but we had a lot of fun doing it. And I will always remember that Baby Jones #2 received his or her first gift at the Siesta Fiesta. It is a very soft and very precious blanket with little giraffes on the four corners. It is monogrammed to say, "Shh... I'm taking a Siesta." How fun is that? I will treasure it forever.
Before we knew it, our time was up. We had to get in the minivan and head to the airport. The Four Original Moores talked all the way home about the great weekend God had given us. He was so faithful! Thank You, Lord!
Huge thanks to our ministry director Sabrina and to all of our co-workers who helped us through the registration process amidst my transition to working part time. Thanks to everyone at LifeWay who put many extra hours of work into planning and executing the Siesta Fiesta. You girls (and guys) were incredible. Thanks to Holly for making the amazing cookbooks that contain tons of recipes from this blog and that will help drill a water well through Life Outreach International. Last but certainly not least, thank you, thank you, thank you to Kim and Patty and their team of volunteers who did everything in their power to help the Siestas make the most of their weekend together. T-shirts, tote bags, lunch, a riverboat cruise, sign-in, name tags, the pajama party...oh my word! We Siestas are so blessed by you! We appreciate the untold hours of planning, work, and prayer you invested in our weekend.
And thank YOU, Siestas near and far, those we've met and those we haven't yet, for enriching our lives so much. We love all of you to pieces!
P.S. I just spoke to my mom and she sends all her love. She says she keeps picturing your sweet faces!

I was incredibly blessed and encouraged by this past weekend!
Could you post the prayer/blessing that Beth had us give each other?
Thank you for all you did to make this such a wonderful event... praise the Lord for choosing us as His inheritance!
love from Jennifer
My first day back to school today was a DOOZY...I laughed at myself and thought about how "not boring" this life is! As I walked through the door with water streaming off me (lots of rain), water squishing out of my shoes and soaked hair, clothes, etc. it seemed like everyone in the library took a look over. I shook a little water off and said, "Next time I lose my umbrella I will pick a sunny day!" I then went forward to one disaster and then another...NOT BORING.
I'm still trying to recover...Can't wait to look at all the group pictures!
Love you girls!
Hi ladies! We are no longer posting the commissioning statements online because they recap messages that Beth may want to expound on down the line. We actually don't have the San Antonio commissioning at the moment anyway since Beth is out of town. So sorry about that! Have a blessed day!
Also, I have no idea why all the comments disappeared from the recap video post. Weird!
I was wondering what happened, because my comment on the recap video post isn't there!!
Amanda,
We had such a great weekend. My friend Keiko was taken aback with the welcome she received from your mom. She is a new Christian and was so overwhelmed on Friday night. She felt inadequate due to the language/cultural barriers. We went back to the room and prayed that God would translate everything into Japanese in her spirit and he did! She so enjoyed it all. Thank you for all your hard work and for making her feel special.
I might have just missed it but I don't remember getting a password for the pictures. We were in the yellow group (first one) so maybe I just missed it. Can you help?
Again, thank you for all you do and thank you, your mom, Travis and all of LPM for the fabulous weekend. We love you.
Forever His,
Lawan Rivera

Oh it sounds like y'all had such a blessed weekend!! I SO wish I could have been there and HOPE so much that this is able to happen again in the future!! :)
oh how I loved every minute of Texas. The back scratcher went over well...my child claimed it as her own as soon as I picked it up. She thinks it is a large fork. I still need to give some hair awards out. Especially to the cutest little thing ever...Sabrina's daughter. ADORABLE! Loved you all!
So much fun. I loved every minute in San Antonio, it was amazing. How God must love us to give us such a blessing as your mom to lead us into His word with such passion. The Siesta Fiesta forum after was so much fun, we loved the fun and crazy women who we met and are so glad that we now have all of Melissa's hair styling routine. God has used Mrs. Supperman in so many ways, I hope she is enjoying her break.
I can't tell you how special this weekend was. I know I'm not alone when I say that I can't stop thinking about ALL of it - the WORD, the MUSIC, the SIESTAS. Amazing, amazing time!
If I had been passed the microphone at the Fiesta, this is what I would've said:
Beth:
Thank you for doing the work to stay broken and surrendered before God. I know that's the only way you could possibly be used for such influence without being destroyed in the process. You've mentioned that the enormity of your ministry is not what you asked for, but you keep stepping forth, obediently, and thousands upon thousands of us are walking deeper and truer because of it.
I want you to know that I'm praying for you regularly, that God would continue to hold you up and pour into you His strength to press on - and that the rest of us could manage to follow your example. I love you sweet sister.
Amanda:
Thank you for starting and maintaining this blog community that has become a family to so many of us. Your sweet spirit and quiet, steadfast faith shines through every part of it.
Melissa:
I love your contributions to the blog. They make me think, often long after I read them, and almost always send me running to dictionary.com! I love that! You have a fierceness to your faith that I really admire. And my husband wanted me to thank you for the really great recipes! :o)
Thanks again for the time you spent with us on Saturday - AND, by the way - what password info for the pictures? If we were told I missed it!
Love to you all,
Melinda
oh, I am so excited for you all! I get a lump in my chest knowing I missed you all but am praying another Fiesta will be set for next year!! How amazing it will be to be all together in Heaven forever...thanks for the recap! And praise God for doing His amazing thing last weekend - he is NOT capable of anything less! with much love for each of you, rachel
What an awesome weekend. Thank y'all so much. :)
This was such a sweet weekend. From the moment I met my first siesta at baggage claim on Thursday..all the way to wiping tears as we said goodbye in the airport on Sunday, God was speaking to me. Even in those moments when we were laughing! And let me tell you...when you room with Jennyhope...you LAUGH! I love that girl. :) You Siesta's make me want to love Jesus more!
Blessings!
stephanie
It sounds like such a wonderful and truly blessed weekend. So glad everyone had a great time! God is so good! Have a great night all....
I had an amazing time! I was wondering if you, Melissa, and your mom received the willow tree gifts? I saw them sitting all in one area in the store and thought of each of you.
Thanks for all you do!
Much love!
Kristi B.
