Simulcast 2009!
This weekend is the Living Proof Live Simulcast from Green Bay, Wisconsin. What in the world is a simulcast, you ask? Here's how it works. Beth, Travis and the praise team will be at the live conference location in Green Bay while hundreds of host churches across the country will be linked to it through satellite technology. The schedule will be the same as a regular LPL event with one session on Friday night and two sessions on Saturday morning.
My family's home church happens to be a host site. So on Friday night I will go there along with my co-workers and we will take part in the event. We will get to experience worship and Bible study as though we are right there in Green Bay, only our trip home will be much shorter and we'll get to sleep in our own beds!
I've been to one other simulcast event and while I was a little skeptical about it at first, I was pleasantly surprised that I lost the sense that my mom wasn't actually on the stage right in front of me. I felt completely engaged in everything that was going on and it was like we were in the same room with the host group.
If this isn't the year for you to get to travel to a Living Proof Live event and stay in a hotel with a bunch of your girlfriends, this is a great option to look into. Or even if you have been to a conference this year, who couldn't use another weekend in the Word? You can visit this page on LifeWay's web site for more information and to search for a satellite location near you.
I'd love to invite anyone in the Houston area to be a part of the simulcast at my church, Houston's First Baptist. You can click here to see the schedule, get directions, etc. Tickets are $10 and you can either buy them online or at the door. The event will take place in the sanctuary.
And finally, bless my mom's heart, here is a little video she made for the event. I hope she doesn't have to wear the cheese hat this weekend because it will seriously flatten out her bangs. I heard that a certain miesta was supposed to be cheesin' it up with her on the video, but rumor has it he accidentally overslept and missed the filming.
An Important Message from Beth Moore from LWEvents on Vimeo.
P.S. Mom just said I could tell you that she's teaching out of Psalm 37 and the theme will be "The Heart of Our Desires."

Bless her heart, and her head, her little cheese head. I do not even want to see her flat hair after that take. Hopefully is was in one take and she didn't spend all morning like that! We are hosting a simulcast at our church, Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, WA. Me and my three girls will be there. I will pray for Beth, as nothing seems to embarrass her, and for her message out of Psalm 37. Love you!
Lisa in Kirkland, WA
So excited! I've done some Bible studies but this is my first Beth Moore "event". Seven of us ladies from First Baptist Church in Carterville, Missouri are attending at St Paul's United Methodist Church in Joplin, MO.
I cannot wait! I have never been to a Living Proof Live - but this is my 2nd simulcast.
Looking forward to a great time in the word!
Blessings ~ Lisa
I'll be there! The Lord has been leading me
to Psalm 37! Can't wait!
Wisconsin is AWESOME!
Love,
Cheesehead Michele
I am so excited to be attending this event at our church. We became a simulcast church last year, and Beth's conference was the first one we did.
The transmission was amazing...no glitches the entire time.
You really do feel like you are there...only a little less traffic to get in and out. ;)
So...if you want to Beth, give a shout out to Mount Olive Brethren Church in Pineville, VA. We love you!!
I'll be participating from Tyrone, GA! I absolutely cannot wait!
Your mom is so cheesy!
I love that verse in Psalms and have had it prayed over me many times.
Can't wait to see the little cheese this weekend!
I'm so excited! I am going to the Simulcast and I organized a group of ladies to go with me, 22 of us! I was so happy when I saw that there was a local church hosting this event. It's absolutly a great idea if you can't travel far or you just can't get enough of Beth's teachings.
As always we will pray for your mom this weekend. She's such a blessing. The WHOLE LPM staff is!
Thank you!!!
Andrea
Attending the Simulcast at
Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Colonial Heights VA. Anybody else wanna come? :)
Have you ever considered having a web simulcast? I'm overseas and never get to be part of any of the conferences :(
All I can say, Siesta Cheese-head mama, is that Psalm 37 was given to me early for a reason.
I am planning the simulcast for our church and long story short; I have had some wrestlings I was not expecting. So instead of feeling stressed until I heard this scripture this weekend - I get to relish in the fact that He will make my steps firm...now, and I needed that. They have felt shakey in the last 24 hours, I won't lie.
Thanks again for sharing what was meant to be shared early.
You are a blessing,
Siesta OC
Gotta love a gal who'll wear a cheese hat :)
Hosting at First Baptist Church Jacksonville, NC.
Expecting more than 250 women!
Praise Jesus!

