Are you looking to connect with other Siestas for our summer Bible study? If so, we're opening up comments in this post just for you. Beth, Melissa and I are not going to be able match people up, but we do want to give you a chance to connect on your own. Maybe you're looking for people in your area to do the study with in person. Or maybe you're looking for people to discuss the study with online. (How you'd do that is up to you.) We think meeting in person is preferable, but we know that's not possible for everyone.
I'm not sure how well this "Connect Here" post going to work, but I want to give it a chance! If it works well, we can try it again for other things. When you leave a comment, don't forget to provide a way for others to contact you.

God's powerful hand is pulling me into this study and He wants me there. It happened when I posted a Twitter question "Just finished Daniel and looking for suggestions for a new Bible study." A blogger invited me to join her in MML so I did and I ordered the leaders kit and 3 extra books. Back at Twitter, I typed in "Me, Myself & Lies" and found a post from Jennifer Rothschild! She said Beth Moore (my Bible Mama) selected her book for the summer study. I went back to Lifeway, ordered 4 more workbooks and then updated my Bible Cafe blog.
God knows my emotional closet is stuffed with repressed feelings I'd prefer to hide. God wants me to face my closet of worn out emotions and replace them with peace, love and joy. He's unraveling the knitting of my life and restoring my soul. As His servant, I'm putting on my Princess crown and jumping in with the leader kit, 7 books and a small group blog. God is Great!

OK, I just thought of this. I currently SKYPE my daughter weekly since she lives out of state and it is great! Is there anyone interested in a SKYPE group? We could actually SEE each other. You have to have a laptop with a camera/speakers or a web cam set up and download the free SKYPE program. It is great. I'd love to try this with someone.
One of our missionaries, works in Alaska and several very remote villages SKYPE into the Sunday services and join the 'hub' church! Isn't this cool!!!!

I got my book and I'm so ready for this study. To prepare over the next two weeks I will be asking God to go before us and do a BIG thing. This is so necessary and it has taken me 48 years to realize this tool of Satan that is used in our lives. I woke up this morning repeating and repeating my scripture memory verse and then singing "You are God Alone" in the shower. What started as a downcast spirit has now by the power of God been (denrut dnuora)turned around.
I'm praying for us all. GO GOD!!!

Just a suggestion: if you're having trouble searching through all the comments and finding someone near you, use the find feature (ctrl+f). You type in the name of the city you are looking for and it will find it on the page. I did it and found someone in my area.