Oh my gosh how much fun we had this weekend. Ten of us from our Sunday School class went together and it was fun to talk about what each one of us took away from the teaching. God's Word is so rich that the same teaching can hit each of us in such a unique way. My favorite statement Beth made was when she said that our inheritance of the Holy Spirit trumps ANYthing else we may have inherited. That was so great for anyone carrying baggage around. The Holy Spirit inside of us trumps any of that baggage. I just loved that.
Now, Melissa, you and I talked about wedding pictures. I was going to take a siesta poll during the Q&A, but we ran out of time, so I'm just reminding you that there are some of us who are voyeurs at heart and want to see pictures of the newlyweds, etc!
It was so fun. Thank you Moore girls for taking the time, after what I'm sure is an emotionally exhausting event, to hang with us for awhile.
Rest well, girls, because I'm sure you'll hit the ground running when Mama Siesta gets home.
Blessings,
sherri
Love the recap! It was SUCH an amazing weekend...
Amanda, you and your Mom and Melissa are every bit as precious in person as I always knew you were! (Of course I've always heard nothing but nice things from your Aunt Mary!) It was the most amazing weekend! It was a tremendous blessing that I will never forget! I hope your Mom is getting some good rest because she does deserve it!
Blessings
Michelle
I am so happy for all the gals who go to go! I too pray that there will be another Siesta Fiesta in the future! If God wants it to happen - it will!
Thank you for sharing your treasured weekend!
K
What a great recap for those of us who missed it...Blessings, and get some well needed rest :)
If you attended the event and need the password, please email us at blog@lproof.org.
Thanks for a wonderfully God-centered weekend. I really enjoyed it. God bless you all in your ministry teaching His Word!
Oh thank you so much Amanda! This weekend was incredible! I loved getting to meet and hug you! You are beautiful both inside and out! Just precious! Thank you for being so gracious to all of us!
Hope you get some much needed rest too!
God Bless! Emmy : )
What a wonderful recap for those of us who missed out!! Thank you.
It was such a great weekend. I was disappointed I didn't get a chance to meet Amanda or Melissa. Maybe next time....
Beth's teaching was wonderful as always! And being able to meet the other bloggers was absolutely the icing on the cake!
Thanks for doing this!
Well goodness, guess who wasn't listening when you announced that user name and password? I hate to be a bother, but can someone just comment on my blog w/ it and I won't post the comment! Promise!
Do you know how much we miss everybody already??? I truly have some heart felt, deep friendships now. And, honestly, I've never laughed that hard in ALL MY LIFE!
"Thank you Jesus for an amazing weekend with friends, with You, and for the vessel of Beth Moore and team. Bless them deeply as they rest and refresh. May you continue to be the thrill and love of their life."
it was so much fun seeing you and your mom I love it!! can't wait for the pictures, marina
What a sweet time it was! I'll go check out the pictures! I just thought you all should know (and I may post about this later) that right after Beth led all 10,000 in the prayer of salvation, I walked out into a hall where I saw a young worker. I though that it would be so like God to answer Beth's prayer by allowing all those attendees have a relationship with Him, but to also call a dear Alamodome worker to come home to HIM! So, I approached her and asked if she prayed what Beth had led us in or if she was in a relationship with Jesus. This is already too long, I'll have to post. But, I am now praying for her and emailing her! PTL

I am a first time blogger, and a rejoicing attender of LPL this weekend in San Antonio. It was wonderful - Please pass on to Beth - Just a huge affirmation from the Lord as I had a dream last night about "my land", and "squatters" on it that I need to ask to leave. As a Bible study teacher as well, always trying to listen for "That word" from the Lord - I wanted to thank her for listening so closely for His heart. He had things to say -about our inheritance, our boundaries, and our land. God is good and His Lines ARE in pleasant places for us. May the Giver of our eternal and beautiful inheritance He be glorified.
Oh how I wish I could have made it to Texas!!! It sounds like so much fun! I hope there will be another Siesta Fiesta soon! North Carolina is beautiful in the Fall...or in winter, spring or summer! (smile)

We had such a GREAT time this weekend!!
I was speechless by your kind "more than a token" gift! I have never, ever been to a spa. I cannot wait to go!
A written thanks will follow soon! My WORD! No, really, HIS WORD! It really spoke to me this weekend.
I have a host of posts to write, but today is Sydney's 2nd birthday, so I better go make some cupcakes. On Friday we're having a big party for her and I'm making Angela Cottrell's famous Strawberry cake from the cookbook--my first time to use the recipes from it!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to you all!
Holly
Oh missy-
What a great time me and Angela (puzzlepiece sista) had with you and your mama and sister! You and your sister are both so much fun! I told my girls about the sin of being "boring!" They are 17, 12, and 10. They just laughed like we did! Came away feeling like some of the "people" in my inheritance are you three. Enjoyed seeing the family dynamics! How did you and your father ever stand it? God bless you both! Honestly, it was so much fun! Your mom sure brought a timely word. She could have done an entire 8-11 week bible study on the topic she spoke on! And she did have her "funny" on! I am praying even harder for her because as I was looking at her, I felt she was being "poured out like a drink offering" in the words of Paul. I love you all! Much love also to Sabrina! It was such a joy for me to meet her finally. Only wished I could have hugged the entire staff! God bless you all!
Love, Lisa in Kirkland, WA
P.S. Do you know it's a long plane ride back to the Seattle area?
Wow!
I was sorry to have to miss the Siesta Fiesta, but I am so thankful I got to go to Living Proof Live. (Satan tried really hard to keep me from going.) God spoke to me this weekend!
And while I am sad to have missed the Siesta Fiesta, I'm glad for your sake that I did since I was diagnosed with a contagious throat infection this morning! I would hate for one of y'all to catch this thing!
The Siesta Fiesta was a lot of fun! Thank you and the LPM staff for putting it together! The conference itself was of course wonderful, I got it! Travis and the praise team are awesome! I'm glad your Mom and Dad get to take a vacation and hope you will get some rest too. I loved meeting all you Siestas too!
I'm really missing all the hugs, laughter and squeals! This was an incredible weekend and I'm completely over feeling guilty leaving my husband during a very important week in his life--his retirement! From all the blessings I received while there, he will feel them in due time!
Beth, you really opened my eyes to an "insecurity" issue that I've had for years! Thank you and keep praying for all of us. You're such a doggone fun Lady to be around!