Richlands, NC
Southside Baptist Church will host the simulcast in Wilmington, North Carolina, and we are looking forward to a journey in Psalm 37 this weekend. Praying for Beth and the entire LPM team. Thank you all.
I think she should do one of those for every conference--with those big mascot heads they use on College Game Day.
I am going too! Totally excited. We went last year too! It was like she was there only not!
We will be in Andover, KS!!
The Simulcasts are amazing!!! Last year was GREAT and I was looking forward to it again. Only this year, the local churches who are hosting the event aren't providing child care. Boo Hoo. I have a 23 month old and a 3 1/2 month old and child care would be grand. I'm still searching out options though--I've looked forward to this event for some time now and I WANT TO GO!!! :)
Prayers and blessings,
Rebecca
I can't make this year's event (what's the possibility of posting it online???) I'll be cheering for my 6th grader and then my 8th grader out on the football field - but I would SO LOVE to be "there" with all my Siestas (I will be in spirit - promise.) The two years I've gone have been encouraging and refreshing (and way early - this IS Alaska and I live an hour's drive away from the churches that hosted. But it was so worth it!)
Have a great time everyone!
Warm in Alaska.
(and Beth, the cheese becomes you.... well, kind of)
Hmm. I'll be attending at a church that is charging $30. Pray for no problems in the simulcast transmission, everyone. : )
Although I've been a part of several of Beth's bible studies, this is the first time I've had a chance to attend a LP event. I'm so excited! Thank you for sharing ahead of time the scripture and topic. I'm going to spend some time in that Psalm this week. Yea for simulcast technology!
See you Friday (from Shelby Township, MI). Can't wait.
We are looking forward to being a part of the simulcast. Will be praying for Beth, Travis and the whole team. I was able to go last year and it was great. It does seen like Beth is right there with us.

Looking forward to joining from Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, WA
Making plans to join in through Nashville, TN. Can only make it one night...but I'm gonna be there. This is my first simlucast.
We are so excited about the Simulcast. Four of us "Church Hags" (Hearts Afire for God) as we've been so kindly labeled will be attending the simucast in Galax, VA. Cannot wait! We couldn't make it to an arena event this year, but it is the next best thing to being right there with our siesta mama, the miesta, and all those wonderful siesta's in Wisconsin!
May the Lord give us the Word through you this weekend our sweet Bible Study Lady, I am praying His blessings all over you.
Oh, I am so excited for the simulcast this year! I still remember the bright, bright orange jacket Beth wore last year on Friday night. What will her fashion choices be this year? I am waiting with baited breath.
I'm excited to know the text in advance as well. I hope that will we as siestas will be "the teacher's pets" again this year! See you Friday night, Beth!!!!
Rebekah
Umm, are you sure that certain someone "accidentally" slept in?! Praying for yall!
Being a cheesehead myself, your mom just endeared herself to me even more, Amanda! I will be at the simulcast here in Dayton, OH with my dear cheesehead mama. Who knows, perhaps we'll even where our cheese! =)
I've been on Psalm 36 in the Message and 5 & 6 are just super. This is for you Beth and the fam,"God's love is meteoric, his loyalty astronomic, His purpose titanic, his verdicts oceanic. Yet in his largeness nothing gets lost, Not a man, not a mouse, slips through the cracks."
Praying I can go!!! How fun will that be?!?!
Love y'all!
I am so excited. Last year the Simulcast came and I had heard of your mom, but had not taken a Bible study. I am all over it this year. Feel like a kid in a candy store! May I say, I'm countin' down the hours.
Jan
Oh Beth is so fun and so sweet!!!!! I am going to see if there is a simulcast around here...
Just another comment. The Lord just reminded me of a tattered note card I've kept in my prayer journal for the past several months. The thing looks absolutely pitiful but it is very precious to me and I cannot even think of throwing it away. Back at the beginning of the year when we like so many were just beginning to face some very rough financial problems, God prompted me to write down several verse from Psalm 37. They became so dear to me that I carried that card everywhere with me for weeks. Whenever I felt panicked about what we were facing, I would pull out that card and pray those verses just like you've taught us Beth. God used His word to keep me from going over the edge of despair. The note card finally went through the washing machine in my bath robe :o) God has been faithful to provide me with so much peace in Him through His word. Just wanted to thank you for being so faithful to teaching God's word to us.
I could just cry Siestas!!! My husband and the Elders of our church are retreating to Lake Tahoe this weekend and I have Mom duty... I can't be watching with you all!
Siestas, could you pray for the Elders of SunHills Church that the Lord would fall on them and bless them that they might be a blessing for our church and community.
We are thrilled to be a simulcast host church and can't wait for Friday night to get here. Praying hard in NC for Beth, Travis and the whole team!

