I'm sorry y'all - it's me again! I'm here to give you a little update on the Siesta Mama. She has been b-u-s-y! My mom told me that God was so faithful throughout the taping last weekend and that she absolutely loved the audience. I think everything went as well as possible. Thank you so much for praying! Monday and Tuesday were spent focused on Bible study. Our fall study is going great, but it does take a ton of preparation time for her and Melissa (who flies in to co-teach every other week). Wednesday was recovery day. She worked a half-day and then went home to rest. On Thursday she had a taping for the National Day of Prayer.
Today my parents are driving out to the ranch, where Beth is going to prepare the messages for next week's "New England Nights" tour. It's going to be such a neat week! I'm not going, but I hope to be able to keep you all updated as much as I can. Are any of you attending? The four events will be in Vermont, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Connecticut.
After next week, Living Proof Live will have had the great privilege of serving in all 50 states in 10 years! Isn't that cool? God, You are awesome! It is an indescribable blessing to get to witness what God is doing in every part of this country. You know, people can throw out some seriously depressing statistics about the state of the church in America, but we KNOW God is moving among women and changing their lives through His Word. We have seen it and are seeing it with our own eyes! He is not done with us, ladies. God's Word is alive and active in us and we are believing Him! Amen?

Amen! Praise God!
Amen!! Thank You, LORD!
This morning in my quiet time, the Lord highlighted some verses that I know I am supposed to share with your Mom. Will you pass them along, Amanda?
"How we thank God for you! Becasue of you, we have great joy in the presence of God. Night and day we pray earnestly for you, asking God to let us see you again to fill up anything that may still be missing in your faith." 1 Thessalonians 3:9-10
When I read those words, I thought, "Wow! Lord, give Beth the words for these next conferences to fill up anything still missing in their faith."
Much Love and prayers for you all,
Holly
Praise the Lord!
Gulley
Praises to God for all that he has done through Living Proof. I know what a difference it has made in my life.
Love and hugs,

For His Glory
Hey, Amanda! Thanks for the update on your mom. I had read from another friend's blog that both he and his wife will be at the 100th event in Connecticut with your mom. They are marriage and family folks and work at Lifeway. They are really excited about being there at that 100th event!
I will be praying that God uses those on the Deeper Still/LPM event team to reach ladies for Jesus... and to help grow up those believers who are already in the faith!
Have a great weekend!
Congrats on soon making it to all 50 states! I recently had my 1-yr. blogging anniversary and was thinking how neat it is that I've had hits from 44 of 50 states. Maybe one day I'll hit all 50 (a lot easier to do than traveling to all 50!)
By the way, if any of you out there happen to be from Hawaii, Alaska, Idaho, North Dakota, New Hampshire, or Rhode Island, would you pop in at my blog and help me reach 50? Thanks! :)
Amen! Praying for you and your family and the work you all do for His Kingdom!
Thank you!
Amen and AMEN! God moving among women is an understatement, in my opinion, as I've seen God moving more clearly THIS YEAR than any of my other 45!
THANK YOU LPM for the tremendous impact that you have, globally, on women. I think I can safely say that there are thousands upon thousands of us that know our Bibles, and, thus, our GOD more truly and deeply than ever before because of your ministry.
Big hugs,
Melinda
I'll be here with a large group of friends in Delaware!!
This could not possibly be a more timely entry, Amanda!!! I just got home from your mom's "Believing God" study (the week in which she pulled you and your sister up on stage) and she discussed that very thing! There is something VERY powerful happening in the church, and there is nothing dismal or depressing about it. I'm choosing to believe God on this one, and I am absolutely on fire with anticipation right now!!!!!
Blessings to you, your mom, your sister, and all the wonderful LPM warriors who tirelessly fight to keep God's word alive and active in ALL of us!!!!
Lisa
PRAISE GOD for the 50 states!!! AMEN!!!!
Also, I am praying for Siesta Mama with the tapings and prep. I am so wishing I lived there right now. Boo!!!
AMEN and AMEN!!!!! God is alive and active in my life and I give Him all the priase!!! Thanks for the update on your mama!! We miss her but we know she is very busy doing God's work. We appreciate all you do keeping us updated and a fresh "word" every few days -- we need that to keep on track! LPM has changed my life this year by reminding of my awesome and soverign God and about His desire to have a personal relationship with me. Thanks to all and we will all continue to pray for LPM to continue to do God's will and uplift women to His royal presence and loving kindness!

