Hey, Siestas! It's nearly 10:00 PM Eastern time and I just got back to my hotel room. The group was wonderful. Thank you for praying! I wish so much I'd had more time to get to know them. I'm the slightest downcast because I threw too much into one night. I was really excited about the lesson but, as it turns out, it was better before I gave it. I hate when that happens. BUT, I love Jesus and I loved that gathering of people tonight in Burlington, Vermont, and I know He was there. I think I remedied the fact that we'd only be there for one session by doing three sessions of material in an hour and a half. Perhaps it was the time line I did from Genesis to Revelation that put us over the edge. Blast.
Still, God is faithful and His Word was spoken and He won't let it return void. Keep praying for me! I need to adjust IMMEDIATELY to material that is suitable for one session and one setting. And pray for the precious people we will serve this week. We are so happy to be here!
I want to stop and pray for you right now, too.
My faithful Father, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Ruler of Land and Sea, I lift Your elect to You. I pray this week for You to grant them clarity in a very specific area where they are confused and not sure what to do next. As You said through Your prophet Ezekiel, You have put Your Spirit in them and You will MOVE them to follow Your will. Remind them that they are not stuck. Not without choices. Not without leadership. Whisper in each ear, "this is the way, walk ye in it." Cause them - and me - to cease beating on doors that are closed and walk through the one that You Yourself left open even if it's not our personal favorite Door #1. Bring confessions to their lips - and mine - of Your gracious providence and Your worthiness to be trusted and praised. Tend to their hearts. Where they feel battered and bruised but too busy to stop long enough to be healed, hem them in Your faithful hands, hold them still, and rejoice over them with singing. Tell them again how You love them. How You've called them. How You don't make mistakes. Grant them - and me - spirits of wisdom and revelation that we may know You better and recognize You when we bump smack into Your Presence. And more than anything else, circumcise our hearts to love You and to love that frustrating person in our lives as we love ourselves. Teach us what the Apostle Paul meant when he told the Galatians that all that matters is faith expressing itself in love. We want to be Godly women, Lord. We cry out to You for help. We cry out to You for You.
In the saving, delivering, empowering Name of Jesus,
Amen
I'll talk to you tomorrow, Siestas!

Praying for you Beth. The LORD has made you a great teacher. I pray for total peace and rest for you tonight.
Siesta in FL
Amen Mama Siesta! Thank you for the prayer and prayers are being lifted up for you too.
I love you!!
cathy
Did my husband call in that prayer to you? God could not have spoken more clearly to me through you. Not what I wanted to hear but what i needed.
Thank you Mrs. Beth, that was so sweet and powerful. What a way to go to bed tonight.
I hope the New England Nights has been a huge success. Praying for that.
Miss hearing from you,
Wendy
I pray Father, Your mighty hand over Beth as she prepares for the upcoming days. I pray Your word becomes so overwhelmingly explosive, that women are having a desire and passion in their hearts to search the Holy Scriptures for themselves. I pray Your anointing over the time so that Beth is able to speak a clear, concise word over these lives that have come prepared, hungry and searching for You-the Giver of Life, Lord! In Christ's Power and Love, Amen!
I just felt like we had our very own John 17 prayer. Thank you Beth I know we all needed that and I also pray that God bring you a "DELIGHT" from your teaching. We are our own worst critics. So rest in the fact that he has prepared them for the words you brought!
We love you momma Beth
Thank you for that special prayer. i needed every word!
Oh, tears. Thank you for this prayer--how timely for me. We will pray for you, too.
Need to go read Ezekiel :)--
Amy
Thank you, Beth, for your prayer. I so needed that tonight! I need wisdom and CLARITY on an area in my life where I am so confused. It was appropriate for me tonight!
I am doing STEPPING UP right now. I ordered it a while ago, but the timing was not right. I went on to another study, and can see where it is appropriate for this season in my life.
Praising God for you and yours tonight!
Thank you so much for your prayer sweet Beth. It couldn't be more timely for me.
Praying for your session teaching adjustments and for God to move in the lives of the women you are touching.
Bless you.
Jean in NC
I DO want to be a Godly woman. Thank-you for your prayer for me. I pray the same for you, sweet Beth.
His Word does NOT return void!!!
Melana in Wyoming
Just on the off chance you'd have that moment, I checked. You did and your prayer met a precious need in my heart! Encouragement and repremand...both are good, as the discipline of our Father is supernatural!!Oh Beth I can just hear your hands coming together in thanks to the Lord a bit slower than usual as you praise Him for those words you didn't like. But praise Him you did..What a delight! I can't wait to hear all the treasures the Lord will bring through this trip. Blessings, Tiffany For His Glory
And once again, you speak to me alone (at least that is the way it seems) and say just what I need to hear when I need to hear it. I will be on my knees fo ryou this week. Beth - as if you could give less than "a word!!!" - our prayerswill blanket your way.
I love you so!
Becky Jo
thank you for that prayer. i needed it. my dear husband needed it (for me to surrender my heart and love him unselfishly. thank you.
I adore you sweet Beth,
I am praying.
Thank you for praying for us here.
hugs,
Deirdre
Now go out there and have fun
today.
Praising God with you, for your first night on the East Coast. Thank you for your rich prayer for us, your sisters . It is especially meaningful for those of us in California; winds, fires, political/spiritual warfare. We are in the midst of a 40 day fast to have God move in our state. Praise His Name..blessing on you, Beth...Love, Pam in San Diego
Hey Beth, God is awesome and He always uses you in a mighty way. Even your prayer tonight spoke to me. You are in my prayers!
Thank you.... I needed to have that prayer said for me tonight. Bless you sweet Beth!