I'll be watching in Americus, Georgia!
The cheesehead video was great..I don't how you could become any more dear to my heart Beth. You are such a light in my life. There is a simulcast in my city and I have two tickets to go!! I will be praying for you my sweet bible study lady and for the WORD to Flood the place and change us. Grace and Peace to you Beth. Love you.
I am sooo ready! I have had my ticket for months! Can not wait! I am prayed up...for you and all the others who will make it possible!
May HIS WORD bring forth a revelation, and revolution!

I'm going to be at the conference in Green Bay and I'm so excited! (It's the birthplace of my husband and all my in-laws as well.)
When I read that Beth is going to be "teaching out of Psalm 37 and the theme will be 'The Heart of Our Desires'" I burst into tears! I don't even know why -- but what I do know is that God is already at work and will be doing His sweet yet powerful bidding in so many hearts in so many places this weekend through Beth and Travis and all the gang. I can't wait!
Linda in MN
This cheesehead will get as close to the stage as possible!! Soooooo looking forward to it!
I'm so excited--our church is hosting in Federal Way, WA. I have several people attending with me and praying several others will commit to coming. Praying and looking forward to this weekend!
I am so excited! Our Church is hosting the simulcast as well. I'm a secretary here and we have worked and prayed about this for a while now. I went to the simulcast last year and it was wonderful as well! We are selling tickets at the door as well and they are $10 per person and that includes a wonderful lunch at Noon! We're in Clarksville, TN at First Baptist Church. Please call 931.572.1506 with questions! Child care is available put please call to reserve....
I'm so sad I won't be able to make it to a simulcast this weekend. I was at the original simulcast (from NYC) a few years ago, and I'm still receiving blessings from Psalm 126.
And Beth, if you're going to wear the cheese head, you might want to keep it on all weekend. Cheddar that than flat hair.
(Sorry. I couldn't help but mozzarella around.)
I love the cheese!! I love cheese!! I love Beth, and she doesn't look like cheese at all with her cheese head!!
Love you girls,
I'M SOO GLAD YOU POSTED WHAT THE THEME IS GOING TO BE.. IT IS RIGHT ALONG WITH WHAT I HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR.. MY DESIRES..IT'S FUNNY I WAS JUST THINKING TO MYSELF.. WHAT'S THE THEME FOR THE SIMULCAST..WHAT'S BETH GOING TO TALK ABOUT?? REGARDLESS I KNEW IT WOULD BE AMAZING!! I CAN'T WAIT !!!