I soooo look forward to seeing Beth and hearing what God has to say next week in Connecticut (just a mile from my house!). I will be there with a group of about 50 women from my church. Thanks so much for coming out our way and for everything your ministry does to help so many women in so many places.
I finally got to catchon 2 weeks worth of blog reading due to work and some dear church friends that were hospitalized in the last weeks. Praise God they are on the mend. I wanted to say I was very moved by your blog about the hurricane. God has gifted you with a way that speaks forth urgency and warning that we all need to hear. Glad to hear about the taping sessions. I look forward to watching Wednesday's with Beth at 5:30 before going into work. I end up taking a page of Notes!!! Our Ladies our studying Living Beyond Yourself/Fruit of the Spirit study. This is the second time around for me and as always God amazes me by speaking through His word in what is happening today. Just finished Joy and am working on the week of peace study. Do we need that now or what!!!! And others need to see these fruits in us by The Holy Spirits' power. Congradulations on the gift of ministering in all 50 states. God is good and He has blessed us all ENORMOUSLY through this ministry. Thank your whole family for all the hard work dedication and love. It is making a difference!!! In Jesus' Love Kathy Knoblock

I will be at the Durham, NH night. I can't wait! I would like to put out a prayer request related to this night to Beth's team and the Siestas. Beth will be speaking in an areana in the center of the University of New Hampshire campus. Please pray for this University and all of the Christian students here. UNH was recently ranked number 11 of top party schools in America. I work at the town office for the Town of Durham so I hear alot of the bad things that go on at the campus. However, I also know people who work for InterVarsity and Campus Crusade on the campus and so I know there is a Christian light there. Thanks for your prayers! Can't wait until Tuesday night!
Karen
Amen and Amen!!
AMEN!!!!!
I'll be in Delaware next Thursday night with 25 of my closest friends. We're just over he border in Maryland. We have another 10 girls meeting us there from a church north of Baltimore. We are looking forward to an awesome night!

Let us praise His holy name together!
I'll be at the NH night with some other girls from Gordon-Conwell. I'm really looking forward to it!

Amen! God is so alive and I see Him more in my life every day!
Safe travel for Beth & Keith! Enjoy your week away, I know it's not all rest but I'm sure the peace and quiet will be nice.
Our new home in College Station is not yet complete, but we took some folding chairs out last night and sat in the family room looking out on the backyard. It was the quietest, most peaceful "sound" I've heard in a very long time! After a few minutes of quiet a doe and two fawns walked into our yard and grazed for a few minutes. Talking about God being present-that was truly a gift from God! (Keith, don't even think about bringing your gun!) :0) That's what your ranch is for, right?
LPL is such a blessing to so many, I know I'm very grateful for all the time that Beth, Amanda and Melissa give to all the studies and events. Thank you!!
In His Love, Bobbie
Yes, I'm going and bring 13 other women to the Bloomfield, CT one.
I have been praying for the event!
Thank you for coming back this year again.