Beth,
Thank you so much for your precious prayer. It is so timely for me right now. Our family has been dealing with a lot lately regarding our 13 year old daughter, and since my husband is out of the country, I am experiencing some anxiety of what the week might bring for us. The last time he was on a trip we had a lot of trouble with her. I will claim the truths of your prayer all week.
With much love and gratefulness,
Nancy
Hmm... I'm not sure I know what to say other than I know that prayer was meant for me. I want to say thank you for always having the right thing to say at the exact right time.
May God bless your words this week.
Hugs,
Melinda
thanks, beth, for keeping your praying siestas updated!! i will continue to pray as the Lord reveals Himself mightily through you in New England this week!
thank you for praying for us, too...it spoke right to this woman who desires godliness!!
wow beth.. that was a prophetic prayer just for me. Thanks so much and I am praying for you as you minister in this new way.
last night I was blown away by the Lord as I had an unexpected late night kitchen table with green tea worship time with HIM. If any of you siestas need an encouraging word from the Lord, please check out my blog at reachsouthasia.blogspot.com and read what God gave me as I was having this unexpected worship time.
love your siesta in nepal
Thank you for that sweet prayer. I just shared it with my email group of praying moms.
I even threw a "y'all" in my email for good measure.
Blessings to you!
Beth, I bet your lesson tonight ministered in ways you'll never know about. There have been times I feel like I messed something up and then find out later that it was a real blessing to someone. I'm so glad God uses us in our weaknesses!
That prayer touched me so deeply. Thank you! It was like a healing balm on a bruised soul.
Leslie
Oh Beth...dear, sweet Beth...how I needed your prayer tonight. Let it be Lord, let it be.
I feel certain that God spoke the word through you tonight and that it touched the very souls of the people who needed a fresh awakening of their spirit...whether it was too much or too long, God had His hand on it and delivered.
It stirs me just knowing your heart on the matter, and that you then turn and pray for all of us siestas who so deeply admire and respect your calling in the Kingdom.
Your prayer furthermore touched some places in my own soul tonight. Only God could have known that I needed to click on your blog this evening as my two babies sleep and the rain pours down outside....
Thank you for the prayer. Know that I am also praying for you this week.
Love, Amy in Texas
I am so excited for them to hear you speak! Wish I could be there. I'm sure the ones tonight would be shocked to hear you say it was better before you gave it. You said what you said for a reason... The past 2 days I've listened to 2 of your conferences. It has been such a blessing to me! One I had never heard before and the other I had. They both inspired me so very much!! I'm trying to save another new one for later because that's all I have for now, but I can hardly wait!! I'll be praying for you this week for sure.
I'm praying for you tonight right now. Remember, Beth. When you're not sure that they're receiving it, it doesn't mean they aren't. That's the Holy Spirit's job. Rest sweetly tonight and be blessed with His peace in your mind, in your heart. And thanks for the powerful prayer. Love, Annette
I was deeply touched by your prayer as the last few weeks we have been studying about Ezekiel and how I have been learning about the importance of a circumsised heart as well. About trusting God to step out and that His grace is MORE than suffecient and He is more than able to equip us to do what He has called us to do. I have been wrestling with doors and wondering which way to go. Thank you Lord that you are so completely faithful to show us the way in which to walk. Thank you Beth for your prayers.
May The Lord continue to bless you and keep you steadfast in all that He has purposed you to do.
May the Lord gird up your loins and strengthen you and encourage you; that you may know His will in what to do.
May He impart His divine revelation and Wisdom to you as you continue to teach His people His word. May He emcompass you with His Love and protection. May His word that will be planted in the hearts of His people bring for fruit for His kingdom and glory.
Philippians 1:6 "being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;"
Go get em!
That beautiful prayer feels like it was spoken just for me. It spoke peace into a place in my soul that really needed it. Thanks so much. I'll continue to pray for you and those you will be speaking to.
Thank you so much for that prayer. I felt it. I'm so encouraged now! :-)
We were in Burlington tonight and your words were powerful. We especially loved the timeline because we are doing a study on Salvation History. Don't change a thing! We will be in New Hampshire tomorrow night and can't wait to hear more of His Word through you.
Marcia and Ellen
Been there and done that! God's Word is so awesome and intricately packed with priceless jewels that most everyone seems to be clueless about, that packing everything that needs to be shared in one lesson just can't be done sometimes in the completely thorough way we want. I'll be praying that the Lord shows you how to downsize without feeling like you are short changing your learners. It is most likely probable that your Christian sisters were ecstatic with the message that God shared through you. I have ended a Sunday School lesson with my High School girls more than once in the same frame of mind to be approached by one of them with their testimony as to how the lesson helped them. It never ceases to amaze me how incredible our Great God is. I am currently doing Bible studies that you wrote several years ago, and it is as if our gracious Lord prompted you to help me personally, you have thought carefully how to do that, and you have just put your pen down with the finished product ready to be placed in my hands. If our Almighty Father can do that, He can use in a meaningful way anything he impressed upon you to share even though you may not be fully convinced that He did so.I suppose that I am preaching to the choir, but sometimes it helps for someone to remind us of the truths we steadily teach to others. You have helped me so much. I'm just sorry that I was not in the audience so that I could thank you first hand for the effort, prayer, and intense commitment that fueled what I am 100% sure was a tremendously helpful Bible study to those who were so fortunate as to experience it.
With heartfelt Christian love,
Valerie Eades
Dear Beth,
I needed that prayer so much! It reinforced what I felt in my quiet time this morning....I am still loved even though nothing is going the way I believed it would by now. Thank you for listening to the Spirit's moving in your heart and for sharing your journey with us.
