LPM's New Home

Ladies, this is what I was talking about back in November when I asked you to pray for something cool going on at LPM. We are so excited to finally share this with you! Interestingly, when I wrote that original post, Twinkle left a comment saying "Ok, I'm just guessing but I think this teaser might have something to do with couples or men." At that time we did not know what God had up His sleeve for Curtis. Twinkle, you were really in the Spirit that day! God began opening up that door just a few days later. I have thought about it many times since. But that's not the point of this post. I just wanted you girls to see what you were praying for and rejoice with us in God's sweet provision! Thank You, Lord! We are filled with joy!

Home Sweet Home!! I, too, thought that Curtis was the surprise you were referring to back in November. There are so many wonderful things going on at LPM! I love the new office. It fits perfectly with my image of Beth doing her quiet time on the her back porch surrounded by her beloved birds. Now, you can have your staff prayer times with the birds as well. Praise God for from whom all blessings flow!

(The only downside I see to the new office is that no one will be able to walk by and see y'all praise dancing any more -- I guess you'll have to take it to the streets like David every now and then!)

Lord we ask that you would fill this building with your presence-that you would lead and guide LPM on to the bigger and better things you have waiting for them. Mostly, Lord, we join in agreement of praise and thanksgiving for your provision for the building. May your name be praised in it, through it and because of it!

How beautiful! What a beautiful world God created if we would open our eyes and see. Your ministry is always in my prayers as the Bible studies are such a blessing. They keep me so involved in the Word (His precious instructions to us) and have taught me so much. They have taught me how to really study. Your ministry and staff have been so blessed by God in ministering to women, and now possibily men and couples. What a beautiful, inspiring place to go to work at each day and spread the Gospel.

And I knew it would involve men in some way. I love the fact that Jesus leads us. He draws us to "Come, follow me." He's already there in our future. What a blessing for Living Proof. He does all things well...this just gives me a thrill!

Beth,

Seriously, the flowers, the trees, the fountain, you can spend time outside with the Father even at work!

I was reading through the comments on another post and I started to notice how many of the Siestas, including myself, "sound" like you in the things we "say"!

You not only poured your love of Jesus into us, alot of us have started to "bethspeak" as a second language! I love it!!

My husband laughs when I say, "Just do the thang, for cryin' out loud. Do something for GOD that amounts to more than a hill'a beans!"

Love and prayers!

Dear Beth,
Congratulations on the beautiful new office. I'm so excited for LPM and to see what God has in store for the future.
I was so very blessed to be a part of a Loving Well Retreat this past weekend. It was with a dear sweet group of ladies who I have known for about five years. They have so graciously adopted me into their group and invite me to go with them on their retreats. To quote one of my dear friends from Clark St. Baptist "I did a holy dance when I found out we were doing Loving Well." I knew there were definitely people in my life that I needed to "Love Well" but I had no idea what wonderful blessings he had in store...it wasn't easy...I definitely had to deal with some stuff but so rewarding. THANK YOU BETH!...for your obedience and willingness to serve. Some friends of mine were actually there at LPL in Knoxville, but I was unable to go (I had just had our second son, Harrison). I know God's timing is perfect and I received such revelations. I know God loves me in a way I have never known before...because I have never let him til now.Oh, I just praise him for not giving up on me! and may I say, I love knowing how taken God is with me! I think I speak for all the ladies when I say we have been forever changed in the way we love others!Thank you Beth and LPM for being such a joy! I Love You!

Oh, guys...I'm so excited for you. Beth, I've been meaning to write you a letter to thank you for all you've done for me, but I, too, am more of a "letter-thinker" than a letter-writer. Anyway, God used you in huge ways to mature me in my faith. Starting in 2000 or so with your Sunday School classes and then your Tuesday/Thursday night events, God spoke to me so clearly throughout the following years through you. I've since moved on to Rockwall, TX and miss you dearly. I've only actually spoken to you once, but I feel as though I could knock on your door any day and grab lunch with you. You are dear to me. . .thank you for your selfless service to the women of the world. I love you. Praise God for your new building!! I'm wondering if that orthodontist next door is going to miss you!

