Good Monday Morning From IAH
Good Monday morning, my beloved Siestas!
I am at the Houston Airport (IAH) with my man and we are waiting to get on a flight to Denver where we'll then connect to Wyoming and join the Jones. We've got a slight maintenance delay and I'm a bit concerned about our layover. One thing I can tell you for sure. A life of airports will remind you over and over just how little control a folk has over most circumstances!
I am hoping some of you guys from North Dakota get on here today because I have to tell you something. Not only did I totally LOVE you and LOVE studying God's Word with you, you guys gave $10,000 dollars to the poor through Samaritan's Purse. Did you hear what I said???? $10,000! They were absolutely FLOORED. For crying out loud, WE were absolutely floored. I've never posted the charitable giving before but I had to this time. You need to know that you 4200 women outgave groups over twice your size. Please don't misunderstand me to imply the least negative thing about a single one of our wonderful groups. We don't ever measure our groups like that. People can only give what they can give and some areas of the country are suffering financially much more than others. At the same time, I just had to let you know how generous you were. Organizations like Samaritan's Purse really get hit by financial crises like the one we're experiencing so this was a huge help to them. They'll turn that money into provision for the poor as soon as possible. Thank you so much, ladies! Thank you so much!
I love all you guys like crazy. You won't waste a prayer on our family right now. At the top of our needs is a loved one with a health issue. That's all I feel free to say right now but I cannot express how much we'd appreciate your prayers for healing. As much as I know it would be in love, please try not to get into conjecture in your comments on who or what it might be because it will inevitably lead to rumors. If about 5000 of you would say just one general prayer each, we'd feel blessed beyond measure. We would know that, no matter what, the heart of God was moved by the copious prayers of the saints. Thank you, Sisters. We pray for you, too.
Talk to you soon! And I will give you a general update on that situation before long, too.
Honored to be your servant,
Beth
UPDATE: Our flight was cancelled so we had to go down to baggage claim, reclaim our bags, go back through ticketing, get new seats and get booked on another flight five hours later. And we don't have a car at the airport so we, two equally hyperactive adults, are just sitting tight. Yes, Michelle offered to come get us but I'm not letting her go to that much trouble. Just so happens we're in IAH's only small terminal and the lone one that doesn't allow you to take the train to any of the hopping ones. Thankfully, a sparrow is loose in the terminal and is perched about five feet from Keith and me so we're momentarily spared from perishing of unmitigated boredom. Because of the economy, most of the kiosks are closed so shopping is out of the question but there is a Rosetta Stone vending machine that keeps calling our names. Keith and I are thinking of learning Swahili while we're here. I'll keep you posted.
FURTHER UPDATE:

Nimekula - I have eaten
Ninakula - I am eating
Nitakula - I will eat

Prayin for you all today!
Wish my hubby was there to work on your plane that is his job(aircraft avionics/maintenance) He would make you feel at ease. Praying for those maintenance guys too!
Love ya all like crazy,
Rachel
Dear Beth,
May prayers be lifted up from every life you have touched for God's blessings of healing on you and your family today and everyday. Have a safe trip and hug those babies!
Beth,
I will definitely be in prayer for your loved one, and also that your family will have a wonderful time together! We just got back from Mackinac Island. Came back to the news that 2 people we have been in fervent prayer for have gone to their heavenly homes this weekend. They are totally unrelated. One died of cancer and the other from a string of illness that all hit at once. Both were devout Christians, one was a pastor, and it is a blessing that they are no longer suffering. But our hearts go out to their families. Sorry didn't want to be a downer while you are on vacation. I pray that God will bless this time you have together! I thank God for each of you often in my prayers! Love you guys like crazy!
Dear Beth Moore,
I am and will continue to pray for you and your loved ones and for healing.
What an awesome blessing to read about the weekend in North Dakota. From the many walk-ins that night in attendance to the wild storm and to the incredible generosity towards Samaritan's Purse.
How I never tire of hearing about our great God at work!
Much love and blessings in Christ,
Michelle in VT
Father, show your mercy toward the Moore and Jones families. May they have sweet fellowship together and show them traveling mercies coming and going. In Your Mighty Name we pray these things. Amen
Samaritan's Purse will put the money to good use. Thanks the ND ladies for being so generous!
I remembered your family member today in prayer.
To the Siestas that do not know, there is a Siesta cookbook

Beth,
It is an honor to pray for you and your family. Today I say a special prayer for healing of your loved one.
Blessings,

Hey Beth,
I was at your Deeper Still conference in Greensboro with my mom. I am 21 years old and about to be a Senior at UNC Chapel Hill, and seriously, EVERYTHING you all talked about was sooo awesome for a young woman to hear. I am right in the middle of "Breaking Free" and "Crossing Your River of Fear" and let me tell you, Habbakuk 3:19 is completely rooted in my heart. Thank you for being such a wonderful, fiery, passionate servant of the Lord...I love it! I will be thinking about your family and praying for healing wherever it may be needed.
Love,
Sarah
You can count me as one of the ones to pray for your family. Health issues and anything else. God knows what you need and I will be praying

I got goosebumps! That's so amazing that the "Dakotans" (is that what you guys are called? lol) were so generous! That's a wonderful testament and encouragement to me ~ I love it!!!