That prayer was wonderful AMEN to that! God has and did show himself in a mighty mighty way tonight. You had the very intercession of the SON on your side tonight. He was whispering ever so gently in Our Father's ear....listen to her DAD, there she goes just braggin on you again...I know we are blessed and He is proud!
Have a wonderful time enjoy the leaves and the breeze!
Chel (FW, TX)
Wow, Beth, thank you for praying for me. I am humbled.
And I will be praying for you for the next three sessions. Sleep well, my friend.
I am praying for you! I love you and pray that you will keep on keeping on the good fight for Christ as I know you are! Please don't be to hard on yourself, God will be faithful to provide a harvest! God bless you! And enjoy the beauty you are beholding!
Love ya,
Lori in SW MO
Thank you, Beth, for praying for me. May God pour His wisdom into you and may you deliver His message just the way He would say it Himself. In Jesus' name.
Agh, Beth, I am sure the Holy Spirit of God used you greatly!! I am so excited to hear and see you on Friday here in CT... wish we CT siestas could meet!!!
Mrs. Beth, praying a prayer of peace over you. Clap your hands and give up a shout of praise, for His WORD is powerful. And I will guarantee that they received a word tonight.
And thank you for your kind humility that prayed that prayer over us tonight. I know you not only look a lot like Beth Moore, but you look a lot like Jesus right now.
Blessings this week.
Donna
Siesta Beth,
You are being lifted up to God's throne! Your prayer is such a blessing.. it covered so many areas that I struggle with!
Many Blessings to you
Delilah
Thank You, sweet Sister for washing me in that prayer. What an appropriate and wonderful way to end this day! God has given me GodStops--all throughout the day: a very blue, bluebird, two deer, beautiful yellow Aspens,a bird finding an insect on a tree just 2 feet away, and now this prayer.
Thank You, Beth! Thank You.
I do have a very frustrating person that I need God to love through me. It's my own mother. And she is so covered in prickly-ness and mean-spirited-ness, it is so hard to love her. Thanksgiving is coming and we will spend 3 nights under her roof. And my one prayer has been--God, help me to love her. You know.
I love you, dearly, and am praying for you this week--to love Jesus more and more. Soak Him up, Friend.
Holly
Beth,
I love you dearly. I am confident not one word you spoke to those women tonight fell to the ground! Not a single word was unneeded nor will it return void! You know that devil is up to no good, speaking his native language of deception, trying to discourage you.
Thank you for your prayer for us...for me.
God phoned that in just for me...!! I've gone through such a trial at my church the past 2 years and we think we are ready to leave and find another church home. But only if He leads us out the door.
I'll be praying for the rest of your time in New England. He will have His glorious way with all of you!
Cheryl (iamHis-I can't remember my password to log in!)
Thank you for the prayer you prayed for us. I think it was really just meant for me tonight. . . (crying)
Praying for you, Beth. Weeping as I read your prayer and how it speaks to the heart of many things going on in my life - from one ministry door closing to another being open wide... to the timing issue with lessons and the heart cry for wisdom to the frustrating relationship... Yikes it is all there.
Thank you for being faithful and praying as He directs - we love you!
I just so happend to finish journalling about a verse that ROCKED MY WORLD tonight and I thought it was quite fitting:
"I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, `Here am I, here am I,' To a nation which did not call on My name.(Isaiah 65:1)
If He can permit Himself (Who else would He ask?) to be found by those who did not seek, He can surely get a word to those who do.
Show Yourself strong, Lord!
I would have to echo what everyone has said. I am sure that God was faithful to His promise to work His will out tonight through His word. And there is already feedback that they loved the timeline!!! And your prayer was so powerful and God has used it to touch so many! I know I needed it. I just watch stepping up, the first session for the fourth time (once with a friend, once with my girls and once with each group doing it - and each time I take more notes) and if I may be so bold to say this...and a very amazing, chosen-of-God teacher talked about this very thing. :~) I will pray that God will give you direction, peace and sleep.
love you
mk
Thank You Lord that You, tonight, were there
Help Beth to rest without worry or care
Help her to adjust to one session and setting, her request is immediate, for now
Your Spirit is able, so Lord we ask in tangible ways, show Beth the "how"
Amen.
Thank you kindly for the prayer over me - I'm blessed.
Amen. Thank you for taking time to love us and pray for us.
Praying for you as well.
Pam /southern Indiana
Oh Beth, whew! Bumping into Him now!
Thank you for lifting us up.
Lifting all of you up this night!
God Bless you and rest well!

And ... Amen.
SOOO grateful for that prayer. I NEEDED DESPERATELY!!! (its 1:13am..cant sleep) Jesus thank you for being so Faithful to Beth. You never fail us. Continue to bestow on her more new gifts, new knowledge, more revelation, to give you the honor and glory forever and ever!! Jesus thank you so much for all the wonderful things your Holy Spirit has done for so many through your precious Beth. We love you Lord!!!
I am bawling. Oh Beth, if you only knew. Thank you for being sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit.
Thank you for letting us share in your ministry through prayer, Beth!
I am praying for you each day. May God have something for Himself in every message given! May He empower, strengthen and anoint your every word and every ear and heart that hears! To His wonderful Name be GLORY FOREVER AND EVER, Amen.
Oh, Beth. Oh, Beth! What in the world, I wonder, made you choose those particular words to pray for us? I am sitting in a hotel room on the complete opposite coast from you right now, (and far from my home) and am facing a monumentally huge decision - and I can't hear God. Feel lost! Have no idea which way to turn. Afraid only of leaving His will, and not knowing what that is. Something made me check this blog before bed, and I absolutely shivered with gratitude, delight, thankfulness, and not a small amount of amazement as you, generous woman, poured yourself out tonight to a crowd, then came back to your hotel and poured your prayers out upon us. I humbly feel (and need) those words so, so personally. Thank you! I am not alone!
