Amanda, that is too funny! How sweet are these pictures?!! I get a kick every time I see Granny Beth with Jackson because it reminds me of all the times she talked about having grandbabies as I listened to her tapes. I am not at all surprised that she is "Super Nanny". She is just so much fun!!

My heart is so longing for that relationship where you can just spend time together, as mother and daughter. I love that picture displayed in your relationship with your mom. I know it isn't perfect, I know you both are human too. But it's a sweet picture to witness, even from afar.
Seeing you with your daughters and grandson makes me long to have a mother that could know "freedom and liberty" so she could enjoy life.

Sorry but I just love those chubby little toes. So, so adorable and dare I say good for nibbles and kisses (my daughters were sure feet were as wonderful as hands as momma doted on them so much).
Jackson is so sweet! I love the picture where we can see his little feet! Don't ya just wanna eat em???? AWWWWWW Precious! Looks like a nice day there in TX too! It is not very great weather here yet...but I'll hang on, Spring is a comin!

The baby is so cute I love the pictures. Looks like the doggies are spoiled rotten too got three of them I grab the keys and they want in the van.
On my way to a field trip this morning with my son who is five He is sick and still wants to go He has been up most of the night,Hopefully He won't be too cranky.
I love the one year old stage the are so trusting and cute and everything they do is such a big thing.
Amanda know what is like to try to get a hot meal and your legs shaved try adding three more to your one it's not easy like everyone claims , Thank God for Mom's cause Mine lives with me right now and she helps me with the kids.

What's so awesome about this blog is...we've loved you for years from afar off. Now the realization is...by connecting to you as a "real person" you are just like us, and if God uses you, He will use us.
This blog was almost neccessary for my growth on some level at this time in my life having unrealistic expectations of myself as a pastors wife.
We are just real women, serving a very real God!!!!!

I know neither of my grandmothers ever looked like that! Where's Beth's cardigan with the crocheted flowers on it? The glasses with the chain? The orthopedic shoes? Blue hair?
O.k., it is official. Beth Moore has made being a GRANNY positively cool as can be! I'm only 30 years old, and I already can't wait to be one, which is even funnier considering I have a 3 year old!

Love the pics of Beth and Jackson. So adorable, each and everyone of you... I look forward to more little one's in the future. Our small town park is one of our fav's. There you will find often during warm weather, my green-eyed 6 year old little man and myself living out different adventures, whether it be deep sea diving with the great white whale and tiger sharks or in search of dinosaurs along our hike through the green lush valleys of the wild, as Aaron so often says. What precious time with my little man.
And ladies, I have to say the joy does not end, my daughter who is now 22 years old, even though she is technically on her own, a working gal and college student...never fails to fit "Mom" into her busy schedule.
Spilling over with so much joy and love of my own children, I can hardly imagine the over flow of increased joy to the sound of my own "grand" little pitter patter of feet around our house in the future.
Girl Talk at Starbucks or plunging into prehistory with Nigel Marven to rescue creatures on the brink of extinction...who could ask for more!

Oh, to look at the world through the eyes of a beloved child! Especially after the whirlwind of the last several weeks! I just can't imagine keeping that kind of schedule without some majorly baggy eyes; the kind no amount of makeup can cover! Beth, you look wonderful! You are truly a beautiful woman! I say that because, whether you know it or not, we've been through a lot together, and I have always found you to be "the real deal," as I've heard you put it. I'm so grateful God speaks so strongly through you!
I pray you will receive a deep breath of fresh air as you spend these precious moments with your family. May the fresh air your receive help prepare you for what's next!
Enough about Jackson my husband said,.... What about that buck! I also have a Maverick husband who saw the picture as I was checking out the blog. He is a great hunter & can spot a prize Buck anywhere.We have a wall full of prizes ourselves. He was coming off of a hunting trip when we met Beth at DFW airport. He said to have Keith start a christian men's hunting blog! He also says he is as close to God out there in the woods as he would be sitting in a church pew. It's up to him & God!

i want to say one other thing... yesterday I mentioned "Feathers from My Nest" I was in a hunting stand with my husband reading that very book crying while he was hunting. I will never forget that because he was afraid I was making too much noise sniffling!. Only another hunter's wife could relate! we love'em anyway! Go have fun with them at his lease, make those memories.