Oh, I'm just thrilled.
This will be my second simulcast. I've been to one live "Deeper Still in Nashville."
I'll be watching it in Baton Rouge, LA.
I'll also be attending a live conference in October, Memphis!
Thanks Beth for keeping us well fed.
LOVE YOU♥
I am looking forward to this event. I will spend some time reading Psalm 37 the rest of this week... thanks for the clue in! :)
Julie Anne
going with some friends from Heritage Baptist in Clarks Summit, PA to the simulcast at Grace Bible in Dunmore, PA!
We cannot wait to have you in our great stare. I will be in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin watching via simulcast at Calvary Church. We will not be expecting you to wear your cheese head gear as we know it would mess up your hair and frankly, there is little that goes well with that chunk of cheese! Let's leave that to the men folk!
I am more than excited to spend time surrounded by ladies raising up praises in song and spending time in God's Word.
Wishing you safe and speedy travel to and from Wisconsin.
I am so there! I am struggling with something right now. I pray God has a word for me this weekend. I just know he will!
I am so "stinkin" excited about attending the simulcast here in Traverse City, MI that I can hardly stand myself. I am praying for Beth and the entire group. I know the message will be outstanding as Mama Siesta always seeks the Lord first and lets Him use her to His hearts content!!!
The worship will be over the top as Travis is also so in tune to our Lord......
I attended a live event in Detroit two yrs ago and was blessed out of my socks. You can be sure I will be making EVERY effort to attend the one in May 2010 in GR.
That vimeo was over the top!!!
Blessings,
Bible Bunny in TC MI
I'm so excited to be joining y'all from Meredith, NH! Can't WAIT! Blessings!
My 3 year old daughter, who was born in Wisconsin, just asked me,"Who is that cheese head lady?"
I'm going to the Topeka, KS simulcast.
Hey Beth,
My church is hosting the simulcast, and I am in charge. I am feeling a bit anxious because we are having dinner Friday night for all attendees and breakfast on Saturday morning. We are also having the Lifeway store in a box at our event. So, there is lots to coordinate. In addition, our church has designed t-shirts for those coming. We have pre-sold nearly 300 tickets and I am so excited!!!!! I have been to several of your LPL events and in fact, last year was in Louisville for the simulcast. That is when I felt the Lord leading me to have our Women's Ministry team host the event at our church this year. Can't wait!! May God show up in mighty and powerful ways this weekend all over our nation in His churches.
Blessings,
Amy - Corinth Baptist Church-London, KY
Anon 1:02, I just wanted to let you know that each host church determines its own ticket price. I'm sorry you had to pay more for yours, but I hope you have a great experience.
I'm happy that everyone is so excited, but could someone explain to me why it would cost $30 per person? I checked 6 or 7 churches and the cost was $25-30, but for one which wasn't charging but taking a freewill offering.
I would like to invite several friends but they are all unemployed, living on fixed income or minimum wage or some other financial hardship. I can help maybe one person.
I don't mean to be critical, maybe there is a very good explanation!
Oh, thanks Amanda. I saw your response after I posted my question. But maybe you could enlighten us about the costs to the churches and LPM itself.
I can't wait..I'll be in Green Bay!! We will have a great time in the Lord! Lord Jesus, I ask that you would speak through Beth by your Holy Spirit and inspire each of us to draw closer to you so that others might be brought into the kingdom.
Love,
Rhonda in Michigan
Why are simulcast tickets in Houston only $10 but in Texarkana we have to pay $20? I'm just sayin' ...
I was able to attend a simulcast in MN last year while on vacation. It was wonderful! You'll love Wisconsin. Those mid-western women can't be beat! (Said by a true daughter of the deep South) Now, did you get anyone in New Hampshire to sign up this year?! I sure hope so! Blessings on the event. I'm jealous to miss.
I am so excited about this. I love to hear Beth live but the simulcasts are wonderful. I think this will be my 3rd or 4th one. Got my Bible study gals all going.
I will be praying for all.

Five of us from Rochester, MN will be at the live Green Bay event -- we are so looking forward to spending the time together in Christ!
We'll be praying for the entire LPL team. God bless you!
See you in October at the Memphis FedEx Forum. I will join you in prayer this weekend for everyone who will be involved in the simulcast. May the name of the LORD be praised!
Blessings,
Mary Watkins
Thanks for this post!!! I found a local church offering the simulcast and I am going to be able to go!!!
I can't wait!
Beth, I grew up in WI and used to go to band camp in Green Bay. Have a great time and enjoy some deep friend cheese curds for me! :)
Not in my area, sadly! I could drive 3 hours to the closest one, but I can't. Bummer!
I can't wait!!! I'll be attending in AL!
Can't wait for simulcast - I'm watching from First Baptist Church in Grapevine, Texas. My prayers are for everyone involved in each church and the actual life event!