I SOOOO needed that tonight. Thank you and Amen!
Thank you!
Wish I had been there tonight! I would have loved getting three nights of study in one! I'm sure the Vermont siestas did too!
God Bless you Beth!
Thanks again for the prayer - it is beautiful
It is so sweet to be able to pray for you as you keep us updated so well. I was at "Stepping Up" tonight and we were discussing lesson 1 (we take 2 weeks for each week so we will watch the video next Monday). It is soo true that His word accomplishes exactly what He plans!
You are great and we love you!!!
Good night, good night far flies the light,
But still God's love shall flame above,
Making all bright,
Good night, good night. -Victor Hugo-
karen :) :)
Beth - thank you for praying for me, for us. I heard it in your voice as I read it.
I will pray that you will be able to condense your material as you say you need to, and I know it is ALL going to be MARVELOUS.
Have a great trip and I know you will have a blast because you don't waste a moment and will continue to have so much fun.
Thank you also for asking our Father to tend to our hearts and hem us in and hold us still. Powerful - blessed to be included in that prayer.
My greatest desire is to be a Godly woman, and I'm praying for the opportunity to live that out today.
Love to you,
Georgia Jan
Oh Beth-
Sometimes God calls us to cram and prepare! Our nation is in a desperate season and I believe God gave a good word tonight thru you! What He gives out He also gives the grace to digest... may your excitement, your enthusiasm, the entheos you so amazingly live in overwhelm the hearts of these women and may the Holy Spirit give a divine download so they can catch up and have the gaps filled in!
Divine Downloads sister... that's the word!
Love you
Sandi
Beth, I'm sure you did fine. So...people went home with a doggie bag, better that than going home hungry. I know when I attend conferences I want all I can get out of it and many tines I'm starving for more. You listen to the Lord and hear from Him - don't be so hard on yourself. Most there needed exactly all that you gave...and the others...maybe just spectators who now have an insatiable desire to dig in deeper themselves and figure out what it is all about.
You bring His Word in such a unique fashion...it's what sets you apart...as long as it was His word, the people will get it and flourish from it.
xoxoxoxo

God's blessings or peace and rest and quiet strength to you! He knows just what He wants to accomplish, and He is so excited to be using you! I am praying you would know His confirmation, His provision and His overwhelming love and smile of approval.
:-) Hoosier Siesta
Thank you Beth - we love you back!
Love and Blessings, Debbie in Tenneseee
You have no idea how much I love that you say "Blast"! gal (giggle a little)
Oh, my goodness. Your prayer just hit me right in the heart. I know the Spirit led you to pray that particular prayer over us, but this particular sister was just sitting here a moment ago with my hand over my mouth, awestruck at how perfectly tailored that prayer was to my particular situation.
God uses you in mighty ways, Beth, and I am so thankful. I am also so thankful to you that you continually make yourself a vessel for His use and pour out so much for countless women every single day.
In your Believing God study you talk about how Kay Arthur approached you during one day while speaking to a large group, pointed at you, looked you straight in the eye, and gave you a direct word from God. That is exactly how I'm feeling right now. Praise Him for His unending faithfulness and unfailing providence and love in all situations!!!
Thank you, Beth. You will be strongly in my prayers as you travel and encourage multitudes of women just as you've encouraged me. I second what Melanie said... it was exactly, and I mean exactly, what I needed to hear. Its scares me a bit to know that God isn't going to let me sit idle, but I trust that He will take me exactly where I need to go.
Much love and many prayers. Wish I was catching you when you come to PA!!!
Oh, Beth. That prayer just made the tears start flowing. It touched me so. I can't thank you enough.
I'm lifting you up in prayer, as well :)
Big Hugs,
Kate :)
Thank you for such a lovely prayer!
And I'm glad to know that you sometimes feel downcast after a message too. I did one of those last week--it was definitely better before I gave it too!
Praying for you as you prune for tonight--and for God to make the clock stand still--like he did for the sun--if necessary so you can get it all in!
Joanne
Thank you SO MUCH for your prayer over us. I feel like so many of the others who have commented that it spoke DIRECTLY to me and is so timely in my life right now. Only the One, True and Living God can minister in such a way...thank you for being His vessel to me this morning. Will be praying for you this week. Teach it Mama Siesta!!!
Good Morning Beth....I'm a day behind so I am just looking at yesterdays blog and reading the prayer. I immdediatly began to cry as I read the words "stuck" because I have been crying out to the Lord that I am stuck, not seeing a direction to go or feeling His push in any direction. Just sitting like a bump on a log. God was certainly speaking to me today. It is joy unspeakable that such a great God wants to speak directly to me. So overwhelming, so humbling.
Thank you Beth.....
Hey, Beth! You know without a doubt your Siestas are praying. I am confident the Lord will help you make those IMMEDIATE changes.
"When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak whatever He hears. He will also declare to you what is to come." John 16:13
He will guide you.
I loved how you were thinking out loud about how you thought the night in Burlington went. How you wished there was more time to get to know them.
May I share what I have experienced every time I have heard you speak? Whether my stadium seat was on the front row or in the nose-bleed section, God has spoken directly to my heart with a life-changing message. Only God can do that.
As you said, God is faithful and His word will not return void.
Thank you for praying over us, your siestas.
Everytime you come to my mind I will pray for you and the team.