Amen!
Hi Amanda,
Some of the ladies from our No Other Gods summer bible study (we finally finished!!!!) are attending the NH conference and will meet there for the first time (in person that is)! We had such a meanful study time together this summer that we have decided to do another study together.
Looking forward to it all!
Yes, I am so looking forward to spending the evening with Siesta Mama next week in DE. I am in MD and will drive about an hour with about 10 other women. Praying Gods presence over the entire event.
Chris
What a blessing that your sister Melissa gets to come in every other week for Bible study. What a beautiful time of year to be in New England. Thanks for the update!
Hi Amanda,
I am thrilled to be going to the New England Nights in CT. We have a few car loads coming from our church in Wethersfield CT.
Gina from CT
AMEN!.....Preach it, sista!!
Amen and amen. I pray God's presence upon Beth this week as she prepares to minister and as she seeks the Word. I love how you call her Bethie! My name is Beth and my girls call me that also. You are such a sweet thing and so refreshing! I love your Jackson stories. My grandkids love candy corn and Elijah, who is 3, calls them triangles.
Have a great weekend.
In Him, Beth Herring (Oak Grove, La.)
Amen! God is good!
Amanda you are very sweet and very special. It seems like any of us who have done your mom's studies knew that about you. Thank you for taking the time to update us on things going on, and for being faithful to what God want's you to do. You are a blessing.
Love and prayers,
Judy
Yes, I will be at the Vermont conference. Even though I live in New Hampshire, it is closer for me to go to the Vermont one. I am so looking forward to going. We are quite a few ladies from our church going. See Beth there.
Lyn from Littleton New Hampshire
Oh...I wish I was going. A group from my church is headed to the Delaware one but I will be in St. Louis next week.
Will be praying!!!!
I'm BELIEVING God! And right now, that takes so much effort to battle the flesh and my flighty emotions but He is worthy!
Praying for you Mama Bethie...miss you on here but understand completely (can't imagine your life!).
Amanda...I love hearing from you too girl! Have a fantastic weekend!
Yes! I will be going to Delaware, and my 19 y.o. daughter Nanette has agreed to go with me! GLORY TO GOD! There will be a bunch of ladies from Mt. Vernon Mennonite and Change of Pace South bible study there too! It is going to be an awesome time in the Lord! I haven't been in a meeting with Beth since Hershey and the Lord really moved then, too. I have to travel about 1.25 hrs. Chris in PA
Amen and Amen!
Praise you Lord! Let your mom know we will be praying for her!
It is nothing short of miraculous what the Lord has done in the lives of millions of women and men across this country and across this world through the last ten years of the Living Proof ministry!
I know I am among many who can say "I am a life that was changed" because of this ministry!
Thank you Lord and thank everyone connected with LPM!
Love to you all!
Kristi B.
Just gotta tell you we can't wait to see her next week. We've been waiting a year to see her again. I am taking two other ladies and we will be in NH on Tuesday night and are planning to be in CT on Friday. The only sadness is that it is only one night. But we are thrilled. We will give her a great welcome. We are greatful to get whatever we can. This is a dark, cold place, "frozen chosen". Beth is a breath of fresh air. Those of us who do her studies just love her. We love being a part of this blog as it makes us feel we are part of the family. The cheerleaders behind the curtain.
God bless all you do and keeping us close.
Nancy from Massachusetts
The "Circle Sisters" from Delaware are thrilled to have Beth on “our turf” October 16th !! We last saw her in Colorado Springs last May, when we flew out and "kidnapped" our dear sister in Christ, Michelle, to take her to the Living Proof Live conference. She was completely shocked to see us, and even more shocked when Beth read Lonna’s letter in her introductory session Friday night and promptly came down to meet us!!
We look forward to the word the Lord will speak through Beth here. We are praying for a powerful anointing on her and the transforming of lives throughout that arena. May He prepare hearts to hear the knowledge He wants to impart to each one of us attending.
By the way, in preparing for our church’s upcoming Women’s retreat, one of our sisters viewed session 8of “Believing God",entitled, “Believing God to Get to Your Gilgal.” While we had done the study a year before we became the “Circle Sisters” (so named because on the trip back from your West Virginia conference in 2006 our group of 9 convened at a truck stop and promptly formed a large prayer circle in the parking lot in driving rain to combat the enemy’s attacks on us all and our families), we had forgotten that Gilgal means “circle.” So with that said, we bid you farewell with our new name…