I WAS DRIVING PAST A CHURCH SIGN IN NASHVILLE THAT STATED YOUR NAME AND I THOUGHT BACK TO LAST SUMMER(09). I WAS SO ANGRY INSIDE AND DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHY. THEN IT HAPPENED. A GROUP OF MY BEST GIRLFRIENDS GOT TOGETHER AND SAID THEY WANTED TO START A BIBLE STUDY. ONE OF THEM HAD COMPLETED BREAKING FREE. SHE SAID THAT YOUR BIBLE STUDIES WERE AWESOME AND WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED. WE ALL GOT TOGETHER AND COMPLETED THE PATRIARCHS. IT WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED I HAD NOT REALIZED HOW FAR AWAY FROM GOD I HAD STRAYED. EVER SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN ON A JOURNEY BACK. THANK YOU
Why is there such a price difference? I see at your church it is$10 but at 2 churches close to me in Indiana it is $25-$30. $10 seems reasonable 25 is our of budget.
Hope all goes well with it.
Darla
SO excited for the weekend. I've been living PS. 37 the last few months. Oh, the things the Lord is continuing to teach me. This is another weekend that God is going to talk to me! I am anticipating a God weekend! Speak Lord, Speak!!!
Christi
OMG that was a cheesy video.
I have been praying for this event for the past week or more. I am asking God to have a special word for ME....and may each one within hearing of your words Beth...find exactly what they are needing to find, hear exactly what they are needing to hear from our blessed Father. May God annoint you and your team...and Travis would you please sing..."Jesus Saves" or "In Christ Alone" or "I Am Persuaded" or....the list is endless!!!
WOW...I am excited...God is going to be powerful this weekend I am sure.
LifeWay charges a fee to the churches who host. I do not know the ins and outs of it, but I think part of it has to do with equipment costs. The churches that have women's ministry budgets (as ours does) may be able to eat the cost and have to charge very little or nothing at all to the attendees. Some churches may only need to cover their costs while others may be using it as a fundraiser - perhaps to raise money for their women's ministries (as my old church did). It just depends on the particular church. If the cost is prohibitive, I would encourage you to contact the host church near you and and explain your situation. They may be able to help you out. If anyone has further questions, please email me at blog@lproof.org. Thanks, sisters!
I can't wait until Friday night! There's one here in San Diego, going with 2 friends. So excited to get into the Word with you and pretend we are actually there. Ain't technology great!!! blessings, Pam in San Diego
Hi Amanda, so glad your trip was a wonderful break- thanks for sharing your mother's topic as it inspired me to try and find out what churches are offering the event in th Dallas and north east Texas area- I have invited my mother to attend when I travel there this weekend- I had a bit of a hard time narrowing down the locations due to the Lifeway web site balloon map- I called them and they tried to help narrow the locations in that area-they did not seem to have an alphabetic listing of cities and towns by state, just church names and the balloons which were not exact- they may want to initiate an alphabetic listing by towns in each state to correspond to the visual-those balloons are somewhat crowded and the listing consists of church names without location unless you hit each one individually to find it's location-Forgive me, if I have given my opinion more than may be wanted- Can't wait to be blessed by your mother's teaching- You Bless Us beyond measure dear ones
Can't wait for this weekend! Going to Crossroads Baptist in Raleigh, NC for the simulcast. Hope to see some siestas there!
Praying for our siesta mama!
Love ya'll like crazy! (cheese head and all)
So excited for this weekend! My church is hosting the simulcast here in Red Deer, AB. Looking forward to what God has to say through our siesta Beth.
I so wish I could join you all somewhere!
Please, please, please do something online (besides Wednesdays with Beth :) ) for those of us too far away to afford and/or get to a conference or simulcast.
Have a great time!
I cannot wait! I'll be attending at 1st Baptist in Kingsport, TN. I have been so blessed by the Esther bible study I've been doing, this was God's perfect timing for me. Thank you for all the work that goes into the LPL events and this blog! They are such a blessing!
I'm coming Green Bay to see you this weekend! I'm so excited I can barely stand it!!! :) Can't WAIT to see what the Lord is going to do! We took a step of financial faith back in the spring to buy the ticket to this conference, because I felt like the Lord was pressing on my heart that i needed to go. As the summer progressed, we went through a horrible (yet purifying) trial of faith, and then two weeks ago my husband lost his job. The Lord was so good to provide a way for me to reserve a ticket before the "storm" hit us! Can't wait to worship the Lord with you and learn and grow this weekend. Thanks for your faithful ministry!
Lacey in Milwaukee
Got my ticket, can't hardly wait. I have been "bleu" and a "muenster" lately.