Amanda, you have a beautiful heart! Thank you for all you do to keep this "little-bit-of-home" blog for us all to meet and visit.
The Shh-h-I'm taking a siesta blanket is absolutely adorable!!
Melissa, Thank you for your "thought provoking" posts! You are causing me to use the noggin' God gave me! I love that I can dig deeper and receive so much!
Keith, Thank you for sharing the three beautiful women in your life! Not only are they physically beautiful, their hearts are also! I haven't gotten all the way through the cookbook, but maybe you should share some of your yummy food with us! SupperMan must have some pretty tasty dishes:0)
I'm so thankful that I'm an heiress of our awesome God!
Amanda, I am wondering about the cookbooks you had put together that were sold at the Siesta Fiesta. Is there any way of getting one if you weren't there? Sounds like you all had an awesome weekend! Love , Brenda
Awesome recap! It was so amazing to spend some time with you guys! The Fiesta was even greater than my mom and I anticipated!
Now, I'm off to check out the pics....Thanks Rich!
Amen! Amen! Amen!
Go blue stripe group! Last but certainly not least!
My mom, sis and I had so much fun. Amanda, your and Melissa's bickering made my mom feel so blessed that her daughters were just the same as Beth's!
What an amazing inheritance God gave us a peek at this weekend, meeting such a hero of faith- If they wrote a new Hebrews, Beth would be in it!
My husband, w/o even knowing about it, told me he brought me a DOUBLE PORTION OF CHOCOLATE CAKE from a birthday party on Sunday! God is so FUN!
We love y'all so much and thank you ALL for this blessed memory!
This weekend was so special I am still trying to soak it in.
One of the things that really touched me, was the 3,000 cars in the parking lot, that on Friday we somehow managed to get out of one lot with two exits with no hurt feelings or cars and no assistance from San Antonio's finest. Now is God good are what?
Sallye
A perfect recap Amanda. It was more than I dreamed it would be. I'm still trying to absorb it all. The thing I loved the most is the obvious love for Jesus by everyone involved.
I was so tickled to meet y'all and I still can't get over how tiny each of you are!!! And, I know y'all eat! But y'all are so precious :-)
Just wanted to let Beth know I busted out my CeCe in honor of her when I got home :) I got my praise on! Love me some CeCe too!
I was incredibly blessed to be there...I still can't take it all in. Three things are bubbling up for me:
1. I woke up this morning and PRAISED HIM that I am an heiress of God. Out on my back porch, with the early sun rising, head bowed, I said that and my whole body had chills! Beth...thank you for this fresh and PRICELESS truth!
2. I'm so deeply thankful to Melissa, Amanda and Beth for taking extra time to be with us. You were all so dang fun, and we were all so dang blessed!
3. I love all three of you. BETH--well, enough said, I love you to pieces. MELISSA--you are brilliant and so funny, I'm in awe of you. I hope my youngest daughter grows up to be just like Beth's youngest daughter! But my big take away was AMANDA--you were the quietest of the three, and because of that and because I identify most with you, as a young mother, I fell in love with you. We've seen glimpses of your gifts in your blog posts, but in person, I saw how beautiful in every way that you are. You have the sweetest, most precious and tender heart. I can't really put this into words, but you were so touching to me. I pray that my "BEAUTIFUL INHERITANCE" includes being your close friend in heaven.
All my love to all of my Siestas.
xo Chris
I have to say that being on the Siesta side of the evening was a blessing.
Thanks for letting your 'hair down' with us. It was so good to be real with ya'll.
I too was blessed abundantly by the Inheritance word we received. I can honestly say that it changed my life - HE does hold my lot...
May GOD richly bless ya'll!
Mistie Woods - Abilene
aka foggy forest - if I can ever get this blog thing mastered! LORD JESUS help me! I know HE will.....
Amanda...oh, how we love you! Thank you so much for the play by play for those of us siestas who were not able to attend!
I am so planning on attending next year (Lord willing!). Maybe it can be in Ca?! That would be fabulous! I'd be delighted to take you anywhere you want to go in Ca!!!! I live pretty close to Yosemite National Park...hmmmmmm, pretty enticing, don't you think?!
All joking aside...I am so glad that everyone had a great time! God is so good and He blesses us in such wonderful ways!
What an incredible blessing this weekend was for my best friend Brenda and myself! I don't think I realized before how badly I needed to hear Beth's message. I am humbled by the amount of work and love that all of you put into an event like this. You blessed my socks off. From now on, I'm telling the devil to
GET OFF MY PROPERTY!"
Love you all SO very much!

What an incredible weekend! Did anyone else see the rainbow on Saturday morning? What a blessing from God!
Amanda,
After all these years it was so much fun to meet you. I so wish that we could have taken a picture with each other but registration was so busy. :))
I echo what Holly said, we talked about going to the spa together when I visit her in Colorado!!
Fran was my traveling buddy with Georgia and we laughed so much that I believe some people on our plane wanted us thrown off. LOL
The connections made by so many will stay with me forever.
Siestas, I loved meeting you and hugging you and taking pictures with ya'll and I MISS YOU ALL!!!!
We have a mascot now, Miesta Moose, thank you Melana!!!!
Thank you to Beth and Melissa and Sabrina and her beautiful daughter !! Humble servants of God!! Thank you for serving and minsitering to us!! You all are a blast!!!
Love,
Patty
What a fun weekend!!! I truly had a blast. Thank you for taking the time to bless us on Saturday with a bit of personal interaction. I have to download all the photos and combine them with mine to make a little mini-book, including the 8 key points made at the conference. I do not want this special memory to be forgotten. Off to do some scrapping then! Thanks again!
That sounds awesome!!!
I think we need a meet and greet at New England Nights. :)
Amanda,
I think your 36 hours in San Antonio were about as packed as ours were! But how wonderful our time was....a weekend I will never forget!!!
Thank you for your sweet spirit, for your generosity (which was exemplified in the giving of the many gifts!), and for your love for the Lord. What an awesome testimony that God did choose your whole family for the ministry.
Many blessings to you, my friend, for the many ways you are a blessing to us siestas!