Looking forward to hearing from you tonight. :)
Love ya,
Mary
Thank you, Mama Beth, for the way you are serving the Lord and speaking His words to us! As I was reading yesterday's post this morning, tears were running down my face reading your prayer for us-it feels so good to know we are being prayed for- and we are praying for you too! We are in the midst with a BATTLE with our 15year old daughter- and you put into words a prayer that applies directly to our situation today- I need the Lord to show me THIS is the way- now walk in it! I can't tell you how timely this blog has been to me countless times- I have a lot of the posts printed out and saved for re-reading! I love you Siesta Mama! Becky
Sweet, sweet, precious Jesus. Amen.
Dear Beth,
I read your prayer and cried all the way through it and thought how God knew exactly what I needed to hear, but obviously there were many of us that needed that exact prayer - how much better can God be?!!
Thank you so much for opening yourself up to Him and allowing God to work through you for your sisters in Christ.
Fall is my most favorite time of the year - I'm a little jealous of you since I would love to be in New England to see God's beautiful handiwork. But still blessed to be in North Carolina - it's beautiful here, too.
I love you so much.
Patty
NO, His Word WILL NOT return void and I'm sure God will use every last word you said to that group. I'm praying for you, Beth!
Mama Beth,
Thank you for checking in with us and letting us know how it went! Though you are a little downcast, I pray that God would bless you with refreshment and peace! The words you spoke touched many...I promise! There has never been a time that you have taught God's Word (at least that I have heard!) that it returned void- It was meant for at least one! And times that the material is a lot- Well, it makes us rise up and stretch our minds! Praise You Jesus:)
Praying for a continual outpouring of His spirit and presence on You this week! We love hearing from you!
Much love to you!!!!
With tears in my eyes..."thank you Lord for the prayer you put in Beth." It was so much "mine!"
Love you Mama Siesta. You are on my heart these days and nights. Be overflowing and you stay passionate as always!! We love it.
Praying for the entire gang! We want some pix too! :)
Thank you so much for your (timely)prayer. I read (and prayed) it this morning and believe God is working on the answer!! Please know you are being lifted up in prayer, and I pray God will bless you today in a very special way!!
Thanks again!!
Thank you so much for the prayer. It may have been for others too, but it was surely for me! Blessings to you Miss Beth.
Wow! I needed that prayer of reminder this morning! Thank you! Praying for you, God is going to do something awesome!
Christal
Thank you Beth. Your prayer covers all of us. Many blessings on the big trip.
Oh Bless You Beth! Bless you! A more accurate prayer couldn't have come for me...especially about door #1...God did some mighty fine work in you, Siesta. Mighty fine! You are prayed for, prayed over, prayed around, and prayed under...go do your God-Thang to the utmost.
Thanks for the prayer, Miss Beth. Even though you prayed it last night, I needed to see it this morning. Bless you!
Lora
Beth:
You put your hands together and you clap and clap!!! Because yes God did a good job last night and will continue to do so while you are away! What you precieve is not as good as what you wanted, will touch a lot of different ladies in ways only our Lord intended it to be. You are a blessing to any of those who listen as He uses you so that we may open our eyes to see Him and open our ears to Hear Him! A Jesus show indeed.
Also.. thank you so much for the prayers! I needed that more than you know... I love you mamma Beth.
Tender mercies and great Grace tonight as you speak His word.
Lichelle
Dear Precious Beth,
Just as you spoke to my heart in Washington D.C. in 2007 - "With unveiled faces show forth HIS glory" ---- that is what you do everytime you teach and tell women everywhere that GOD makes no mistakes. HE made all of HIS chosen daughters for HIS glory.
I was listening to John Piper and Frances Chan on the 2007 Passion podcast yesterday and Frances said something totally precious about you.
I can't remember his exact words but it was something like, "When Beth stands up here and says, I love y'all, you know she means it!"
Women know who is fake and who is real and GOD's glory shows through you and HIS love for HIS daughters to know we were made for HIM and by HIM for HIS glory!
Keep ringing the bell, Girlfriend...You are prayed for and loved!
Teri
I am praying for you and I said a special prayer early this morning in my prayer time. Thank you for praying for us. Without going into detail you cannot know how much your prayer meant to me right now, in this season of my life. It brougt tears to my eyes and encouraged me!! I love God and I love you!!
Patty
OK...crying at work. I'd be a blubbering mess if I didn't have to keep it together right now. That was my word and I've desperately needed it. Thank you Mama Beth. And thank you Father for speaking through her!
Praying for you, too!
Kimberly
Thank you, Beth, for the prayer. I think God asked you to pray it on my behalf! For financial reasons, we've been trying to sell our house for the past two years, to no avail. One friend recently sold their house in less than 2 weeks, and another in 6 days! I can't help but be frustrated that God may have a different plan for our house, and I feel like maybe I haven't been listening to Him, or hearing His specific plan for our financial situation. We're so confused, and are so frustrated that we just want to take the house off the market.
When I read the prayer, I inserted my name, and I know, that I know, that I know, without a shadow of a doubt that He loves me, has a plan for me, but sometimes it just gets so dang hard.
Thank you for being used, once again, by a Mighty God!!
Im praying for you! you are an amazing women!
Thanks for your prayer, needed that today, especially in lieu of teaching tonight & balancing life with the study of Hebrew for grad school :)
The Lord has made you adequate as a servant of Christ. Rest in Him this week. He is our ever present help in time of need.
In Christ,
Regina Gibson
Hi Beth,
I have been in the last two days thinking hard about whether or not I should move and get a roommate because I can't financially keep living the way I am..your MOVE in capital letters kind of stuck out to me..I will be in prayer about that..but it just struck me as "how spelled out can you get"..