Beth,
I will most assuredly be praying for your family member. The circumstances DO NOT matter. God knows them.
I'd like to request prayer from your end. You might have seen on the national news this morning about the woman who was abducted from a rural road in our small Mayberry-esque town here in North GA. It has absolutely knocked the wind out of everyone's sails. She was out walking for exercise and talking on the cell phone with her boyfriend when a car apparently pulled up and snatched her. The family is devastated and the entire town is in shock and scared half to death.
You have a few of us siestas here in Blairsville and we would so appreciate the prayers of other siestas for this family and this woman. We pray she is still alive and will be returning to her family soon.
God bless your time away.
Leah
WOW! What an amazing gift to the poor. Makes me want to give big to get in on the fun!
Praying for your request--to the God who knows it all and how best to answer.
Praying too for a great time in WY with Amanda & co. Hoping for lots of laughs and lazy mornings together.
Love you much,
Joanne
Beth,

In Jesus' name may this loved one of yours rise up and out of this illness, may they experience the healing and wholeness only Jesus can give, may every bone in their body and every organ line up with the word of God right now to be free from this ongoing illness. It is in His Name and His authority I speak total and complete wellness over them. May the peace of Christ rule and reign in all of your hearts. And may this week be one of the best weeks ever for all of you! Amen.

Counting down the days until the SIMULCAST? How many women world wide are you expecting?
Holy Father,
Your ways are glorious and majestic; You are gracious and compassionate. I pray that You will cause Your deeds and wonders to be remembered by this loved one. Even as we ask for healing, I pray that he or she will know that all the works of Your hands are faithful and just. Your covenant love is steadfast and I pray You will pour it out on this person. Holy and awesome is Your name.
Thanks to You in Jesus' name.
Praying for healing for your loved one, Beth.
ABBA, I remember the teaching You gave Beth to give to us when she said at times she says to You in prayer, they mean so much to me, Lord, and so this morning I am saying, Lord, this one means so much to Beth and we, the Body of Christ, I am asking You, Lord, to heal this one wholly and completely. I am asking You for traveling mercies for Beth and Keith. I am asking You for a time of refreshing and sweet fellowship and tons and tons of holy fun for the Moores and the Joneses as they rest and play together. Amen and amen.
Have a safe vacation, no hanging out with the bears.(Delight!) I will be in prayer for your family.

Praying Mama Beth - we love you so very much and hope that this mysterious loved one receives healing soon - God knows all! :) Prayers for your safe travels, too...btw, can't wait to see you at Deeper Still in OKC this December!
Have a wonderful trip. Praying for your family member, and for your plane as I read this blog. You are such a blessing to all of us. May God bless your family with a healing.
Father, I pray Beth’s loved one will shout the words of victory over this illness as the psalmist declares, “O Lord my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.” I pray they will know you are the Author of life and have already nailed the pain with each hammer blow on the cross of Calvary. I pray Beth’s family will continue to praise You and forget not all Your benefits-You forgive all our sins and heal all our diseases! Amen.
Hope your time with family is restful and I know it wil be enjoyable. I can't imagine your family getting together with out a few good laughs. Summer came and went so fast this year, I wasn't able to get down and see my sister and her kids. I will in October however.
We have 20 ladies attending the Simulcast. I am so excited as this will be the closest thing to Live I have attended. Can't wait.
My prayers will be with your family as you relax together as well as your family member. Love you right back.

Hey Beth,
Had the privilage of hearing from God this weekend in ND with you! I am learning to let go of a situation that I have let confine me and keep me from doing all that God has called me to do.
I was wondering if you had a copy of the prayer we prayed at the end in pairs that I could get. I definately need to post that up in multiple places as the beginning is always the toughest. But, I am, minute to minute, surrenduring my thoughts and making them obedient to Him.
I love you dearly and had such a blast with you this weekend! As well I will be praying for your famiy.
Heather
I am from ND and am thrilled to hear how much was given to S.P. this weekend! I had an incredible time hearing many words from God through His faithful and trusted servant, Beth. I can't tell you how much I wanted to run up and hug you and cry on your shoulder... I was in tears to be so near my beloved teacher. Through the studies I've done of yours (7 or 8), you've taught me so much about our God and fueled (along with the Holy Spirit) a great and fervent passion for the Word and relationship with Him! I am so thankful for you and the work you've done in Jesus name. I have prayed for your loved one, and will pray for her/him as it comes to mind. I will pray for peace for the family as well. My love to you!
Beth,
I just want you to know that I just prayed for you and your loved one. I told God that if He would perform this miracle, not only would your family see His power and glory, but that I know my sister, Beth, couldn't keep her mouth shut about it (I love that about you!!!) and all 5000 of us would see His power and glory as well!!! I know He's Huge and powerful no matter what, but I'm praying for Him to show Himself Huge on your loved one's behalf AND on behalf of all your sisters who have earnestly prayed for you and your loved one to be healed.
Have fun in Wyoming!
Love, KT
Beth,
What great news from ND! I know that 10K will do great things for many.
My man is a pilot of 37 years and I always pray for his maintenance crews! Rachel, your husband is a true blessing to the aircraft industry. My husband always held his crews in high esteem and gave them credit for his flights, after thanking his "PILOT", of course!!
I'll keep your family in my prayers-for healing and for the time with you're to spend with those grandbabies! (and of course, the big kids too!) Have a great visit and make lots of memories.
Will be praying for your family, Beth. Hope you can rest in Him and enjoy your time in Wyoming. Be refreshed, dear one!
Jesus I pray for Beth and her family today. I pray that you will be gracious and compassionate upon her family. I pray that you will interceed on behalf of this loved one and bring miraculously healing upon them for the glory of your kingdom! in Jesus name i pray, Amen!
Praying for God to reveal Himself in awesome ways to all of your loved ones and that He would lay a healing hand on those who need it. Have a rejuvinating time in Wyoming. (This Siesta will only be slightly covetous of the cooler, less humid weather you'll get while I sweat it out in our beloved H-town)
Dear Beth,
I am praying for your family needs today.
I hope you have a wonderful time in the mountains..I know you are ready to see your babies!
Love to you!