Even though I wasn't able to attend this past weekend it has been wonderful to read about everything and see some of what happened. What a blessing!
It was so fun "meeting" you three in person! And what a wonderful conference. I was there with my mom, and since we both grew up with a very legalistic church, that was no small miracle! That giraffe blanket is TOO cute. :-)
Oh Siesta! I have to admit, I cried selfish pity party tears all weekend because I couldn't be with the siestas! But I am happy to say, it did not interfere with me praying that God would bless each encounter and give you, Melissa and your Mom a sense how loved and appreciated you are! God is good. I hope I'll see you all next year.
Well I must say, "Amanda, your recap was great girl!" Thanks for all the hard work you and so many others have put it to make this all happen. Emmy and I had been planning this trip for a year, and we cracked up at the women sitting in our section that said, "what is a siesta blogger?" We graciously explained and invited them to join us in blog-land!! Our friends Joni(joni's joy) and Mandy (georgia mother-whose name growing up was Amanda Moore and her sister is Melissa), anyway, they joined us and we all had a blast. I love that God has blessed me with such special friends and I feel so blessed to have been able to attend.
We loved the Siesta "time" at the end of the event. I know you all had to be exhausted, espcially you Mrs. Beth, but thank you for taking that extra time with us. It so encouraged me that the sacrifices I feel I make for my children(since we have soooo many) will be worth it. When we do Kingdom Work sacrifices come with the territory. I know Beth you must have prayed to the Lord so many times that one day He would give your girls the heart and eyes to see His glory and get it. I love that you both (A and M) explained that you knew it was for God's glory.
I cannot even wrap my brain around Psalm 16 yet. As I sat on my front porch this morning enjoying coffee and reading it over and over, I just wanted to soak it in. At some point, I can't wait to re-organize my notes, I was all over that program. Thank you Beth for being God's instrument, it was all a blast!!
P. S. I love my basket and my new Bible Study book! Thanks!
Well hey ya'll. If I could have held the microphone Saturday I would have told Miss Beth how I dreamt about her Friday night and that her husband was Cary Grant. I am not kidding. In my dream he was her husband and yet he was Cary Grant and he was crying and asking forgiveness for all the stuff he had done. It was rather emotional. I told him that he was forgiven and that no matter what he was still my idea of the perfect gentleman. Is that random or what??? I told my roomie, Kathy, about it and we had a good laugh. I also would have told Miss Beth how glad my family is that she shared her pound cake recipe. They LOVE IT! Then I would have told Melissa how I tried to make that banana pudding, but it would not set up. We ate the banana soup for one day, but that was all we could stomach. Then I would have thanked Amanda for all her hard work to get us connected in the first place. It was an amazing weekend. God surprised me in lots of ways. I still can't believe that we are HIS INHERITANCE. Oh the sweet love of Jesus. Thank you all Moore ladies. Blessings to you all!
Great recap!! Totally brought back soo many great and funny memories!! Plus all the great truths that Ms Beth brought in the sessions. Still trying to comprehend that I am God's Inheritance!! And that we should not commit the "absolute worst" sin by being boring!!! I thought I would lose it when Ms Beth started imitating Paris Hilton!! Too stinkin' funny!!!
I pray that you have a great vacation! You so have earned the time away! May God bless you with awesome weather and time with your man!
Love ya'll!!
Nikki
An incredible weekend in every way. Thank ya'll for making it possible. Now get some rest!
love and blessings,
Tammy
I am so grateful to God for allowing me to be a part of this weekend. Even though I came by myself I had an incredible time and the Lord really met me there. I, too, have not been able to stop thinking about some of the points from this weekend. Thank you to everyone who made it possible! Seriously! Thanks! :)
It sounds like you girls had an awesome time! I hope yall do it again and I can make it! ;o) How cool to connect to people you have been blogging with for so long!
I came with my 8 year old daughter and we had a great time together. Beth, thank you so much for pulling my daughter, Kelly, up to the front of the picture with you in our group - you absolutely made her day when you did that.

" There are so many things she said that I can't stop thinking about. It was a feast of the Word and personally, I left the conference feeling so loved by God."
Oh SO true! This weekend was one where God finally broke through my VERY thick skull! In reality though, it was more like I was finally ableto hear Him. Thanks for the reminder and the link to the pictures! They brought back many smiles and laughs! There are very few things in this world than the captured pure joy on a woman's face!
Thank you for the reminder!
This was a great weekend and I loved being able to meet face to face so many people I have gotten to know so well. I'm glad I got to meet you, Amanda & your mom. The Word from the Lord was timely -as HE is alway right on time. Thanks to Rich for the photos. May the Lord continue to bless you richly and I'm lifting up those prayer requests.
Engrafted by HIS Grace-
Shonda
I wish I could have been there with ya'll . I am glad ya'll had an awesome and blest time. Love and Blessing to you all.
are you going to let us Siestas that didn't get to come to the siesta fiesta see some pictures? Please do because we want to be able to share in the joy of the event even if we didn't get to come. Sounds like everyone had a blessed time.
Okay, I plan on REALLY blogging from this point forward...you ladies really inspired me this weekend. I've been more of a reader/occasional poster, not hard core like some of you committed bloggers...I think it is time to start my own...BUT today was the start of school for my own sweet darlin's AND for the 8 small districts that I serve as special ed. director for...so really saying how incredible this weekend was will just have to wait.
But I just have to share with my siestas such a sweet kiss from God last night. I pulled into town @ 5 p.m. on Sunday evening, dropped off my buddies and picked up my youngest at 5:30 p.m. We were at church at 6 p.m. My man the youth minister was so excited to see me. It was a sweet reunion. BUT GET THIS!! We sing two songs that we all sang together at the Alamodome so more sweet worship time for me...then, I hope you are sitting down!!!...Now remember I had barely had time to tell the poor guy on the phone all was well and I loved him during the weekend...He tells the youth, that we are going to talk about how richly blessed we are..."Open your Bibles to Psalm 16" This girl almost went face down on the concrete floor!!! My husband looked at me and immediately knew. He exclaimed - "You've got to be kidding me!!" So he had me tell the kids what was going on and I ended up on the stage with him for some impromptu co-teaching. IS OUR SWEET LORD COOL OR WHAT?!?!?