Miss Beth, I hate to tell you but I actually thought while I was watching the video, "Hey, her lipstick matches her hat. I wonder if that was on purpose."
Glad to know it wasn't just me. :)
We love you lady! Thanks for what you do!
Word of God speak - let it FALL DOWN LIKE RAIN! Even though we live just north of Houston, three girlfriends and I have made reservations at a Galleria hotel and are making a "girls" weekend centered around God time through this simulcast. We are BESIDE ourselves with anticipation to learn what God will teach us and the INCREDIBLE worship we will be able to lavish on Him. PRAISE!!! Beth, you are covered in prayer as you prepare to release what God has prepared in advance for you to accomplish.
I'm going out on a limb here. Is Beth wearing MAC lipstick in Vegas Volt? It's a fave of mine...and matches the cheese perfectly.
THANKS AMANDA for giving us the Scripture. I had a rough day & was getting ready to read in my Bible, but did not know where...now I do!! SOOOO looking forward to the simulcast in Fresno, CA at Peoples Church!!
Yeah God!!!!!
Yeah Beth!!!!!
Amanda,
I've been thinking about all the post-event slide shows and thought it would be cool if all of the simulcast sites submitted 1 or 2 pictures from their site and a slide show was made that included at least one picture from every site. Wouldn't it be cool if we got to take a peek at eachother worshipping and studying the Word from over 100 locations across the country? I don't know if that's feasible, but it sounds kind of cool to me. I just love those slide shows. They always make me teary. BTW, I cannot wait for the simulcast! I am so excited.
Anon 6:37, look under the first Texas map it gives you and click on "View Texas host sites...in a larger map." It will bring up a new map. Then click on the "zoom in" + sign until the balloons become more spread out. You may need to click and drag on the map to get DFW where you want it. That should do it!
How clever you are!
See you from Harrison Arkansas
Just booked rooms for St. Louis next year.
I remember when you got that hat in Minneapolis last summer!! I wish I could afford the GB tickets, I'd be there in a heartbeat (I live in Madison, WI). I promised to take my sister when I found out about the Green Bay date, but I've been unemployed. Praise God I got a job this week!!! I'll try to find a church that's doing the simulcast of it. Praying for you!
Blessings,
Carolynn
The Simulcasts are a huge blessing! This will be my third one. I'm attending at Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, VA. Thank you, thank you, Beth, LPM Staff, Travis, Praise Team and everyone at Lifeway for all your efforts. PRAYING FOR A MIGHTY OUTPOURING OF THE SPIRIT!!
Love to all!

Can NOT wait!!!! It's going to be an incredible weekend!!! I'm going to be attending at my church here in the metropolis of Dacula!
Praying for an outpouring!

Hi Beth and Amanda,
I just wanted to leave another comment because I started meditating and picking apart Psalm 37 in an effort to have my heart ready to hear from Him on Friday. In verse 5, I came across a word that I learned from Beth in Believing God. Yep, I was shocked to find out Commit meant: galal, to roll away, or roll onto. As in Gilgal, their stuff being rolled away. My stuff being rolled onto the Person of Jesus Christ who is more than able....I'm so excited about the words, I am somewhat of a dork. I can hardly wait for Friday....
Lisa in Kirkland, WA
For those interested, last year I headed up the simulcast committee at our church and we based our $30 price on the fact that we provided breakfast , snacks and drinks for our gals who attended. Everyone I spoke with loved being catered to a bit and thought it was completely worth the price. I know many churches do similar things.
Blessings!
I have been looking forward to this for months!!!! I NEED THIS!!!!!! I'm praying for Beth, Travis, and the rest of the team. My mom, myself and my soon-to-be sister-in-law will be attending in Denton, TX. If anyone in the area is still thinking about coming, First Baptist Denton is hosting and isn't charging for admission - praise God!
I'm counting down the hours!!!
My home church is a host church here in Raleigh, NC. So excited. I'll be reading Psalm 37 before I get there Friday nught!
Ha! That video is too funny!!!
Wish I could go! : (
I will definitely be reading Psalm 37 this weekend and on my knees! You all will be right by my heart!
God Bless- Emmy : )
I will be watching from First Baptist Church, Duncan, SC. I can't wait! I just finished the Ester Bible Study, and it was amazing. It was exactly what I needed for this this time in my life. We are starting Stepping up next week and I am really looking forward to that too. See you this weekend!
I am going. It seems to be a birthday tradition in my family. last year it was my mom;s birthday on simulcast weekend, this year my baby girl is turning ONE. no she is not coming to the event -Travis is too loud for her delicate ears just yet. But still! What a great way to start off the day.
Looking forward to it, and praying for your mom and the praise team.