Much love in Christ… the GilGals
Lonna, Jenn, and Ellen
Amen! God is Awesome. Just today, I was in a pickle... because I had this certain thing all planned out and wonderful... but then, half of it crumbled.
The Lord was so sweet, He revealed His faithfulness and calmed some of my stress.
Amen! For sure!! Have a great day Amanda!
I'll be praying for Beth all weekend!! I attended the event in Providence last year and couldn't wait to go to CT this year - until I got pregnant and scheduled a c-section for 3 days after the event. It didn't seem wise to travel at such a time (not to mention my poor bladder would never make it through the night)!
BUT, the women of my church have been working through "Loving Well" for the last 4 weeks. We finished last night and a group of 10 from the study will be attending the event in CT as the ending note for our Bible study. All but 2 of these ladies are in their early 20s and either college students or newly graduated & married.
I can't wait to hear how God moves (even if he did plan for me to not be there; sniff.sniff.).
Bringing the Word to all 50 states is such a testimony to your faithfulness. That's a lot of Light being spread. God's blessings be all over each of you. Amanda, extra prayers to you for your pregnancy and good health. Love, Annette
I was so blessed to have been in the Life Outreach audience! Your prayer were effectural, ladies. We were so very blessed and we've seen God working out in our lives what Beth taught! PRAISE HIM for his faithfulness!
Praise His name for giving us Beth and others who have a heart for Him with a desire to share His Word.
We are blessed! :)
Amen!
Amen! Since I became a Christian 9 yrs. ago, God has done such a work in me through His Word - and the vast majority of my study has come through Beth's studies and journals. I know ya'll must hear it so often, you could be numb to it, but I can not begin to describe what a blessing Beth Moore has been to me. I am doing one of a couple studies left of hers that I haven't done - Daniel. On week 4 - it is so awesome, I am loving it - and I am LEARNING so much!!! I really do feel like she is sitting across the table with me sometimes - as I read her words. She has been an instrument used of God to cause me to fall madly in love with Him and His Word - thank you!!!
Thank you so much for the update. Your mother is one busy lady for Jesus - Amen! I hope you are feeling better now and soon over the morning sickness. Love, DQ Nana
Amen! Praise God!
Whew! I think I'd need more than a half day to rest with a schedule like that!
AMEN! God is so good!
I get to go to CT next week to hear and see Siesta Beth live! It is the first time away in three years for me and a dear friend. I cannot wait to hear what God wants to say and do!
We have about a 90minute drive and plan to leave the husbands and kids early enough for a mani and pedi session! Glory, I can't wait!
Love,
Mair
Congrats on the 50 states...I got the t-shirt...lol.
The church in America ROCKS!!! I just returned from a few weeks in the UK and France, and I don't know what I would do if God did not move among us like He does. I spoke at a church outside London and to people in other small towns who are without a church and without pastors in the churches they are in. Many are desperate for God and yet disillusioned with God and the church. Yeah, America is doing very well!
AMEN!!
Amen!! God is so good! And He is moving and working amoung us, with us and for us! I am believeing God!! My MIL just started one of Beth's studies this fall and I am so thrilled. She told my husband "I really like how she speaks." and he said "I knew you would!" I am praying God's Word will be alive and real to her through Beth's teaching. Thank you, thank you! To God be the glory, forever and ever!
Speak God's truth, Beth, as I know you will. If there is ever a season when the church needs to know that God's Word is alive and active and on the move, it's NOW! I'm desperate for the presence of God in my life, and my heart aches with the daily news. We need to be reminded that we walk with God.
It sounds so simple, and yet, so often our forgetfulness. I'll be praying for you next week as you go. May the full anointing of God's Spirit be your portion as you minister to our New England sisters.
peace~elaine
Amen.
Oh, praise God for the work that you all do! I have learned so much and have such a deep relationship with God as a result. I thank God for Beth and her dedication to His Word every day when I do my Bible Study homework or pick up one of her books.
I also would ask you all to pray for me to discern His will for my life as I am making some decisions about my own work in my church.
Thanks so much for keeping this blog going. It means a whole lot to me and so many others!
Dana
Thank you LPM! Your studies have fostered in me a love for God's Word like no other! Bless you all! xoxo