Angela
Father, Bless this woman and help her to NOT hold back the words you have for her to speak to those of us coming to Conn. We want a downpour of you and a special covering for your servants Beth & her staff. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen
We love to learn and WANT that challenge from God. No Holes Barred! We are here, Beth. We are praying for you!
Andrea T. (in NY)
How blessed I feel Beth that you would take time out of your meetings TO PRAY FOR US. Please know our prayers are with you.
Thanks for being a servant of God.
Beth - You have no idea what a WORD you spoke to me...
I have been struggling with knowing what to do, and I was reading Max Lucado's "Facing you Giants" last night, and he writes about listening for and following God's voice... He gives the same message as you did here:
Whisper in each ear, "this is the way, walk ye in it."
I've heard this twice in <12hours....and it has given me such peace in my situation. Wow!
Hugs,
Adrienne
Oh...thank you for that prayer! You have no idea how those words directly affect my life today. I watched you on video last night and you made a comment about how no matter what state we are in, God causes fruit to grow from out lives if we are connected to Him. I see that just between your relationship with us...you don't know each one of us personally but God is continuing to use your words and growing fruit from them. As he did last night in your session. Even though you may have used a tad bit too much information for the folks...there WILL be fruit!
Love you girl!!!
Praying for you each day.
Dear Beth,
Never apologize for sharing too little or too much! You just never know that what you shared isn't just what someone needs.
I just finished watching Life Today -- Part 3 of the Offenses that Devastate series. Your story of being at the graveside of your parents was EXACTLY what I needed to hear this morning. I won't share why here because sometimes those things are best left my heart and His, but it was FOR ME today.
Go with boldness into that next speaking engagement in Vermont or New Hampshire and you speak His Words, sister!
If you were on facebook I would send you my favorite "flair" that says, "be brave...you were made for this! love, God"
Beth, Thanks so much for the awesome prayer. I just printed copies of it to give to our Wed. night "Tabernacle" Bible study group! They will love it!!! Thanking God for you! LuAnn
Beth, I've been reading your blog for some time now, and rarely do I post. But there is something I want to share with you now.
My sweet mother-in-law, Ladrene Edwards (58), went home to be with the Lord a few weeks ago. She had knee replacement surgery and then the next morning, while still in the hospital, a blood clot moved to her lungs. There was nothing they could do.
I'm telling you this because she was the director of the Ladies Ministry at her church. For years and years, she has facilitated Beth Moore Bible studies. She even purchased the DVD studies on her own, because the church could not. She was in the middle of "Stepping Up". I cannot begin to tell you how much she loved your studies and how she desired to learn more about her precious Lord. Now she knows more than you:)
We miss her terribly, but are so grateful that we will see her again. Thank you so much for the influence you had on her life, which, in turn, influenced mine.
Anticipating Heaven,
Amy Edwards

Dear Beth,
I was In Burlington last night and saw you and your amazing worship team. I get chills just thinking of all the beautiful voices around me singing In Christ Alone....I am so blessed.
Anyway, last night was special because while I have seen you live in the past and on simulcast and have done your bible studies; this would be the first time I would bring my daughter, who is 11. She wanted to go soooooo bad and I couldn't wait to take her. She couldn't wait to put a face to the lady who she has heard on DVD countless times in the car.
The whole experience was a blessing and we had an amazing time together.
Thank you for taking the time to come up here to New England and bring some encouragement and a time to enjoy being in fellowship with other sisters in Christ!!!
What a great God we worship and glorify!!!!
Blessings,
Michelle van de Ven
Beth,
Thank you so much for that prayer....I am in a place where I need so desperately to hear the voice of my Dad and choose only his direction. That prayer was just what I needed today. Bless you and your ministry.
love,
Siesta in Houston
Thank you!
Spiritual Mom Beth, don't be downcast:) I know that God can provide for you more material than you know what to do with:) Josh. 1:6-9(AMP), Phil. 4:13:) You don't know what it means to me for you to pray for me, us all. I am definitely praying for you:) He is our Counselor, when we don't know how in the world to cope and function. He is Trustworthy and Sovereign. Yes, faith expressing itself in love. Yes, I want to be a godly woman! Desperately! It's what I want! To be completely His-everything, every part, esp. my mind! I pray that you have an extremely amazing night tonight, Spiritual Mom Beth. I'll be working but I'll be thinking about you all:)

THANK YOU for taking a moment to pray for US when you didn't have to. You are a servant! It touched me and I will pass it along to my friends in hopes it will touch them too. Praise You God; Let YOUR GLORY REIGN!
Thank you, I feel like God directed that prayer specifically for me...it touches on the exact thing I'm going through right now. I nearly cried as I read it, thank you Beth, and thank you Lord.
Wow....thank you for your prayer. Seemingly just for me. Tears were literally shooting out of my eyes. I want to be a godly woman. I really do. Sometimes, though, I just don't know exactly what that looks like. That's where the clarity and wisdom come in.
I, in turn, will continue to pray for you. That you will be able to condense tonight's session without losing the message that God is asking you to convey. And also, I will not neglect to pray for your hair.
I am praying for you. I am sure while as you say you overwhelmed them with to much material, if they are anything like the women I went to SA with, they were ever so grateful to you for your teaching and all that they learned. Thanks for the prayer, it is much needed. Kim B. in AZ
Thank you for the wonderful prayer.
It spoke of just where I am, seeking God's direction.
I read it out loud and it encouraged my faith.
I will keep you and the ministry in prayer.
Praise God for His great love on all of us.
luv ya.....Cindy
THANK YOU!
Your posting is a response to me to a prayer I asked of God this morning, and I thank you for delivering His Word, His presence, to me. You have prayed over a very specific need in my home right now that is bringing me to my knees more than anything ever has!!