SIESTAS!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! WE WILL BE IN ANDERSON,MO AT NEW LIFE FELLOWSHIP!!!! There should be 200 of us at this church which is amazing because it is a rural area...yeah God!!!
I'm so excited I have tears in my eyes and overwhelmed by the Holy Spirits presence!!!!! (The exclamation points define the drama in me!!) So much by the way that my friend told me the other day that I remind her of Barbara Jean on the Reba show! Does that crack you up or what!! ( I just re-read what I wrote and I'm laughing my head off because I'm tellin ya'll this!)
I can't wait to hear how the Lord is going to show off!
Because His word is alive and active and sharper than any double edged sword!!! Hallelujah!
Thank you for your obedience!!!
I'll be prayin'!!!
Love ya,
Jennie
I will be attending my first LPL simulcast in San Angelo, Texas at The Heights Baptist Church (50 miles away)and I am so excited. Two of the ladies I did the SSBS online with will be attending also...one in Canada and one on the east coast. Once again we will be in God's Word together...is that awesome, or what? We will certainly have something to blog about after this weekend. We love you for continuing to bring the Siestas together to hear what God has for us. Take care and be safe...
What!? Beth, you were BORN in Green Bay?? No way! And here I thought we were so culturally opposite. You are coming back to your roots! That video was awesome. It takes someone who really cares to put a cheese on their head. I see you understand how it is here.
I am going to be in Green Bay this weekend with 16 other ladies from our church and ministry. I cannot wait! Beth, you've taken me on so many Bible study journeys...I feel like you are my spiritual mama. It's my first time to have the opportunity to attend an event, and if I get within 10ft of you, I might have to hug your neck. I hope that won't freak you out. :) I'm going to have my coffee now and read Psalm 37. Thanks, Amanda!
Yes! We at Fortified Hills Baptist Church in Dallas, GA are soooooo excited about this weekend! We have been praying for Beth and Travis and the entire team, and we know that God will be magified and glorified! Woohooo!
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:1
"We will shout for JOY when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God." Psalm 20:5
Thank you for posting the Lifeway link. For the first time, I'm able to go to an LPL event via Simulcast! I am desperate for a word this weekend! Bring it on, Beth! May your teaching fall like rain.... :)
Amanda, thank you!!! I now know how to use the map with the balloons, thanks to your excellent direction- and it was FUN! Blessings and appreciation, Your anonymous, Aunt Siesta in Austin
I am so excited. I will be participating in Lebanon, Tennessee at the Gladeville Baptist Church. Thank you Beth for allowing so many of us to be there from our locations.
I showed my 12 year old son this video because he is a major Packer fan. When he saw it he said, "sweet"! That's the utmost praise from a 7th grader. You rock! I'll also have you know he said, "she's a grandma? - "she's young!" You can live off that comment for a long while siesta!! Enjoy!

OOOOOOOOOOOO I am so torn there is a simulcast in my area but my church is moving. This is the last week we will celebrate the Lords day in it and we celebrate on Saturday. We are planning to have the Lords supper and that is one of my responsibilities. So unfortunately I am obligated to my fellowship. It is rather coincidental for me that the teaching is on Psalm 37 because I had already chosen verse 4 for my scripture verse for September 1. I guess I will have to wait until the next time. My heart and prayers are with you Beth