As one who has dealt with a myriad of life-threatening health issues since I was a child, I know how how consuming an illness can be. I wouldn't trade it for anything, but boy, how I love being rescued from it! Thank you, Lord!
Privileged to pray,

In Jesus' Name, we ARE healed! Thank You, Jesus!
Beth, as you have testified before, there is great power in praying God's Word. I pray that your family member is praying God's Word and receiving His healing and deliverance!
Much love to you, Beth. I hope you have blast in Wyoming! I just read a book that was based in Jackson Hole and it so made me want to go there. :) So if you would, please post some pictures and tell us some fun stuff so that I may live vicariously through you...

Beth,
Praying for you all this morning and will continue to do so.
As I read your previous post I got goosebumps when I read, "We think there was a war in the heavenlies last night." Sometimes we forget about what's going on in the heavenlies. I pray satan was defeated that night and souls won for the Lord. What a privilege you have been given to share the good news of Jesus!
Blessings friend!

As a member of a family with a loved one dealing with a terrible diagnosis and terrible health care, I am praying for your loved one. Hope you guys have a blas together.
I pray for your family loved one, that whatever the health situation, God in His secret wisdom would reveal knowledge, revelation and insight bringing complete restoration, spirit, soul and body. I pray that their faith would not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 1Cor. 2:5

Just prayed for your loved one, Siesta Mama.
Much love,

Beth,
Prayers are going up for your loved one.... I feel like you and I had a chat this am. I am doing the Beloved Disciple devotional, and today it was on John 1:16 and growing in God's grace and seeing myself as one loved by God.
I desperately needed that.
Blessings to you and your family...... found that new favorite pen yet?
Dear Beth,
Wow, at the gift of a prayer! Simply because of the wonder of the power that goes with it. And only because of the grace and the mercy and the goodness and the pure unadulterated love of our God and our SAVE-ior! Indeed, I'd be honored to be one that sends such a gift!
Dear Father, God, Lord, Jesus, SAVE-ior!
How I pray for the loved one of Beth's that is in such desperate need of Your healing. I ask You to bend Your ear to hear the pleas being cried out to You for this one. May You be filled with Your wonder of compassion! May You see the misery that this person is feeling... may You see them crying out because of whatever is that is bothering them... may You be concerned with their suffering! And may You come down to rescue and save and deliver and free them just as You did the Israelites and so many others!! Whatever it is and whoever it is You already know! Do a miraculous thing! Let Your Glory be magnificently shown!
I ask in the name of Your precious Son Jesus, blow our minds with the wonder of You. Amen.
I have prayed as I am sure many have for this loved one. We don't need to know the specifics because God knows and He will listen to the heartfelt prayers.
Love you tons,
Beth,
I said a prayer for your loved one today. Enjoy your time away with your family!

The Lord put on my heart last week that someone was
ill! His LOVE amazes me! I love you all so much!
This weekend we were traveling and just loved playing
Travis' music in the car, raising our hands and
worshiping HIM!
Love in Christ,
Michele
Hi Beth - I just want to tell you that I came from Canada, just over the border to the LP in Fargo... and WOW.... my heart is so full. I went feeling/believing/expecting God to speak to me - through you, and I am speechless, man did He speak! May God continue to use you and your team for his honor and glory, as He already has and is and will in the future!
I will also pray for your loved one who is sick - God knows, we don't have to know details - we only need to breathe your names in prayer! God is the great physician.
Thank you again for blessing us -
And a huge thanks to Travis and team - wow - at times I just had to shut my eyes and listen.
The presence of God in that dome - gives me shivers - his breath on my neck WAS felt!!
May joy be yours today, in unlimited measure, my dear sister

Hi Beth,
I was at your Living Proof Event at the farGODome! Wow what a message God gave you to send home with us!!! I am from Northeast SD and go to your events when you are in this vicinity and every time I can't wait to see how the Lord is going to tug at my heartstrings!
I pray your family will be blessed in Wyoming and for the health issue of your loved one who is in the palme of His hand!
It was hard to have the event come to a close, kind of like saying good-buy to visiting family or close friends that live far away...but it's only for a little while!
Love, from Tammy in SD
Praying for you all1
Beth,
I will be praying for you todat as you and Keitha are traveling :) You got to love getting to the airport at the crack of dawn and then finding out you are delayed. Have fun people watching today until you can get your hands on those babies.
Be safe!!
I am praying for your loved one RIGHT now.
I was at the Fargo event last weekend and was immeasurably blessed. It has re-ignited my love for Christ and my desire to be in his word on a daily basis. I pray that in this busy world, I can stay focused on what matters most -my relationship with Him. Thank you Beth for your encouragement and your faithful dedication to serving the Lord! I pray for healing for your loved one and that the Lord gives you comfort and encouragement as you walk through this trial.
Tamara
Hey, Beth! I will be lifting y'all up in prayer as well. Thank you for letting us pray for your family.
Wow!! Those gals in ND are awesome!! Headquarters for SP is not far from here. We send some of our church members to pack the boxes each year. As soon as my boys get older, I plan on helping too. Right now, we help fill the individual ones.
Have a safe trip!
Hugs,
Susan