AMEN Amanda!!! I hope our Siesta Mama will be getting lots of rest at the ranch. I will certainly be praying for her.
Wonderful! Praying for siesta mama.
I just started the Patriarch's study and I have to say I love it. I had an encounter with GOD this morning and it just blew my socks off. I had just finished the portion of study about Hagar and man, was it mind blowing and thought provoking. GOD spoke to me through that portion and let me know personally that he is the GOD who sees. I love studying the word of GOD and especially studying about historical figures such as Abram (Abraham) and Sarai (Sarah) and Hagar (mother of Ishmael). The primitive connection with these people and me is just incredible and exciting.
Thank you Beth and all who work with you, from your family to the editing to the sound person to food prep. Keep doin what you do unto the LORD and it cannot be anything but a blessing.
Molly
Oh, your mom is going to LOVE New England in October! It is amazing!

I will be there in Delaware and I am looking forward to hearing God speak straight to my heart as He always does through you, Beth. Actually, I AM EXTREMELY excited to see what God is going to do!!! I am bringing 9 ladies with me including my youngest daughter who is almost 12 years old. I have been extremely blessed to hear you speak in Bethlehem, Hershey, Baltimore, Oklahoma City, and Rhode Island!! Thank you, Beth, for loving Jesus like you do!! My prayers are with you!
Susan from Pa.
Hi,
I'm going to the New hampshire conference at UNH. I'm leading Beth's bible study Jesus and One and Only and we have a lot and I mean a lot of seekers in our study. I'm hoping the conference will be a blessing to the women I'm bringing. We're never disappointed with Beth and her message. My mom is also coming and she's a tough cookie but LOVES going to see Beth. I've brought her 2 other times, to Maine and Rhode Island. Keep you posted.
Debbie
We have a tour bus of ladies coming to NH from Nova Scotia. We are so excited that Beth is close enough for us to see her in person. God has used Beth's studies to do Amazing things in the Maritime provinces. Can't wait until Tuesday!!
Coram Deo
Carla
AMEN!
Praying for all you put your hands to.
Bless You and love you!
That is so AWESOME! I'm tired just hearing Mama's schedule, though. I promise I'll be sleeping for her! I'm really good at sleeping. It's my favorite pastime. Besides shopping. Which I did today. Anyway, I definitely won't be there since I live clear on the other side of the country, but I'll be praying.
Hey Amanda! I just wanted to tell you that I wrote a blog about how Beth's audio Bible study was a witnessing tool to two gentlemen in the car next to me while we were stopped at a traffic light!!! Ha! It was crazy awesome!
..you don't have to.. but I wrote about it in my blog, the post is "The 'Light' at the Traffic Light" Just a fun way that God used her awesome ministry.
I will be in Vermont AND New Hampshire
WOO HOO!!!!