I am so thankful for LPM and for you Beth. May you be blessed this weekend as you speak forth His Word.
`Michelle
Um, Wow. That prayer is just what I needed. I'm all choked up, I'm scared, and I'm letting go. Thank you.
Beth, I could never ever I mean ever explain to you the power of the prayer you prayed in this blog. Every word was Holy Spirit filled and although I know it was not just for my loved one, it could not have been more fitting.
God gave you every word in that prayer. Thank you for yielding to Him daily.
I love you so much.
Thank you so much for that prayer. Satan was really starting a fight with me yesterday in worrying about our financial situation. He was also trying to keep me from starting a women's bible study (Breaking Free) at the church we are currently attending. BUT, I am glad to say he did NOT win. I have always truly believed the Lord wants to do something big with my life...still not sure what it is but when the Lord speaks through you, (i think I have been to 4 or 5 of your conferences) I feel the Lord spark that flame in me. I pray that I will be steadfast to follow him through. Thanks again!
Ah this prayer means so much to me! I've been in such a season of resistance and now I'm getting banged up cause I've been kicking and screaming the whole time. My man and children I'm sure have seen this U.G.L.Y. too - how I am thankful to have the words "Door #1 even though it's not our favorite." Yup, that me. I love you!
That prayer was for me.
Thank you.
I am always so awestruck when we get a little peak at Heaven here on earth... How things are supposed to be. Praising our HUGE God for His love and mercy and for your heart Beth, and obedience. Thank you for praying, for not being so overwhelmed with your mission that you forget about us and ours (I think I would)...
Father in Heaven, thank for the family we have here on earth, and for giving us Your Word. Pour an extra measure out for Beth, we love her so don't we? In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen
Looking forward to tonight, Beth. We've got a group coming in from Gordon-Conwell and we're excited to hear what you & the Lord are bringing to us!
Sweet Siesta Mama,
How I wish you could be on the receiving end of the word/Word you bring to us through each Living Proof event, Bible study, video/TV session. You are an anointed vessel poured out for the Lord's glory. Oh, we know you are not perfect, but I have YET to hear from you and not walk away hugely impacted by the Holy Spirit's whispers - sometimes shouts! - through you, the Lord's servant.
I sometimes hear you say you wish something had come out of your mouth differently, but speaking for myself and I'm sure many others...YHWH breathes life on us through the words He gives you to bring to us.
Be encouraged and know you are loved and so appreciated!
Happy Birthday Amanda! My 7 year old Jackson's b-day was Oct. 12th and he lost both of his top front teeth over the weekend! A true snaggletooth now! October birthdays are fantastic!
Love,
Amy
Thank you so much for keeping us updated!
I'm praying for you and pray that God shows you exactly what tonight'slesson is to look like. :)
blessings and hugs,
stephanie
I just had to tell you that I will be one of the thousands at the event in Delaware on Thursday night. I'm bring 25 of my closest friends! We're praying for you this whole week.
We love you!
Beth,
It has been a pleasure to pray for you and the team. You have entered my thoughts often. I am praising the Lord for this week and the completion of 50 States!
He is so good. God bless you as you feast your eyes upon His incredible Majestic display of "His Created Eye Candy"
And Beth that prayer for all is a word that is so timely. I can't in english express how you touched my soul.
Be well and May He continue to lavish His presence upon all of you and bring you safely home to your loved ones.
In His Powerful Love,
Celeste
That prayer is totally awesome and MY personal word from GOD! It is RIGHT WHERE I AM AT! Totally! Ditto!
Oh Beth, I so needed your prayer today. Thank you. Tears tears tears. ...I KNOW the ladies last night were more than blessed by you and the WORD, even if you felt you packed in too much. I, for one, can't wait till that "too much" is available to the rest of us! : ) I'll be praying for you as you rework and as the angels rejoice at the mighty work God has done and will do through you this evening and over the next several nights. You are loved. (Happy Birthday, Amanda!!!)

Just wanted you to know that Im praying for you Beth! May the Lord give you the words these women need to hear. Thank you for the empact you have had on my life. May God bless you abundantly!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA!
What a beautiful picture!
How did you know I needed that powerful prayer? Don't stop praying, Beth! Your prayers will go on and on and on ... thank you, Jesus! May God continue to pour His perfect love into your heart, and may your word of testimony continue to bear the beautiful and eternal fruit of the Spirit.
Keep your eyes on Jesus! And read 2 Timothy 4:17-18. It's yours! "To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen!"
Your prayer articulated everything I've wanted/needed to tell Him but didn't know how. Thank you. Praying for you!
Love you!

Thank you so much for the prayer! These last few weeks i have been on the verge of tears. My husband and I have been overwhelmed with some Decisions that we need to make, so I have done what I do best, i have ignored them hoping they would just go away! But it isn't working! imagine that! I know that i need to take small steps and trust that God will direct our path. thank you for being faithful to God! Maybe God would have you do some Pacific Northwest Nights :)
What a sweet prayer! Thank you mama Beth, I sure needed that today!
Happy Birthday to Amanda!
P.S- I have that same shirt that you're wearing in Amanda's birthday video...did you get that at Kohls:)
Praying for you and the team!
Blessing's!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for the prayer. As I read it this morning in my classroom while waiting for my 3rd graders to arrive, the Lord brought tears to my eyes. I needed that prayer this morning. My husband and I are trying to make the decision to end the journey of infertility we've been on for the last 3 years and begin the process of adopting. We really don't know what to do and we are asking the Lord to make His will clear to us. You are such a blessing!

Praying for you in Apex, NC. And confessing that I needed that prayer horribly!
Bless you and the women (and maybe some Miestas) that hear God through you.
