Every recap gives those of us who live far away a taste of heaven. Thank you so much for posting them, Amanda. Looking at those womens' faces and listening to Travis' team sing is really neat. I look forward to every one.
Shout-out to all my blogging siesta sistas I met this weekend in Boone! Amanda, I suspect you never could have imagined the fruit of your obedience in the creation of this blog. But it has been 'much!' When we happened upon one another this weekend, we all just hugged and laughed like we'd been the best of friends for years! I suppose we are in the spirit realm!
How I love you LORD for doing a life-altering work in us this weekend. I love that your Word does not return void. And I love that you have created us with emotion, and have thus given us biblical permission and rights as a child of God to take a hold of our asher moments in Jesus Name! You are our delight LORD! You have made me 'asher' :)
What a WONDERFUL blessing I know the conference was....Glory be to God in the Highest!! Thank you Living Proof for being willing to be used by God. I have so loved the conferences that I have been privileged to attend. Much love, Stacy
God is Awesome! I was able to take my daughter with me this year and let me tell you no words can describe seeing my child worship and praise God right beside me!!! I am so blessed. Thank you Beth and team for another WONDERFUL conference! Glory to God for such a great message!
Thank you so much for the recap. Although I was there it is a joy to watch the recap, It made me want to cry, I saw the sweet ladies in the video that came down for salvation. A very sweet moment, Beth walking down and hugging Travis' father and turning around asking Travis if he had seen his father yet! God blessed the conference beyond my asking and imagining! A treat for me, I saw two young ladies(or I should say sistas) from blog and they were sitting right in front of us. It was an honor meeting Abby and Shelly. They told me they decided to meet each other at the conference and wondered if any other blog sistas were there. I loved it!! Beth, I wanted to share with you that since your message, I have really been thinking and pondering on it, I can be deliriously happy no matter the circumstances around me. Making the pursuit of Christ the main thing and not the pursuit of happiness the thing is the only way to go. What a relief, I have been thru some hard times for a long time and what you taught was liberating! I wish I could give you a big hug, the picture that was posted with you praying over us on Friday night, the light shining right on you, when I looked at it, I thought of all the hard things you are facing and the losses you are grieving and yet there you are on your knees ministering to others. You truly lived out "asher" before us, thank you! I know this is long(sorry) but I am continuing to pray for you and your family. Have a blessed week!!
Praise the Lord for Boone =) I have a praise report! When tickets first went on sale I could not afford one and a hotel room. Most of my friends we're going and I was devistated that I couldn't. I have been praying ever since and when the week of Boone came I continued to pray. I knew God could work a miracle! Thursday night I went to a friends house and I was listening to her talk about how excited she was about going. I was laying on her couch praying that if it was God's will, something happen so I could go. As I was praying my friends phone rang and it was a lady from her church. She had three extra tickets from people who had to back out and three open spots left in an already paid hotel. How awesome is our God??? Because of Him and Him alone I was able to attend Boone. It was exactly what I needed and Beth, your message could not have come at a more perfect time. I am so blessed by you and your ministry. Thank you for all that you do. I love you dearly.
Thank you Beth and Team for a wonderful event in Boone! I am now working at spreading God's word He spoke through you to my friends. I cannot wait to see your 2008 schedule. East Tennessee loves you!
Thank you all for coming to Boone. God has changed me so much through your teaching and worship. There is so much that God has deposited in my heart, it will take me a year of blogging just to process it all. May God bless your entire team!
Oh, Miss Beth how it must have blessed your heart to see those ladies holding up that "We got outta that pit" sign.
How amazing our Lord is. Think about it: there had to be a number of women holding up that banner, each one having been released from some kind of spiritual stronghold and walking closer to their Lord. Praise God!
That is awesome! Again - I still so upset I missed that you were coming so near to where I live! Hopefully you will come again and I can attend next time! Thank you to ALL of you and your staff for all the hard work you do for the LORD!!!(and I mean for YHWH - I am doing the Patriach study right now - IT'S GREAT!)
These recaps really get me going. How I'm praying that God will open doors for me to attend an event one day!! I just love the close ups of these beautiful women. Their faces reflecting what God is doing in their hearts. (The best thing is that they have no idea there is a camera on them!) It's just so powerful. Thanks so much.
I wasn't at the Boone event, but I loved watching the recap video; I'm so glad you are creating and posting these videos...