Dear God, You know all things. You love us steadfastly and immeasureably. How can it be so? But it is. You are our Hope and our Rock and Shield. As you know, Beth has asked for prayer for a family member. You know all the details. Bless the entire family and cover the one with your healing, peace, grace and mercy. We ask in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. amen
Beth,
I am praying for your family member today. I pray for the comfort only God can give. I pray that Jehovah Rapha will heal your family's health, making all of you strong and steadfast.
Cindy
Dear Beth,
We all love you so much! What an honor to pray for you- I have already and will continue.
I feel a little funny pointing you somewhere, but, today I was reading "My Utmost for His Highest" and today's devotional is about sickness. It was to long to post here but I have a feeling you might have a copy. I'm hoping God speaks to you through it.
With love and respect,
Geri K
Hi Beth,
What an amazing report of the giving to Samaritan's Purse.
It is a privilege to pray for your loved one's health situation today.
Have an absolute blast with the Joneses and give those babies lots of hugs!
Love you,
Dianne
I was at your Fargo weekend and was totally blessed by what you had to say and share. I am from Manitoba, Canada and so wish all my friends and family could have been there to see you. You are such a huge encouragement and I was so touched by your obvious love for women. Thank-you so much for how you allow God to use you to encourage us. Have you ever thought of coming to Winnipeg???
Mandy
I will be saying a prayer for your family member, your right, God knows and that is all that matters. I am sure it is God who sent that bird to occupy you and Kieth at least for a minute, knowing that you would go nuts with nothing happening.
Oh... and good luck with that Swahili thing:)
Dearest Beth,
Praying in agreement with you and all the other siestas for healing for your loved one.
Praying for your safe travels and a refreshing and fun time with your family in the cooler climate.
Wanted to let the siesta who mentioned that her husband is a pilot and always prays for his maintenance crew that I always pray for pilots and crew members and ask that the plane is in perfect working order. I will be adding the maintenance crew to my prayers as well.
Others have asked for prayer and please know that they were lifted up. Praying especially for the missing gal in North Georgia. Shocking times we live in. So glad that Miss Beth teaches us the important things of life, our relationship with the Lord, first and foremost.
God bless.
I attended your conference in ND and I know that God's annointing was there! I have never enjoyed a thunderstorm so much before in my life and I know I'll never look at them the same way again.
God's blessings on you as you continue working in His service.
Cyndy in ND
It was a blessing for me to be among the 4200 women who were at the Fargodome. God's presence was so strong! I have never enjoyed a thunderstorm so much before in my life and I doubt I'll ever think of them in the same way again.
God's blessings on you as you continue to work for our Lord.
Cyndy in ND
Hey our beloved siesta mama!
Sorry you had to spend your morning in airport misery. I am sure things will get better when you see Amanda, Curtis, and those adorable grandbabies.
Praying for your loved one! You know for some reason I have been prompted by the Lord of late to pray for your family more than I normally do. I guess I now know why.
Have a wonderful time in the mountains.
Sending much love your way!
Let me just say that learning Swahili is COOL. My 14 yr old daughter bought the Rosetta Stone program and totally fell in love with it. And she's no geek. God just fell over her 2 yrs ago and planted a dream to go to Tanzania someday. She figured she'd need to know the language so she paid for the program from her babysitting money. We just never know how God is going to answer our prayers for our kids. But we can be assured it will be better than we ever dreamed up for them.
took two mission trips to Kenya in the past year, so let me teach you the best Swahili you'll need to know..."Mwathani Arogocwo" (second word sounds like "arrow go show", first word sounds like it is spelled, with soft th and i sounds like long e)--it means "Praise God". Beyond that, Asante means "thank you", "jambo" means "hello", "pole pole" (pronounced "pole-ay") means slow down, and "haraka" means "hurry up."...and there, beth is the most rudimentary swahili lesson you're ever likely to get...
by the way, the mission to Kenya was wonderful, as are the people there. hoping to return.
Beth,
My sister and I were in Fargo this weekend. We are renewed and have a new dose of fight running in our veins. We have our swords drawn over some situations. Thank you for coming to us with His annointing in word and song. What I heard is...Make a brand new ending. What should have been is not going to be...Praise God! I am praying the your family member.
JMatt
Beth: You are so funny. I totally understand beb ored in an airport. And yes I will pray. Kim B. in Az
Father-
You are OUR HEALER. Poor Your grace out on Beth's loved one and do what only You can.
We love YOU. Amen
Love you too Beth and have a great vacation :) (we are looking so foward to the simulcast!!!)
way to go ND girls....AWESOME!
You make wise use of your time! Sorry for the delay in your family time today. I'm making roast for supper, if you're hungry when you get to DIA. :0)
at least you have internet! you could watch tv shows on your laptop...
let's see.. thumb wars, I spy, if you had a deck of cards then 'go fish' and 'gin'... oh wait, no... these are what I do with my kids in the airport when we're waiting. Keith might not go for these things :)
seriously, not even a Starbucks on your island of isolation there?!
Praying for your loved one - thanks for entrusting us with the opportunity. And I'm also praying that YOU can receive rest and refreshment for body and soul. You must need it! (I think of that often for you!) I love you.
Becky B
The gift from the gals in North Dakota is amazing!

On a funnier note-the Swahilli lesson made me crack up...my hubby is still wondering what I'm laughing about!
Oh Beth Moore,
You crack me up.
Rosetta Stone vending machine...Swahili??!!
I didn't even know what language that was till another Siesta said where she knew the language from...LOL. This is such an educational blog. :)
Praying for your loved one and for a safe trip. You made me laugh so hard with your Swahili. You are too funny! Have a great time with your family.
I hope your second flight made it out. The Mountains sound like a wonderful place to be right now. Enjoy your time with the family.
Will be prayign for all of you. Susan
Beth,
I am in Houston right now in a hotel on my laptop. I wanted so much to attend your church and maybe have a chance to say hello. However, when I read Amanda's blog about her vacation I figured you would be gone the week I was here!
I am so happy that you not only get some time for relaxation and family but also that you are getting out of this heat! I am from OK and it is just as hot there!
Enjoyed a day at the Galleria. How huge and wonderful is that? We don't have anything like that where I live. It was such a treat.
Please know that I am praying for you and yours. Have a marvelous time.
Forever His,

It is my honor to bring your sweet family to the Throne. I don't need details, please know you are deeply loved.