All 50 states- Ohio too?
Keep us posted....we are women in need of LOTS of "details!" I'll be prayin' the heavens down for the ministry that will unfold in following events!!!
Make sure to include the style Mama Siesta was sportin' at all these events!! I just love her outfits :) My clothes are in need of some mix-n-matach ministry this week!
Hey Siestas,
Please pray for me, I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow and I am afraid of what he is going to tell me. My imagination tends to be vivid when it comes to medical issues...
I'll let you know what he says. I don't want to be afraid.
Jan
I'll be praying for Mama Beth and the whole team. Wow what an awesome week she is going to have!
Amanda, my husband takes a few mission trips to Africa a year, and I know when my husband comes home, he has seen God in ways I never have. Also, there are always changes and growth that take place within him and in the family. God has placed in on my heart to ask how Curtis is doing after his time in India and how you all as a family are doing? I pray you guys are well and 'back in the saddle'.
Have a blessed week, may His favor shine ever so abundantly upon you all!
Your siesta in Charlottesville,
Kate
Amanda
I have not been on this blog in a while. I have tears rolling down by face from laughing so hard about the netipot and curtis. Visual is more than I have laughed in a long time. I am going to see your mom in NH. I have invited my mom to go with me. We have both done several of her studies. God has used the studies as a tool for me and my mom to grow spiritually together.
Also just a note to thank you for keeping us posted on family and up coming events to look for. Letting us know what needs prayer. Thank you for all you do.
Judy
YES!!! A few of my Siesta's and I will be attending the Connecticut Night in New England!!! (Six of us to be exact!) We are so excited. It is the one time we get to go away and spend some bonding time with the Lord and of course with each other. It is our favorite time of the year. We make it a girls weekend. (well we are always back Saturday night so we can attend Church on Sunday) We always spend Friday traveling to our destination and then we shop till we drop, refresh, then attend our Mama Beth's Living Proof evening. We are always uplifted and find lots to share. We then spend all night talking in one hotel room and the next day we usually attend the Living Proof morning event, however, the New England nights is just one evening. I think we may go through Mama Beth withdrawl. We may just be wandering the streets of Connecticut with our Bibles in hand! That might be just what the Lord intended. Well we also might get a little more shopping, or sleeping in, have lunch and head home.
I pray that Mama Beth stays refreshed through her tiring schedule. I know that God will pour his annointing over her and she will be mighty in whatever He chooses for her to teach. Thank the Good Lord for blessing Mama Beth and all of you at LPM for sharing your gifts. You are truly a blessing.
Hope to see some of you there. I will look to see who else is going. Maybe I will even meet some of you at this event. That would be fabulous!
In His Love, Luv2Praise, Lori
I had plans to be at the CT conference, but our plans fell through :( So sad :( I AM making plans to be in New Orleans in '09, though!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!
Thank you so much for bringing LPL to Durham, NH. I will be there and I just know that so many women will be so blessed by Beth, Travis and the entire team! Over the last couple of years, I have attended LPL in Maine and Rhode Island with friends. Then, I was able to bring my mom to the Jacksonville event. The message and worship always manages to radically impact me. So...thank you LP team for faithfully serving your Lord and truly bringing the LIFE changing message!
Erica in Maine
re planning on using some of your lessions in our S.S. class. We are a small church in Southern Ok. So remember us in your prayers as we will be praying for your work.
Will see Beth in Delaware!
Woo hoo!!!!
Looking forward to hearing what God has to say through her!
AMEN!
Praise the Lord, I will be at the New England Nights conference in Delaware on Thursday!! This will be the first time I've seen Beth in person and I can't wait! I know that the Lord has something precious for me. The really cool thing is that I'll be leaving for my church's women's retreat the next day where I have the privilege of guiding us through the "Loving Well" retreat material from Beth. Isn't it amazing the way in which God weaves themes throughout different seasons of our lives? Our memory work for VBS at my church this summer was 1 John 4, so when I saw the "Loving Well" material when we were planning our women's retreat, I knew that God had something up His sleeve! I won't be at all surprised if He has something similar for Beth to share in Delaware on Thursday! I pray that I can embrace the lessons He has for me in this season.
I'll be in Delaware wearing a tshirt I made that says IM A SIESTA! So stop me and say hello, I want to meet my blog sisters! Cant wait to go!
Chris in PA

Invisible Presence Made Visible
(2006 Heidi Tobin)
Yesterday, the rising pressure of circumstances brought the company of fear.
Today, they give sight to what is not easily seen.
What once was received with dread,
is now embraced as a gift of learning to see the presence God.
In the past I leaned on my own understanding which blocked the voice of God.
Now I call...I wait...I listen for His answer.
Before I relied on my own determination to get through these circumstances in a godly way.
Now I realize it is a time for me to cry out to the Lord to speak.
No longer are they meant for me to cope alone,
or to hold my breathe that I passed the test.
Rather it is received as a divine moment that creates a oneness between the Father and me.
So, welcome rising pressure of circumstances,
so that I may see the Most Invisible made Visible.
Thank you for posting and for your time...blessings to you, Amanda, Beth, and Melissa...well, I guess I can't forget the other two children...with the paws-for-prayer.
Heidi (Tobin)