Peace,

The Holy Spirit is a consuming fire in you, yes He is! Fires BLAZE and I know He is blazing in you! All those women are experiencing Christ in a way they never have before after your night of teaching. May God bless you and your team as you set women on fire for Jesus.
Father in heaven, so many are without hope in our nation and in our world. In Jeremiah, Judah and Jerusalem said "There is no hope." And then they continued to sin against you. Oh, Father, we do have hope! You are our HOPE! Bless Beth and her team as they spread Your message of hope. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Thank you for the prayer! We are praying for you! Hope tonight went well! Know it did!
Love you! Emmy : )
Oh, Beth, what an answer to prayer, that your prayer was. I am going to the CT night and was going to cancel. The last time you were in NY, back in '05 I was so blessed. I faced a season after that conference that was as dark as they come. We lost a lot then, but I held on to the WORD and rested in the scriptures you spoke over us. It was the last moment of peace I had for a long time.
Fast forward to '08 and there have been a lot of similar things going on to that season a couple of years back. I began to rest in fear. Afraid of what He would ask of me...So I asked Him for a fleece, I specifically asked that He tell me: "This is the way, walk in it." I popped over here to just to take a look, pretty sure I was not going to CT. Then I read that prayer. I will see you in CT dear Siesta!
Thank you,
Mair
Beth!
Oh it amazes me how God uses you! Your prayer was so right on you will NEVER know!!! Maybe someday you will! Wink wink!
Thank you!
I love you!
Donna (the mom of twin boys)
Ms. Beth, Thank you for your sweet prayer. I pray that one day scripture will come to me with such clarity that I can offer His word back to Him like that. I know you prefer to keep the comments short so everybody has an opportunity to respond, so I'm hoping to share a short testimony! The "No Other Gods" study from the summer is still affecting lives. I went through the study with ya'll this summer, and now I am facilitating the study at my church in Fort Worth with 17 women. Our age range is 19 to 60+, and I am thrilled with what the Lord will do in their lives. I am so unworthy, but I have recently been reminded of my true identity in Christ. He is more than able! Thank you again for your obedience, your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and your outflow of love. All glory to God!
On a super sidenote...you remind me so much of my sweet mother in your writing. I am about 650 miles from her and haven't seen her in almost one full year, so it's fun to get a reminder of her everytime I read the blog!
In prayer, MM
Thanks, Beth!!
Janine
Thank you for the prayer. I think all the siestas needed that this week. Praying without ceasing for you as well.
Too much lesson, is there such a thing?
I just figure it this way, the LORD had a LOT to say.
YOU are great Beth!
I am going to my Women's Bible Study tonight (I am bringing fruit salad). We are doing Patriarch's here at Capo Beach Calvary and I love it. The Hagar lesson was really deep and then to back it up with Sarah. I have been both.
With love and blessings,
Molly
Apparently a lot of ladies thought that prayer was for them, but really it was for me. Don't let them fool you. Ha! Isn't it awesome how you just had a thought to pray for us, and how one prayer can be used by so many siestas (and miestas!) in so many different ways?!? That is our God!
O:)
Melissa
oh wow...THANK YOU!
My first thought was "How sweet that Beth takes time out to pray for us." And my second was "This one I will print so I can have it with me. If you knew, how many times just *today* today I felt like you spoke directly to me (Through the tv teaching on Life today, and then a DVD session, and now your prayer...)
THANK YOU!
Love & prayers as you continue your tour. I think it's so awesome, and I so wish I could be at one of those meetings!
~Andreea
This prayer of yours is what I needed to hear tonight. I have a situation that yesterday and today I have cried out to God, I dont know what to do - tell me what to do. I have no idea what to do Lord, what is the answer? Your prayer reminded me that He is not taken by surprise and He knows the answer. I have a friend that has so let sin mess up her life and now it effects her children and the Lord has placed them in front of me and He wants me to minister to them. Pray for me as I listen and do what ever it is He would have me do. I still have no clue. BUT, He does. Thanks for that prayer. Love you, Vicki
thank you for your prayers -that was really touching to my heart and where i am right now walking.
I"m praying for you as well! your heart and passion is amazing and contagious! Jesus sure shines through you! I am loving reading your blogging/travel adventures. Thanks for being so real
blessings to you all serving so faithful!
God is amazing. How would you know the very words to affirm the call and direction I walked in this week? I love HIM so! The very day you were praying this, I was surrendering fully to the ministry of counseling. I've had my MMFT degree for almost 2 yrs....came home afterwards to raise my newborn. Have been questioning all along when would be the time. Well....this was the week. God called, prepared in advance, and just set me STRAIGHT on the path. I saw my first client, and it was amazing the connection God allowed in that room. I KNEW He was with me!
Blessings my sister. You've called my bluff more than once! I'm currently leading Believing God for the 2nd time....1st time sent me back to grad school. 2nd time ushered in my calling into the profession. Finished week 7 just today!
Blessings Beth. Keep praying. We're out here in the trenches!

Oh, thank you so much for that prayer. I am very confused about a direction that someone is encouraging me to go and I thought I knew God didn't want me to go that direction and now I'm not sure. Maybe that was just then that He didn't want me to, but now He does, but I had gotten the impression that never did He want me to go that direction and I'm dealing with a person that I don't want to deal with. She seems to have taken a liking to me and I don't like her, so please continue to pray for me. Did you get all that? Me neither. I'm just as confused as you are.
Dear Beth,
I prayed for you when you first put this post up. It sounds like God really helped you on the remainder of your tour.
Thank you for that wonderful prayer you prayed for all of us. May God continue to speak to you and through you.
From Sunny California!