Beth,
What a joy you are to the Siestas! I am so sorry that you arrived at the airport so early, and are now delayed. But your swahili update had me giggling. Girl, you are a hoot!
Praise the Lord for the giving that was done to Samaritan's Purse. What a wonderful organization!
Praying for your loved one and precious family. I hope you have a wonderful get-away in the beautiful mountains. You certainly deserve it!
Much love,
Tara
Beth,
Praying for your precious loved one, for God's healing power to rain down upon this person. He sees, He knows and He is the God who heals.
Praying also for you sweet Beth, the Moore's and the Jones that you have a wonderful time of rest and fellowship and that you will be refreshed just as you have refreshed all of us.
Rosetta Stone keeps calling my name (and hubby's) we would also like to learn more Swahili... you've got a good start there, sister Beth with the "eating" words, but don't forget the most important... wappi cho? (where's the bathroom?) ...which begs the question... is there really really a bathroom? I know you know! My prayers are with you, my sweet sister ~ Malinda / Grants Pass, OR
Beth...you never cease to crack me up. This update is very funny and I so wish I was sitting there bird watching AND learning Swahili with you!

Hello Beth!!!! so sorry for your delay, hope you are up and on your way by now, I might be sprialling into self pity, if I were you and need to pull out my Welcoming Prayer from Father Thomas Keating "Welcome, I let go of my desire for control, I let go of my desire to change any situation, condition, person or myself. I welcome all thoughts, feelings, emotions, persons, situations and conditions " Very hard to do, but I do love this prayer in a frustrating situation- My prayer for your loved one is: May God's great Kingdom come into the Moore family and heal whatever wound, injury or illness that is preventing him/her from living the full life you promise- "Oh God, pour your shining light on him/her so that he/she may live again in full health." God Bless You and all your loved ones, Have a wonderful trip- You and Keith deserve a relaxing and restoring retreat- An Austin Siesta
Dear Lord , I pray for the Moore family. I lift them up to you. They have all ministered to me and are my family in Christ. I pray for a mighty blessing upon their household.
I should have got in the truck and joined you in North Dakota, I'm in Montana and it would have been so much fun.
Loving you
Jill
P.S that Rosetta stone sounds good.
Dear Beth and family -
Prayers are being lifted for a speedy departure and a very safe flight to beautiful Wyoming!!
Prayers are also being lifted up for your friend/relative in need of healing.

Bethie, I was driving thru Fargo the weekend before you went - and boy were those radio stations excited about your visit. I amost wrote you last week. What a blessing that they gave so much. They are truly NICE folks up there.
Enjoy your week in God's Country.

Your Airport Woes sound like my husband's a week ago.
We were waiting at our relatives for him to get to Maryland. Flights were so messed up when we went to sleep that night that we woke having NO IDEA where he was!
Thankfully, he made it to MD and got to join us for a 15-hour drive home.
Chocolate and a good Bible Study always help me in these situations ; )
Dear Beth,
You bet I prayed!
What a sweet gift from God this blog is! He's listening to our prayers for:
Beth... your sweet loved one (God is busy with right now!)
Leah... for the kidnapped gal (God sees her!)
Sue... your son (God loves you both and is moving!)
No doubt other prayer requests by now - spoken and unspoken.
Jesus, thank you! Thank you! You see, hear, and You have provided a way for us to come together in Your name - and here You are! We love you!!!
Just said a prayer for your family. Dont need to know who or what- our great and powerful God knows all!
Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am praying. :) And LOL at your choice of verb! Haha. Have a great day!
Oh bless your sweet heart you are bored! Just think in only a few short hours you will be with your family on a vacation! I am praying for your family member and their healing. Thank you for all the hard work you do. My life has been so touched by the Lord through you. It was a treat getting to hear you speak at church on sunday! I will be coming your simulcast! Hi Beth:
I had the wonderful opportunity to attend your event in Fargo this past weekend. I was so spiritually blessed and refreshed. I can't wait to share with my women's bible study group the wonderful lessons we learned. We are studying Esther now.
Prayers for your family member and for your ministry.
Thank you for allowing God to direct you to Fargo.
Jeannie
Love the updates, especially the language lesson!! I just love your sense of humor!! I am so looking forward to the Simulcast at the end of the month. We are so blessed to have it available in our church. God bless you bunches!!

Hi Beth,
Praying for you and your family today!
Are there any moonpies in that vending machine?
Are you serious? You and Keith are in the airport learning Swahili?? I hope you get here (Denver) before the weather turns. Have a wonderful time in WY with your loved ones! Being such a public person, you don't ever have to say more than you feel led. God knows; I will pray. :)
P.S. Way to go Fargo women! I pray that God would make the hearts of us all brimming with generosity at all times on all occasions.
You are a riot and I love and appreciate you so much! I had the pleasure of being in Fargo at LPL this past weekend with my two young adult daughters. At the end of the weekend, I felt my heart had been worked over by a meat tenderizer. Thank you for helping me grow in my love for Jesus. Prayers for your family-

Hey Beth,
The church I attend loves your Bible Studies! My best friend tells of me of different things she is learning through your studies. Thanks for being a vessel for Christ.
I wanted to share a poem the Lord inspired me to write. I love writing and reading poetry.
Here it is:
The days pass by, I wonder why
Why am I here another day
My life’s a mess I have nothing to say
Lord how did your Son face mankind
People bound his hands, and now the truth they bind
Friends they fall, they need you
I call out loud Lord I need you
How do you love us all today
How do you listen to us all pray
These questions are from my brain
I am weak but Lord you reign
I cannot walk Lord be my cane
I need you to help me bear the pain
The suffering hurts but your Son understands
For he took my place, nails through his hands
He stayed on the cross I don’t know how
With a crown of thorns on his brows
His blood poured out and he cried out
Lord forgive them please he never had doubt
Lord strengthen me as I crumble each day
You’re all I have as I face today
You’re with me every step of the way!