So I ended our sweet weekend with an extra kiss from God...I love you, my siestas...and Amanda, Melissa, and Beth...thank you for sharing yourselves with us...You give me hope for raising Godly girls...even ones who are as opposite as the Moore daughters! Blessings!
Cindy
thank you for your recap it's so cool to think of what you were doing while you were there. God working the way He does in all the various rooms and conversations going on with every body there. It was so neat to watch it all unfold. Love and blessings Tiffany
Oh and I never really introduced myself as i did I would say "hi I'm Tiffany For His Glory", what a word to speak..Even that blessed me.
Oh, thanks for the recap from your side of it, Amanda. I hope you know how much we appreciate all the work you do on this blog.
Veronica and I just got home. I thought of driving around for a few more miles to make it an even 3000 miles, but thought the better of it and came home to my sweet family.
BTW, the pj party....too fun!!
Melana and Miesta Moose back in Wyoming (sniff)
Oh, I so wish I could have been there.
It was so funny...usually you will meet one or two siesta's at events, but this was so awesome to actually be there to meet hundreds of them. It was fun placing people with names and blogs...not so fun trying to keep them all straight. ;) Thanks for providing the opportunity to do this...hope we can make it an annual fun trip.
Oh man, how I hate missing a good party! I'm so glad the weekend was so awesome and exceeded all expectations! I'm so happy y'all were spiritually full from the event and that God was glorified throughout. God bless everyone who worked so hard to put it together! Do you think there will be another Siesta Fiesta at some point?
Lots of lovin',
Kristen
Thank you, Amanda. I look forward to reading other's post about the Siesta Fiesta Weekend. I was sad that I couldn't be there but I prayed like crazy for you guys all weekend long. Glad that God was Mighty among you! Praise Him!
blessings
Sister Lynn
I so wish I could have been there! Know that you all were lifted up in prayer. God bless you today!
It sounds like an incredible weekend! I wish I had been there to be a part of it. Maybe next time!!
Amanda: The Siesta Fiesta was a beautiful blessing! I had the most wonderful and marvelous weekend and it was so much fun to put names to faces, but even sweeter to join heart to heart.
You and your Mom and sister are so delightful. I loved observing the family dynamics during the Siesta Fiesta Q&A. Y'all are the real deal...
I came with my friend Twinkle from Georgia, and we had a blast!
On the flight back home I sat across from a woman who had gotten out of Jehovah's Witnesses after 10 years. How I found out was I started talking to her because she was looking at a "Psalms of Ascent" book, so I asked her if she enjoyed the conference. She said "what conference?" Wide-eyed, I said, "the LPL Conference, led by the author of that book you are holding." She said, "never heard of it."
That was like saying "sic em to a Gawja Bulldog" to me, so for the next 2 hours I talked with her, encouraged her, helped her with some doctrinal issues :) and was just was blessed by our meeting. We exchanged emails, and I hope to keep in touch.
Meanwhile...Deborah (Twinkle) was praying with and helping a gentleman behind us that was going home to reunite with his wife after a year of being apart.
We were heiresses on duty and loved every minute of it...
Thank you sweet Holly and Kim and Patty for all your hard work.
Owner of a beautiful inheritance,
Georgia Jan
Amanda,
Can I say I just love you to pieces!!! How gracious of you to come and speak personally with some of us and take pictures. I know how draining events like this must be for you, your mom and sister and yet you took time to come make contact with us. That speaks loudly to me of your "realness".
I am expecting a baby at the end of Feb. and have a little guy turning 3 on Sept. 15th. Boy, come Feb. our lives will be in fast gear! I'll be praying for you!
Sounds like an amazing time! Wish I could've come as well:(
Amanda, Melissa and Beth:
First of all I just want to say Thank you for all you do to help this siesta stay out of one big pit. I am so high on life and God right now that I told my best friend I am punch drunk on God. She laughed and laughed. I am still trying to recover and I have sleepy eyes and tears of joy and major major withdrawel pains of wanting to be back with each of you. What a miracle last weekend was for this Texas girl!
I also have been walking around the office telling the ladies that they are all Heiress'es of God and certainly they are not boring.. I am not sure if they know what to do with me.
I met some amazing women who I will treasure for a life time and I am blessed to know that I have my portion and my lot and it is Jesus Christ...
No baby yet but anyday now this Mom will be a grandmother and the joys of that just thrill me.
I love you all and Have an Awesome day with our God!
Lichelle
Hi, Siestas,
I have been reading the blog
for the last month or so and decided it was time to join the fun. Sounds like you guys had a
great time! Isn't our God just the greatest, most wonderful thing.
BTW, how do we get CDs of Beth's messages from the Louisville event?
I was there and want my husband to
hear the message. Thanks.
What a blessing! This conference came at just the right time in my life. I had gotten to the point where I was beginning to believe that nothing could rekindle the romance between the Lord and I and I was wandering in the wilderness of complancency. It had been over a year since I had really met with the Lord and my life was just a mess.
But on Saturday I finally let the Lord catch me and his glory came over me and I don't think I will ever be the same! I was harboring a lot of anger towards the Lord because my father-in-law was killed a year ago by lightning. I kept repeating the line "He has told every lightning bolt where it should go," and I couldn't understand why God would take my husband's family's spiritual leader like that. Anyway, I finally realized that God has dominion and sovereignty over everything equally and this was just the way he decided to take him.
The words from Beth will stick with me forever. I am an heir of God and a co-heir with Christ and I will receive a double portion! Wow, what an amazing and generous God we have. And to know that he sees us as His inheritance is so awesome too. I love the picture of Him waiting for us just as we wait for Him. How beautiful!
There's so much to say and not enough words to express it all! The Siesta Fiesta was a blast! I have a confession though. I had never really read the blog and my amazing boss at work signed me up for the fiesta so I could meet Beth. Now I did read one post after she signed me up so I wouldn't feel so terrible but I definitely felt like a fraud sitting there listening to people and stories that I should have known had I been who I said I was :/ Anyway, I will definitely read it now!
One last thing, my favorite story from the fiesta was Jennyhope and her question about Melissa's hair. Jennyhope you crack me up!