I absolutely LOVED the banner that said "WE GOT OUTTA THAT PIT" !!! How fantastic it was to see that! Amen Amen! Now am I imagining this, or was that an anatomical drawing of a heart on the screen??? Beth - are you teaching anatomy now? You amaze me sista!
Beth, I prayed specifically and earnestly that you would be led to speak on something that I needed, that prayer was answered above anything I could have asked or thought! To be in that place with thousands of ladies and you pouring out your heart to us, open, honest - words can't describe. I am praying an Asher blessing on myself, my family and upon you and yours. God bless you, please get your 2008 scheduled confirmed, I'm ready to travel! (By the way, did the show of men at the Boone conference let you know how well you are respected and LOVED, not only by us ladies but by men as well!)
I just love this song! I've been playing Hillsong's "Blessed" album for the last 4 days! How funny that it was used in this awesome tribute. May God use each of these women at the conference in a mighty way!
We love you to up in Minnesota! I was at the Downpour event back in November! It was amazing! I've traveled to Iowa to see Living Proof in person a few years back! I agree with su, it is a piece of heaven to see those moments captured for those of us from afar! I love you southern women! The love you all have for Jesus is so evident! No messing around with you gals!
Being the mother of 2 younger boys I opt to only attend one conference a year with my sisters in Christ... I'm so glad I choose this one !!! I knew I'd love it and being so close to home too as I live in Mitchell county, NC. Thanks Beth for allowing Travis to show "where God get's His mail" a wonderful sister in Christ who tells it like it is !!!
I love the video! thank you! Here are some verses that are well known to me that God is using to speak to me this week. This and Romans 12. Love all my sisters and brothers.
Isaiah 26:3-4 3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.
Haha, YES Shelly...my favortie part was when you told me patty from the blog was here and we said "THE Patty?! THE blog Patty?!" Oh what a blessing you siestas are! (Especially for us youngins to get to meet the faces of those behind the daily encouragment! What an honor!)
So glad they chose that song to play in the background of the video...you will never know how my life was changed in those 4 minutes!! :) ..will NEVER forget this weekend...
I'm absolutely amazed that God gives Beth a new message for each event according to the needs. It blesses me so much to know that Beth's desire is to hear from God and serve Him.
I've gathered that at least part of the Scripture basis might have been from Deut. 33:24 What does an "Asher" moment mean? I've read that in several posts. Also, what was the significance of him bathing his feet in oil?
I, too, love the recaps. They carry me immediately into worship. God is SO AWESOME and worthy of all our praise.
Desiring to love Him more each day, Vicky from Iowa
I live in boone, NC and have traveled for the past three years to see Beth. What a blessing to have Living Proof Live here.
I could really use an Asher moment just today as my family faces uncertainty with the health of a precious 3 month old baby girl.
God used this conference in a mighty way and may his name be glorified forever. He is our sheild, our strength, our portion, deliverer, shelter, strong tower and our VERY present help in time of need.
I was in Boone and it was wonderfully life changing. I was changed with a wonderful new outlook on life. I pray that Heaven is just like that! I want to worship just like that for eternity. Beth, thank you. Travis and prasie team, thank you. You are all genuine. You bring us heaven on earth and prepare us to live in eternity. I love you all!
Thank you Beth and the worship team for an experience that far exceeded all my expectations!Praise God for ministering to us through you,Beth!(You are an angel). We would love to have you in our hometown of Lancaster,Pa. in the near future!May God continue to richly bless us all. Much Love,Brenda
I'm a new blogger Sista and I had the privlege of attending Boone with 22 Sistas from Reeds Baptist Church in Lexington, NC, and my cup is running over. I first saw Beth in Greensboro, NC and I'll never read Ruth the same way again. My life was changed that night and I give God the glory for placing me there. Thank you Beth,Travis and the Team.
I know I'm really late on posting a blog on this one, but I figure, better late than never. The weekend in Boone was a blessing sent by God... literally. I wanted to go to the event, but due to financial reasons was unable to get tickets. So I had surrendered the the fact, that I just wasn't supposed to go. Then I won tickets through our local radio station. So... praise the Lord I was able to attend. And the lesson on Asher... man is God driving that home with me. Thank you Beth and Travis and the rest of the team for being open to what God wanted and following His lead.