Oh, Beth, I do love your stories. You keep me in stitches which is exactly where I like to be. I will surely be praying for your family member and will pass your request along to my group of ladies when we meet tomorrow in our study of When Godly People Do Ungodly Things. BTW, I just want to thank you for being faithful to the Lord in writing this study. It has been such a blessing to all of us and God has used it mightily.
I just love that you are so real and I thank you for your service to Him and to us.
Love you,
Esabelle
Ah, that's a sign! You're supposed to go to Kenya again... :) We'll have to pray for a miraculous multiplication of your four phrases, though! :)
You crack me up, time and again.
Here's a much more handy phrase to use in airports:
Unatoka wapi? (Where are you coming from?)
Ninatoka Houston. (I'm coming from Houston.)
Unaenda wapi? (Where are you going?)
Ninaenda Wyoming. (I'm going to Wyoming.)
There. Now you and Keith have some dialogue to work on.
Wow! Praise the Lord! $10,000? That is crazy cool. So ironic too, that this morning I was listening to a sermon and he brought up Samaritans Purse. So, two times in one day? Praying for them? I think so.
Secondly, I hope by now y'all are on your flight. I know what terminal you're talking about and yes, it is super small. I am sure, though, that by learning a new language, you will stay highly entertained. I mean, for goodness sake, your entertaining me. So glad you've found food!
And lastly, I just have to tell you that I am certainly praying for Sept. 8th! I can't wait for bible study to start. I am so ready! This summer has been crazy so I am super excited to get back into routine.
Also, you know what? I lead a small group for high school senior girls and guess what study we're doing this fall? Living Beyond Yourself. They are thrilled and it will be their first one! I pray that they eat it up and change from the inside out. It was the first bible study I ever did, too, when I was a Senior in high school. So, I am thrilled to lead them through it.
Just thought I'd let you know! :)
Have a blast/restful time with the family.
Love you much!
Lindsee
I will definitely be praying for healing for your loved one, as well as for sfety and travel for all of you during your vacation. I pray that God heals him/her soon and that he/she will feel His presence with him/her every step of the way.
And good luck to you and Keith with the Swahili! God bless!
Dearest Beth,
I pray that today your loved one who needs healing would be covered in the precious, saving, healing blood of Jesus Christ! I stand in agreement with all of these ladies for total healing for him/her. We together bind the issue and loose the power of the Holy Spirit to do His work. I know that Jesus wills to heal. Not only was it a part of His ultimate sacrifice, but He healed while here on earth and the Word says Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
blessings!

Thank you for coming to Fargo last weekend...I was blessed! I needed a weekend away to focus on the Lord. One of my friends told me the weekend would make me a better mommy and wife, and she was right!
Why does boredom always lead to eating? ugh! Universal pastime.
God, these sisters do so much for all of us. Please in your Providence, I pray you would work things out behind the scenes, up front, and all around, to bring healing to Ms. Beth's loved one; and be her comfort knowing you've got it. You've got it. We love you so much Lord. You are our strength. And we Praise You for times of generousity in times of famine.

Beth,
I am holding your family member and your family in prayer. I know how much pain it causes to see our loved ones going through very hard times. Our famiy will continue to hold you in our prayers. May God's peace bath your family in the days ahead.

Hilarious.... It will come in helpful when you visit Africa! Pray for God's hand on you and your loved ones.
Sorry you had to miss your flight, but God sent that sparrow sweetie. Not just to distract Keith, but to remind YOU that he takes care of even the sparrows. He will take tender care of you and your loved one in need.
praying for you all the time.

Swahili is such a BEAUTIFUL language! Our daughter studied it a semester in college and I would LOVE to listen to her speak it to me.
May God richly reward you as you WAIT!
Beth after your second post...I am laughing-it wasn't enough at the thought of you getting the Rosetta Stone...now your learning it!!!! You are just too much. Bless you and your honey as you travel-have a great time with your daughter, son-in-law and grandbabies!!!!

HI Beth and team. I just needed to give a quick thank you for coming to Fargo and bringing your passion and incredible Bible teaching. I was empowered and recharged. I was inspired to be a mighty warrior and have already drawn my sword. Praise Jesus for you and your ministry. Praying for you and your team!

Love you ... love you ... love you, Beth! Will be praying for your family member ... and for your vacation. You did an awesome job at the taping of Life Today! I was there with my two girls ... you called them out into the aisle and chatted with them! I was completely tickled! I loved all five outfits ... all the colors of the rainbow ... marvelous! And thank you for taking a picture with me ... though you probably don't remember us ... I know it was a crazy time for you! God was good through you, Beth ... so good! I just sat and smiled the whole time ... cause I'm so proud of you! Been doing your studies elven -twelve years now ... and I'm so proud of you!
Love you, Siesta Mama

Beth,
My prayers are with your family member, no need for us to know...God ALWAYS knows!
Enjoy family time, what a great setting!
Love,