Love,
Morgan
I was so blessed by this past weekend! I left so full of God's love - I was basking in Him! It brought such healing and encouragement to me! Thank you, Beth, for who you are for Jesus and for the Word you delivered! And being a part of Siesta Fiesta and watching the relationship you have with your daughters was truly a privilege. You gals are inspiring!! All my love and blessings on y'all!
Wow! What a weekend! The teaching, the worship, being with the siestas, spending time with my bff from high school and my mom was great. But most of all I had been with Jesus!
A couple of cool things...I made some cards for my roomies before we left and one of them was (ready for this?) Psalm 16! When I saw it on the screen and then Beth said turn there, I just got goosebumps! Then I flew home Sunday just in time to make it to church with my family. Guess what we sang...In Christ Alone and Enough! It was like God was saying, "yes, we had a sweet time in San Antonio, but here is where I have your lot set for now and for a purpose." Talk about God Stops! I just love it when He does that!
Beth, Amanda, and Melissa--thanks for being so authentic and transparent with everything from spiritual truths and struggles to hair! Love ya'll!
My experience this weekend was... different. I walked away from the weekend disturbed and unsettled - and I believe that is exactly what God intended for me.
Lord help me, I think it may be time for some of that radical change Beth mentioned.
~Bethany
I'm so happy for all you siestas! What an incredibly sweet thing for LPM to do! I'm sure it was a blessing beyond belief.
Hoping LPM will do this again and hoping to be there next time!
Blessings,
Tracy = )
This siesta from Alabama had a great time at the event. I loved meeting you Amanda. At lunch yesterday I was sharing all the insights learned from this weekend to a friend who didn't attend. I thank God for the work He has done in my life through your mom's Bible studies and events.
This weekend was fantastic! IT was such a spiritual high! From the moment we began worship on Friday night you could feel the prescence of God! And the reception after the conference was amazing. My girlfriends and I sat directly in front of yall, three rows back. Sorry for the annoying camera flashes I was just so excited. we were so jelous of Our friend Erin (she was the one who yall asked if she was a chinese gymnast) because it was her birthday and she got to hug Beth. Thats got to be the best Birthday gift ever. It was truely a blessed weekend with Beth, Amanda, Mellisa, Friends, and most of all our precious King of Kings. I'm farely new to the blog world but I'm loving it. Maybe I will eventually figure out how to get my own done. P.s. I have been struggling with coming up with a cool blog name. And now I have it thanks to Beth! HeiressofGod!!!! and not a boring one!! LOL that would be a sin!
love from Natalie
Remeber to look in the mirror today and Say, "I AM AN HEIRESS OF GOD!"
What an amazing time! We are amazed you posted thoughts and photos so quickly - THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone that made this extra, extra special. Holly's Siesta Cookbook is amazing, so much time and effort, we LOVE it! My mom, sister and I could tell all the prayer, time and thought that went into organizing the Fiesta. We are blessed, blessed, blessed! I head back to Germany next week, but I'll have so much to take back with me! Thank you Beth, Amanda and Melissa for lovin' on us all and making us laugh our heads off when this life can get hard!
Hello fellow heiresses of the Lone Star! What an incredible weekend we had together coming together in San Antonio and hearing from the Lord! I so enjoyed it and wished we could have filled the place up all the way around! Just think what heaven is going to be like with our Lone Star on His throne in the middle of Heaven! Thank you Travis for leading us in worship right to the throne of the Lord! Wow! You can sing, brother! Thank you, Beth, for bringing such a powerful word! I received a word this weekend! Praise God for an incredible weekend together with all of you! Can't wait for all the Siestas to gather together in Heaven and praise the Almighty One together!
-Gena T.
Wow..sounds like you girls had an incredibly wonderful weekend!! Looking forward to when there's another one and hopefully I can make it to that one! I have LOVED the pictures I've seen so far on some of the Siestas blog sites! :)
Missy in SC
I just glanced at the pictures. They are wonderful! Thanks for posting them. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the weekend & our time together. Thanks Beth, Amanda, & Melissa. Getting to met you topped off an already fabulous weekend!
Well, it's been a few days and I'm still wearing my armbands (gross as it may be)just to remind myself that, yes I really was there.
It's hard to really put into words what the weekend meant. I tried today at lunch with some friends, and they were so excited for me, but I didn't feel like I did it justice. Like Beth once said, I so wanted it to sound like God, but it sounded so much like.....me!Ughh!
Thanks to everyone for being so friendly and welcoming. I had come alone, only "knowing" people through the blog and their blog names. Special thanks to Siesta's Diane, Sharron and Karen for letting me hang with them and taking me "under their wing".
Thanks Amanda for taking what probably seemed like a "little step" when starting this blog, and just like God, He turned it into something so big and so beyond what I'm sure you envisioned..
I wanted you to thank your dad for me/us also. I know he plays a big role in all of this "behind the scenes" and he is a man of God to put up with all this "estrogen". He is definitely a good sport and a vital partner in the ministry. Thank the "supperman" for us!! He ROCKS!Does he have a standard menu for "post-conference" supper?? Ha Ha.
This weekend and this blog and (Siestaville) have inspired me to start my own, both to keep in touch with people and to share what God has and continues to do in my life. Thanks for the inspiration. I'll keep you posted.
Love and prayers,
Cindy R.
Well, I didn't get to go but it has been so much fun to see everyone's posts and pictures from the event!
I'm still a "siesta" even if I wasn't there and I feel like I know some of these wonderful blogging ladies a little bit better now.
I have been reading the LPM blog for almost a year and never joined in the fun. But I met Momofeleven in line while buying some books and felt she was an immediate friend. The weekend was fabulous and God is working in my life as a result. Psalm 16 has been "my" Psalm all summer and it blew my mind when the words started running across the power point at the start of the evening. My friend and I planned on going way back in February. We are both certain that God's divine timing was at work.
God is good and is so using LPM!
I am living proof! :)
Blessing to all of the Siesta's!
Liz
Ladies, I am so thankful for you. I did want a little more dirt on the two of you from you momma when I asked (at the meet and greet time) about discipline issues. But I was happy to hear you two are the best of friends now.