Prayer request~ We just found out our black lab has cancer. I so want to proclaim that the cancer will be gone and pray and believe that it is but somehow my spirit knows that this is the way things are meant to be. Is that normal? I am proclaiming it for friends babies right now too so it could be a comparison. It's my husband's special dog that he had before we got married so if you want to lift us, especially him up in prayer that would be a blessing to us during our move to the northeast.

Blessings to all at LPM & may the surroundings simply shower refreshment upon you as you work!

What a perfect home for such a warm and loving ministry! I love the landscaping--the porches--the fountain and the "gardens"! A perfect place for your "little red bird" that battled with your rear view mirror! You need to make sure she gets a change of address card!!

We moved 22 times in 36 years and after a week or so, I was able to see the beauty in all the "newness" of the new home and area! There are many new blessings awaiting you all in your new home! Enjoy and thank you for continuing to share the gift of God's Word with us in your very special way. You are such a blessing to all of us!

Keep us posted on your progress-if I were in Texas I would help you move! BTW, how's Sunny? I bet she's glad to be home!!!

Your new LPM home is just beautiful. Congratuations and wishes for many happy moments. Congratualtions to Curtis, too, on joining LPM. Beth, just before you announced that Curtis was coming on board, my husband had made the comment while trying to come up with another bible study for the men's ministry......"if only there were a man Beth Moore".....mmmmmm, could it be?

Much love to all of you at LPM and may God's peace and presence fill every nook and cranny of your beautfiul new LPM home.

You won't believe this, but I had a dream last night that everyone was packing up the final boxes and Beth came out of the old building saying, "I've got the last of the Old Testament reference materials, and that's everything. Let me just lock up." Then, she turned around to lock the door and walked to her car carrying large stone tablets!

I sure am hoping that beautiful new place has proper storage for the ancient relics! :o)

God Bless all who enter and all who in this dwelling serve the Lord!

The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Hi ladies!
I normally don't do this, but I thought I'd address some questions I've been seeing. Be sure to send any questions you need answered to us through our contact page on our web site. There's a link to it on the blog's left sidebar.

A) You better believe all our LPM girls had a prayer gathering in the office right after we closed on it! Every room has had Scripture prayed over it. I didn't get to be there because we hadn't moved yet, but I heard it was a powerful and sweet time.

B) The building used to be a residence, but some wonderful ladies purchased it several years ago and converted it into office space. As a result, it is very girly on the inside (except for Curtis' office) and PERFECT for us!

C) Beth is absolutely not retiring and there are no thoughts of her leaving the ministry.

D) My new house is so cute and I'd love to show it off, but for safety reasons I will never get to post a picture online. Bummer! None of you should ever do that either, especially if you have kids.

E) Melissa and Colin are doing great. They love being married. Melissa never has been very active on the blog, so I'm not sure why it seems like we are suddenly keeping her hidden. I say that in love and gentleness. She is just a more private person when it comes to online communication. I do not know if she will want us to post more wedding pictures, but the minute she decides to, I will get them on here for you.

I love y'all!
Amanda

Thanks for answering some of those questions Amanda! I was also worried about the retirement thing...I just though Beth might be giving up Bible Studies and spend more time on other ways to minister to women. Glad to know she's not retiring!

Also, I think why some have thought Melissa has been kept in hiding is that for the longest time, that's all we heard about. Melissa, Melissa, Melissa. Now, after the wedding, there's not been much mention of her, or at least no posts dedicated to what's going on in her life. Know what I mean?

Lots of love to you! Thanks for all you do!

Amanda, thanks for answering the questions! All kinds of good news!

Gotta admit, I am much relieved to hear that our Senior Siesta is planning to be around a good long while...

This is totally random!! Thought I'd post again and this has aboslutely nothing to do anything really! I found the best razors recently. If anyone is looking for a good disposable razor to shave their legs with try the bic soleil, triple blade= soft smooth legs!! Talk about random!!

The new place is beautiful. I got excited a few months ago on my way to work when I saw that someone had bought an unused car dealership and the sign they were painting said LPM. I was equally dissappointed on the way home when the sign was finished, LPM Forklift. I thought for a little while you might be opening up a branch office only a mile from my house. As I pass by the huge LPM sign each day I make that my time to pray for you. I think the prayers might be blessing that business also as I noticed today the number of forklifts on the lot has tripled.

As great as it would have been to have an office this close to me the forklift place cannot hold a candle to your wonderful new home.

Congratulations,
Lisa