PS Us girls in Tucson are soooo excited you are coming for a visit in March! Can't wait!
Had such a blast this weekend with you here in Fargo!! God is so totally amazing and I am rejoicing at the way He speaks through His servant Beth!! That's incredible about the giving to Samaritan's Purse. I loved the teaching and was inspired to fight the battle on my knees!
As an encourager, I have to say I had the most awesome time in prayer with two ladies. We were told ahead of time that the Lord would bring someone to us with a set of circumstances we could totally relate to and speak Truth to. Of course, God did just that and I was able to tell both gals that I had been where they were and remind them that God is Mighty to Save and HE is the ultimate Deliverer! I am living proof ;) I will continue to pray for them as their names are engraved on my heart.
God is SO good! I am praying for you and your family!
Praying for you and your family.
blessings,
Teresa
I was at Fargo this weekend too and I SO enjoyed what God had you share this weekend. My friend realized the bondage she was in and I was encouraged to take my spot as a wife and step back from taking the husbands role in our marriage! I also realized how blessed I am to have all this drama in my life!
Praying for your dear loved one Beth. As a dear friend of mine says to me from time to time, no matter what happens He is still on the throne. We can find hope and comfort in that. Blessings and love to you.
Robin
I live in Fargo, and thanks to the local radio station, won tickets to your LPL event - what a blessing! You really challenged - and encouraged - me to live BOLDLY in my beliefs, and in my God! I also left my windows cracked on Friday night, so my car was soaked on the inside when the event let out. Whoops. Thank you for coming to Fargo, Beth, and I would treat you to a Bab's latte any ol' day!
Praying for you and your loved ones. Always honored to pray for other people!
Yes, I will pray for your request. God knows it and He will step in there and touch that person's health, I just know it. I love you so! I hope to run into you in an airport someday before Heaven gets here. :D
Beth,
I am praying for your loved one. Health issues are challenging. I am also praying for you and Keith as you travel. I pray that you all get some good quality time with Curtis, Amanda, Jackson and Annabeth somewhere in Wyoming.
Enjoy yourself dear.
Kels
May God bless and perfect that which concerns you and your loved one, I am touched by your comments on the economy, so many are hurting....Oh Lord have mercy on Your people, cause us to live in the spiritual land of Goshen as You deal with our nation, be merciful Dear Father. Amen, Shalom
Praying!
So sorry about the delay that is such a bummer! Know you all are so excited to get there!
Hysterical about Rosetta Stone... I have always wanted to order those! : )
Emmy
Ha! His eye is on the sparrow *wink*wink*... and apparently all of us with ADD have our eyes on the sparrow too!!!
Love ya!!!
Beth, I am so happy to hear that I am not the only person who frets over airplanes - they are a HORRID reminder that I have absolutely NO control over my fate. Of course, then I am driven to my knees and praise God in heaven that my fate was predestined in the heavenlies before I was born and should my life end on that plane, it will really only be just beginning. How awesome are the things God uses to remind us of his soveriegnty and total control of the universe!
Dear Beth & Keith
It sounds like your experience today at IAH is for a personal story as example of .... for the benefit of some future lesson and teaching to thousands of women and a few hundred men.
Now tell me why were you in IAH's smallest terminal for this to happen??? Alone with God time?? Certainly a possibility, but only you will be able to determine your divine appointment. I am so thankful you had your laptop with you to communicate with the Siestas and you had power with air conditioning.
I appreciate the way you engaged your minds with the Rosetta Stone and learning a new language.
By now I pray you are already in Wyoming or at least close to it and able to enjoy Jackson and Annabeth.
I do not wish these difficult situations for you, however I so appreciate how God uses them for you to teach others about HIM.
If you can get through the difficult situation and find the good so can I. Thank you for being such an amazing mentor for me.
Beth, Keith and family, you remain in my prayers to have a refreshing time together and come back with fresh words from God to share with us all.
Just had a thought, maybe this experience is to prepare us all for Revelations we begin in September.
May God heal your family member in such a mighty and phenominal way that can only be credited to The Amazing Grace and Mercy of Elohim who brings sweet Peace to all.
Because of Grace,
Sylvia V.

My Bible Study group (and my 20 year old daughter) were at Living Proof in Fargo. This was the first time many of us had been to this type of event and WOW! We came away with a Good Word. I am going to really try to "duck". The thunderstorm was awesome (and we all were camping). Last but by far least, one of our ladies accepted Jesus as her personal savior! God is Good - all the time!
My prayers are with you, your family and your worship team & families.
Lori
Oh, Travis and team were absolutely wonderful - what a treat
Beth,
Already prayed for your loved one and will continue to do so. You and your family are such a blessing to me and God has used your Bible studies to dramatically improve my life. (My husband would tell you they have also dramatically improved our marriage.) It is an honor to pray for you and your family and please know I will continue to do so.
Love,
Susan
Beth,
I will be praying for healing for your loved one! I will also be praying for your brother's salvation that you mentioned in past seminars. I love you and thank God for your obedience to His call.
Angela A.
Love it!! Know the feeling of being stuck at the airport in a boring terminal.
Seems like you have put the time to good use, are you fluent yet?
Need some pics of those darlin babies with those Tetons in the background.
Melissa has me trying out new fragrances...now I have a headache. Too much!
Praying for your loved ones health issue.
I'll be prayin for your loved one! I've been struggling myself and was talking to a pastor the other day who said he went through a season of sickness where he was praying for healing. He said I knew in my heart that Jesus had healed me but my body wasn't acting like it so I got down on my knees and wept before God. He was having more tests run and asked God that when the test results came back good that Satan would have to leave in Jesus name. Two days later the doctor called and told him that he had a healing ulcer. So maybe your loved one is like this pastor ?? I just love Jesus!! and my siesta mama :) Tell your loved one to keep praying scripture over them!
Beth,
I'm praying for you and your sweet family, immediate and extended. I pray that God will act in such a way that there will be no denying that it was Him.
With love,
Michelle
I sure hope you are on your way and to busy having fun to read this!!!!
It was one of your funniest blogs and I shared it with my husband. We were just at IAH and remembered considering one of those Rosetta Stone courses, but only because after being in Texas for 2 weeks we thought we probable should learn Spanish.
Hope it is cooler in Denver!
We will also be praying as well. How it can way on your mind when someone you love is not well!
No need to know any details, the Father knows them all, just know you and your fam are in my prayers: for God's protection, comfort, provision, and blessing!
Praise God for the sweet group in Fargo!
I am praying for your family member. Believing God to be HUGE in this situation.
Also, praying for your trip to J.H. Wyoming! Have a fun and safe trip!
Much love,
Patty
We have had layovers in Houston on our way to Alaska (from Ohio...go figure) for the last two summers. My family laughs because I always keep my eyes peeled for "my friend, Beth".
Nimekula and then took a walkekula. Going to bedekula soon.
I attended the "little event that could" at the farGODome this past weekend with my mother, my daughter and my daughter-in-law. It was an incredibly blessed time and I will cherish it forever. You are most assuredly a gifted and anointed teacher.
I will be praying for your family member.