I did need to say that among every word spoke and song sang, the moment I almost fell out of my seat was when Beth spoke about a woman at her church being blessed with a Down Syndrome baby and how she was so special to be given that priviledge. Because that is just how I feel as we are in the process of adopting a little DS one into our family. It was another moment of a unexpected connection. Texas love is so BIG.
Hello everyone. I don't know where to turn to ask the most people, so I'm here. My Sunday School class is doing the Breaking Free study. It has been awesome so far! But, we are missing "The Potter and the Clay" and "God's Unfailing Love" video segments(VHS). I believe they are on the same tape, but I'm not sure. Is there anyone out there that can loan those video segments to our church, so that we don't miss out on any part of this study? Please contact me at mrandmrshroberts@earthlink.net
Thank you in advance. And, thank you Beth for listening to God. You are such a blessing to so many.
Michelle Roberts
Hi everyone!
I was not able to come to the Siesta Fiesta or LPL, but want to see some pictures. But, now I see that the pictures can only be seen by using some password. Wah!
I did get to go to a small arena concert with Michael W. Smith just south of here on Sunday night, though, thanks to my dear Aunt Sue. And, it was really nice. I think Michael even "toned it down a bit" because he noticed what kind of a crowd was gathered there; older people, like my Mom [70], and families, which made the event much more enjoyable for them. He sang a bunch of songs from a new album that is coming out sometime in 2009. Sounds great!
In Christ's Love,

I was so blessed by this weekend. Just wanted to Thank you, Beth and Amanda and Melissa. Thank you for your time and your hearts. I am sure that God used you to make this particular weekend a spiritual marker in so many lives. We loved the Q and A. It was my favorite part for so many reasons.
Enjoy your day. and Enjoy your vacation Beth, you so deserve it!
Amanda, many thanks for all you do to keep the blog going. I don't know where you get your energy especially with Jackson now in the twos! You and Melissa were precious at the Siesta Fiesta. I know mama Beth was so proud of you both and the sweet, sincere, honesty with which you voiced your reply about being her "girls". She has certainly, with God's help, done an awesome job with parenting....well, we should probably give Keith a little credit! hehehe
It was an awesome, awesome weekend singing & praising our Father and loving on one another. I am so glad I am His and He is mine!
BLessings abundantly on you , Curtis and Jackson. Take care of yourself.
love,
Sharron(Hartselle, Al)
Im so sorry I missed this! It sound like you had a great time!
Loved your recap, Amanda! And thank you for posting all those links. It was so fun to look at all the pics!
Glad I got to hug your neck! You are seriously precious.
Hope you get some rest this week!

(I'll still be looking for you around town!) :)
Dear Siestas, I was unable to attend the conference in San Antonio as my father passed away unexpectedly. I gave my ticket away and I know the message was meant for someone that was supposed to be there. But, I have taken heart, as I just learned that Beth will grace us in my hometown in February. Thank You Daddy in heaven as I think you didn't want me to miss Beth after all. Blessings. Also, you haven't had Mexican food until you eat ours in EP. Susie in El Paso
I'm so happy for all of you that were able to attend. It sounds like it was such a blessing.
I'm hoping LPM will offer another time like this in the future. I would LOVE to be a part of it!

Could you keep my son Bryan Wilson in your prayers please? His tumor shunk and his operation is on Thrusday. He lives in Sweden and that is 9hrs ahead of US time. I'm believing for complete healing! Please pray for his wife and 4 year old child. Thank You So Much!
This is my first comment. I found you through another blog and enjoy Listening to Wednesday's with Beth!
GOD Bless You and Yours and Thanks You So Much for Your Prayers!!!
Wonderful weekend Thank-you Beth for such a powerful word! ~ jan
All I can say is "thank you" to the Lord for orchestrating our time together in San Antonio. So many people worked long and hard to bring the Siesta Fiesta to fruition.
Just to hear, from Genesis to Revelation, God has been telling us He is our inheritance and we, His people, are His. To say I am an heir of God, learn what it means, and to truly believe it has so blessed my heart.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL. My heart is forever changed; glory to you, Lord!
Hugs,
Mary

Pooh! I missed so much. Wish I could have been there.
Maybe we could start some "State By State" groups for smaller gatherings until another big event comes along??
Hi Siestas!
Reading through Psalm 16 again after this weekend!
Verse 4 really hit me after doing No Other Gods...
"The Sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods" Psalm 16:4
Just wanted to share! I love how God causes these things to just "Pop" out to you (like a Pop up Book as Mama Beth says!)
Miss you my Siesta Heiresses!
Emmy : )
The music was great, the teaching was grand and the spirit of God was ever real and present!!! I was truly blessed by it all. I went by myself (needing a time to focus as I prepare to lead our fall bible study) and God did not leave my side for one minute. I was blessed beyond my wildest imagination and I am grateful.
I am an heir of God......
Many blessings to you all,
Royana
What a joy to travel with my friend to Texas. We are California girls and have to say Texas hospitality is wonderful!! What a joy to worship Jesus with you and to grow in His Word.
This past weekend was amazing! Thanks to you three lovely women for taking time to let us get to know you all better. You are all such great examples of God using you to be His hands and feet. Thank you for following Him, and in doing so, blessing us all so deeply.
Sincere gratitude from Tracy

katiegfromtennessee
Tell your mom that I keep picturing YOUR sweet faces! This weekend renewed my soul like no other. I felt like Beth was so truly annointed by God - that message spoke straight to my heart. And in the midst of heartache, I heard a Word from the Lord that encouraged me and strengthened me and gave me a new perspective. Thank you and God bless you all. You are all so dear and I love you so much. It was so fun to see your beautiful faces up close and in person. I just wanted to hug your necks and not let go. The Lord was truly in that place and we were ALL so immeasurably blessed, our hearts drawn closer to the heart of God and the truths of His character. Amen!
It was a blast and a blessing to be able to be part of such a wonderful experience
I just keep wondering - when is the next one - hehe
We love all of you - especially you funny Moore girls :)
I have never laughed so hard so thanks again for taking the time to do the Q&A - fun times!
Much love
Kim
ok, yall could NOT be a cuter bunch of ladies. Is it Rich or was every single one of you just beautiful?
Thank you Rich for all the pictures!! We trult appreciate the extra work for the event!!