Woman - you crack me up!
That is all I am going to say....
Well.....I also wish you would come to Canada some day! Don't make me fly down there, Lol.
Thanks for the giggle - cheesy-girl!
Mrs.Beth, I just returned home from a host church. I really wasnt sure about going at first, but I'm glad I got talked in to it. Its been a hard year, after dealing with the aftermath of my fathers suicide, health problems hitting me from every direction, I had lost sight of the desires in my heart. I'm pretty sure I'm the youngest in the host church that I went to, at 19 while all my friends are doing other things this weekend, I know that God placed me there, to get a word from Him, and that is just what He did, I'm finally able to "let go", of all the past hurts and surrender myself to God's will. Thank you for reminding me to, Not gove up on God, He is never going to give up on me.
Looking forward to tomorrow!
I enjoyed the simulcast from Community Church of Columbus., Indiana...we had storms in the area, so we had a few burps, but got the point....our heart of desires will be God driven when we allow Him the delight and joy in us....can't wait to see what Beth has for us tomorrow. Those cheese heads there in Green Bay are A-OK!!!Hoosiers are very accepting, lol.
The opening words did shake me...avalanche...I lost my second brother in an avalanche in Alaska in 1978 and just went to the pass where he went down last month. His loss of life continued to make me an advocate for the Lord for children and families in crisis.
Beth, I just got home from a host church, and am so glad you opened this up to those of us who can't go to a live program! It gave me new insight into the "desires in my heart". I'm looking forward to tomorrow, and the "rest of the story". My life has been so crazy the last 2-3 years, and God has been opening so many doors for me, and what you teach is very much a part of my journey. Is this something that I can purchase a video or audio of? I would love to watch / listen again. Sometimes I get more out of it the 2nd or 3rd time. Oh! I have another idea! Can you do these as a webcast?
Kathy
I can't say I've ever blogged before, but I felt such a need to say this. For myself, and for anyone else who needs a prayer. I will pray for all of us with Thomas hearts, with spirits overcast with doubt (I'm sure there are many). People like me, who are climbing a mountain of percieved evidence that God does not care or plan to answer the desires of our hearts. For those of us who were taught from birth that nothing about our needs, let alone our desires is of the slightest concern to anyone.
May God shower us with peace, comfort and most of all, courage. We can live our lives choosing to turn away from that aspect of trust in God, and certainly experience a relationship with our Father that is less than...or, we can be courages and face the fear of being let down by the One who knows us and loves us Most.
My prayers tonight are for us all
Just got home from the Simulcast where I viewed it from Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, AR.
I can't say enough about the simulcast. How many times have I heard Psalms 37:4 and thought that must be meant for someone else besides me? I've had one particular desire of my heart for many years...substituted cheap alternatives because I thought there was too big a chasm for me to cross to get to the "real deal". Well, thanks to the Lord, through Beth, I have a renewed faith that it will happen. I have some work to do though, and am ready to start! Amen!
(Beth, you're welcome in Fayetteville, AR anytime...we'll call the Hogs with ya!)
I had a great time at the simulcast this weekend. Enjoy hearing biblically sound teaching. Today, I was reminded that God cheers in my delight. He had granted me desires of my heart and now I am watching the fruits of my praying. My husband is attending church every Sunday. Is staying in the Word. I had to become less for him to commit his time to the Lord. Like Beth, I was a big person in church, went to seminary, worked as a minster in a church for several years. when I stepped back. My husband has stepped forward. Now we attend church together, pray together. How wonderful our God is!!

I participated today at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Lakeside Park, KY. I had never heard Beth speak before - but I loved her. The Bible is very hard for me to interpret but she made in so plain. I would never have gotten so much out of Psalm 37 by myself. Thank you Beth for bringing this message to so many people.
Had a super time at the simulcast. Wonder if you could come up with the A-Z scriptures to memorize and post it.
Thanks,
Hollie
The simulcast was awesome! I was wondering if you could post the
A-Z scriptures to memorize.
Thanks,
Hollie
Just wanted you to know that I woke up this morning and looked in the mirror and I CAUGHT THE WAVE!!!! Hilarious! Green Bay was an event I will never forget. Beth spoke right to my heart. Thank-you!
I loved the "names of God" screensaver that you had up during prayer times at the simulcast. Is there anyway we could download that? I would love to have that on my computer.
Thanks,
Hollie
I was Blessed and Inspired this weekend at my first Simulcast. There was @ 10 -12 ladies from my church, Pleasant Hill Baptist who attended.
Thanks so much for allowing our hometown, Columbus, MS and Fairview Baptist Church to be apart of the 516 locations.

Beth,
I attended the Simulcast and cannot tell you how awesome it was. I returned to church about 3 years ago and have attended 5 of your bible studies at O'Fallon Christian Church near St.Louis, Mo. In that time I have learned so much, but had not experienced a "revelation" like I did during the simulcast. Your acronynm "JAW" struck a raw nerve with me.
I realized for the first time that anger has been holding back my true spiritual awakening and I felt like my heart finally burst open....ready to completely receive God's true love and holy Spirit! I think the statement that anger usually covers an underlying sadness is what resonated instantly with me.
I broke down sobbing as I realized that the lifelong effort to repress the anger that I grew up with was what had been holding me back. My mother was super-strict, verbally abusive and allowed absolutely no disagreement or choice in anything. I was forced to repress a tremendous amount of anger and that had become a way of life for me.
No more. I am determined to work from the midpoint on your arrow with "Reverence" and "Real" efforts to correct relationships that have suffered from that anger.
More importantly, my joy in the Lord is finally dawning. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for your wisdom and dedication to women and faith!
Please come to St.Louis soon!