I have to ask...is that a leash? and is there a dog?? on the end of it? I had to laugh out loud because I am remembering the study (can't recall which one) where you had taken your dog out for a walk, began visiting with someone I think and looked down to find there was no dog on that leash!
My dog would be in my lap! There would be no question as to whether he was on the leash or not. Thanks for being so open with all of us ....it's wonderful!
Loving those photos! Jackson certainly was having a big time with Grammy Beth and all those pebbles. He has the cutest little feet and georgeous blue eyes.

Those feet!! Too precious!! My baby's feet are so much bigger now...he's three. They're not those chubby ones anymore, but oh is he fun!! Everyday he says something that makes me laugh out loud.

I thought you would love to hear this testimony of how one of your studies was a tremendous blessing to a friend. This friend's 20 year old son was critically injured in a tank bombing in Iraq a couple of weeks ago. By medical standards, Bryan shouldn't be alive, but after several outright miracles of God he is alive and in Bethesda, Maryland. We have been getting emails from his family and dad sent one today talking about how God has been preparing all his family to be able to walk through this most difficult time. Each day God brings them comfort and strength recalling something they have studied or read or memorized, etc. Today he was recounting the 5 statement pledge he memorized while doing 'Believing God' and he added this: "Needless to say, that has been a great help for all of us around here each day that we face. Each day is a series of small victories and smaller set backs--Net gain in favor of Grace each day. Bottom line is this: God in in Charge and we are not. As we daily absorb that one thought alone, it brings a great deal of peace and comfort."
I thought you would like to know how personally your teaching is bringing peace and courage to a family in the most difficult of circumstances. If you can, add Bryan to your prayer list--while he has experienced many miracles, he has a VERY long way to go and needs a huge amount of prayer.
Keep up the good "granny" work. That boy is precious.

I just have to say something!! Beth is an amazing teacher! I have learned so much from her both bibical learning and personal growth. I just loved everything she teaches. My church is finishing the Daniel series; we have one more lesson, and it has been the ride of our lives!! By the time I get to post something on here, the topic has moved!! A church in my area showed her featuring: Get out of that pit. It was amazing!! There is so much I could type; ya'll would say, just go on!! I love learning God's word, I love stretching my mind, and I love participating in God's work. I am all for that Cruise!! Let's go. You talk about going nuts, I would be closer to heaven. Just post where and when!!

Grand Grandma Beth...you look STUNNING! How wonderful it is that you are able to spend lots of quality time with your Jackson. Boys...feet...dirt...sounds like yesterday at our house. Except here, the 14-year-old boy who wears size-15 cleats wore them - mud and all - up the stairs! The good news about when big boys make messes is that you can make THEM clean it up!
HAH! When it I started to enter "the code letters" I realized it started with that boy's initials!!

This may not be the appropriate place to do this but sistas I have an urgent prayer request. I am a college instructor at a small all womens college in NC. Today one of my students shared with me that three weeks ago she was raped and is now pregnant. She wants to have an abortion. Her name is Sara and she is only 18. (a baby herself) When I see these precious pictures of Jackson my heart just breaks because Sara's little boy or girl may not ever get the chance to throw pebbles with his or her granny. Thanks for your prayers.
On a lighter note, I think a sistas cruise would be wonderful. I have never been on a cruise but to have my first one be with my sistas would be amazing!

Such precious pictures - I love looking at them and to think we've never met in person and yet are sisters in heart...
I'd like to add a vote on a couple of ideas mentioned. The cruise would be wonderful, wonderful. Just one thing - let us know as soon as possible so we can start to save up and...lose some pounds!
Also, a while back some people mentioned a cookbook. That would be great too - maybe with different sections like; low cost, super easy, special occasion stuff and a section of healthy (good) foods for those of us whose hubbies have had "words" from the doctor.
Just finished reading "The Yada Yada Prayer Group". Thought it was great - anyone else?

It's funny Beth is "Granny" as opposed to "Grandma". The term "Granny" is just so much more hip than "Grandma", and of course Beth looks as hip as any Granny should ever hope to be. ;)
Sweet little one year old... A Swedish Proverb says, "When raising children, the days are long, but the years fly by." Is it ever true!
I can't wait to be a hip Granny. Well, I should say "I look forward to it". My oldest is only 12, so I hope that I be waitin' a while anyhow.