PS: so excited that you're coming to Idlewild!
Beth,
Your sister from Wyoming is chuckling and thanking you for some dinner hilarity. I was checking the blog before dinner and decided to share your Swahili words with my husband and two teenage boys. Before, during and after the meal I used the appropriate Swahili word to reflect whether I was going to eat, was eating, etc. It drove them crazy! My 14 year old swore he was going to send you an e-mail that said "Swahili...enough said." Anyway, thanks for the laugh. I needed it today!

Fun to find you in blog land...enjoy you.

Love You all in JESUS name..Suzann
Oh my Gosh!!! I'm so happy you are the kind of God loving person who does not like to waist a second!! Swahili sounds like so much fun. Thanks for the fun today. You are a hoot.
Royana
It just so happens, I lost your blog on my Google Homepage and didn't realize it. Thankfully, I was lead here again and WHAT?!?!?!?!?! you are in Wyoming?!?!?!?!?!?! I live in Wyoming!
"NINYI NI CHESHI !!"
I googled that! It means you are...warm, amusing, humorous, entertaining, funny, witty, comical in Swahili. So true :)
Praying for an amazing trip and for complete healing in Jesus name for your family member.
Much love to you!
Nicole
Hi Beth,
Thank you so much for coming to Fargo this last weekend. God has given you an incredible gift to teach and your love for the Lord is absolutely contagious! :) Travis and the praise team are absolutely amazingly talented. Listening to their beautiful voices makes me think about how awesome it will be to hear the angels sing.
When you mentioned how you love the North Dakota way, I wish I could have told you that we love YOUR way! Your enthusiasm and passion for the Lord is an absolute delight. I will be praying for you and your family member.

Love you,
Jennifer B from GA
Praying for your loved one, for God's healing & peace!
Of all the people in the world who should probably just "turn off" and relax...you turn to learning Swahili. Really. You just floor me!
So proud of those Fargo girls! I so wanted to be there too. Alas, God had other plans.
Prayed for the loved one, needing healing. May it be so, to the Glory of God the Father!
Enjoy my beautiful state. Hope you took a warm coat. Supposed to get down to 39 here tomorrow night and YOU are in the coldest part of the state. The fire place will be going, I expect!
Melana in Wyoming
That was about 3 good posts in one! Thanks so much for keeping us up to date and informed.
PTL on the offering for Samaritan's Purse - they are a great organization!!
"Lord, we humbly ask you for healing for this loved one. We ask that you hear and answer our prayers that your will be done. In Jesus Name, Amen."
P.S....would love to hear how the pronunciation of your Swahili is coming along :) Have a great time with the Jones family!
Bless your darlin' heart - I would have come and gotten you both and taken you to lunch - was at work just 1/2 mile away ------- so sorry for the long delay.
Have a blast in the cooler climate ---- a dream, as you know, for we Houstonians right now - and since May - will it ever get cool ---- what a long hot summer - drink in the nights on the porch and rest . . .
Peace Moore family.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I am SO sooooo sorry...because this is going to sound so horribly shallow--but the last part HAD ME IN STITCHES! I get it. The sarcasm is stinking hilarious.
On a more sensitive note, you have my prayers. I'll pray for her.
And, seriously Beth, I don't know if anyone but me saw the extreme humor in the issue of the stray bird--thank you, sweet Lord, for doors that linger open to long and/or for cruddy window construction. Life is entertaining if we JUST SUBMIT!
And one update upon the next. Too funny...
I am praying for your ministry. A group of Godly, hysterical women; sounds just like girls camp. Ridiculously funny. I love it! The Body of Christ--how amazingly precious. And, ahem, Rosetta Stone. I could learn Chinese--I just know it.
NUNCAKULA--I ain't eating cause it is way past my bedtime and it will land on my innocent hips, darn you.
I speak healing to your family member in need. He is our Great Physician...
Romans 15:13
In humility and love,
Becky
Beth,
You and Keith are my heros!!!...you are a constant inspiration and reminder that a marriage can be loads of fun, even when stuck in an airport with a Rosetta Stone vending machine. Thank you for your neverending smiles...you made my day!
Praying for your family!

PS When are you coming back to the northeast to see us again?
Beth, God bless your sense of humor during trying times! I needed a lift and when I read your airport adventure I just let out the best laugh! The language thing got me!!
Count me as one of the five thousand to pray for an unspoken request.
Be safe, let us know how things go on your trip.
With much appreciation for all you do for so many through your ministry with Gods word.
Lovin ya'll from California!

Beth -- praying for your family member. May the Great Physician give you comfort, peace, wisdom and discernment as you walk the path He's prepared for each of you.
Know that I'm lifting this up before Him and asking for His hand to move. He knows the circumstances and I don't need to know.
Praying for your loved one whomever it may be. Isn't it amazing how a general request can be turned into a soap opera. Okay ladies let's pray for the loved one. Our God is listening.
Speaking of up dates. after the summer bible study and bimonthly video I would like to make a request. How about taling to us bimonthly or even monthly during the other months of the year on the blog. I'm sure that others would like to hear what's going on with Living Proof and you throughout the year. If I could go to every Living Proof event I would to get refreshed and pumped up to hear God's word, but since that isn't possible as probably for most of us, how about pumping us up on the blog. Just a thought but certainly not to cause you more work. I love how you let God use you and want you to know how much I appreciate it. Your inspiration has given me the zest for loving God's word and just want others to love IT too. Thanks from Ceffie
