Congrats!

Our beloved Travis Cottrell won a Dove Award last night for his musical Everything Glorious. Congratulations, Travis! We're all so proud of you! We're also very proud that a country boy from North Carolina rose to the challenge of presenting a Spanish language award. You are indeed multi-talented!

The Journey Continues~
What a wonderful honor for Travis.
He and I sing duets all the time !
IN MY CAR !!! :)
I was really singing last week with Travis and a person in the car beside me was laughing hysterically as they were passing by me. I guess I had my right hand upward praising the LORD and singing with mouth wide open!!
I hope I was making a joyful noise!
congratulations Travis!

sing a song sing a song Travis won't you sing a song
we won't shut up 'til you stand up and sing a song

Have no idea if that's what they say in that silly little camp song, but it didn't make me wanna sing when they came around me (maybe 'cause I didn't like camp (there as a grown-up with adolescents all around)). Love that run-on non-sentence!

Yeahhh Travis! That's AWE-some! Best wishes for many more. Sing your music all the time - need more too...

I was in Detroit at Living Proof with him in February, and it was soooooo evident how much of himself he puts into his work (Annie's Song blew my socks off!). He loves the Lord and thus is well-deserving! Congrats Travis!

Travis,
I am so happy for you! God has not only blessed you with an excellent voice, but a very sincere heart. Beth's conferences wouldn't be the same without you and the praise team. To God be the glory for the things He has done in your life.

Thanks so much for your kind words! I can't even believe it happened. I am so thankful to worship Jesus with all of you.

I can hardly make a complete sentence today, but I was practically in tears reading your encouragements, and had to say thanks. I am so thankful for my Living Proof family!

Many blessings -

Congradulations! I was at the Deeper Still event in San Francisco and the worship literally brought me into the throne room of The KING! I am not surprised that the Lord has chosen this honor for him.

Would you please tell your Mom that she was heavy on my heart to night. Tell her that she is loved and that I wish I could hold her heart in my hands for awhile. I can't but I know SOMEONE who already is.
I pray tonight that you breath easy and that your sleep is filled with the peace of God.
Your Daddy God in Heaven loves you Beth.
Keeping you and the family in my prayers.

Way to go, Travis! It's about time that those Dove award judges see what a gift Travis has.

As a matter of fact, a few days before I accepted Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I was "singing a duet" with Travis' "Beloved Disciple" cd when the song "God of Wonders" came on. Well, this would have been great, except for the fact that I was in one of those major Houston traffic jams at the time. Well, I ended up paying more attention to singing than I was to driving, and I bumped the car in front of me pretty badly. And messed up my lights, so I couldn't see anything at night time with or without my lights "on", so I ended up having to get those fixed asap.

However, looking back, I think that it may have been the first time that I realized that "God is who HE says He is" !!! Worthy of all praise!!! The God of Love, etc., etc... And I think I may have taken my hands off of the steering wheel, and praised Him, which isn't the greatest idea during a big traffic jam... hehe Thankfully, I had full insurance coverage at the time.

Oh Travis, You are such a love. Congratulations on the Dove Award, a great honor and well deserved. I play your CD's in the car and sing along pretending I'm in the stadium praising God with hundreds of voices making a joyful noise to our God. Keep up the great music and I hope to see you again soon at a live event

Congratulations Travis. We sing your music all of the time. The other Sunday our choir sang Sanctuary and me and another lady were in the balcony singing like we were at the Living Proof event. Everyone else in church wasn't as vocal as we were. The choir members commented afterwards that we made their day. I told them that you haven't lived until you hear Travis and the praise team sing that song. We always enjoy your music.

Praise the Lord, Travis! All of us in Boone are rejoicing with you at what HE has done! Thank you for being a LEAD-WORSHIPPER, not just a worship-leader. Thank you for inviting us to come along with you into His presence to bow before Him and adore Him. His power is so evident in your music. Stay close and clean. We are all standing back just to watch what He does next! Can't wait to see you guys in Boone in May!

Off the subject but does anyone know of a good OTC (over the counter) hairspray that keeps your hair from frizzing up. When I say over the counter I mean one that you can buy at the store not the salon?!?!?

Congratulations, Travis! There are no words to express all that your music means to me. It begins my worship and carries me to Jesus' arms when my spirit is beaten and battered. You are one of the greatest blessings in my life right now. If it were not for what I have learned through Beth's bible studies and your music I don't know where I would be right now. Both you and Beth have been mightly used of the Lord in my life and I know it is because you have given all of yourself to Him.

Woooo hoooo Travis!
Congratulations, and we're all so proud of you! I fell in love with your music many months ago, and you always lead me into the throne room with your worship and praise. I especially love how you blend some of the old hymns and newer songs together seamlessly. What a gift the Lord has given you, and I'm so thankful you're using it to magnify Him and bless so many around you.

I can't imagine attending a LPM event and not hearing your music. I've been at 2 events, and had goose bumps from the awesomeness (is that a word?) of the praise & worship. This honor and recognition is so well deserved.

Love to you & your famiy,
Linda

P.S. If we're all bogging sistas, does this make you my brotha??

I gave my friend a couple of CD's of Beth's teaching to borrow on her 12 hour trip to PA a couple of weeks ago - on her way out she was listening/driving and really loving everything Beth was teaching when she was pulled over by a State Trooper in Ohio. $110 ticket!!! She thought the speed limit was 65 and it was only 55 on that part of the highway.

Fast forward ONE WEEK - she is home and has just dropped her daughter off at volleyball practice at 7:15 on a Saturday morning. She is on her way home, praising God and listening to Travis' CD and boom - she gets pulled over AGAIN. 1 WEEK LATER!! She was going 51 in a 35! She thought for sure he would know she had just gotten a ticket a week ago and give her another one, thankfully, he didn't. He said "I just saved you about $200".

She's just wondering if she can praise God, listen to Beth and drive at the same time without being pulled over!! :)

Travis,I'm so thrilled for you winning the Dove award! You have blessed me so...from LPL Live events where you prepare my heart to worship...and on to my quiet times with your songs of praise and worship ushering me into a quiet place of holy adoration for My Christ. And I have been so blessed to hear your own personal testimony...that needs to be in a book! You are a special man of God. How blessed all of us LPL women of faith are to have had you as our minister of worship for all these years. You could have had the fame and riches of a secular calling...but I'm glad you chose to speak to me through Christ and His calling on your life. I can just imagine how blessed heaven will be when we all join in unison praising Jesus.

God bless you!