Blessings,
Patty
I am so glad that all you Siestas were able to be a part of a wonderful time of fellowship with the Moore ladies! It was an honor to take part in a Spirit-filled lesson last weekend about Psalm 16! I look forward to being able to fellowship with each you on our new lots in Heaven! Amen! Have a blessed week in the Lord!
how i wish i could have been there!! the pics are great. Thanks for sharing! Amanda, I have to tell you, the first time that I read your re-cap, I missed the part about having to have a username and password to see the pics (obviously this was before you posted them for us), and I clicked on the link to see the pics. Haha!
Thanks to everyone who made the Fiesta possible!
The teaching was timely, worship anointed, and fellowship sweet.
To the person who asked about the RAINBOW--YES!--we saw it from our balcony! It was like a "Good morning!" kiss from our heavenly Father.
See the picture next to my post? That's it!
Blessings,
Tami in LA
I had so much fun!
I didn't get to speak to everyone I wanted to. But Amanda, it was a treat hugging you twice!
Angela, who sings with Travis and was there for this event...Jan and I love her but didn't know her name. We bumped into her husband at the airport when we flew out of San Antonio and that was a treat!
Tell your mom we saw a rainbow on our flight. I think it was over Mississippi or Alabama. We were flying over the top of the rainbow as it dropped down into the clouds. THAT was a godstop!
Father, bless Beth with rest and peace. Give her time to settle and restore her strength. Thank You for pouring out love all over us this past week. You are Good. In Jesus Name.
I had so much fun! Thanks girls! And my sis loved winning for shortest time married. Sorry Melissa, you were really close :)
We love you very much!!!
Man, I wish I could have been there!
I am so bummed that I couldn't attend this year...it looks like everyone had an awesome time and I'm sure God showed up and showed out!
I'm hoping the Fiesta Siesta will be a yearly event and I can attend next year ;) ...say maybe in Memphis or Little Rock ;) (hint)
YES!!! I saw the RAINBOW!!!! It was the first thing I saw when we walked out the door of the Hotel. It was the only place I saw it though. I knew, that the day was going to be a special one...and WOWWWW what a BLESSED day it was.
It is Thursday and I just spent some time reading all the comments so far. I am so out of words for how overwhelmed with love I feel from our time with the KING!!!
Have a super awesome day SIESTAS :)
kate in charlottesville
The weekend was amazing! I don't even know where to begin.
First of all, being blessed to travel with my 25 year old daughter for 4 days was a memory I'll never forget.
Meeting so many wonderful Siestas and some of our blogging friends was all I thought it would be and more. We got to meet our new mascot "Miesta Moose" along with Melana & Veronica, the first evening while we were waiting to enter the arena. They are a hoot!
Beth, Amanda & Melissa, thank you so much for the time we were able to spend with you all after the conference. It was so much fun. I just love you all so much.
Rich, thank you for taking so many amazing pictures.
Patty, Kim & others who helped you behind the scenes....everything was organized and perfect. Thank you.
Holly....I love the cookbook and have been asked by some of my friends if they are available for anyone to purchase?
Lifeway...thank you!
Travis & praise team...you are so anointed. Loved every minute of worship.
Keith, thank you for your support and prayers. I'm so glad Beth has "Supperman!" :)
Lastly, but most importantly I thank my God who is so faithful to me and gave us a safe trip and blessed us with His Word.
Love you all! And yes, we need to plan another blogger get-together in the near future.
Love,
Valerie
I attended this past weekend, and I felt so overwhelmingly blessed. I have had a trying year with being diagnosed with breast cancer, trying to raise my 4 young kids among uncertainty, keeping my marriage strong in the midst of this severe storm. My mom and I attended this event thanks to a wonderful friend that bought our tickets early in my battle.
I have kept my own blog, and my mantra is that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13. I have held steady with this and I was sitting there wondering what my inheritance was with all of this. Not a minute later Beth stated Phillipians 4:13. Thank you God for opening my eyes and heart at that moment to know He was telling me that I do have an inheritance to share and I need to continue to find my strength and hope through Him. It was in that moment that I felt the world tilt a little and the warm tingling over my body. I went home that night and cried, opened my heart to my husband to share my thoughts, fears and excitement.
I will forever remember this past weekend in San Antonio and know that I am an heiress! Can't wait to have the heiress hair do though!! I would love some Texas Hair right about now!
Amanda...thank you for posting the siesta fiesta password..i almost tried those words yesterday but knew it wasn't cool and now - look i get to see them honestly!!! I was struck by the simplicity of the setting with you, Beth and Melissa sitting in such a "mundane" venue compared to the soon to be live event in Denver...(Thurs. night) and how your Mother's requested prayer for the event and God's Grace and Mercy pulls it altogether...with his children...not with massive stage sets, plywood scenery or foundationless hopes and dreams...but with flesh and blood people with hearts and minds in search of Him building His temple....so Thanks for the pictures....Praise Him! ps..hope you had a good time last night too!
Totally random but was that curtain not the hugest thing y'all have ever seen? I couldn't help but think about the Holy of Holies. :))
Hey ladies,
I have been a siesta for ages but was always anonymous and signed off as Sarah from Wyoming. I had to comment to say that I have an identity now....lol. I even started a personal blog so stop by and say hi if you can. I was not a the fiesta but enjoy reading about it just the same.
The weekend was so incredible. God really got a hold of me on Fri. with our being His inheritance. Absolutely incredible in my thinking. I also feel so unworthy and overwhelmed. It also was so much fun to meet you. I loved the q and a time. Thanks for recognizing my birthday. Kim B. in AZ
Great photos - but why are some blacked out? I was hoping to see the group photos here....
Enjoy reliving this special time with y'all. Being back "in the daily grind" is challenging and I believe Satan is attacking but all I have to do is look at all of your dear sweet faces again and I'm refreshed all over again. Countless thanks for all you've done and do!
love-n-hugs,
Thank you Amanda for posting the secret codes to the pictures from the Fiesta. I was not able to go and I was feeling very left out because I didn't know the password to see the pictures. Then when I logged on and saw that you had posted the login and passwords I was so happy! Now I feel as if I was almost there. Thanks for allowing those who couldn't be there to "be there" vicariously!
